Chapter 6 ~ Ferocity

With enough rage to fill Phyrria, it would be especially hard to keep still in silent, dark cave with other dragons Ferocity could easily shred.

"Wait here." The founder of the Dark Ones, a Rainwing had said. Then he just promptly flew off, leaving her stuck in a cave. All her insanity was slowing building up on the outside of her ruby red scales. Her  claws itched for the dagger in her wristband. She needed to kill something to cheer her up for waiting forever.

"Hey." Said a charming (and also kind of annoying) voice. She turned with a snort to see the Sandwing Hunter.

"Is that thingy," he pointed to her medallion, the thing she would not ever take off, "How so I say it?" He leaned closer mischievously, "Important?"

"Back off." Said the Mudwing, Mosquito, every since the yellow-green-brown mudwing had laid eyes on her, all he's been trying to do was impress and flirt with her.

"I can take care of myself!" She hissed at him through gritted teeth. Oh how irritating he was. It was seriously getting on her nerves.

"Come on, we've known each other for long enough." Hunter shrugged, the dim light reflecting on his medium yellow scales. His amber eyes glowed with trouble.

"No we haven't!" Ferocity stomped her foot on the stony ground.

"We're just waiting for one more, a Leafwing I think, we should all stop acting like strangers." Hunter flicked his barbed tail back and forth.

"You are a stranger!" Ferocity felt her voice rising, her scales were itching to stab this Sandwing.

"Shut up everyone." She whirled to face the new rather gentle voice. It was that Seawing Trench, she was standing bolt upright, narrowing her eyes at her and Mosquito, not even glancing at Hunter, who had started this whole thing and also apparently saved her at one point.

"What did you just say?" Flames started to form on the edges of Ferocity's mouth and smoke rose from her nostrils.

"Shut up everyone." Trench repeated herself very clearly.

"No one tells me just to 'Shut up.'" One of her claws started to reach for a dagger.

"Your right, I said 'Shut up everyone.' Common misconception for a Skywing." She nodded, her eyes glittering with cleverness.

All Ferocity's own cleverness seemed to evaporate like water as she got even more mad. She wanted to kill this Seawing so bad. If Mosquito and Hunter didn't set her off, it would be this dragon.

"Common misconception for a Seawing to pick a fight she can't win." She growled back.

"Now ladies..." Mosquito coed, easily switching to his flirty side, "It's obvious you fighting for another  reason entirely. There's obviously only one worthy male dragon here." He vainly pointed to himself.

"Your right, I like the Leafwing already." Trench sat down.

This time Mosquito actually frowned. Ferocity rage died down a bit as she laughed at him. He shot her a pathetic wounded look.

"I'm right here." Hunter stood up straight regally.

"Oh right, my savior how could I forget... he's not a Seawing." Trench said innocently, her wings fluttering.

Ferocity laughed again. Her claws that had been reaching for her daggers stopped, now she was only interested in watching Trench mock the other dragons. However she stumbled back surprised as a certain yellow tail clubbed her on the shoulder.

She jumped back, hissing, "How dare you."

"Right, like I meant to kill you with my harmless tail." Hunter said, "Oh wait, it's not harmless," He held up his barb and shook it playfully, "You might get hurt on this thing."

"Might." Ferocity scoffed.

"Please don't fight, it's too loud and I can't wait until that Leafwing gets here." Trench collapsed dramatically on the floor, "I'm going to die."

"Oh but I would save you, maybe." Mosquito joined in, his wings folded neatly to his side.

"You are so" Ferocity was cut off as a dark blurred figure rushed into the cave, green and black scales tinted with red.

"Oh, it's not the Leafwing." Trench said dryly and got up.

"It's you." Hunter sniffed.

Ferocity rembered the Rainwing founder, Bamboo, he always had some green and black scales that didn't change color, but this time his body was littered with fresh cuts and bruises. Looking at him in that state, she almost laughed.

"That..." Bamboo paused, glancing at all the dragons, as if making sure they were still there, "That was not helpful."

"What? Scavenger got your tongue?" Trench asked innocently, flicking her dark blue tail.

The Rainwing's face remained emotionless, but his scales went from tinted red and all red. In a flash he opened his jaw and large amount of venom went sailing past Trench's head.

"What the moons?" Hunter leaped to his feet as the Seawing let out a alarming hiss.

"I believe some of you..." Bamboo said, locking his gaze into each dragon's own gaze, "Need a lesson in Respect."
