Chapter 2

Hannah's POV~

I walked up to where the boys were sitting, carrying a newspaper. "Boys look at this" I said handing them the paper. They looked through it and found the obituary I had circled. "This guys eye's melted out of his face and they are calling it a stroke" Dean said putting the paper down. "Yeah I guess so, so are we going to check it out?" I asked them. "Yeah most definitely" Dean said. "Guys, we can't just go strolling around, we need to find dad, the trail is getting colder and colder" Sam said. "No need to be grumpy Sammy" I said to him. "And that is exactly why we are killing all of these things, because we can't find dad, so until we do, we kill everything possible" Dean said. "What he said" I said pointing over at my older brother. "Fine" Sam said huffing.

The three of us walked out to the car, which was a 1967 black Chevy Impala. I got into the back seat. "Where even is this place?" I asked, I had only skimmed and scanned the paper. "It is in Toledo, Ohio" Sam said answering my question. "Next stop Toledo then" Dean said. He started the car and hit the gas. We went down the street and Dean put in one of his CD's. ACDC started to play. I could practically see Sam roll his eyes while me and Dean sang along to Back in Black. "Come on Sammy you know you want to sing with us" I said to him laughing. "No I really don't" Sam said chuckling. "Yeah you do Sammy, I can see it on your face" I said. "Hannah you can't even see my face" Sam said. "So, I can pretend I can" I said to him. He shook his head laughing. "Well I am very good at pretending" I told him. "I believe you Hannah" Sam said to me. "Sam when was the last time you even laughed dude?" Dean asked him. "I don't know Dean" Sam said in a very serious voice.

It was quiet for a few minutes. "Well that escalated quickly" I said. "Oh shut up" Dean said jokingly. "In you dreams Dean" I said. "Yeah I totally dream about you being quiet" Dean said. "That would be a horrible dream, who would entertain you?" I asked him. "Well I guess that isn't you" Dean said. I slapped him in the shoulder since I was sitting behind him. "You are an idiot" I said that. "Been called worse by better" Dean said. "Oh you just went there" I said. I cracked my knuckles. "Oh you bet I did" Dean said. I could see him grinning in the rearview mirror. "Oh just drive" I said to him smacking him again. "Yes mother" Dean said to be, but no one laughed at it. Instead we all thought about our mother, burning on the ceiling twenty two years ago.

I was only two when it happened. My father had put me and Dean to be after we had said goodnight to Sam, who was only six months, Dean was four. There was a loud screaming and we heard our father calling our mothers name. There was silence and me and Dean just sort of looked at each other, not sure what to do. Our curiosity got the best of us and we left our room. Our father came out of Sam's nursery carrying Sam. "Take your brother outside" He said to us. Dean was holding Sam. "Now Dean, go" He said and he ran back into the room. Me and Dean bolted out of the house and we watch on the front lawn as flames shot out of the window in Sam's nursery. Suddenly John was grabbing us and we spent the rest of the night on top of the Impala. We sat on either side of our father, who was holding Sam and he had a murderous look on his face. Although now he was missing and we were stuck trying to find him. Which is no easy task, especially with our father.

We finally arrived and the first thing we did was go to the autopsy room claiming to be FBI agents. The eyes were exactly like what it said in the papers. The just melted. Dean questioned the guy a bit before we left. "We should go check out the house" I suggested. "Good idea, see where it happened. We drove to the house and there was some sort of mourning reunion going on or something. "Isn't that the daughter that found him?" I asked nudging Dean. "Yeah, I think it is" He said. "Well lets go talk to her" I said. We walked up to her. "Hello, are you Donna?" Dean asked her. She nodded. "We are reporters for the local page. We would just like to ask you some questions about your father's death" Dean said. "Okay" She said. "Have you ever felt any cold spots in the house?" Sam asked her. "No" She said. "Did you smell any sulfur after you found your father?" I asked her. "No, my father died of a stroke" She said. "No he didn't, it's all my fault" The other sister, Lily said from behind her older sister. "Lily it isn't your fault" Donna said. "Yes it is! I said it" She said, she seemed very scared. "What did you say?" Dean asked her. "I said Bloody Mary" She said. "Lily, Bloody Mary isn't real" Donna said. "Yes she is, he died the way the legend said he would, she scratches out your eyes" Lily said. "Don't listen to my sister, she has been through a lot, she makes things up" Donna said. "Well thank you for your time" Sam said smiling.

We walked away from them. "We should go look at the house" Dean suggested as we stopped for a minute. "Yeah we should... Holy crap" I said staring past the boys. "What?" They both asked turning around. Standing there was our cousin, Sarah. She was standing there with her mother and a boy, who seemed like he was protecting her as if his life depended on it. "Holy crap" Dean said seeing her. "Yeah my words exactly" Sam said.
