The Ferris wheel rose up slowly, every second getting a little higher. It was pleasant and a breeze to handle if you sat still, which you did. Your feet were planted on the floor, still, but your fingers fidgeted excitedly.

The wheel gradually halted to a stop halfway, providing a good view of the sky out the tinted windows. It made it look darker than it actually was, but you didn't mind.

You scrambled against the window with an eager smile, witnessing the first fireworks burst in the orange sky. Soon another came, and then another.

Fireworks of all different neon colors boomed and squealed each time they set off. They came like rapid fire, easy to miss with a blink before more took over.

So pretty..

"Just in time! Look at that" Marinette pressed her phone against the window, giving adrien a view as if he were there.

"Woah.." you heard Alya gawk from the comforts of her seat, leaning over nino. He had a gloom look on his face, looking down at his lap instead of out the window.

"What's up?" Alya asked, quick to catch on how reserved he's been since they got on.

"Oh..uh..nothing. Well.." nino fumbled, at a loss for words. He gazed away from Alya nervously. You heard the whole thing, but decided it was best to let the couple sort it out.

"Woah! It's beautiful..Thank you guys" Adrien obliviously cut in, and Marinette turned the phone over to face her. You couldn't help casually peeking over her shoulder, catching a glimpse of Adriens pleased look morph into one of horror.

You felt something was wrong too. Your body was blanketed with a hard chill, the hair on your arms stood like needles. You subconsciously rubbed your arms, taking a look around you.

"Marinette! Behind you! I saw something go by" Adrien warned, causing the bluenette to quickly snap around. You did too, but nothing was to be seen.

Truthfully, you felt fear. You didn't have your alter ego to turn to because it would cause trouble to the other hero's, but your body protested against logic.

"What was it?" Adrien questioned as marinette pressed up against the glass, a bewildered look on her face. She was looking, but nothing.

"I didn't see anything..maybe it was a bird?" she question in confusion, but you shook your head.

"No way. Somethings up" you denied, and it wasn't long after till your enclosure shook. Your heartbeat pounded in your ears, tempted to deal with the problem yourself.

'No. I have to wait it out like everyone else, calm down (name)' you mentally chided, digging your fingernails into your forearm. You bounced your leg impatiently.

"Dude..please don't tell me we're gonna be stuck up here" nino sputtered fearfully, holding onto Alya tightly. The girl wasn't as shaken.

"I thought you said you were going to protect us" she replied smugly instead, a smirk on her face.

"Over there! A supervillan!" Marinette cried, spotting a spider like figure below. You hurried over and looked down as well, seeing a familiar face with a brand new look.

'Oh shit its Nora'

You could hear adriens quiet gasp from the other side of the line, and Alya rushing up to the window excitedly. Nino fearfully slinked behind, peeping over the auburn haired girl who started blogging the whole thing.

"Hey remember that time we died on a Ferris wheel?" You joked, straining a chuckle. Adrien practically felt himself pale as he heard you say that, and nino had the look on his face like he was about to faint.

"Don't worry (name), Ladybug and chat noir should be showing up any minute!" Alya kept her eyes solely on her phone, filming the situation with still hands. The fact she didn't even look at you made your face go blank.

"I think my WiFi's losing signal" you heard adrien nervously utter, hanging up the phone immediately. You would've questioned it if it weren't for the fact you were impatient to leave.

You still had that small fear of falling. Though it was small, that panic of falling still existed.

To worsen the situation, you heard noras light footsteps from below. The others likely couldn't hear it, but it was distinct and almost familiar in your ears. It came to a stop as a large hand splatted on the window.

"There you are, flyweights" Noras body fully covered the window with her efficient climb, and her new appearance was just as you expected it to be.

A spider with long arms. Multiple arms.

"So are we still dying on that Ferris wheel I was talking about..?" You murmured, everyone else gasping at her presence.

"Nora?!" They chorused, and the akumatized boxers eyes bored into you all with their white emptiness.

Creepy..

"Nora isn't here to protect you anymore" she smiled in a threatening manner, eyeing alya in particular, "I am anansi" she finished, her long arms tearing the entire cart off the Ferris wheel. It's metal squealed in protest, drowning out everyones frantic yelling.

The cart was suddenly turned sideways, knocking everyone over on the floor. You landed next to Marinette, looking at her with frantic eyes.

You tightly grabbed her, hands over her head.

She held you back just as tight, aggressive shaking taking over the cart. Everyone was knocked around like bowling pins, grunts and yelps heard the entire time.

Your eyes were tightly shut until all movement suddenly stopped. The kick of nausea you felt almost made you want to throw up.

Was it over..?

"All those arms..that's convenient, but you destroyed my scratching post" a light voice sounded, faint to your ears.

You didn't have time to feel hurt. You were glad that chat noir finally came.

"Need a hand kitty cat?" Anansi asked before taking a leap at chat, attempting to land punches on him with her multiple arms.

"(Name)..are you okay?" You heard Marinette mutter, and you groaned, "yeah, I'm fine. We need to get out before I actually puke" the bluenette shuffled from on top of you, taking a stand before gently pulling you up. You held your dizzy head, your other hand feeling around for the door to escape.

Nothing. You looked up and saw the door right over your head, so your first thought was to punch it open.

Everyone was preoccupied so you didnt hesitate to give it a swing, effectively flinging the door open. You knew it stopped with the hard bang that came with it.

You winced at the unpleasant noise, but climbed up and helped everyone out.

Alya was the last one you pulled out, the two of you on top of the broken cart.

"Alright, everyone run-" you felt uncomfortable chills strike your bones, triggering your arm hairs to stick right up.

Danger.

It all felt like slow motion with you turned your head toward the now broken Ferris wheel, witnessing anansi jumping right your way.

You glared at her before tackling Alya, both of your bodies taking a hard land on the cement.

You immediately stood and covered Alya, making the spider chuckle.

"I thought you said you were gonna protect her, cappy" she commented, gesturing to Alya who was stood behind you. Marinette and nino looked at you, but your gaze was directed at anansi.

"Nino is going to protect us. I know more than anyone that he's capable!" You barked, making the spider fully twist her body toward you. Her eyes bored into you for a mere second.

She spoke up, concluding, "You're going to be a problem" lurching down at you and Alya. It was an easy dodge, but you couldn't look too capable.

You had to let her capture you.

In a seconds time you felt anansi's arms tightly wrap around you, making you cringe. You regardless made yourself look over at the squirming Alya apologetically, then at your two friends with guilt.

"You can do this nino!" You shouted. Anansi rolled her eyes, but it wasn't like anyone could tell when they were pure white.

Sick of the cheesiness, she made off with you two as hostages, making you shut your eyes at the bumpy ride to come.

Her high leap however had a quick intermission on a pillar.

"Come and get your friends if you aren't a flyweight!" She mocked nino, making you silently seethe. Anansi jumped off the pillar, her rough movements and disgusting spider noises making you want to be saved already.

With a quick round of jumps, you heard her make a web. It was a big one by the sound of it, and with a few moves here and there you felt her arms finally stick you on it. She made sure to be firm with it, and you heard her stick Alya on as well.

You could tell she was a good few feet above you.

You finally opened your eyes.

"Enjoyed the ride?" Anansi teased, and you rolled your eyes as you replied, "yeah, 10/10 would go again" with heavy sarcasm.

"You're a stubborn flyweight, but you protected my bratty sister. It was the least I can do" Anansi bit back, but she was just as sarcastic. You heard Alya huff at the mention of 'bratty sister'.

You didn't have anything to reply with so simply stayed quiet. You stared at the messy streets of Paris, and it was only in a few minutes that you heard distant panting. You squinted are the direction it came from, eyes fixating on an out of breath nino.

"Nino! Don't stick around!" Alya warned, and you let out a snicker.

"How ironic.." you mumbled under your breath, but you shouted after, "be careful!"

"Well well well..look who it is" Anansi finally spoke, crawling over to Alya. It looked gross to see her move like an actual spider.

'Am I that gross or is it just her..'

"Anansi.." nino panted, "you let them go right now!" He yelled, pointing a threatening finger at her. He continued to hunch and hold his knees, still a panting mess.

"Oh yeah?" She jumped down, a slight tremble in result of her landing. "And how exactly is a weak little flyweight going to force me to release my prisoners?"

Nino gulped, hands curled into fists. He was fearful, yes, but for his girlfriend and supportive friend, he wanted to help them.

He needed to free them.

He let out a battle cry, raising a fist before rapidly punching at anansis torso. He didn't even graze it though, one of her long arms holding his head.

She picked him up by the head and threw him, making your heart drop into your stomach. You couldn't do anything but watch.

From a distance, you got a faint view of the hero's. You thankfully saw nino get caught and set down safely due to your 4K phone vision. You sighed in relief.

Ladybug and chat noir jumped, making their way to the scene. They arrived ready to strike, weapons held tightly in their gloved hands.

"So its 2 vs 1 now? Fine with me" Anansi hunched, her multiple arms prepared to take a swing at the two hero's. You simply looked away from the scene, the feeling like salt rubbed in an open wound.

You heard them fight, their grunts and leaps heard by your ears. They seemed to be struggling, you even knew that chat got hit.

It went from punches to throwing cars, making you shut the eyes at the sound of crashing metal and shattered glass.

You tried to ignore it. You tried to ignore it all, but you wanted to help. Your mind and body were neck to neck.

Trying to block out everyone and everything though almost worked. Tuning everything out made your heart beat calm, and breathing improve.

However the key word was almost.

You soon enough caught word of ladybug telling chat to release the prisoners. It went in one ear and took a while to come out the other.

You realized you were also a prisoner in this predicament.

Your eyes shot wide open like dinner plates, head whipping around in all directions to spot chat noir.

You dreadfully looked right below you.

There he was, climbing his way up. What made it worse was that Alya was furthest away, so you'd be quite literally stuck with him if he failed to get up there.

Chat had flashed you a smirk since he caught you staring, but you paid no mind to it.

He finally made it next to you, a foot away. That was a relief until he got stuck.

He attempted to unstick his caught hand, but the useless attempt made him roll over right next to you.

Your stuck hands nearly touched, and his head was turned to face you.

He spared a kittenish smile.

"It seems we're stuck together, beautiful" he purred, and you didn't respond.

Your mind was drifting to your fight. To when he cut you out of his life. It left a solemn look blanketing your face, and chat definitely noticed. He himself couldn't help but frown.

"We'll get out of this mess soon. Don't look so gloom" he rhymed, making you chuckle bitterly.

"Yeah..sure" you said softly, voice trailing off. Chat thought the situation was scaring you, but something else seemed to be bugging you.

It was bugging him, too.

"Is something the matter, tiny?" he flirted with ease, making a dust of pink fade your cheeks. He broke out into an accomplished smile.

"Looks like I already caught a cat.." Anansi interrupted, eyeing chat noir. She turned back to ladybug, "you'll be next, beetle" she seethed. Ladybug swung her yo-yo smugly, ready for another round of fighting. "I don't think so"

Chat noir eyed the situation unfold, witnessing ladybug get thrown. Concern flashed his dark green eyes, making him turn his head forward. "careful there, milady!"

Ladybug didn't respond, distracted by the cobweb that stuck to the foot of her onesie suit. She grunted, attempting to yank her foot out of it. It only seemed to worsen the stickiness.

In the meantime, Anansi finally turned her attention to chat, climbing her way up. You cringed, feeling yourself subconsciously squirm like prey.

As you wiggled though, you heard a soft tear. You felt one of your legs freely dangle from the giant web, which wasn't planned.

..you could unstick? The entire time you had been laying there, you made no movement except for the swivel of your head, making it a shock when you could probably get off with ease.

You immediately stuck it back on. You had to time it right.

"You're like a cat caught in a spiders web.." she commented whilst crawling her way up. Chat noir grew nervous, "technically speaking, spiders don't actually eat cats" he smoothly replied.

"I suggest we make an exception for you, kitty cat-"

"Kinda gross to be eating people, lets in fact not eat anyone" you chimed in, making chat genuinely smile you came to his defense.

"Shut it, flyweight" Anansi growled, "or would you like to be an exception too?"

Before anyone could reply, a familiar framed purple moth masked over anansis face. You heard nothing, but knew hawk moth was probably blabbering about chats miraculous.

She continued her climb and you spotted chats baton hidden behind his back. He swung it out and extended it, attempting to land a hit on the spider, but it was grabbed and thrown behind her.

You watched his last hope clutter on the ground near ladybug, who was still struggling to free herself from the spider web.

You continued to watch until she finally freed herself, summoning her obnoxiously loud lucky charm. It landed in her palm, and she seemed to know what to do.

She picked up the fallen baton and handed it to nino, telling him to distract Anansi. You were barely able to hear it, and you knew she was going somewhere by the sound of it.

Your assumption only further proven when she threw her yo-yo and reeled herself away.

You diverted your attention back to chat, who had Anansi hovering over him. Her arms nearly touched you while she was yanking his cat ears, making him whine.

"Do those even come off..?" You blurted, but felt yourself shut up afterward. He hated you. Chat hates you.

Surprisingly enough, he mustered a reply, "100% authentic and attached. I'll let you have a pull one day" you couldn't help but flush in embarrassment, however also wonder why he didn't give up on..you.

(Name). The person that's clearly shown distaste in him as well, but he only found amusement in it. Why didn't he give up on (name)..?

"Where did you hide your earrings, kitty cat?" Anansi growled, her patience running thin. You nearly snorted, but kept your compose with pursed lips and a turned head.

The purple moth outlined her face again, and you can guess to correct her mistake.

"Why didn't you just say so?!" She yelled back, making her look crazy since she looked like she spoke to air. You couldn't help but feel a laugh blow through your nose.

Your humor was deflated as soon as the same chills shocked you unexpectedly. You turned your head to look at her, spotting her hand about to take the ring of chats finger.

You also spotted nino in the corner of your eye, holding chats extended baton.

A smirk played on your lips, your leg detaching from the giant web and kicking anansi's calf inward with the help of your strength.

She was caught off guard as she yelled during her fall down, back harshly colliding with the cement. Cracks formed around her landing as well as a curve in the ground.

'I didn't trip her that hard..'

"Hey Arachnid!"

'Just in time' a smile spread on your face like butter. Chat noticed this, glancing between you and the rising Anansi. She was easily distracted by ninos comeback.

"Ah, so you're back, cappy.." she grinned, standing before him in amusement. It was as if you didn't just trip her a few seconds prior.

From a distance stared the black spotted hero, who watched the situation unfold.

"I trust you, nino" she whispered under her breath, then glancing at the giant web. A warm smile spread on her face.

"And I know I can trust you too, (name).." she added softly before heading off.

"So..what was that you had up your sleeve?" Chat turned his head to face you. You raised your brows as a way of shrugging, not willing to risk moving.

"I was wiggling my leg behind the scenes" you replied swiftly. Chat smirked, "you've been saving my tail a lot, lapine" he continued, and you rose a brow at the nickname.

You didn't understand, but decided not to question it. You didn't like acknowledging his odd flirting.

"I'm just trying to keep you from all that trouble" you went on, making chat spare a chuckle. He seemed less flirty today and more down to earth. "-But you still end up being a damsel in distress. It's only fair I be your knight in shining armor, princess~"

Nope. Still flirting.

"Princess? Nono never mind that- I'm supposed to be strong and help sometimes! I'm not important after all" you weakly smiled, but you were more so speaking for spider-man.

It still really hurt to think back to, and if anything you felt bitter about it.

Maybe you could do better as you then your alter ego though. (Name) was improving, and spider-man was unstable.

Maybe.

"What do you mean? You're so important! Why are you thinking that way?" he shot back, making you sigh.

Oh, the irony hurt.

"Uhuh, whatever you say" You replied dismissively, ignoring his questions. The current small talk was nice until you felt bitterness get the best of you.

You already messed him up once, and he already cut you out of his life because of it. You can't have him hate (name) as well.

Chat begged to differ however, enjoying your presence and fierce remarks. He liked being around you.

About to keep the conversation going, he parted his lips, but he spotted nino in the corner of his eye struggling with Anansi.

"Wow, be careful. What're you to do with that little stick?" She teased, easily avoiding ninos wonky swings. It was like watching a toddler trying to hold a baseball bat.

The felines eyes widened, whipping his head forward and calling out, "Nino, to your left- no, your right! No- the other right!" He blabbered, making you shake your head. He was horrible at giving advice.

"Nino, hold it like a bat!" You shouted, and for the most part he took the advice and gave it a good swing.

Anansi was quick to catch it before it grazed her cheek, "you're gonna hurt yourself"

She suddenly paused, hawk moths purple mask hovering over her face. You can faintly see it.

Silently, she grabbed onto the baton with nino still holding onto it and flung him to the side. You winced as you heard the baton fall, then nino after it.

"Nino!" Alya finally cried.

Anansi walked with an accomplished hum, but you saw chats baton extend after her. She turned around, narrowly escaping a hit from it. She was bewildered at the sudden attack, just enough to make you cheer.

"FUCK YEAH! GO NINO!" You yelled, making chat snicker. Anansi growled at your obnoxious cheering, and at her near limit.

"So who's the flyweight now, huh?" He mocked, holding the baton proudly. That was the arachnids last straw.

She held her multiple fists tightly, "alright big boy"

She punched the ground before getting multiple hits on nino, making you chew your bottom lip in worry.

He was weakly on the floor, pulling himself up with chats trusty stick. He managed to kneel, holding on with shaky hands.

She approached with all hands on her hips, "I suggest you stay down.." she leaned down to his level, "cappy"

Nino glared at her, gently pressing the green paw on the metal rod. It extended, hitting her square in the chin.

She wheeled back and you hooted in the background, witnessing Anansi hold a hand over her mouth.

"You're going to regret this big time!" She huffed, and nino scoffed, "you shouldn't have underestimated me, legs!" He ran at her with the baton pointed straight at her. You watched in awe.

"Your friends good at this" chat looked upward where Alya was trapped, and you continued watching him hold up.

"Yeah, but I sure hope ladybug comes back before he gets bad at it" she nervous responded, looking back and forth for the missing heroine.

As if on cue, Anansi caught ninos wild swing, holding firmly onto his baton. She picked it up, along with nino, taking a good spin before throwing him off. "Game over, time to fly legweight!"

You felt your stomach churn as nino was thrown out of sight, but weirdly enough you heard no landing.

Anansi wasted no time leaping into her web, crawling up to you and chat.

"Well..its just you and me. Almost" she eyed you, and you wiggled your fingers as a sarcastic hello.

"Don't mind me, I'm just here for the ride" you sighed out. You expected her to continue trying to get chats miraculous, however her eyes stayed on you.

"For someone with no irises you sure have a staring pROBLEM-" your voice got high pitched quickly, Anansi unexpectedly tearing you off the web and dangling you above a high fall. Your legs kicked, your eyes holding a bewildered look in them.

Chat was mortified, his brain facing a flat line. The sight of you in danger right in front of him nearly gave the hero a heart attack.

He knew he had to trust you, he said he would, but Ladybug was no where in sight. He couldn't help it.

What was he supposed to do?!

"(Name)! Put them back anansi!" He bellowed, practically hissing at the akuma. His body was aggressively straining against the web.

Alya was in shock, her mouth dry.

"If you say so" Anansi shrugged, leaning your body back toward the web teasingly before throwing you behind her. You screamed, and you heard chats distant yell.

It was all a tornado of noise, the wind pulling at you and rushing in your ears. It went by faster than anansis kidnapping. Faster then being knocked around in the cart.

Your chest was tight, eyes closed, and you made a hard landing. Rustling crunched in your ears, snaps heard.

You hesitantly opened your eyes, wondering why you haven't died. You were warm.

You frantically looked around you to see cracks of daylight peeping above you, and multiple branches awkwardly sticking to you. Clutters of green where everywhere, which could only mean..

"..I landed in a bush" you chuckled.

The chuckle then turned into laughter, making you feel even warmer.

"I'm alive and in a bush" you repeated before slowly standing up, peeking your head out. Chat noir was still well from the looks from it, and..

Nino was with ladybug?

You continued to watch, in shock. You could see the tiniest green speck interacting with nino before..

Before he transformed into a superhero. You saw Alya, now nino?

Whether you liked it or not, you kept seeing these new hero's come out of nowhere.

So far their identities were known to you, too. What happened to leaving the hero life behind?

Fate was doing nothing but pulling you back into the rabbit hole.

I literally wrote so much, so don't mind me if in the future I cut this stuff short.

Anyways here you are getting thrown off a building! Sure, ladybug didn't catch you, but you landed in a bush tho ;) sorry for any mistakes btw, this has been a long chapter.
