AN: Conner and Evans thing didn't happen in this one.

(Jeremy's POV)

    Me and Michael were in his basement playing AOTD when my phone started ringing. We were so close to the end of the level. I kept playing. I hit the answer button right before we won.

    "YESSS!!!!!" Me and Michael yelled in unison... Just in time for my dad to hear. I picked up the phone putting it to my ear.

    "Yea dad?" I questioned . "Um..." I could hear someone or a couple of people laughing in the background.

    "I was wondering if you boys could come home? " He asked.

    "Um.. Yeah we can do that." I said. I

    "You guys aren't high right? " My dad asked.

    "Not at the moment no." I replied and I heard hysterical laughter in the background.

    "Good. Well be over in five!" He said.

   "Ok" I replied.

    "Love ya private." Dad said.

    "Love you too dad." I replied.

    "Also bring Michael." He added.

    "Got it. " I said.

    "Bye" I said.

   "Bye" He replied half-heartedly. Then hung up.

    "Ok Mikey get dressed, my dad wants us home." I said standing up.

    "Whyyyy!?!" He wined. "I was so gonna beat your ass! In Mario Kart!" He complained.

    "Oh boo hoo." I joked. "Oh my god imagine if we get there there and it's just Conner with a fucking chainsaw!?" Michael joked . I shook my head and rolled my eye.

    "I'm not entertaining your shenanigans." I told him as we changed our shirts. We changed and then left getting in Michael's car. We got home and walked up to the door. Hand in hand, like always.

    I knocked.

    "Hey boys!" My dad said. He sniffed before stepping aside.

   "You were checking for weed weren't you?" Michael asked. My dad nodded.

   "Hey dad." I said somewhat jokingly nugging Michael . He rolled his eyes.

    "Hey Mr.Heere!" Michael said. We turned the corner into the living room to actually see Conner. "Aww man you forgot the chainsaw." Michael said, sounding disappointed. Before his smile returned and he walked to Conner who was on the couch dragging me along and fist bumping him.

    "Yeah,This one" He said gabbing a finger at a woman who I just noticed sitting on the love seat. "And this one." He said gabbing a finger at a boy in a white and blue stripped polo, jean blue jeans and his hair looked jelled who was sitting next to him and looked nervous as all hell and was lightly holding his hand. "Said 'you can't bring your chainsaw Conner!'" Conner imitated. Michael laughed.

    "And ya know, that's a perfectly reasonable expectation." Michael said as we sat down next to the two boys.

    "There lucky I listen to em!" Conner replied.

    "So how's your life been... I'm assuming your Evan?" Michael said/ asked.

    "U-um y-ya I'm E-Evan." Evan said.

    "Aw.. You do stutter just like Con said!" Michael said, a shit earring grin on his face, I caught on to what he was doing.

    "C-Conner tal-talks about m-me!? "Evan asked hope in his voice.

    "Ya! All the t-" Michael was cut off by Conner.

    "Michael I swear to god I will cut your fucking head off!" Conner yelled. Michael chuckled.

    "Mickey stop that!" I said wraping my arms around his arm and pulling him closer to me, he smiled as he turned to me.

    "But it's so easy  to get on his nerves!" He said.

    "Well we don't know the situation! Leave him be!" I said.

    "Your not me mom!" He argued.I

    "So?" I asked.

    "Your my boyfriend!" He said pecking my forehead.

    "Ew... Boys we have guests don't do that!" My Dad said walking into the room. I looked over and he was covering his eyes with one hand and the women was giggling.

    "You've seen it before dad!" I said. He chuckled removing his hand.

    "Ok boys, so your probably wondering why we bought you all here. Well Heidi and I are dating and things are getting serious so we thought you boys should meet now so we can, move you in next week! " My dad explained.

    "That's great!" Me and Michael jinxed.

    "Ok so I thought that since we'll be living as a family soon, " My dad started Michael leaned into my ear.

    "Like a family!" He joked. I giggled.

    "We should learn each others history." My dad explained. "And I think Jeremy should start first." My dad said. I sighed.

    "Well I've known Michael since kindergarten and we've sorta been the... geeks of the school and have been each others only friends since forever. And my mom left freshmen year. She called me and dad names and said a lot of.... Hurtful things, and when junior of rolled around I was tired of being uncool so when one of my bullies named Rich told me about this thing called a SQUIP I got one with the help of Michael and basically what that is, is it's a..." I looked at Michael telling him to talk.

    "It stands for super quantum unit Intel processor. And it's a really good computer to put it basically, it goes though your blood system and when it reaches your brain it like installes it's self and appears as a hologram that has the processing capacity to understand human socializing rules and it tells you how to act." Michael finished and everyone looked lost.

    "Yeah that." I said giggling. "But I got Michael to drive me to the mall where I got and took the SQUIP, and immediately things started changing girls were flirting with me but when one of them offered me basically a date I declined because I was gonna ride home with Micha but the SQUIP told me he left-" I was cut off by Conner.

    "He didn't leave I remember he told me about that!" Conner argued.

    "Yeah, but I couldn't see him. So I thought he was gone. The next day at school people started talking to me and I was becoming popular. And when I was leaving play rehearsal I ran into him, and that's when I found out what optic nerve blocking was and I... Turned it on willing with lots of convincing from the SQUIP." I said. I

    "Now that might seem like an asshole thing to do but the SQUIP was abusive it uses anxiety and what people think of you along with your worst fears to manipulate you and lower your self-esteem." Mickey explained.

    "So a Halloween party was thrown by Jake where I was... B-basically r-raped if u-you can call it that." I stuttered remembering all the un-wanted touches from Cole. "Then I took refuge in a bathroom where I ran into Michael and we had one of- the worst argument in the history of us being friends and then the Play happened and Michael saved t-the day!" I explained getting lazy at the end. "With the amazing remark of screaming 'MICHAEL MAKES AN ENTRANCE!'as he entered. " I explained,cussing Conner and Evan to burst out laughing.

    "That's the geekiest thing I've ever heard! You actually did that?!" Conner asked.I

    "Yes. I. Did. " Michael said. Conner suddenly seemed to choke on nothing as he laughed harder.

    "Oh my God Conner get your mind out of the gutter!" Michael said chuckling as he shoved Conner moving his arm in front of Evan to do so. I thought about it then- on that entrance. I flushed a bright red. "Look who got the joke!" Conner said inbetween laughs.

    "Come don't make those jokes!" Evan yells. Conner just laughs harder. I barry my face in Michas hoodie.

    We all calmed down after a little bit but my face remained red. Conner and Evan explained there story's and then Michael had to explain his, he wasn't comfortable talking about what happened with his dad yet so he was let off the hook.

    "Ok so you boys can go upstairs till lunch when we call you all down. Michael your Mom's will be here then." Heidi said. " Oh and we want you boys to get used to calling us Mom and Dad. " Dad said.

    "Ok..." Michael started, with a mischievous smile on his face. "Mom." He said pointing at my dad. "Dad." He said pointing at Heidi. Us kids burst out laughing.

    "No!!! Michael I thought your mom thought you better than to disrespect your elders!" My dad said smiling, even Heidi was laughing. "Oh and Michael, Evan and you yeah, you two have an exception on the Dad thing and Michael your Mom Hailey said she would switch back to Ina or whatever." My dad explained.

    "Ok." Michael said. I

    "What about me and the Mom thing?" I asked not really knowing if I could do that. Dad was about to say something when Heidi answered.

    "Yes sweetie you can take your time." Heidi said

    "Thank you." I squeaked .

    Us kids went upstairs and me and Micha sat down on our bean bags, Conner and Evan got on my bed next to each other.

    "Hey Mell I want to see if your really that good in Mario kart." Conner challenged.

    "Your on Murphy!" Michael replied. We got the game set up and then the battle began and me and Michael slowly got closer and closer until in the pauses he just put his arm around me and I got in his lap and he played with his head over my shoulder while dominating Conner in Mario kart. Michael won of course yelling, "TAKE IT MURPHY!" In victory.

    "Fuck off Mell." Conner replied. We messed around getting to know each other more and just talking also playing games and I quickly noticed that Conner and Evan were not affectionate as me and Michael were or maybe they were just being like that because me and Micha were in the room I'm not sure.

    "Boys! Dinner!" Ina said as she opened the door hitting Michael in the head with the corner of the door on accident because we were low key cuddling.

    "Ow..." Michael said as he rubbed where the door hit. I kissed it.

    "Ew cut it out you two I'm sure they don't want to see that." Ina a said. I giggled Michael chuckled .

    "Sorry Ina." Michael said.

    "I thought I raised you better." Ina said jokingly. Everyone laughed a little at that and we all got up and went down stairs.

    After lunch and getting used to calling Michael's mom Ina Michael suggested we go skating. We drove Evan and Conner to There houses and they ran in and got there skating gear and we were off. We got to the parking lot got our stuff out and noticed a certain tension between Evan and Conner that wasn't there before. Michael was helping me learn and I got it as Evan and Conner sat down to 'talk' as they put it.

    "SO YOUR REPUTATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THE ME!?!?" Michael and I heard Evan scream. We turned and Conner and Evan were arguing and Evan was crying.

    "Whao, whoa, whoa, what's going on?" Michael questioned.

    "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! "Conner yelled at Michael, before pushing him -and in turn me because I was basically holding onto Michael- to the ground. We both landed with an oof. I felt my arm get crushed by Michael and I landed weirdly on my side so my knee and the palm of my hand that was not under Michael hit the ground hard because we were still in rolled skates, my face also hit the ground.

     "CONNER!" Evan yelled. Conner turned, looked at him, before walking out of the park. I quickly started feeling pain where my body made contact with the ground.I felt tears well in my eyes as Michael got up in a rush.

    "Oh my god Jer are you ok?!" Michael asked.

    "Yeah." I said my voice shaky.

     "Oh my God Jer your bleeding!" Michael said picking me up. He set me down on the bench and took out the medkit. He took out a bottle of water and poured it over my cut on my cheek, I winced. "I know, I know sanggol I know." Michael comforted me. Sanggol means baby in Filipino. He used the set wipes to clean out my cut more using paper towels to wipe up the blood coming from it and did the same to my hand and knee kissing each cut gently. When he finished he kissed my forehead. "You ok Jer-bear?" He asked.

   "Yeah." I replied.

    "Good," Michael started. "Now Evan what was the fight about?" Michael asked sitting between me and Evan.

    "I wanted to help Conner like you were helping Jeremy but he got mad and he must-have he- n-never shows me a-affection in public and l-like people have came up to us and asked i-if we were dating! You c-can't even tell! And you and Jeremy act l-like a couple and I-I guess I-It's- just got mad." Evan explained.

    "Evan... Not every  couple is like me and Jer we're actually considered a really gooy couple and Con has never really been in a real relationship per say and the way he's keep people off his back is he was the bad boy. So now your asking him to change how he's acted for years! And that's hard, just.... Give him time ok? And try and talk it out. Ok?" Michael asked.

    "Ok." Evan said seemingly more  confident.

    "Now I'm gonna go get Con, I'll be right back." Michael said.

    Michael walked off and me and Evan talked. I reassured him Conner loved him and that he would come around. Evan asked to go and Talk to Conner in the car so me and Michael told them to while we cleaned up. And when we turned around we saw them kissing.

And I couldn't wait to have fun with my new family.
