GWEN POV

I walked down the hallway until I came infront office door. I opend the door and saw Director Fury sitting at his table, talking to Y/N on my left who was leaning on the wall, spinning his knife in his hands. They turned towards me.

Gwen: "You wanted to talk to me, director?"

Fury: "Yes, you may take a seat."

I nod and seat on the chair opposite to Fury.

Gwen: "What is this all about?"

Fury: "Well, you now one of your villans Doc Ock and he's been doing trouble for last 2 weeks, yes?"

Gwen: "Yes, it's kinda odd, he was always 1 day trouble maker."

Fury: "And you failed to catch him?"

Gwen: "Well, emm... yea..."

Fury: "Well, you will now."

Gwen: "(confused) How do you mean?"

Fury then pulls out an report file out on the table and push it to me.

Fury: "Agent L/N has been spying on Hydra agents group named "Zeta 9" for couple of weeks now."

Gwen: "I thought Hydra was dealt with already."

Y/N: "That is what they want us to believe."

I turn to Y/N who walked over to table.

Y/N: "After I killed [boss name] and destroyed most of their bases, it seems they have fallen into their own civil war."

Gwen: "Civil War?"

Fury: "From what we gathered, there are atleast 4 or 5 of Hydra organizations, every has diffrent colour of Hydra on their logo."

Y/N: "They are fighting over stollen vribranium they have which I underestimated."

Gwen: "How does this connects to Doc Ock?"

Fury pulls out a pictures out of report file and trow them on table.

Fury: "Agent L/N tracked phone calls of now know as "Red Hydra" or pieces of original one with an buyer for vribranium. And he lead the way unitl he came upon an adress of - - "

Y/N: "- - Doc Ock..."

I was surpraised.

Gwen: "Wait what!? Did you arrest him?"

Y/N: "Unfortunetly no, he seems to have multiplie locations which he leave after 3 months and then destroy any evidence someone begin there."

Fury: "But we have found out about a arm deal in Manhattan Tommorow between Zeta 9 and Doc Ock, probably vribranium."

Fury grabed the pictures and file and looked at me straight in the eyes.

Fury: "So I'm asking you to go one the mission with agent L/N to catch them both."

My eyes widen as I fall a little in the chair, I looked at both of them, Y/N raising his eyebrow at me, probably because I jumped a little.

Gwen: "Y-you searious?"

Y/N/Fury: "He's/I' m always searious."

Gwen: "Why me?"

Fury: "Because maybe L/N can beat them all easily, but I don't want news found out about him yet, we can imagene what public will say about a human who isn't a human."

Y/N: "And how you think public will react if Ghost-Spider acutaly did it?"

I smiled at Y/N, but it fades quickly when realisation hit me.

Gwen: "Ah shit, I have school feild trip tommorow."

Y/N: "LANGUAGE."

We looked at Y/N, who immediately put hand on his mouth after realising what he just said.

Fury: "We know, that why we taken cared of that."

Tony: "From tommorow, you'll work at Stark Internship."

I turned to door and see Tony walking like he just won something.

Gwen: "Wait, wait, wait, what!?"

Tony: "No worries, underoose, that'll be your excuse from not begin at school."

Gwen: "Wait, will I really work at that?"

Tony: "No, unless you want to. See, Fury, problem solved."

Tony smirks while saying with his genius ego, then he sees Y/N still in frozen state.

Tony: "What's with you V, died of boredroom?"

Jarvis: "Pretty sure he said language, sir."

Tony widen his eyes and looks at Fury and me.

Tony: "Did he?"

I slowly nod, while Tony statys their dumbfounded.

Tony: "Great, another headache that comes and goes."

Then he leaves and Y/N unfrozen himself and looks at Fury.

Y/N: "Can we dissus last of this meeting, please?"

Fury: "So arm deal will happen at 4 am so you go with L/N to one of our secret hotels, where L/N is already using, for our agents where you can go after every your patrol."

I was taken back a little by this statement.

Gwen: "But I'm good at with my home."

Fury: "Last time I remember that Vulture attack you and nearly killed you father at your home!"

I skipped the beat and gaps.

Y/N: "Nick!"

Y/N shouted at Fury... by his first name. Fury locks eyes with him.

Y/N: "I talk you about that, little to far."

He said camly this time, while I'm also surpraised Y/N knew about the attack too.

Fury's face becomes neutral as he turns to me.

Fury: "My apologies, you may go and pick some stuff before you leave for hotel."

I nod, get up and leave the office but not before hearing Fury saying: "What did I say about calling me by my first name?"

Y/N: "Well, my mother called you that all the time ."

Later on, Y/N and I are now infront hotel, it's 7:17 pm. As we enter the hotel, Y/N turns to me.

Y/N: "Wait here, I need to confirm you in the hotel."

I nod as he leaves, as I lean on the wall. As I wait, someone calls me out.

???: "Well, well, isn't it the famous spider!"

I turn a around and see one of male agents coming towards him. I wear my suit and mask so that why he called me as spider. He has brown hair and probably is 180 cm tall. He's young, probably 17 or 18.

Gwen: "Exuse me?"

???: "My bad, I'm Brandon, heavy weapons guy."

He reaches his arm. I slowly move mine and shake with him.

Gwen: "Well you know who I am already."

Brandon: "I gotta ask, what bring you here, never think you know of this hotel?"

Gwen: "Well, director Fury Send me here so I closer to my tommorow's mission."

Brandon: "Director you say? Well good luck with that... hmm, has anyone ever told you that you look very tighen in that suit?"

I felt uneasy and uncomfortable by that question.

Gwen: "Emmm what?"

Brandon: "No worries, because I think you look great."

Gwen: "Emm..."

Brandon: "Do you have a room? If not, you may come to m- -"

Y/N: "Hello there, private Brad."

Y/N comes and steps a little between me and Brandon, separating us.

Brandon: "Oh! Agent Ven - -"

Y/N: "How many times I told you not need to call me that, Y/N is enough. How was your training?"

Brandon: "G-great, didn't m-miss a beat sir--!, em, Y/N!, em, what b-brings you here around a-again, Y/N?"

Y/N: "Well, director Fury gave me a mission which I'll do with Ghost-Spider over here, as my partner."

Brandon: "O-Oh."

Y/N: "And she's staying in my room for the night and because mission is very early, so she want to take a nap before mission so may you exuse us?"

Brandon: "Ye-yea of c-course, si--Y/N! Have a good night."

Y/N taps him on his back: "Good night too, Brad." as Bradon walks away.

Y/N walks over to me.

Y/N: "You okay?"

Gwen: "Wh-what?"

Y/N: "I can feel you're uneasy and uncomfortable."

Gwen: "Oh, just a question he asked."

Y/N: "Is it about suit?"

Gwen: "How did y- -"

Y/N: "I know him for while now. He's good kid, but he's problem is his constant flirting with pretty girls."

I blushed under my mask.

Gwen: "P-pretty?.. A-are y-y-you jealous?"

I ask as I rub my right hand. Question takes him back.

Y/N: "N-no, n-no...no, just s-saying... we should probably go to my room now."

I nod as I grab my stuff and we went to the room.

I wake up, moon shining in the night. I check nightstand watch, it's 2:37 am.
I got up and went to bathroom. When I walked in living room, I see Y/N sitting on the chair at table, checking his weapons.

Y/N: "Good you waked up."

Gwen: "Were you sitting here all this time?"

Y/N: "Yes... My system rarly needs sleep. When I try to sleep, I can't."

Gwen: "Have you tried reading bed stories?"

Y/N chuckles as he's done reassembling the sniper.

Gwen: "You know I miss you in school. Classes... feel kinda boring without you..."

Y/N: "I thought about that too... but no, it's not good idea."

Gwen: "Why, you scared of Flash bullying you again?"

Y/N: "No, not that. I'm scared that I might hurt someone now and of their reactions if they found out that I'm half alien, how you think they will consider me as? A freak."

Gwen: "Hey!"

I snap my fingers as I walked to him and squatted infront of him, looking him in his E/C eyes.

Gwen: "Don't think of that. You're not a freak, don't let others opinions bother you, because that doesn't change the person you already are. You're nice, good and caring person and most importantly, my Best friend."

He looks me in the eyes. He sigh.

Y/N: "I learned this over time:

Never push a kind person past their limit.
Never push a gentle person past the brink.
Never assume kindness as weakness."

I smile and hug him and he hugs back.
We realise from hug.

Gwen: "I'm going to put my suit on."

He nods as I went to change.

Manhattan, 3:52 am

Y/N and me are currently on the rooftop, having good view on the building where Zeta 9 and Doc Ock should meet.

Y/N is looking through his sniper while I through binoculars he gave me.

Y/N: "12...14...15 agents..."

Gwen: "Don't forget 1 on the balcony."

Y/N: "then 16...something is off."

Gwen: "What?"

Y/N: "There are 16 of them but they came with 8 cars, which one can carry 4 of them."

Gwen: "You thinking there can be more of them?"

Y/N: "No, they always work in group of 9 to 18...I need a closer look, I gonna sneak down and s out, you stay here."

I nod as he jumps down the rooftops towards the building. I watch him through binoculars, he's now behind one of cars, he's probably checking the engine and under the car. Then I see one of agents start to inform others of something. They all raised their guns and... go towards Y/N. Then I realise.

Gwen: "It's a trap!"

I turn on my com.

Gwen: "Y/N, It's a trap! They - -"

Then something hit me in the head. Before I black out, I hear explosions and gun shots and Y/N screaming through com.

Y/N: "Gwen! They knew! They knew we were coming... Gwen!"

Then my vision turned black.

I start to opening my eyes Slowly still have a headache from whatever hit me in the head, I didn't sence a danger.

I couldn't see nothing, it was blurry because of the light is on. When I manage to adjust to the light, I see a light above me, shining only on me because rest of the room is dark.

I try to move but I can't. I turn and see I'm tied hanging by the ropes.

I swear under my breaht. I look a around and see 2 people, probably Zeta 9 agents, guarding the room, they didn't notice that I'm awake yet.

Then metal doors open. I gasp. It's Doc Ock, with new looking tenticals, with 2 of them caring Y/N, by neck and keg into the room while Ock laughs and followed by 6 agents into the room.

He looks at me.

Ock: "You're awake, good."

He trows Y/N, who rolls towards infront of me, groaning.

Now I can see fully how Y/N looks. His eyes are praticaly gone, only blood spots, his suit is torn a part, with sharp scars, purple blood coming out of them.

Ock: "Your friend here think he would easyly pass Hyrda agents, which he did, but not me."

His tentical grabs Y/N head.

Ock: "Virbanium tentical arms, more faster, more acrobatic, more accurate, great piece of science."

He lifts Y/N towards him, facing his face.

Ock: "You see, Agent Venom, you're not invinceable."

Y/N: "Tell me when I can see where you are, because I'm blind!"

Ock: "I'm not the reason why your eyes can't heal fast."

Y/N: "Did I blame you?"

Ock growls and smashes Y/N head on the ground.

Ock: "Stupid parassite."

Gwen: "Says the octupus."

He looks at me and one of his tentical grabs my head as he walks closet to me.

Ock: "Says the insect."

Y/N: "Correction: Arachnids."

He slams Y/N again.

Ock: "God, you're annoying as she is."

He turns to me.

Ock: "After I make a deal with Hydra agent here, I'll have fun with you."

He laughs evily, as I have terrifed face under my mask.

Then doors again open and through them enters a man wearing millitary uniform. He has a mustache and us probably in his 50is. He smirks as he sees Y/N.

???: "I see plan worked."

Ock: "Not at first, but capturing Ghost-Spider did make him come and rescue her."

???: "Ironic, trying to be a hero."

Y/N: "Wait, I know that voice..."

???: "Indeed you do, Y/N L/N."

Y/N: "... General Shepard."

Shepard: "Take him."

2 soliders pick Y/N up.

Shepard: "Your money is waiting you outside, Mr. Octavius."

Ock: "Glad having deal with you."

Before they go, Y/N said something.

Y/N: "I'm sorry to brother you, but.. this is not gonna happen."

They turn to Y/N.

Shepard: "Why do you think of that?"

Y/N: "I always have plan C."

Then explosions are heared outside as only light above me turns off. I can't see nothing, but I hear guns go off, kinfes flying, screams,hoping that I don't get hit.

After seconds of what I can describe as massacre, light turns on. On floor are lying Shepard, Ock and agents, some probably death as blood is liking on the floor and in middle of them, is Y/N standing, panting from action.

Y/N: "Gwen... where are you?..."

Gwen: "On your right, tighed up on ropes."

Y/N turns his head towards me and slowly walks to me, his arms raised foward as he walks over death man on floor.

He touches one of ropes. He follow it until touching my hand.

He then procceds to cut each rope with a knife, freeing me as I step on floor. I immediately hug him as he hugs back.

Y/N: "Police should arrive in less then 15 minutes." - He wisheper into my ear.

I help him walk, he putting one arms around me, guiding him towards outside where he will hide somewhere as I turn in Ock and remaing agents and Shepard to police.

As we walk towards the door, I step on something which makes a sound.

My spider-sence go off, as I pull Y/N and myself onto side, as we barely miss getting hit by the bullets trap, but I fall on the ground...and Y/N falls on me, so he's on top of me.

I blush under my mask.

Y/N: "You okay?"

Gwen: "Y-yes."

Y/N push himself up. He strech his hand to me. I take it and he helos me get up. As he walks back, he steos on something which again makes sound.

My spider-sence go off as now Y/N pulls me aside as another bullets go above us and again we're on floor, this time I'm on top of him.

I blush harder as he sighs, definetly not knowing off our closeness.

He reaches into his pockets and pulls out and little djevice. He trows it. Devices beeps until it exploded, creating little shichwave which disables all remaing traps around.

Y/N: "This should be enough."

I help him get up. We get out of the building. Outside are a lot of trucks and cars on fire as we here sirens in distance.

I help Y/N find place to hide then I went to web ock and Hydra agents inside to be turn to police.

Amazon rainforest. The weather is clear which is kinda odd and we can hear various birds singing and various other life hidding under the canopy of the rainforest.

The camera then changes it's view and slowly moves across the ground and follows the group of ants, carrying parts of the tarantula that they cought for lunch after attacking it in large numbers and tore it to pieces. The camera stops when it encounters the lifeless hand...

Hand of Night Shadow...

lying on the ground and his while body is slightly covered in mud. The camera changes it's view again, now looking at the helmet of Night Shadow as ants walk over his visor. Suddenky a bluish light turned on inside his visor.

N. Shadow: "What the!? This never happent before."
