↟Chapter Sixteen↡

Wow, I haven't updated in a while... This chapter also may be a bit rushed...

〜※〜※〜※〜※〜※〜※〜※

All of Class 1-A exited the bus and faced the giant building in front of them. There they met the Space Hero, Thirteen. Izuku also silently gushed about him in his head.

Thirteen led them inside and explained about the building. It was called the Unforeseen Simulation Joint or USJ. It was a giant building specifically built to help young heroes in training practice rescuing civilians. There were several zones, the Ruins Zone, filled with the remains of buildings and houses, the Landslide Zone, a sloped terrain also scattered with broken buildings, the Mountain Zone, a rocky mountainous area filled with cliffs and edges, the Conflagration Zone, an urban area that is constantly on fire, the Flood Zone, a water-filled environment simulating an area near the sea, and the Downpour Zone, another urban environment that is constantly being hit by heavy rain and strong winds. Everyone was supposed to practice rescuing others in those areas and under those conditions.

As the class muttered excitedly, Izuku overheard Aizawa asking Thirteen, "Where's All Might?"

"He'll be a little late," Thirteen said and held up three fingers. "He overdid it today."

"So he ran out of time, huh?" Izuku thought. Suddenly, he shivered and felt a dark presence. Izuku looked around and saw a dark purple spiral in front of the fountain.

At that same moment, beside him, Uraraka pointed and asked, "Sensei, what's that?"

Aizawa turned around with wide eyes.

"Woah, are those effects? This USJ place sure is going all out!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"Those are no effects," Aizawa muttered as he glared hard at the forming portal.

Thirteen extended his arms and pushed the class back. "Everyone stay back. Those are villains."

Shock ripped through the group. Everyone shrunk back in fear. A hand stretched out from the portal, followed by multiple villains.

"Thirteen, protect the kids," Aizawa said as he pulled up his goggles.

"But sensei-" Asui said, but the dark haired teacher cut her off with a raised hand.

"You all aren't ready for battle yet. I will handle them and you guys get out of here," He said sternly and jumped down the flight of stairs and towards the villains.

"But Eraserhead is a long distance fighter! He won't do well in close combat!" Izuku took an step forward but Thirteen stopped him and stepped in his way.

"No, it's not safe for you to get involved. Your main priority is to get out of here and warn the school!"

"I'm afraid that won't be happening," A dark, unfamiliar voice stated.

Everyone whirled around to see a man shrouded in dark purple mist, just like the portal.

"I am Kurogiri," He said casually. Then he looked around. "It seems All Might isn't here. Do you happen to know where he is? We brought all these people here to meet him... It'd be a shame if it was all for nothing."

"They're looking for All Might..?!"

All of a sudden, Bakugou and Kirishima jumped at him and tried to attack. Kurogiri dodged and the two hot-headed students landed behind him.

"Hasty, aren't we?" The villain said smugly.

Thirteen rushed to confront the mist man, holding out all his fingers like guns pointed at an enemy.

"Stay away from the students! I won't allow you to harm them!" He yelled.

Kurogiri hummed. "Ah, but it was they who attacked me first."

"Kaminari! Get a signal out to the school and warn them now!" Thirteen shouted.

"I can't! Something's blocking me from leaving the building!" Kaminari shouted back.

"Perhaps they have another electric user," Yaoyorozu concluded quickly. "He could be keeping any transmissions from leaving the building!"

"Then Iida! You must run to the school as soon as you get a chance! You are our last hope!"

"B-But-!" Iida hesitated.

"Please, Iida! You're the fastest one here!" Uraraka begged beside him.

"I'm not letting any of you leave," Kurogiri said, his tone of voice sending shivers down Izuku's spine.

The mist around his body split and surrounded the most of them. The ones inside the mist panicked while the ones outside screamed for them. Then all Izuku saw was black.

When the black cleared, Izuku quickly felt himself falling and let out a silent scream as he hit cold water. He grabbed at his throat as water seeped into his lungs. He shut his eyes tight and sunk deeper into the water. Then, Izuku's eyes snapped up and he looked straight at a villain with a water based quirk. The villain was coming straight at him, grinning with his shark-like teeth. He snapped at Izuku and the greenette's eyes widened in fear.

Suddenly, something wrapped around his waist and Izuku was dragged through the water and surfaced a few seconds later. He landed on a boat and broke out coughing, water spilling out his mouth and draining from his lungs. When he was done, he breathed roughly and a hand came to pat his back. Izuku looked up and saw Asui.

"You alright, Midoriya-kun?" She asked.

Izuku nodded and stood up, slightly wobbling. He looked around and saw Mineta peering over the edge of the railing with wide eyes.

"There are so many villains in there!" He exclaimed. "We'll never get out of here! We're gonna die! I'm gonna die! I haven't even started a harem yet and I was gonna-!" Mineta's shouts were muffled by Asui's hand.

"No one needed to know that, kerro," She started sternly. Then she looked to Izuku. "What are we going to do?"

Izuku walked to the edge of the boat and looked into the water. It was hard to tell with the glare, but he could see several figures swimming around impatiently in the water. Some were peeking their heads out to star at the boat. Izuku gulped. He could see at least eight villains from where he was and there were probably more on the other side of the boat.

"They're surrounding us..." Izuku thought as an idea sprung into his mind.

He turned to look at Asui who was scolding Mineta.

The situation they were in was life or death. The villains didn't seem to know their powers. From the looks of it, everyone was split around the whole entire USJ. They were dropped in locations where villains were waiting to finish them off, but they didn't take their quirks into account. Asui has a frog-like quirk so she was suited to the water and can maneuver easily unlike Izuku and Mineta. If they had known that she had a water based quirk, they probably would've sent her to Conflagration Zone or Landslide Zone instead of the Flood Zone. The villains only had strength in numbers, not particularly brains.

Izuku had a plan in mind and would need his classmates' help to put it into action. And at times like these, the freckled boy couldn't help but speak.

"I-I have an idea."

Asui and Mineta turned to the unfamiliar voice with wide eyes. The look on Izuku's face was determined and serious as he opened his mouth once agin.

"And I'll need your help."

Yay! Update! Also, thanks for 8.5k! I'm so glad that people actually like this lol :P
