So i want to know how you all feel about microlables in the LGBTQ+ community because i hear some people saying that they're harmful and others saying they aren't
but heres my opinion
(also a microlable is basically just a term that fits under another umbrella term)
I believe that microlables aren't harmful. i'm bisexual and i have 3 pansexual friends and an omnisexual friend. their identities don't harm me in any way. what i believe is harmful is claiming that microlables are harmful and trying to erase them because some people don't feel like they fit with an umbrella term like bisexual and telling them that what they identify with is 'harmful' or 'bi erasure' is what is harmful because news flash none of the sexualities that fit under the umbrella term of bisexual are bi erasure or biphobic.
