23. Reverse (AU)
(I don't know how I didn't think of this before, but I'm doing it now! This is an AU)
So, basically, all of the greasers are Socs(ik I usually leave it as soc but that's cause I'm lazy. But from now on I'll do it) and all of the Socs are greasers. Ex: Bob Sheldon is now a greaser, and Ponyboy is a Soc now.
This means a lot of things have changed. I'll do all the work of creating the differences in our characters, how they act and how they're Socs and stuff. If your character has a crush, you can look through to find that person so you know how they act as a Soc, as well as if you play a certain character you can see how they act as a Soc.
Curtis Brothers: Their parents were rich and when they died they left the brothers an enormous fortune. Darry took care of Soda and Pony still, but he was kind of distant to them, especially Pony because of their age gap. Soda felt bad so he always talks to Pony.
-Ponyboy: He loves books even more than if he was a greaser. He has lots of options to choose from. Sometimes he sits on the roof and watches the sunset and wishes Darry was less distant. He's way more snobbish than his normal character, but he still has a good heart under the surface. He whines a lot about how unfair his life is, but he doesn't realize there are people who have it worse.
-Soda: Soda uses the money to his advantage to get girls. He works at the DX still, but not for the money. He wants to find girls there. He charms them, sleeps with them, and then abandons them. Basically, a player. But he cares about his brothers and wishes they would stop fighting. The reason he sleeps around is because he is so deeply hurt from his parents death, the downfall of Darry, and the constant fighting between Darry and Pony. He's also depressed because of Sandy.
-Darry: Darry is even colder to Pony as a Soc. He does a lot of charity work, and he owns a construction company founded using his parents fortune. He acts stone cold, like nothing can hurt him, but in the inside he's aching from the amount of responsibility that was forced on him at a young age. He couldn't just buy the pain away. He longs to be closer with his younger brothers but he just thinks he can't after all that happened.

The Cade's: Mr. and Mrs. Cade own an alcohol company and are considered some of the richest people in the world. They hide their true horrible selves underneath a disguise of fake smiling and donating money. But what really goes on in their huge mansion located on the west side of Tusla? Well, Mr. Cade gets drunk all the time, and when he's drunk he's angrier than usual. He'll beat his son, Johnny, so badly that sometimes he has to skip school. When Mr. Cade is sober he just ignores Johnny. Mrs. Cade doesn't care that any of this happens, as long as Mr. Cade doesn't target her, although he does sometimes. She'll always brush Johnny off as though he doesn't exist.
-Johnny: Johnny is way different as a Soc. He was never jumped in this version, he's just a naturally paranoid person so he does get scared easily. He's basically very angry. But, if he's your friend, he'll be nice to you, although he may occasionally get snappy. But the gang understands why because they see his bruises, which he always says that he fell or something along those lines, but they know. He has trust issues from the amount of times he was backstabbed, and people using him for status and money. He's way more of a girl magnet, and he's practically seen with a new girl every week around his arm. He never really cares for them, though. He also steals his father's alcohol and gets drunk way too often. He is still the gang's pet, even if he tries to act tough.
---
The Winston's: Mrs. Winston killed herself when the Winston siblings were very small, because she couldn't handle Mr. Winston anymore. He was emotionally abusive towards her. Mr. Winston is a kind of a mobster. He sells things on the black market, he's a drug dealer. Sometimes he even sells humans on the black market. He laundered money so he wouldn't seem suspicious. He is also a hitman. Basically, he's a monster. He gets his money illegally. He ignores his children, except for when he wants something from them, which can always change. He abuses drugs. Overall, he's horrible.
-Sarah: Oh boy, she is nothing like her greaser self. Her childhood was stolen from her, and she's beyond depressed, sometimes even considering following in her mother's footsteps. She's always bitter, and just to spite her father she gets drunk and high a lot. Like Soda, she, too, sleeps around. But she does this so she can feel like she is her own person, and not her father's puppet. She is still in school, but she skips classes frequently to go play hooky. She has a lot of issues. Sarah cries a lot, especially when she's going to sleep. Dallas really worries about her.
-Dallas: Not much has changed about him, but he's less bitter about his lifestyle. He acts pretty much the same. He's just, like Ponyboy, a snob. He's also ungrateful for how rich he is. He hates greasers with a passion, and often jumps them for no good reason. Even when he's happy. He also is more happy than his greaser self. He's self entitled and he's extremely popular with the ladies. He doesn't want a committed relationship after Sylvia "ruined his life" as he said, so he just does one night stands.
--
The Matthews: Mrs. Matthews raises Two on his own because his father left. She's an extremely nice lady, but she's a little crazy about manners and etiquette. She's also adamant that Two finds a girl to marry instantly and carry on the family tree, but other than that, she's lenient. She's the nicest of the gang's parents, and will often treat the gang as if they were her children, buying them expensive clothing and such. The reason she's rich is because of the family business she inherited from her mother. Their fabric business.
-Two-Bit: He's the exact same. Just more of a snob, again. And also less bitter. (Sorry that it's short, but he would be the same as a soc)
--
The Randles: Mr Randle is still an alcoholic, kicking Steve out every now and then, leaving him with no place to stay. Mr. Randle is rich from inheritance after his parents died, and he lets his son do whatever he wants. Steve pretty much never comes home, always out and about or crashing at one of the gang's places.
-Steve: Steve still works at the DX with Soda, but it's because he loves cars and wants to hang out with his best friend. He is never drunk, unlike the majority of his friends. He hates his father so much, to the point that he once packed his bags, punched his father in the face, and tried to run away, but he couldn't live on the streets and eventually came crawling back to Mr. Randle, who is a total push over and took him back in. Steve is one big ball of energy and anger just waiting to explode. He can't keep friends because of how easily he gets angry, and he thinks the only one that really understands him is Sodapop, his best friend.

Now for the Socs that are now greasers
Bob Sheldon: He's still a massive jerk that jumps people. Only thing is he's poor now and less privileged.
Randy (I don't remember his last name): He's the same. He's nicer, though. less privileged and less narcissistic.
Cherry: She smokes and curses a lot. She's really wild. But she's also a, well, a bítch. (Like usual... SORRY! I HATE HER.)
Marcia: the same. Just wilder.

And that is all! Kudos to you if you actually read that, haha. You only really need to read the ones you want to though.
Because I have no set scenario for this, and if you want to do this, then we'll do this AU but with any of my previous scenarios in this book. Ex: Reverse AU, and Drunk. Or, Reverse AU, and Relationship Problems. Just let me know which scenario you want to do with the reverse AU!
Or...
You can come up with a scenario based around this AU and we'll rp that.
