Backstory: He was born in a catholic church and was abandoned when his aunt and uncles  picked him up. He was bullied badly but a teen took it far and...forced themselves on him. His uncle started to kill the teens but the sole survivor shot him. Sam was sad and in anger unlocked his powers, killing the town. The church chased them in the woods and His aunt was killed. Sam survived but was soon about to starve when he met Jack, who was sympathic and took the boy with him
