Izuku's POV

I am dead.

I did not realize just how much Kacchan trains. He works out almost the whole day on weekends! He keeps himself busy usually by listening to a podcast or audiobook, but since I'm there he doesn't which is really nice. But JEEZ!!! He is really muscular from how much he works out, it's crazy.

Going back to what I mean by dead, it is currently Monday morning at 5:00 am. FIVE FLIPPIN' AM!!! School doesn't even start for 3 hours. But apparently every morning he does a run, which means I do a run. Which means I'm dead and about to die again. Working out was hard enough, but this early in the morning?

"Oi, Deku. Hurry up, if we don't make it 5 miles this morning I'm going to be pissed." You hear that? Five miles, I-I can't do this for much longer. (Newsflash from my future: yes, yes you can to it for much longer) thank you for popping into my head future me, real nice knowing I have a future where I run every morning. (Future me: your welcome)

I'm insane aren't I.

But not as insane as Kacchan. Oh wait, I've been thinking for too long. "Coming Kacchan!" I run out the door and into the dark brisk outside world. To go for a long tiring run.

We make it back and I'm panting like crazy. How does he do this every morning?

"Come on nerd, we gotta get ready for school. Your uniform should be washed and on top of the laundry machine, I'll be in my room." He walks away and I hear him close his door.

I go to the bathroom to change and there's something strange about the mirror. Have I gotten... thinner? But I've eaten more food than normal, this is weird witchcraft stuff. Maybe working out has burned off the none existent fat I had.

"Hurry up Deku, your so damn slow!" Kacchan starts pounding on the door to the bathroom and I jump right out of my thoughts.

"Ah! C-coming Kacchan!"

Kacchan just clicks his young like normal and we head off to school. The walk is quiet, but it wasn't awkward. We just didn't have anything to say or talk about, well until Kacchan decides to break the beautiful sound of silence.

"Has Toga ignored you all weekend?" I nod my head, not wanting to talk about that. "That's pretty rude. Didn't you say you wanted to be friends still, even after I told you it was a mistake?"

"Yeah I did. But enough about me. You still haven't told me who your crush is. I will find out, even if it kills me." Yes, way to go Izuku! You turned the tides on him. He's stuck like a deer in headlights now, good job.

"And you're not going to find out. Now stop trying to become side tracked. What are you going to do about Toga? You'll see her at school today." Ugh, sometimes I forget I'm in school with her, I don't usually see her at lunch or in the halls so it's easy to forgot.

"I don't know. I don't usually see or talk to her during school, so I'm not sure how this would work out. Should I go up and talk to her?" I shrug then almost trip on nothing. Like always.

Then two big strong arms reach out and I instinctively hug them while trying not to fall. Kacchan yanks his arms back up and I stumble back but regain my balance. Before I can thank him he starts talking. Rude. "No, do not go up to her. Are you stupid? You said something so now you have to be patient until you hear a reply. Simple as that. It's her move on the chess board, sit back and wait until it's your turn."

"But you know how much I hate waiting and not knowing how she'll react. It would be easier to eliminate her move completely by making another move. If I tell her what I want to as quickly as possible, she would have a limited amount of reactions. If I ask her a yes or no question I limit them even more, but there's always the chance she cuts me off or does an action instead of words or even-"

"Oh my god, shut up Deku! What did I even see in you?" I- I'm sorry, did he just- huh?

"W-What did you s-say?" I stutter out barely.

"I said, what did she even see in you?" I must have misheard him or something then, wow my brain isn't working.

"Oh, I thought I heard you say something else. I must be going insane." Kacchan chuckles a bit at my comment.

"Yes, the fact that you are insane has already been established by the fact you mumble and have conversations with yourself."

"Bakubro! Did you and Midobro become friends over the weekend or something?" Kirishima came up to us from the other street. Well I guess it was common knowledge that we weren't friends, but I never lost faith in Kacchan and I being friends.

I speak up since Kacchan would probably yell, "I'm staying at Kacchan's house for a while. My mom went up north for..." I couldn't bring myself to finish.

"Family emergency." Kacchan finishes for me. Glad he knew what was happening and a better explanation than I could have given. "And don't call me that sh*tty hair."

"Don't call him that Kacchan, it's rude." I turn back to Kirishima, "since I've known him so long my mom figured he would be the best choice."

"Oh. Well I hope everything is alright with your family Midobro. And that's so cool that you get to spend time with Bakugo, he never hangs out with anyone outside of school." That's... slightly worrisome.

Todoroki joins our group now. I guess I didn't realize how close to the school we had gotten. "What are you talking about Kirishima? He's never alone after school. You either are having a one sided conversation with him or Midoriya is mumbling to him."

"Yeah but that's just walking home, I'm talking about while at home."

Kacchan had been quiet for a while until this caught his attention. "I'm trying to graduate. I don't train for five hours a day for nothing."

I- did he just say FIVE FRICKIN' HOURS?!?!?!   "I'm sorry what?"

"Oh- hahaha I forgot your going to train with me." His tone is what scares me, it's mischievous and yet rude at the same time. He begins rubbing his hands together and now I'm scared. "This'll be fun."
