Still Dawn's pov

I walk down the steps and Dusk looks over at me and I stop in my tracks. "Good morning I guess..?" Dusk said. "Morning," I said. "Why are you up?" Asked Dusk. "Could say the same for you," I responded. I walk over to her and sit on the other end of the couch.

Dusks POV

Dawn sits down next to me on the couch. I wonder why she is awake... I guess I'm awake as well so... I feel a weight on my shoulder and I look over to see Dawn's face resting on my shoulder. I smiled at the fact that she trusted me. I felt face warm up slightly. Why am I blushing- good god I need to get a hold of myself...

I calm myself down and I feel the heat leave my face. I let my wings out of my hoodie and wrap Dawn in my wings. She was asleep. I rested my head on my on hers and we fell asleep just like that.

I woke up with my wings still wrapped around the sleeping figure of Dawn. I quickly hid my wings and lifted my head off of Dawns. Dawn woke up and quickly lifted her head off of my shoulder, blushing slightly. I chuckled. She blushed a bit more. "Do you have a fever? Are you okay?" I ask in a joking tone and Dawn covers up her face quickly. "S-shut up!" She stutters and snaps at me.

I quickly stopped laughing, I didnt want to ruin our relationship. She chuckled and hugged me. I freeze and hug her back. Her wings wrapped around me. "Thank you," she murmurs. "For what?" I ask with a chuckle. "For taking care of me," said the small figure wrapped in your arms. "I dont even know why I helped you. Your an avian. I'm a felinen. Why were you running anyways?" I asked. "I was being chased by other felinens, but you seemed nice enough so I trusted you," she responded. She wont trust me when she finds out...

"...Why do you trust me..? I shouldn't be trusted..." I say as I pull away from the hug. "You should be trusted! I dont see what make you say that." She responds. She has to much faith in me. "I'm just a dirty traitor. I was a traitor to my kind. To the avians I served for. To my mother and brother... the list goes on," I say, my voice cracked as I spoke and I turned away from her arms. "What did you do to them..?" She asked, starting to get worried about my self being. "By helping you, they told me to not trust anyone... how old are you?" I asked. "Uh... I'm 16," she responded slowly, being careful with her words. "I'm 16 too-" I got cut off by my wings twitching to get out of the bind my hoodie was over them.

The wings made a small movement under my hoodie. She gasped. "I- I gotta go-" i say running up the stairs as I feel tears silently running down my face. I walked into the bathroom thinking I had locked the door. I threw off my hoodie and stretched my wings. They brushed the sides of the walls. When I streached them up they hit the ceiling with a bonk. Dawn walked in as I tucked my wings back in. I stared at her as she realized what I was. "You... your a... hybrid!?" She asked/yelled. "Why didnt you tell me!?" She was full on yelling at this point.

I heard my tears gently drip onto the floor with a splash. "I... I'm sorry okay!? I didnt know what you would do to me!" I yelled at her as I backed up against the wall as she walked closer. Closing my eyes I felt the wall push against my back. I was stuck. I froze as I felt arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes slightly, to see Dawn hugging me. "I wont hurt you. You need to trust me," her voice was muffled as her head was buried in the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around her. "I'm sorry I was just scared about what was going to happen," I say gently, being careful with my words. I wrapped my wings around her.

Me and Dusk were chilling on the couch. I heard someone knock at the door. I got up, I had my hoodie back on. I opened the door not to see anyone I knew. I saw a guard for Kingdom Feather. I bowed slightly. "What can I do for you?" I ask politely. "Is your brother named Alex, and is your mother's name Daisy?" The guard asked in a monotone voice. "Yes, and yes," I say politely. "They were killed by an avian," the guard said, still with a monotone voice. "T-they cant be..." I murmur as I tear up. The guard was leaving. I shut the door. I sat down on the couch and wrapped myself up in a tight ball as a panic attack started.

I felt my throat close up, the tears started flowing down my face and onto my knees. My ears were ringing and I heard the drowned out voice of Dusk.
