Y/N POV

It's been a few more weeks, I still haven't told him. Today is father's day, the perfect day... Okay, I'll tell him today.

Eros jumped up on the bed, crawling over to my face and giving my heel a lick. Eros then proceeded to rest his head on my small baby bump. I'll bet even he knows.

I smiled and began to let his head softly, I just laid there and stared at the ceiling; thinking, just thinking, of what I could say.

"Eros, how do you think he's gonna react?" I muttered, Eros pricked his ears at the sound of his name. He let out a soft bark and I smiled.

"I hope you're right." I mumbled, is at up and Eros lifted his head off my stomach. I grabbed my phone on the nightstand and accidentally dropped it on the carpet-floor.

I sighed, Time to play the: 'How far can I lean off the bed to grab the thing?' Game. The tips of my fingers grazed my phone, I grabbed it and pulled towards me.

I began to text Lafayette.

N/N: "When are you coming home?"

BabyDaddy💋: "Soon, soon. I promise, but, may I ask why?"

N/N: "Because I have something to tell you."

BabyDaddy💋: "Can't you just tell me over text?"

N/N: "This isn't exactly a 'over-text' kinda thing... see you when you get home, love you."

BabyDaddy💋: "Oh, Alright. Je t'aime."

I huffed and turned off my phone, letting it fall onto the bed. "Eros, could you grab my blanket?" I asked, gesturing to a blanket across the room.

He barks in response, leaping off the bed and grabbing the blanket in his jaws. Eros then trotted back over, setting it on my legs.

I smiled and thank him, pulling it over my body. Eros sets his head on the bed letting out a groan, I pat the bed; giving him permission.

Eros hops back onto the bed, laying at the end and staring at the door. He rested his head onto his spotted paws, I yawned.

I rolled over and fell asleep, clutching onto the blanket gently. My eyes fluttered closed and my breathing slowed, allowing me to fall asleep.

Lafayette's POV

I walked into the house, I hummed and searched the house for my beloved. I didn't find her anywhere so I went to the bedroom.

I found her in bed, asleep. It's only the afternoon, What'd she do to get so tired? (Carry your baby around all day? I swear, boys are so stupid.)

Eros didn't recognize me at first, letting out a low growl. I called out his name and Eros relaxed, resting his head back onto his paws.

I walked over to Y/N, gently shaking her awake. Her E/C orbs opened, adjusting to the brightness of the sun, pouring through the window.

Y/N POV

I opened my eyes as I felt two hands on my body, gently shaking me. My eyes adjusted to the bright light, seeping in through the window.

"What is you wanted to tell me?" Lafayette mumbled, sitting down beside me as I sat up, stretching and rubbing my eyes.

"Oh. Happy Father's Day." I smiled at him, he let out a breathy chuckle. "Look, I know we've tried out different things in the room but-" I cut him off with a giggle.

"No, silly. Not that, happy father's day!" I repeated, he tilted his head. "I don't understand." Lafayette pouted. I rolled my eyes and sigh.

I grabbed his hand and guide it to my belly, resting it there gently and rubbing circles on it. "Happy. Father's. Day." I repeat, his eyes widened as he caught on.

"I-I'm gonna be a Father?" He chokes out, I nod with tears welling in my eyes. A few escaped and Lafayette kissed them away, removing his and from my stomach.

He stood up and began to run around the room, shouting happily. "A father! I'm gonna be a father!! I'm gonna be a father!" He exclaimed, jumping in excitement.

I laughed at his enthusiasm, Eros was barking happily and prancing around the room too. Lafayette pulled me to my feet and began dancing around with me, I was a giggly mess.

"Well I'm glad you're excited." I stated with a broad grin, "Excited? Non. I'm overjoyed!" He threw his hands into the air. I kissed his cheek, "You'll be a great dad." I murmured.

"And you'll be a fabulous mother!" Lafayette squealed (The Manly-est Of squeals), "So can we tell the rest of the gang?" He asked and arched a brow.

"Of course!" I replied, sitting down in exhaustion, moments later Lafayette was calling people.

I shook my head and chuckled. What am I gonna do with that man?
