Chapter 2

(Disclaimer: I don't own Undertale and Haikyuu. They belong to Toby Fox and Haruichi Furudate. Btw most of this pictures don't belong to me)

(First person)
I let out a sigh. "What's wrong Kageyama?" Sugawara asked. "Oh nothing much," I replied. Sugawara looked at me as if he didn't believe me. Well he is the mother of our volleyball team, I thought. "Really, it's not a big deal," I said. Sugawara raised an eyebrow before turning away to help Hinata with his receives because he still suck at those. Hinata is such a moron, I thought. "Hey Kageyama, since Sugawara is busy mind if you set me a toss?" Tanaka asked, appearing suddenly. I jumped in surprised and he laughed, "Wow, you are awfully jumpy today." "I am not!" I said defensively. Tanaka laughed again, "Yeah sure you're not. Anyway mind if you set me a toss so I can spike it. I'm feeling really good today!" I shrugged, "Sure why not."

(Time skippy. At this point, practice is over)

"Hey Kageyama, can you toss for me?" Hinata asked, holding a volleyball in his hands. I flinched before answering, "S-sure." Hinata lowered the volleyball. "Are you ok? You are acting weird today. Our upperclassman can see it," He said. "I'm fine!" I yelled at him. "Well excuse me for worrying about a teammate, Bakayama!" He yelled back at me. "Oh not now you two!" Daichi yelled at both of us. "Yes sir," we both said. "So Kageyama why do you seem so jumpy all of a sudden? Yesterday you seemed alright?" Tanaka asked, appearing suddenly again. "It's nothing," I replied. "Oh he got scared because of a story that I told him," Hinata answered. "You little-!" I yelled, grabbing the collar of his shirt and shook him around. "Ohohoho~! I didn't know our brave Kageyama would be scared of a little story," Tanaka teased. "Shut up!" I yelled. "Is that how you talk to your upperclassman!?" Tanaka asked, putting his hands on his hips. "I told you to shut up!" Daichi yelled back at us. We all muttered sorry. "So what was the story about?" Tanaka asked. Hinata explained it to him and he snickered. "Wow you are afraid of that? I thought there was something worse," Tanaka said. I made a fist. "Well I think we can all agree that the story holds some plot holes. How did they fall down? Why did they wanted to climb the mountain? And how did they die?" Hinata spectated. "Yeah. To be honest it is a little strange but there's no need to be scared of a story," Tanaka said, patting my back exaggerated. I made an angry grunt to show that I was not amused.

"What's this I hear? The king is afraid of a simple fairytale?" A voice asked. I turned my head around to see another person that I want to punch their face in. Tsukishima stood there smirking. "Oh screw you four eyes," I said. He pushed up his glasses. "My my. Is that how you talk to us peasants?" He asked. I seriously wanted to break those glasses of his. "What fairytale is making the king act so cowardly?" He asked. I can just imagine myself breaking his glasses in half while Hinata explained. Tsukishima snorted, "Wow that's stupid. I never even heard of that one before." Tanaka and Hinata had to held me back to prevent me from marching over to Tsukishima and punching him or breaking his glasses. "I'm not scared bean-pole. The story just surprised me," I explained. He rolled his eyes. "Yeah and Hinata is tall," he said. "Don't drag me into this," Hinata cried, hanging onto my arm for dear life in case I flung him at Tsukishima which I was so tempted to do. "How about this? To prove that you're not scared, I dare you climb this mountain and bring back something that can only be found at the mountain?" Tsukishima suggested. "Wait... climb that mountain?" "Yeah." "You mean the mountain that rumored if you climbed it, you'll never come back?" I asked. "That's what I said," Tsukishima replied. I could feel my legs shaking but I stopped them before they could notice. I swallowed, "And what do I get out of it?" Tsukishima thought for a moment. "I'll...be nice to you for a week," he said finally. "Really?" I asked, surprised. Tanaka and Hinata looked at the bean pole also in surprised. "Yeah...but only if you climb up the mountain and bring something that can only be found there back," he said folding his arms triumphantly. Tanaka gave me a look that said, "You're not serious about this?" Hinata was a little more harder to read. He seemed worried but another emotion was mixed in that I couldn't quite read. Tsukishima was waiting for an answer. "... Fine," I finally said. "WHAT?!" Tanaka and Hinata cried. Even Tsukishima seemed surprised but he brushed it off and said, "Alright I'll see you off tomorrow early in the morning. Shouldn't take you too long." I nodded and he walked away.

Tanaka grabbed my shoulders and looked at me straight in the eyes. "What the hell Kageyama! Why did you agree?!" He asked. Hinata didn't say anything but was looking in the direction where Tsukishima left. "Look, I'm tired of that bean pole being a complete salt and would like a week off of his saltiness and besides I need to show that I'm not scared," I replied. "That's a very manly thing to say...at the worst possible time," Tanaka said, removing his hands off my shoulders to face palm. "I regret telling you that story," Hinata said, letting go off my arm. I didn't notice that he was still hanging onto it and now that I noticed it, I could see fingernail prints on my arm. I looked at them both. "Don't tell anyone about this," I said. "What?!" They asked. "If anyone hears about this, they'll prevent me from going and Tsukishima will never let me hear the end of it," I explained. Tanaka looked like he wanted to interrupted but I glared at him. "I'm going and you can't stop me," I said. Tanaka's fist shook before nodding, "I guess you won't change your mind." He walked away and I looked at Hinata. He wouldn't meet my eyes...well not that he can anyway, he's short. "Hinata..." "Just don't die," he said. "Huh?" I asked. "I said don't die!" Hinata replied looking up straight at my eyes. He stormed off. What was that all about, I wondered.
