Straight to the point

Tommy and Tubbo walked together, side by side, telling each other what they did during the period when Tommy disappeared.

They did unique things! Well Tubbo did at least.

"Wait so you acquired a new animal?!"
Tommy looked at Tubbo in awe, while Tommy was lost in the forest which was called StarDew Forest, Tubbo made a new friend?

Well animal companion at least.

"Yeah! The villagers I visited were in shock, and I was so confused! They said it was a rare animal!"
Tubbo explained briefly.

"And..? The name of it?"
Tommy asks, clearly wanting to know if this animal is better than Spark, but it's obvious Spark is better.

"I think it was called...the name is hard please don't judge!"
Tubbo thought for a moment or two, following behind Tommy to the village.

"Tubbo we're nearly there so-"

"A Peryton!"
Tubbo exclaimed, smiling happily that he remembered.

"....what?"

"A Peryton! That's the animals name! And I called it...Star? Or was it...no I mean..."
Tubbo huffed that he couldn't remember his own companions name, can't relate.

He gave a quick look at Spark who was still carrying the basket they had back at the forest.

"Thanks Spark.."
He said quietly, turning back to Tubbo.

Tommy listened to Tubbo rant on of what he called the "animal" or "Peryton". 

He continued to lead the way to the village.

They finally arrived a few minutes later, with Tubbo still confused about what he named his new companion.

Tommy looked at Spark for help, he shook his head making Tommy groan.

"Oh I called it Misty!"
Tubbo finally says, looking at Tommy.

Tommy snickered at the name, Misty?

"It's a really cool name isn't it Tommy?!"
He saw a glint of happiness in his eyes.

Not wanting to upset him yet it kind of is his duty to annoy him,

"It's a lame name. But whatever you say Tubs."
Tommy waved him off, focusing on his surroundings rather than Tubbo.

Tubbo deflated at the comment and nodded his head sadly.
Tommy realised his mistake and turned back to Tubbo.

"I mean I was joking! Tubbo I was joking it's an awesome name!"
Tommy said with a bit of desperation in his voice.

Tubbo half heartedly nodded, not really forgiving him but did a small smile, accepting his "joke".

Hesitantly, Tommy continued to go through the village, asking people of any signs of the dragon.

But they all had a similar response.

"What a kid like you? Defeating the dragon? Hilarious!"

And they wave him off, telling him it's better that "experienced people" or "older people" should handle the job.

One had the audacity to call him a child.

A fucking child.

He'll show them who's the most mature.

Never show the plan, rather, show them how you execute the plan/the outcome.

And Tommy knows they'll be shocked when a 16 year old defeats an all mighty being.

Then they asked one more person, the 50th one, Tubbo convinced him that he should try once more and to not lose hope.

He walked up to someone. asked a woman this time.
"Hello...miss I'm just asking if you know any signs of a dragon appearing in villages..?"
She looked at him, like she had no hope. As expected.

"A boy...? Ah the one the rumours had mentioned."
She says, disappointing both Tubbo and Tommy.

"Child, children like you cannot succeed in such a quest."
Tommy's heart broke at that sentence but she kept on going. Tubbo glared at her angrily.

"You should do what all boys do, stay home, study away and be good for the village! Not some warrior who will die for no reason!" Tommy looked at the woman, upset and angry.
Tubbo nearly about to stab her.

He wanted to protest and Tubbo did also but she continued, not wanting to be mean, they both stayed silent.

"You don't belong with us. You belong to another land, disastrous land, The Dream SMP."
That struck a chord for Tommy.

Weird.

The woman continued to talk, sadly.

"Can I shut her up..?"
Tubbo whispered, noticing how she got sidetracked with a villager passing by.

"No..besides..I want to know more about this land she mentioned.."
Tommy whispered back, staring down at the woman who turned to them both.

"Or even worse, an even wretched place thats in that land. I heard it in rumours, fighting, a war even. Silly really, stupid to fight for honour."
She continued from earlier.
Tommy clenched his fists. He hates the woman ten times for now.

"Tch, it's disappointing really, but what's more disappointing is L'manburg. Never in my life will I ever want to hear that name."

She shook her head in disgust, practically ranting on about her hatred towards this place.

"You boy deserve to be there, dying for no reason and thinking you have a reason. Just in that forest you will find that...place."
The woman says, Tubbo nearly wanting to tackle her at that very moment.

"Now don't take this as a threat boys! I'm just simply saying that you should to the right thing. Farewell now."
She then strode away, leaving an angry Tommy and Tubbo.

"Tubbo."
Tommy says, turning to the opposite direction.

"Yeah. I hate her."

"Not that."

Tubbos eyes widened.
"Tommy we shouldn't get caught up in a war! I mean...the quest! To defeat the dragon! We can't-"

"Let's end that war then the dragon. I'll prove that bitch wrong."
Tommy then stomped towards the village the woman said it was.

He heard Tubbo called his name and Sparks whines and whimpers, he ignored them.

Why is he doing this? Pity? It's stupid but he wants to show that bastard that whatever this place is called is worthy.

Tommy was running now, through the dark forest. It scared him ever so slightly but he didn't care, it seemed he has a love for a place that he didn't knew.

A dark shadow appears above him, he pulled out his sword, ready.

An animal appeared, Tubbo and Spark were on that animal, the animal looked curiously at Tommy.

"Hop on Tommy!" Tubbo brought out his hand to him, Tommy ran towards Tubbo, grabbing his hand and Tubbo helped him onto the animal.

"Go!"
With that, it spreader its wings and flew into the starry sky, he didn't realise it was already nighttime.

Tubbo turned to Tommy.
"Meet Misty!"

"This is Misty?!"

"Yeah, what regret what you said earlier?"
Tubbo had a shit-eating grin on his face, it annoyed Tommy but in a jokingly way.

"Shut up!"
The tail of the animal was very unique.

He was almost mesmerised by it.

"So, we heading towards that place?"

Tubbo asked Tommy, enjoying the wind that's going through his hair and Tommy's.

Tommy nodded and looked at the ground for anything that could help find this place quicker.

"So...L'manburg is the name huh...I like it." Tubbo said to Tommy, smiling. Tommy nodded at Tubbo, he has a good feeling about the place.

"Oh and Tommy, sorry to say this to ruin the mood but when I was about to go look for you, I wanted to visit Niki one last time but her shop was closed. I think she went looking for you too Tommy."

He looked away from Tubbo, he caused so much chaos he wanted to just go back and pretend nothing ever happened.

"...have you seen her..?"
Tommy asked, trying to lighten the mood.

"Well...No..."
It was silent. They lost another friend. She might be dead or alive, no one knows.

"...she was like a sister to me..."

"Same here..but hey man if she's alive...we'll greet her like one."
Tubbo gave a reassuring smile to Tommy, a contagious smile.

Tommy smiled back.

"We should rest, that tree looks like a good spot."
Tommy pointed out. Tubbo agreed and told Misty to dive. It was...scary.

They're now on the ground, they're not tired but they felt tired? An odd feeling.

"Good night..guys." Tommy ended the long silence and lied down on his side, facing Spark who was beside him.

"Goodnight to you too bud..."

Tommy woke up, he was quite tired for the reason of sleeping so late.

The grass was soft or he just got used to sleeping on it.

He looked around, the usual as always. A tall, high tree and Tubbo, Spark and Misty sleeping beneath it.

Tommy being Tommy wanted to explore just a bit of the forest. He stood up and looked around, he then wandered off, hoping he won't get lost.

Tommy looked high and low over the trees and bushes, wanting and yearning for something exciting. He frowned when it was just your average, green and healthy forest.

He was about to go back until he saw a ledge, wanting a bit more excitement he ran and there he saw, it.

(Sorry if this isn't it I tried my best to find it and this came up so I just thought it was-!)

It was...beautiful. He wondered why this could be a terrible place, the woman is crazy.

He admired the place, the buildings and the scenery alike. They either have a great magical abilities or in general just good builders.

Tommy wanted to believe that this is all an illusion, maybe Spark followed him. So he'll go figure it out.

Tommy turned behind and started running back to where everyone was. He leaped through the forest with his "amazing" parkour skills and finally found them, they all looked tired but were happy when they saw Tommy himself.

Tubbo gave him a wave and tossed him some bread. "Catch!"

Tommy obviously caught it but since he didn't want to waste any time, he chowed down the bread and looked at Tubbo dead in the eye, it scared Tubbo ever so slightly.

"I think I found it!"
Tommy exclaimed to Tubbo. Tubbo tilted his head, a little confused on what's going on. "Huh?"

"L'manburg Tubbo! L'manburg!"
Tommy grabbed his hand and started running. It took a couple of seconds for Tubbo to match Tommy's pace and for Misty and Spark follow the duo.

Tommy soon then stopped when they were at the ledge. Tubbo had the exact same reaction Tommy had, awe.

"This is L'manburg?!!"

"Yeah, weird right? We just gotta find a way down there and we're good to go!"
Tommy looked around and saw that they could just slide of the ledge easily.

Tubbo had a simpler idea though. He hopped onto Misty. Spark did the same thing.
"You coming Tommy?"

Tommy nodded, agreeing that this plan is much more easier.

He hopped onto Misty and they flew around, making sure if it were safe or not to even enter the place.

They did successfully land on a massive wall. A black wall made out of a strong brick.

Tubbo, Tommy and Spark got off Misty and looked around.
There was a van in the middle and a lake with trees surrounding the place.

Tommy looked around in awe, admiring the place. Tubbo did the same thing as well.

Though Tommy felt something very sharp at the back.

"Don't. Dare. Fucking. Move."

The voice had a familiar Syldavian accent, threatening even.
Tommy whimpered and nodded, not turning back.
He looked beside him where Tubbo is supposed to be and there he was. In the same situation.

The person who has Tubbo in custody, held hostage actually looked like a fox.

Furry even.

"..a furry..?"
Tommy mumbled under his breath. The person who had the sword on Tommy's back tried to keep in his laugh but failed.

The "furry" gave an offended glare at Tommy and huffed at him.

"Heh, alright turn around."
The voice commanded him and Tommy did so. The person was taller than him, brown bushy hair and had an odd looking uniform.

"..wait.."
Tommy had a faint memory of what happened back in Skyecrest.

"Are you the one who gave me a beanie?"
The question was weird but the person seemed to remember. He smiled warmly at Tommy.

"..Furry put down the sword."
The "furry" groaned at the name put did put aside his weapon.

Tubbo gave a happy sigh and looked at Tommy for answers.

Tommy had none.

"Alright I'm guilty. Wilbur. Wilbur Soot."
The man took out his arm, asking for him to shake his hand even.

Tommy hesitantly did, Wilbur seemed happy.

"Sorry for doing that, practicing for introduces and that shit."
Wilbur explains, Tommy not fully convinced.

"Oh introductions...uhh my name is-"

"Tommy."

Wilbur finished his sentence smiling. The furry and Tubbo were very confused on what's going on.

"Are you some bastard stalker?!"
Tommy glared at the man, pulling out a small dagger.

"Oh no. It's just...Niki told me who you are. A smart kid she said, and I could see it."
Tommy proudly smiled.
"I really am smart aren't I?"

"No you aren't!"
Tubbo retracted, clearly wanting to be noticed.

"Shut up Tubbo!"
Tubbo giggled at him playfully.

"Oh Tubbo! Niki said how kind and how fond you are to animals. I like that." Tubbos eyes sparkled at what he said and nodded happily.

"Well meet Furry-"

"FUNDY."
He corrected looking at him angrily yet with a hint of humour in his eyes.

"Fundy then."
Wilbur rolled his eyes.

"Wait! You said you talked to Niki! Have you seen her?"
Tubbo asked desperately, with the look in Wilburs eyes he shook his head sadly.

"Hopefully one day I'll see her again..."
Wilbur frowns. Tommy and Tubbo copying him as well.

Fundy decided to think otherwise.
"So...you staying here or did yous get lost?"
Fundy asked, the tail swished with him curiously.

"Actually yeah. We hope you don't mind-"

"Not at all. L'manburg is always welcome." Wilbur said looking around the place.

"But Wil-?!"
Fundy tried to protest, getting ignored.

"Just be careful outside the wall."
And Like that he then strode away, into the van.

Tommy and Tubbo exchanged glances, confused ones. Fundy noticed this.

"I'll explain. We're currently...not in the best situation at the moment..but we have more allies I suppose...well one traitor.."
Fundy had a sad look.

"Who's the traitor?"
Tubbo asked the older fox fondly. Fundy looked at the two in front of him and nodded.

"Be careful of him..."
Fundy ended mysteriously.

Tommy had enough of that though.

"What's the name though?!"
Tommy asks, Fundy getting slightly annoyed.

"His name was Eret end of story... now I should show you where you'll stay for the time being!"
He rushed his sentence and hurried away to the van.

Tubbo and Tommy shared a look.

"I like this place already.."

"Yeah!....wait where's our pets?"
Tubbo looked around nervously.

He then stared at Tommy dead in the eyes.
"We're terrible owners.."

Tommy stared back.
"Fuck."
