Chapter 13
Sarah’s POV~
“So, you ready to go find your grace and become an angel again?” Cameron asked me, grabbing my hand and looking at me. I nodded and started to hear a faint flutter sound, like wings on a bird that is about to take off. But we never took off, just teleported. To a college campus.
“Why are we at a college campus Cam?” I asked.
“Well, we needed computers. The internet always has the answer.” Cam answered.
“Uh, Cam?” I tugged on his arm.
“Yeah?” He looked at me.
“I… uh…” I froze. There was something watching us. Or someONE. “I think there is someone watching us Cam.” I whispered.
“I can fix that.” And we teleported into the campus computer room. There were rows and rows of computers. We chose the one closest to us and sat in front of it. “Okay, so we need to search for a meteor that hit on September 17th, 2000. Well, nine months before that. So, December 17th, 1999.” We searched it and found one result. In Fort Riley, Kansas. God did I hate that town. “Hey, that looks like it could be it.” He said, and grabbed my hand. Now, we were in Fort Riley.
“I hate this town. We should hurry up before I burn it down.” I said, glaring at everything. “So where is the tree?” I asked Cam, who had turned around. I turned around to see an enormous tree with leaves that were an unnatural shade of green. I couldn’t turn away. I started walking towards it, gazing at the top as I get closer. “Is… Is this my tree?” I asked while I turned to look at him.
“Yes it is.” He said, smiling at me. I turned back at the tree, and put my hand on it.
A bright blue mist came out of the tree and flew in circles, then right at me. It forced it’s way into my mouth and down my throat. I could feel it seep into my heart. It felt strange. My vessel exploded. But, Father brought her back for me. I awoke, on the ground scrunched up in a ball. But an Angel. I looked up at Cam.
“Cam?” I asked. He helped me up and brought me into a hug.
“Yeah?” He asked.
“Why the heck did I ever leave you?” I asked, looking up at him.
“Well, your life kind of did depend on it.” He said with a grin.
“Good point.” I said. I cupped my hands around his face and brought him in for a kiss. It was a passionate kiss. Then, Gabriel and Hannah teleported a few feet away from us.
“OOOOOOO! You two kissed! I’m gonna tell Dean!” Hannah taunted.
“You do and I follow Michael’s old orders!” I said jokingly with a grin on my face. I ran to her and hugged her. “It’s good to be an angel again.” I said.
“Yeah, it is.”Hannah replied. Then we both froze, pulled apart from the hugged and looked at each other. “DEAN!” We both said in unison.
…………………………………………….
“What the hell were you thinking Sarah?” Dean yelled at me. We were back at the motel room, and in deep trouble. We came back at around five this morning and Dean was awake… and furious. “Why would you leave the motel at three in the morning? Especially with HIM! I thought he kidnapped you!” He yelled and pointed at Cameron.
“I told you, we went for a walk and met up with some… old friends.” I said with a grin.
