Cabinet Battle Who?

A/N
Guys, first time writing for the public to see. Also, the war is kinda over... in this. Let say Britain just doesn't want to give up quite yet. Anywho, enjoy!

Y/n POV

I held onto my father, General George Washington, arm loosely. "Do I have to come? I mean, you already chose me as one of your trainers for the trainees... So why should I have to come to some stupid Cabinet meeting?" I muttered through gritted teeth, smiling as a mother and likely son, passed by.
"Because I want you to," He said. "Plus, don't you like spending time with me y/n?" He asked.

"Yes. I do." We walked into a building, I sat in a chair beside my father as men slowly entered the room. (Speaking of which, I don't really know if Washington was there. So. Yeah.)

I saw one in certain, glaring at a man who I assume is Alexander Hamilton, I heard about him from my father. The meeting doesn't start for another 15 minutes... Screw it. I walked out of the room, I wasn't paying attention and ran into a man wearing a Magenta suit.

"Sorry darlin'," He said. "Didn't see you there." His southern accented voice cooed. I wrinkled my nose in disgust as he kissed my knuckles. "Sir, I am not just a women, I'm not interested in your charms." I said plainly. He looked taken aback but grinned anyways, his hand still on mine. "Feisty. Not a bad way to be. Can I take you out for tonight?" He said, staring me in the eyes. I clenched my fist. "I'd rather not." His smirk managed to get wider. "Please. I insist, you won't regret it..." He murmured as he gazed at me. "My eyes are up here. And no. Sir, I must be going." I turned to go, he grabbed me and pulled me back to where we were face-to-face. I sent my fist right at
his face and prowled back as I called over my shoulder. "Good day sir."

I walked back in the room modestly, sitting beside my father, god this corset was tight. The man entered the room and sat beside a shorter man... James Madison I believe? I don't really know, I don't pay attention much.

"Secretary Jefferson, you have the floor sir." My father announced. "Life, Liberty and the persuit of happiness. We fought for these ideals we shouldn't settle for less," I rolled my eyes as he rose from his seat. The same man I punched. Ha, looks great with a black eye. I smirked some. "Thank you, Secretary Hamilton, your response?" My father basically commanded. How long was I spaced out for, cause I only heard about a quarter of what he was saying..

Hamilton rose from his seat, glaring at the taller man with fluffy hair. "Thomas, that was a real nice declaration. Welcome to the present we're running a real nation, would you like to join us, or stay mellow doin' whatever the hell it is you do in Monticello?" He said with a smirk, I noticed Jefferson scoffed at the remark. Ahh america, the place where music comes out of nowhere and people can dance perfectly in sync without practicing. Amazing isn't it?

The meeting ended and I walked out with my father trailing behind me, he had 'business' to attended to. I found it rather boring. I grinned as I saw Thomas holding a pack of ice to his black-eye. "Did you punch him? Jefferson, get over here." My father ordered, he nodded and come over hesitantly. "I did. What's the problem?" I muttered. "The problem is, you had no reason. I taught you only to punch a man if they didn't give you your choice." He snapped. "And I listened. He wouldn't let me go unless I went on a date with him!" I hissed back. He was shocked and gave a curt not before turning to the man. "Thomas Jefferson. What my daughter said, it's true?" He asked. Thomas Jefferson. Heard of him, from what I heard he doesn't do much. I let out a yawn, staring at him. "Y-yes. But, I— I don't have and excuse for my actions." He managed to choke out, Staring at his hands nervously. "You admitted. That enough. Now apologize to y/n would you?" He technically demanded. He nodded and turned to me. "Sorry ma'am. That wasn't very bright of me, I didn't mean to offend you." He murmured faintly. I nodded. "You're forgiven Mr. Jefferson." He smiled thankfully and topped his head to us, walking back to the shorter man who was coughing into a handkerchief.
