The gang had arrived at the northern part of Petalburg City, so it wouldn't be long until Winter could battle Norman for a badge at last.

Right now they were in the Pokémon Centre, having their Pokémon checked.

Winter actually had both her Latias and her Latios with her.

The truth is when she last saw Norman, Norman asked Winter to battle him with her Latias in their gym battle.

"I still don't understand why dad asked you to battle him with Latias Snow." May said.

"Simple May, it isn't every day that a gym leader gets to battle with a Legendary Pokémon," Winter said, "and anyway Latias wants to have a go at fighting in a gym battle."

"Fine with me." May said.

Winter's Latias and Latios were out of their PokéBalls, but they were disguised in human forms.

Winter's Latios had grown up over the months and he now knew how to fly, swim, turn invisible, use sight-sharing with his mum Latias and he knew how to disguise himself. His disguise form was actually Winter's dad, but from when he was eight years old. Which was a surprise for her.

Winter learned from Professor Oak that Julia showed some photos to Latias and Latios of when he was younger and Latios decided to take on Leo's eight year old self for a disguised human form who has spiky red hair with pink highlights and sky-blue eyes {A/N: Imagine Namikaze Minato spiky hairstyle.} And of course Latias stuck with her Bianca form.

Latias asked Winter if she and Latios could stay out of their PokéBalls for today and Winter agreed.

Truth is she and Latios wanted to spend the day with Winter; Latios had a special bond with her, just like his mum Latias.

Right now the gang were just leaving the centre, when suddenly they got surrounded by a big crowd of people.

The people were excited about May and Max having returned to Petalburg City.

The truth is everyone in Petalburg City was fans of Norman, since he was a great gym leader.

They also knew that May and Max had been on a Pokémon journey and that May had become a Pokémon coordinator.

"Tell us May, what has it been like for you as a Pokémon coordinator?" Asked a woman, name was Rose.

"Well Rose, it was difficult and scary for me at first, especially since I had no idea of what to do or about anything of Pokémon," May admitted, "but thanks to my three friends Snow I mean Winter, Brock and Tomo, I've learnt a lot and I'm having lots of fun."

"So am I." Max said.

May and Max did introduce Winter, Brock and Tomo to everyone, but the crowd wasn't interested in them; only of May and Max.

Since May and Max were getting a lot of attention from the crowd, Winter, Tomo and Brock decided to keep out of their way for a while.

Suddenly three boys came up to Winter, Brock and Tomo.

"So you three are traveling with Max and May?" The first boy said who has brown hair and brown eyes named Kai.

"Yes that's right," Winter answered, "and we came back here to Petalburg City so that I can battle Norman for a badge."

"Well that's too bad because you won't get a badge there." The second boy said who has blonde hair and blue eyes named Willis.

Winter was annoyed, "What, why not?" She asked.

"Because only special chosen trainers can battle Norman and you're not one of them." The third boy said who has red hair and purple eyes named John.

"That is not true," Winter said calmly, same as her Pichu and Pachirisu who was about to shock them, "any trainer can battle any gym leader if they want, and I know that because I've battled gym leaders twenty times before."

Winter could easily see that these boys were jealous of her because she was travelling with May and Max, and she knew that the boys were lying about only special trainers battling Norman.

"Calling us liars are you?" Kai said, "Well now, we shall have a battle to see if you are good enough to battle Norman."

"Very well, but if I win I will battle Norman whether you like it or not." Winter said.

Latias and Latios could see that Winter was in trouble and they asked her, through telepathy, if she needed help.

'Not yet Latias and Latios,' Winter replied through telepathy, 'I'll battle these three boys, but if things do get out of hand I'll ask for your help then.'

Latios and Latias understood and they stayed in their human forms and out of the way.

Winter, Tomo, Brock and the boys went into a park of North Petalburg City, where Winter and the three boys could battle.

First up was Kai he sent out a Golduck to battle, and Winter sent out her Grovyle. Apart from Pichu, Pachirisu, Latios and Latias, Winter had Grovyle, Combusken, Marshtomp, Kirlia, Corphish, Zigzagoon, Shroomish, Taillow, Sableye and Manectric.

Kai ordered Golduck to use hydro pump, but Winter calmly ordered Grovyle to strike the hydro pump with leaf blade all the way.

Grovyle cut the hydro pump with leaf blade then he ran at amazing speed with two swipes with leaf blade, Golduck fainted on the spot.

The Willis and John got out their Pokémon, Abra and Machop, to fight next but they easily got defeat by Winter's Marshtomp and Combusken.

What they didn't know was that two boys were watching everything.

Meanwhile May and Max were still gaining lots of attention from the fans.

May was showing everyone her Torchic, Marill, Bellosom, Skitty, Plusle and Minun and was also showing off their coordinating skills.

Max was talking about his new Pokémon, his three Whismur, Spinda, Shroomish, Wingull, Seel, Shuppet and Poochyena, and that of course made the people very interested.

Just then two of the three boys that Winter battled with told everyone about a trainer wanting to battle Norman.

Rose thought of this as a serious situation and then she suggested that May should battle this trainer to teach her a lesson.

The other people agreed and May had no choice but to agree.

Back in the park, Winter, and her four Pokémon's were really growing impatient.

More kids wanted to battle Winter to stop her from thinking of challenging Norman.

Unknown to them Winter's eyes colour changed from sky blue to emerald green.

"This is getting ridiculous Brock." Tomo said to Brock, "Big sis does have the right to battle Norman in a gym battle."

"You're right," Brock said, "but these kids are too stubborn to listen. And that's not all." He pointed to Pichu and Pachirisu, "Those two, how long till they shock everyone."

Right now Winter had enough of this and she turned to her two human disguised Pokémon. "Now Latias and Latios." She whispered and released her Kirlia.

Latias and Latios transformed back into their real selves, in front of everyone, what surprised the kids a lot. Then Latias, Latios and Kirlia used psychic, which held all the kids into the air.

"That's it! Listen to me all of you!" Winter snapped, "This stupid behaviour has gone long enough!"

All her Pokémon glared at the kids, with their attacks ready which got them really, really frightened.

"I have the right to battle Norman for a gym badge and none of you have the right to stop me!"

Tomo agreed, "Yeah that's right."

At that moment Max, May and all the fans turned up.

They noticed Latias, Latios and Kirlia and all the kids hanging in the air.

"What's going on Snow?" May asked.

Winter told Latias, Latios and Kirlia to let the kids go and then she explained to Max and May that the kids kept on talking nonsense about that she wasn't suitable to battle Norman.

"But Dad wants to have a gym battle with Snow." May said.

"Yeah and anybody has the right to battle with him." Max said.

"You're right about that." A voice said from behind them all.

The voice belonged to a twelve year old kid with brown hair and grey eyes, and by the boy's side was an eleven year old boy with green hair and ice-blue eyes.

"It's Brendan Birch and Wally!" Rose gasped.

Winter and the gang had heard about Brendan and Wally from Professor Birch, so they knew that Brendan was Professor Birch's son. And Wally was Brendan's friend.

"What brings you here to Petalburg City Brendan and Wally?" Rose asked.

"We were just passing by when we heard and saw the commotion," Brendan answered, "Wally and I met up with Norman yesterday and he told us about Winter and the gang. He also told us that he couldn't wait for Winter to arrive at his gym for a gym battle."

"That's exactly what I was trying to tell these kids," Winter said crossly trying to not yell, "honestly all this, out of jealousy, just because Brock, Tomo and I are travelling with May and Max. Which is ridiculous I tell you!" She yelled the last part and glared at the kids.

Rose understood the situation and she made all the kids apologize to Winter.

Winter looked at them, "I'll give you all a warning," she said, "if you keep it up Norman gym will have a bad reputation and I'm sure that Norman won't like it if you keep terrorizing those who wish to challenge him." Her eyes changed back to sky blue unknowingly to anyone.

The kids apologized for their behaviour and the grownups made them promise not to do what they did with Winter again.

Then all the fans went back to their homes, leaving the gang with Brendan and Wally.

Winter thanked Brendan and Wally for backing her up, any longer Pichu would of fried the kids.

"Thank nothing of it Winter," Brendan said, "I'm glad we showed up before any more trouble started."

"I can't believe that you have a Latias and a Latios Winter." Wally said who couldn't keep his eyes off the Eon Pokémon.

"Yeah, somethings happened." Winter said picking up her two electric Pokémon's and petting them.

"So what are you two doing back here in Hoenn?" Max asked Brendan and Wally, "last thing I heard about you two was that after you finished competing in the Hoenn league a year ago you went to a different region for a journey."

"That's right we did," Wally answered, "but we decided to come back here to see our families for a while."

"I understand that because I always go back home to see my mum after I finish a journey." Winter said with a smile.

"Yes me too," Brendan said, "truth is she worries about me and my dad all the time, especially when dad is on one of his research trips."

The gang understood that, after all Professor Birch had the habit of getting into trouble with wild Pokémon all the time.

"I must ask you Winter. Are you going to use Latias and Latios in your gym battle with Norman?" Wally asked.

"I'll be using Latias yes because Norman asked me to challenge him with Latias," Winter answered, "but Latios isn't ready for a gym battle yet; he's still getting used to battling trainers at the moment."

Brendan and Wally asked the gang if they could join them at the gym; truth is they were interested in watching Winter using Latias in the gym battle.

The gang saw nothing wrong with that and agreed to let Brendan and Wally join them.

So with all the troubles over and done with, Brendan, Wally and the gang made their way towards the southern part of Petalburg City, where Winter could battle Norman.

It wasn't long when the gang made it to Max and May's house. Caroline and Norman welcomed Max and May at once, as well as Winter, Tomo, Brock and Wally and Brendan.

"Well Snow, I take it you are ready to battle me right?" Norman asked using his daughter nickname for her.

"You bet I am," Winter answered, "and I am going to earn this gym's badge."

"Pichu!" "Chipa!" Pichu and Pachirisu cheered.

May felt excited about this because she had never watched her dad's gym battles before, but she felt nervous for Winter because she knew that her dad was strong. "I can't wait to see how this battle will turn out." She said.

"I know how it will turn out; dad will win of course." Max said confidently.

Max didn't exactly believe that Winter had the skill to defeat dad; he too had heard about his dad being a very strong gym leader, but he seem to forget for a second that Winter is Luna Mew Light.

Winter and Norman took their places on the gym's battlefield.

Brock, Tomo, May, Max, Brendan and Wally sat down on the gym's seats.

Caroline joined them too because she wanted to watch the match between Winter and Norman.

Norman's gym assistant, Kenny, became the referee and he declared the match was a three on three Pokémon battle and then he told it to begin.

Norman sent out a Slakoth to battle with first.

Slakoth was the pre-evolved form of Vigoroth.

Winter sent out Shroomish to battle, which was a shock for everyone expect for Tomo and Brock.

"Why did Winter sent out Shroomish? Slakoth is a normal type while Shroomish is a grass type, she should've used Combusken." Max asked.

Brock and Tomo chuckled.

"You seem to forget Max that Winter is a trainer that like to have the surprise attack." Brock said.

"Brock is right." Tomo added, "Big sis must have a plan for using Shroomish."

"Big sis?" Brendan and Wally said confused.

Tomo covered his mouth realising what he said, "Oh." He laugh nervously.

They all turned back to the match quickly hearing an attack.

"Okay Shroomish let's start this off with tackle." Winter said.

Shroomish ran at incredible fast speed surprising Norman and his Slakoth, whiling shocking Kenny, Coarline, Brendan, Wally, May and Max.

Shroomish hit Slakoth head on into the wall behind Norman.

"Incredible." Wally said.

"Yeah, I never seen a Shroomish move that fast before." Brendan stated.

Slakoth got out of the wall and moved feeling weaker from the tackle, "Slakoth are you okay?" Norman asked his small monkey Pokémon, Slakoth nodded, 'Wow, I didn't expect that to happen so quickly.' He thought, 'But then again this is Luna Mew Light I'm battling.' "Okay Slakoth use shadow ball."

Slakoth fired a shadow from his mouth and heading towards Shroomish, Winter told Shroomish to counter it with energy ball.

The two energy attack hit each other creating a blast of smoke.

"Not bad." Norman commented.

Winter chuckled, "This is only the beginning Norman for Shroomish." She said, "Isn't that right Shroomish?"

Shroomish nodded and he began to glow, he grew taller, having a kangaroo-like body, he has a mushroom-like green cap on its head with visible gills and a round, berry or oak-like growth in both side. It's head, neck and long tail are tan, chest and lower body are green, mouth is beak-like and there are petal-like arrangement of extensions from its shoulder, feet and hands have two red claw each and at the end of its tail there are seed clusters.

"Breloom!" It cried out.

"No way Shroomish evolved into Breloom!" Max cried out.

Breloom, the Mushroom Pokémon.
The evolved form of Shroomish. Its excellent footwork gets it within striking distance of its opponent where it unleashes a barrage of punches.

"Now this is difficult." Brock said.

"Brock is right Breloom is a fight type as well now." Brendan pointed out. "And it's super effective against normal type."

"Well, this was unexpected but Slakoth use blizzard." Norman ordered.

Slakoth blew blizzard from its mouth and heading towards Breloom.

Winter smirked, "Breloom use mach punch." She said.

Breloom claws glowed white and he dodge the blizzard attack, he ran at incredible speed hitting Slakoth in the stomach twice.

"Now Breloom use sky uppercut." Winter said. Breloom struck Slakoth hard with sky uppercut and then Slakoth fainted, earning Winter the first victory.

"No way, dad's Slakoth lost." Max said in disbelief.

"It's all right Max, the battle is just getting started." Caroline assured him, "But I must say Winter is impressive."

"She's right." Wally said, "Its like she knew that Shroomish will evolve."

"That's right." Brendan said, "the battle will start to get harder now. And that's not all she kind off remind me of someone."

Brock and Tomo raised an eyebrow.

"Really who?" Tomo asked.

"Luna Mew Light that's who." Brendan answered.

Winter chocked, not expecting for him to say that.

While Brock, Tomo, May, Max and Coarline shifted a bit uneasy.

"Rumours are saying that she's in Hoenn Region but they can't seem to find her."

"Yeah, I heard about that too, it's quite amazing for someone as young as her to win two league conferences in a row, without losing a single Pokémon." Wally said, "To be honest I'll would like to meet her. I watched all her battles and she's a really good strategist, off how she easily think of a situation to reserve or use the opponents Pokémon attack back at them or power up her Pokémon."

Brendan nodded agreeing with his friends word, "Yep definitely awesome."

Everyone was quite, till Norman returned Slakoth and sent out Vigoroth next for the battle to continue.

Winter returned Breloom and sent out Sableye into battle against the tall monkey Pokémon.

"Start it off with scratch Vigoroth." Norman said. Vigoroth claws glowed and it ran headed towards Sableye with its claw up.

"Sableye use brick break to counter." Winter said.

Vigoroth and Sableye were going at each other with their claws.

"What a fight," Wally said who was impressed, "Winter is quite a battler."

"I agree with you on that Wally," Brendan said, "I have never seen a Pokémon trainer like Winter."

"Let me tell you something." Brock smiled, "Sky is the type of trainer that you should never underestimate no matter what."

Sableye and Vigoroth kept on going at each other with their claws, but then Vigoroth managed to strike Sableye with its scratch attack.

"Now use your crush claw Vigoroth." Norman said.

Vigoroth was about to strike hard with crush claw at Sableye but Winter told Sableye to use shadow claw. The two claws hit each other and they both slide back to there trainers area side.

"Woah." Wally said amazed.

"Woah is right. She quickly counter it in the position her Sableye was in." Brendan commented on the style.

"Vigoroth use flamethrower." Norman said. Vigoroth blew fired from its mouth towards Sableye.

"Sableye night shade." Sableye fired a dark zig zap beam from his eyes, hitting the flamethrower, creating a smoke on the field, "Now shadow sneak." Sableye vanished into the floor.

When the smoke cleared everyone only saw Vigoroth on the field, Sableye was no where to be seen.

"Where is Sableye?" Max asked.

"Good question." May said looking around the field.

"Vigoroth keep an eye out for Sableye, who knows when Sableye is going to appear." Norman warned and Vigoroth nodded staying in guard.

"Sableye now!" Winter called out. Sableye appeared behind Vigoroth and his arm glowed white hitting Vigoroth directly with a brick break attack.

Vigoroth fainted.

"No way." Max said in disbelief.

"Incredible, she used the ghost Pokémon advantage of its disappearance to sneak up on Vigoroth." Brendan said.

"Wow, I never seen anyone push your father this far before." Coarline spoke up.

"Now she really reminds me of Luna." Wally stated.

Norman returned Vigoroth, "Well that's was a surprise. But I never expected the less of Luna Mew Light." He said.

"What?!" Brendan and Wally shouted shocked.

"No way!" Wally shouted out in surprise and pointed at the white haired girl, "She's Luna Mew Light in person?"

"Yeah." Brock chuckled nervously, "We didn't really want to say anything about her because she is in disguise now due to the fact that reporters were there." He explained.

"Big sister wanted to travel in peace and if she wasn't in disguise now, reporters and fans will never let her travel in peace or us." Tomo continued.

Brendan and Wally nodded understanding, being famous comes with annoying reporters and fans.

Since Winter doesn't like being centre of attention she avoids them by hiding herself.

Winter returned Sableye and took out another PokéBall. "Hey Norman I've kept the promise." She said and sent out Latias.

"I have been waiting for this moment of battling your Latias Luna." Norman smiled.

Brock, Tomo, Max, May, Brendan and Wally couldn't see to this battle, especially since Winter was using Latias, Caroline couldn't wait to see this last battle either.

Norman's last Pokémon was a Pokémon that looked like a gorilla.

"That's dad's Slaking!" Max said excitedly.

Tomo looked at Slaking on his pokedex:
Slaking, the Lazy Pokémon.
The evolved form of Vigoroth. The world's laziest Pokémon. When it is lounging, it is actually saving energy for striking back.

"That Slaking doesn't look lazy to me." Tomo stated. He was right; Norman's Slaking was pounding its chest a lot, eager for a fight.

"It must be all energized up then." Brock commented, "Its just like Sky Slaking, when ever he is about to battle he wound do the same thing."

"Snow has a Slaking as well?" May questioned.

"Yeah, she actually has all the evolution line of Slakoth. She used Slaking in one of her conference too."

"Luna caught them in Kanto, of the Safari Zone." Tomo explained more.

Winter commanded Latias to start off with mist ball, and Slakoth got hit by it.

"Okay Slaking use focus punch." Norman said.

Slaking fist glowed white punched Latias rather hard. "Don't think so, okay Latias use steel wing." Winter said.

Latias' wings glowed white and then she struck Slaking multiple times with steel wing.

"Slaking fight back with scratch." Norman said.

Slaking fought back with scratch while Latias was still fighting with steel wing.

"Man this is a good battle," Brendan stated, "and Norman's Slaking is doing well against a legendary Pokémon."

"Yeah, and Latias is putting up a good fight too." Wally said.

Winter told Latias to use psychic, and Slaking was lifted off into the air. "Now use giga impact Latias." She said.

While Slaking was still being held in the air, Latias' body became surrounded by orange and purple streaks and then she flew into Slaking.

Slaking got really hurt by that attack and fainted.

So Winter was the winner of the gym match.

Winter hugged and stroked Latias happily for winning the match, and returned her for a rest. Norman thanked his Slaking for a great battle.

Then Norman thanked Winter for a great battle and handed him the Balance Badge. The Balance Badge was black and white and in the shape of a well-balanced barbell. Brendan and Wally both agreed that, that was a great match and so did Brock and Tomo.

"Latias did great for her first gym battle." Brock smiled.

May was amazed too that Winter defeated her dad and Caroline thought it was a great battle too.

The only one that wasn't happy about this battle was Max; he couldn't that his dad lost. It seemed Max thought that his dad was supposed to be undefeatable. "I won't accept this battle!" Max shouted and he ran off in tears.

"What on earth is wrong with Max?" May asked, who was speechless at Max's behaviour.

"He's upset because Norman lost the gym battle," Brock explained, "the truth is my little siblings and I once acted like that when we all saw dad lose a gym battle for the first time. And our dad had to explain to all of us that it doesn't matter whether the gym leader loses or wins and other things like that."

"So what should we do about Max?" May asked worriedly.

"Let Norman talk to Max." Winter suggested, "He's a gym leader like Brock so he'll be able to explain to Max about this."

Norman nodded, "Snow is right, I'll talk to him." He told everyone to wait in the house; he wished to talk to Max alone.

Max was sulking in a big greenhouse what belonged to Norman. "I can't believe it," he said tearfully, "dad is supposed to be undefeatable. Winter only won because she used Latias, it wasn't a fair fight."

"Yes it was Max." Norman said. Norman had entered the greenhouse to talk to Max. "Max losing is important as winning," Norman said a bit sternly, "losing a battle teaches a gym leader just like it teaches Pokémon trainers, as well as helping them get stronger. It was not only Latias that helped Snow win the match, both her Breloom and her Sableye helped out too. Snow and her Pokémon gave me the best Pokémon battle that I ever had. And I could also tell that Snow is indeed a strong trainer with or without Legendary Pokémon, like that Pichu of hers. Listen Max I don't care if I win or lose. I just enjoy being a gym leader no matter what."

Max listened to Norman carefully and understood that his dad was right. He wiped away his tears and apologized to his dad.

Norman was happy and relieved that Max now understood and they went back into the house where everyone was waiting for them.

After everything was settled, Norman and Caroline suggested that the gang stayed the night.

Of course the gang agreed, especially May and Max because they wanted to talk about what had happened on their journey so far.

Norman and Caroline also asked Wally and Brendan if they wanted to stay too, but Brendan and Wally declined the offer.

Brendan explained that he and Wally were heading to Little Root Town, "If I don't go home soon, I think my mum would burst from waiting for me to arrive home." He chuckled.

Everyone understood so they said good bye to Brendan and Wally.

"I hope we get to meet again soon Brendan." Winter smiled.

"Same here Luna." Brendan smiled, "But I would like to have a battle as well. Wintet nodded.

So Brendan and Wally set off for Little Root Town, while the gang spent the night in May and Max's house.

A lot of things happened with the gang -ever since they left Petalburg City for their next destination.

First the gang had visited a place called the forbidden forest. It was called that because it was really a Nature Preserve for grass type Pokémon.

The villagers, who guarded the place, explained that long ago people went overboard with catching the wild grass Pokémon and they nearly destroyed the forest in the process.

So the forest was boarded up and it had been forbidden for people to ever go in there.

But while the gang was there, a group of poachers snuck into the forest to grab some grass Pokémon.

But the gang bravely fought off the poachers with their Pokémon and the forest became safe again.

In the process May bonded with a female Bulbasaur and captured it for herself.

Next Tomo had come across an abandoned Numel, a fire and ground type Pokémon that looked like a camel, and caught it for him-self.

Winter caught herself a Whiscash, S.Zangoose and to the gang surprise it wasn't like how it's nature to fight a Seviper when one is near by and a Castform.

Last of all the gang had run into Jessie, James and Meowth again, who were planning to try to steal their Pokémon again.

The gang ended up battling Team Rocket with their Pokémon, and in the process Winter's Nuzleaf, Zigzagoon, S.Bagon and S.Trapinch all evolved into Shiftry, Linoone, S.Shelgon and S.Vibrava.

So lots of things did happen, and right now the gang were taking a rest at a Pokémon Centre.

Their next destination was a town called Rubello Town and there was a Pokémon contest being held there the day after tomorrow.

Rubello town was fifteen miles from the Pokémon Centre, so the gang had time to relax for a while.

"Hey Snow." Winter looked at May, "Can you help me train for the next Contest?" She asked.

"Sure May." Winter replied.

The coordinators got up and left the centre to a forest near by with a beautiful lake, Winter released her Surskit, Huntail and Gorebyss into the lake, she also let out Riolu, S.Aron, Taillow, S.Zangoose, Castform, Combusken, Marshtomp, Grovyle and Dustox. Pichu and Pachirisu also joined in on all her Pokémon.

"You know it still amaze me that you have all kind of Pokémon." May said.

"I know what you mean." Max said admiring the shiny.

Winter smiled, "Alright May shouldn't we work on her contest now." She said.

May nodded, "Yeah."

"Then Tomo, Max and I will be the judge." Brock said.

"Ok." May and Winter said.

"What do you want to work on?" Winter asked.

"Her battles I suggest." Max suggested out.

"I think Max is right. I need to work on it." May sulked, "How do you combine Pokémon moves Snow?"

Winter raised an eyebrow, "From my battle experience, I also made some combination or fusion moves with them. I made; Nature ball, Thunder-tail, Aqua Ball, Fire Strike, Ice Blizzard and my new one is Aqua Blast."

"Woah." Max and May said.

"Can you show some please?" May begged.

"Sure. Hey Surskit, Gorebyss, Pachirisu and Combusken! I need you guys for something!" Winter called out.

"Surskit." "Gorebyss." Chipa." "Combusken."

"May wanted to see the fusion combination I made so can you guys do it." She asked.

They nodded.

"Alright first Surskit Aqua Ball!" Surkit nodded and using water pulse, opened her mouth and launched a bubble beam and bubble attack together.

"Next Pachirisu, Thunder-tail!" Pachirisu nodded and gathered an large amount of electricity into her tail and the tail glowed with electric static, she slammed it down releasing the electricity.

"Sweet, Combusken Fire Strike!" Combusken fired a fire blast, following up with a fire spin and ember attack making the flames instead.

"Last one Gorebyss lets do this, Aqua Blast!" Gorebyss launched a hydro pump, following it up with aqua jet behind making the water increase its speed and power.

"That's it!" Winter shouted out happily that her new fusion move worked. "What do you guys think?"

Max, May, Brock and Tomo looked at her speechless.

"I-I have no words for that amazing, awesome moves." May said in shock.

The three boys nodded.

"There's no words to describe that." Brock said.

Winters Pokémon laugh, along with Winter seeing all their face expression.

After snapping out of Winter's fusion moves, May decide to try her luck new performance and battle strategies she saw but in her own way.

Hours has past and it was night, May has achieved what she wanted expect for the fusion moves it never turned right when she tried it.

"Argh! Why can't I do it?!" May yelled in frustration.

"Calm down May." Winter said walking up to her after returning all her Pokémon back to their PokéBalls. "You too stress out about this, I suggest we rest tonight and continue tomorrow. Okay?"

"She's right you know." Max agreed.

"If too frustrated your Pokémon can sense their trainers emotion and it's not good." Brock pointed out.

"Let's head back." Tomo said.

May sigh and nodded, "Alright." She returned all her Pokémon's back.

The next day May got up nice and early, much to Winter's dislike and her Pokémon.

"May there's something call 'People love to sleep in a bit more.'" Winter looked at the time on the clock and groaned, "It's only 6, for Arcerus sake May, let me sleep a bit till 8 or 9." She tossed the blanket over her head and snoozes off into the warm bed.

"But Luna, I want to continue my battles." May sigh when she got not replied back. "Fine maybe a couple of hours sleep won't hurt anybody." She went back to her bed and slept again.

After 2 extra hours of sleep, Winter woke up and began to stretch out her tired muscle, "Now that was a nice nap." She said and went to the bathroom to wash herself up.

Winter came back out of the bathroom feeling refreshed and ready to go, looking back at her two electric type they were awake and ready to go as well.

"Pichu!" "Chipa!" They greeted.

"Morning." She looked at May and sigh, "May you have to wake up now."

"Nn, a few more minutes." May groaned, "I see you after."

"Okay." Pichu and Pachirisu jumped onto Winter's shoulder. "Let's go." She left her room and went to the cafeteria seeing Brock, Tomo and Max awake and eating.

"Morning." The boys greeted.

"Good morning." She smiled.

Max looked around not seeing May, "Where's May?"

"She still sleeping."

"Really?"

"Yeah, first she woke me up at 6 but I wanted to stay in a bit more and now she's having trouble waking up."

"Sounds like May." Max said.

"Big sis you should get something to eat." Tomo said.

"I will." Winter said and walked off grabbing some breakfast.

After an hour of eating, May woke up and started to eat with them.

The Pokémon Centre doors slides opened showing a saw a male teenage about 15-16 years old with spiky black hair, blue eyes, wearing a blue coat underneath is a black long sleeve shirt with a pattern or symbol showing in front, blue pants, black shoes and a blue hat or cap on his head, beside him is a Lucario.

Winter raised an eyebrow, sensing a lot of Aura coming from him and Lucario. 'Now this is interesting and amazing.' She thought amused.

"Hey, check it out guys a Lucario." Max said.

"A Lucario, huh?" May said.

May had a looked of the Pokémon on her PokéDex:
Lucario, the Aura Pokémon.
The evolved form of Riolu. By sensing the aura of its opponents, Lucario can read their thoughts and movements.

"Amazing." May said. "So Snow's Rilou will evolve into Lucario."

Winter shook her head, "No, my Rilou doesn't want to evolve."

Unknown to them that the teen boy and his Lucario are listening, they too sense a powerful Aura coming from the white greened haired girl and something else that is powerful within her.

"I shouldn't be surprised." Brock chuckled, "Most of Sky's Pokémon isn't fully evolved either."

"Not my choice. It's there's after all." Winter stated bluntly.

"Ha, that big sis for ya." Tomo laugh, "A blunt reply."

The gang laugh, while Winter pouted and ignore them.

Winter turned around sensing someone was watching them, sky-blue eyes clashed with blue eyes.

Winter blushed deeply realising that she was staring at the person too long, 'Wahhh!! Stupid, stupid Luna stop staring. Though that person was good look-... No bad Luna!' She mentally screamed and scolded herself, 'Wahh!!'

The teen was also having the some problem as her at the moment, 'Why did I stare at her?!' He mentally screamed, 'I just meet her! Whats worst I don't even know her.'

His Lucario saw his master/ trainer reaction same with the girl and smirked.

Where in Johto and somewhere else two people sense something odd.

'Why do I get the feeling that someone is eyeing Luna.' They both frown with a thought.

"Snow." May waved a hand in front of Winter's face, "Snow!"

"Y-Yeah." Winter said.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing. Why?"

"Your spacing out." Brock said.

"S-sorry." Winter bowed her head down.

"Anyway. Come on we have to continue my training." May grabbed Winter's arm and dragged her to the lake area.

"Pichu!" Chipa!" Pichu and Pachirisu cried out chasing after her.

The three boys got up from there seat and sigh at May.

"Come on we should go or else May will be mad." Max said and ran out with Tomo.

"Kids these they so energetic." Brock sigh and went after them.

"Did you sense that Lucario?" The teen boy asked his partner.

"Yes I did." Lucario answered telepathy, "The girl with white hair has a strong Aura around her, also a great power within her hidden away. What do you think Master?"

The teen boy identified as Riley, who was an Aura Guardian at a young age in training. "I'm not sure. She's using her Aura to block whatever power is within her. Let's go and watch them."

Lucario nodded, "Of course."

Riley and Lucario followed the strong aura and they both arrived at a beautiful lake area, filled with water Pokémon and other Pokémon's that lived there.

They faced noticing the gang who are battling each other in a Pokémon battle, while the other Pokémon's watched in interest.

"Alright Skitty assist." May called out. The assist attack became an silver wind attack, heading towards the green yellow dog like Pokémon.

"Electrike dodge it and thunder fang go!" Tomo cried out. Electrike dodge the wind and charge in toward the pink kitty Pokémon with an electric fang, biting Skitty directly making him faint.

"Oh no Skitty." May said as her Pokémon fainted from the attack.

"That's the match!" Brock called, "Skitty is unable to battle. The winner is Tomo and Electrike!" He declared.

"Wahoo! We won!" Tomo cheered hugging Electrike.

"Not bad." Max said clapping.

"Not bad for both of them Max." Winter pointed out, "May lasted longer than before and Tomo is improving a lot on his battling."

"Is that way you had May and Tomo battle each other to gain experience?" Max realise.

"Yes."

"Rio!" Riolu called out. "Rio, rio, rio, rio!"

Winter smiled and got up from the ground, "Seems like Riolu wants a battle as well." She translated also, "Riolu aura sphere!" She pointed toward bush.

Riolu nodded and launched an aura sphere attack that the bush two figure jumped out dodging the attack.

"A Riolu that can use aura sphere. But that was close." Riley sighs. "How did you know?"

"I sense your aura since you arrived." Winter replied.

"You can sense people aura?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yes, but I don't use it often."

"Who are you?" Tomo asked walking up to his sister side.

"I'm Riley and this is my partner Lucario." He introduced.

"I'm Winter."

"Max."

"Tomo."

"May."

"And I'm Brock."

"So mind telling us why you followed us?" Max asked, "There's not much people who knows this lake location."

"Sorry, I was interested in the powerful aura I was sensing from Winter." Riley answered.

Everyone froze and looked at him in shock.

"Master there someone coming this way." Lucario said.

"No way Lucario is using telepathy." Max said in disbelief.

Before anyone could say anything else Team Rocket appeared with a giant original Meowth hot air balloon. Giant nets was launched to all the gang Pokémon's, including the wild and Riley Pokémon.

"Oh no." May said. "Skitty, Beautifly, Torchic, Swablu, Bulbasaur!"

"Lucario!" Riley shouted.

Winter face palm herself, "Not again."

"Ahahaha! Twerp we meet again." Jessie said.

"Yeah it's not like we want to meet or see you guys again." Brock stated in a sarcastic voice which made them laugh.

"Quiet twerp! Today is the day you lost all your Pokémon." James said.

"Hey wait a minute where is the white haired twerp Pokémon's?" Meowth asked.

"A talking Meowth?!" Riley said astonished.

"Meowth is right." Jessie said looking around, "Hey white haired twerp where are your Pokémon's?!"

Winter smiled, "Below you." She said.

Team Rocket looked over the basket and seeing a burst of water shot out.

"What?!" Team Rocket shouted in surprise, "What's this?!"

"Whiscash ice beam!" She shouted out. Whiscash fired a ice beam and it hit Team Rocket balloon making it fall and crash to the ground. "Kirlia use physic to remove the net off everyone." Kirlia nodded and his eyes glowed blue, lifting up all the nets that trapped the Pokémon's.

"Alright Luna!" Tomo and Max cheered, happy to get their Pokémon back.

"Lucario are you alright?" Riley asked.

Lucario nodded, "Yes Master I am."

Team Rocket coughed and got out of the ground, getting up with frustration.

"That twerp will pay!" Jessie shouted. "Loudred go!" Her large purple yellow Pokémon go ready to fight.

"Roselia go!" James said. His rose Pokémon go ready as well.

Winter stepped forward with her Riou and Riley stepped in to join.

"If you don't mind." Riley said. "I like to join in."

Winter smiled, "Of course not. Let's battle." She said.

"Yes!" "Rio!" Lucario and Riolu said.

"Loudred use supersonic!" Jessie commanded.

"Roselia use magical leaf!" James commanded.

"Riolu dodge it and use force palm." Winter said calmly.

"Lucario dodge it as well and use bone rush." Riley said.

Riolu and Lucario tagged team both dodging the supersonic and magical leaf. Lucario created a bone pole and Riolu jumped on it, he threw Riolu towards Loudred and Riolu used force palm knocking him out. Lucario caught up to Roselia and knocked it out with a swing of its bone rush attack, making it faint.

"Amazing." Brock said watching, "Lucario and Riolu are in sync with each other."

"Does it have something to do with aura?" Tomo asked, "After all they are both Aura Pokémon's."

"Could be. Who knows."

"Come on!" Meowth cheered. "Kick those twerps butt!"

Jessie cried out in anger, "Wingull out and centre!" She threw out another PokéBall showing a seagull Pokémon next. "Use air slash!"

Both Lucario and Riolu dodge it, but the air slash was heading towards Winter.

Riley eyes widen, along with the rest of the gang.

"Luna!" "Mew!" "Pichu!" "Rio!" "Chipa!" Everyone shouted out in worry, then sigh in relief seeing her out off danger.

Before the attack hit, Riley tackled her out off the way, saving her from the air slash attack.

Winter groaned, "Ouch."

"You okay?" Riley asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm alright." Winter assured, looking up at the blue eyes they showed worried in them. "Thanks for the save Riley." She smiled.

Riley smiled back, "No problem." Looking at the sky-blue eyes in relief of the attack gone.

"Riolu! / Lucario! Aura sphere and blast them off!" Both aura users shouted.

The two aura Pokémon nodded and launched a aura sphere attack, the two aura sphere combined into each tower making it larger and hitting Wingull and back at Team Rocket, blasting them off into the sky.

"Team Rocket is blasting off again!"

"Good riddance." May huffed.

"Yeah." Tomo and Max agreed.

The other walked towards Winter and Riley, seeing Riley holding out a hand which Winter grabbed getting up of the ground.

But they also saw something that interested them all, it was the red face or blush.

May grinned, "Oh, Snow got a crush." She whispered.

"That's nice." Tomo smiled.

After the events of Team Rocket was over, it was time for the gang to go and part was with Riley and his Lucario, but not before telling the truth about Luna Mew Light and the Green Orb.

To Riley surprised he wasn't really expected to meet someone with an ancient orb within them, but he can understand were that hidden power is coming from and he promised that he'll keep it a secret.

"Well, see ya Riley." Winter said, "Hope we all meet again."

Riley smiled, "Yeah and maybe we will."

"Bye." The gang said.

"Bye. / Bye." Riley and Lucario said back.

The gang took off in the direction were Rubello City, waving goodbye to their new friend and Aura guardian.

"So Master... you like her?" Lucario asked suddenly.

Riley blushed, "W-What? W-Who?"

Lucario snickered, "Luna. I saw you blush Master when you looked at her."

"I-I don't know, she is pretty, beautiful and kind out of most girls her age." Riley blushed deepen when he realise what he said.

"You should tell her Master, next time you meet her."

"What happens if she doesn't like me?"

"No worries Master, she likes you too." Riley looked at his partner, "I saw her blush when she first saw you and when you where holding her hand."

Riley smiled, "Maybe I will, next time we meet again." He looked at the road the gang left.

Unknown to him, Winter was getting teased by May, saying the same thing.

Poor Winter who was blushing badly and stuttering.

Well, all ends well.

I'm really sorry for the long, long wait!!
I was stuck and busy with TAFé work.

- Well Winter/Luna meet with Riley, he didn't ask her yet but they shown feeling about each other and the Lucario's as well.
Don't worry next time they meet will be in the movie part and will confess to each other as well. And about the part my not really good that writing love scenes so bare with me in those parts.

1. I really didn't like it how Ash had to stand up to the fans that much.

2. I find it pity that the gang didn't meet Brendan and Wally in the anime.
P.s: The gang will meet up with Brendan and Wally again later.

3. Don't worry Winter l/ Luna will meet Lucas in the Sinnoh Region.

4. I know that some of you notice how her eyes changed from sky blue to emerald green. It's due to Green Orb staying within her for so long now, most people ignore it or not.
