Ch.1

"Why won't you...just leave me alone!?!?" Sasuke growled.

A kick to the stomach.

"You're my best friend."

"Your best friend who is trying to kill you."

"I...am NOT!!! Leave me ALONE!!!"

A punch to the face.

'I...can't fight back...he's too fast...' Naruto gritted his teeth as he landed on the surface of the lake.

"Chidori!!!!" Sasuke screamed as he ran towards Naruto with a lightning in his hand.

Naruto's eyes widened.

Someone grabbed his wrist.

And pulled him down.

Naruto fell.

And fell further...into the darkness.

"I'm sorry...Sasuke...I'm too weak...I couldn't save...myself."

His eyes snapped open.

Naruto grabbed Sasuke's wrist and threw the Uchiha into the lake, jumping away as he watched Sasuke get electrocuted by his own jutsu.

After about fifteen seconds, Sasuke crawled to the surface of the water, glaring at Naruto.

"Come on, Uchiha. We don't have much time. The Konoha shinobi will get here soon," Naruto spun his kunai. "Let's finish this before they arrive."

Sasuke's eyes widened as Naruto flashed forward, swinging a kunai at him. 'How...how did he get so fast!?'

He used his own kunai to block Naruto's, which made him skid back a few steps as the kunais clashed.

"How...how did you get so strong all of a sudden, dead last?" Sasuke growled.

"..." Naruto gave him an emotionless stare. "I have no need to answer your question."

"TELL ME!!!!" Sasuke screamed in rage as he launched a fireball at Naruto.

"How about we stop the fight, Uchiha?" Naruto suggested. Sasuke's eyes widened. What now? He suddenly shows this much power, and now he wants to stop fighting?

"Hah....you're scared?" Sasuke smirked.

"Scared?" Naruto tilted his head and laughed lightly. "No, no, not at all. I'm just saying, you go to Orochimaru, and I go my own way. It's a win win. What do you say?"

Sasuke glared at Naruto. "Like hell I'll believe that."

"Hm, I thought you'd say that," Naruto shrugged. "Well I guess it can't be helped...." Naruto spun his kunai as his eyes turned red with black slits in the middle, grinning madly. "...I'll have to throw you back to the Konoha shinobi."

Sasuke's eyes widened as Nauto launched a fireball at him that was much larger than his own fireball. He quickly jumped out of the way just as an explosion errupted almost right next to him.

"To be able to dodge that...you're actually quite good, Uchiha," Naruto smirked. "But let's see if you'll be able to dodge this!!!"

'That...what is...' Sasuke's eyes widened. 'He's doing different handsigns...with both hands!!!'

Fire and wind were blewn out of Naruto's mouth at the same time, making the fire even bigger. Sasuke tried to dodge but was burned by the jutsu, stumbling towards a rock for support.

"Can't walk already?" Naruto smirked. Sasuke glared. "Well have a taste..."

Lightning crackled in Naruto's hand. "...of your own attack!!!"

"Chidori~" Naruto sang as his hand dug into Sasuke's shoulder.

"..." The Uzumaki faced the barely conscious Uchiha, inching towards him.

"You're...someone worthy enough to be my opponent," Naruto said. "I look forward to our next fight."

Just as Naruto disappeared, the world around Sasuke went black.

Sasuke's eyes groggily, meeting a white ceiling.

"Hello, Sasuke," a voice greeted.

Groaning, he slowly sat up to meet the eyes of Kakashi Hatake. On instinct, his hand went towards where his weapon pouch supposedly was, only to find nothing there.

"Relax, you're in the hospital," Kakashi said.

"Naruto...where's Naruto?" Sasuke asked.

"Naruto..." Kakashi looked away. "He's missing. When we found you unconscious at the valley of the end, he was nowhere to be seen."

"Naruto..." Sasuke muttered. 'Worthy opponent...?'

"So? Are you still going to try and escape?" Kakshi asked. Sasuke looked up then down at his feet again.

"Maa," Kakashi sighed as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on. "I'll leave you alone for a while. Don't even try to escape, there is a total of ten ANBU watching you and the 'Sound Four' are captured right now."

"...I won't," Sasuke said.

Kakashi raised his eyebrows.

"I won't...escape," Sasuke said.

"That won't make the ANBUs go away," Kakashi said. "And it wouldn't change the fact that you tried to run from the village. Or the fact that you supposedly killed Naruto either," he finished the last part of his sentence with a bit of venom.

"No...I didn't kill Naruto," Sasuke said. "I said I'm staying....and I am. I'm not trying to make the ANBUs let their guard down...I want to get stronger. I want to get stronger so I can defeat Naruto with the help of Konoha."

"...I don't get it," Kakashi said.

"Naruto, at the Valley of the End. He changed," Sasuke said.

"...Changed? How?" Kakashi asked.

"From saying he'd bring me back, to saying he'd go his own path. He seemed colder....stronger," Sasuke mumbled.

"...That's weird...but we can't really trust you yet. As soon as you get well, you're going to the Torture and Interrogation Centre," Kakashi said. "You'll probably be locked up in there for a while. We have no idea if you pose a threat to Konoha yet."

"...I understand," Sasuke said. "Do...whatever you want. I just need to get stronger. I'll get stronger...and I'll defeat him."

"Hm," Kakashi hummed. "I'll be going then."

The door creaked as it was slid open before slamming close again.

Sasuke looked out of the window as he recalled some memories from before.

'What...happened to you, Naruto?'

"What are you doing here?" growled the Kyuubi.

"What's your name?" Naruto asked.

"Why would I need to tell you?" The Kyuubi sneered as he slammed a paw on the cage.

"I should know my opponent's name..." Naruto looked up with a mad grin. "...before I kill them...isn't it?"

Ch.2

Sasuke was walking down the hospital hallways towards the toilet when he bumped into something- no, someone.

"Sorry," Sasuke mumled quietly as he helped said person up. The figure looked up and both their eyes widened. "...Sakura."

"Oh...S-Sasuke.....kun," Sakura stammered. "Sorry for bumping into you...I'll be...going," Sakura bent her head down and went away.

"Where are you heading to?" Sasuke asked, seeing the flowers in her hands.

"I'm visiting Neji-san, Choji and Kiba," Sakura answered.

"What happened to them?" Sasuke frowned as slightly as possible.

"U-Uhm...they..." Sakura looked away, avoiding eye contact with Sasuke. "They got injured...in the retrieval....mission."

Sasuke froze. "H-How...bad?"

"Shikamaru only has minor injuries. Kiba has a deep wound...b-but it's not fatal," Sakura answered. "Choji and Neji are...um...in....critical condition and undergoing surgery..."

Sasuke widened his eyes then looked down in shame. If he hadn't tried to run from the village, Choji would probably be eating pork with Shikamaru...Neji would be training with his team...Kiba would be playing with Akamaru...no one would get hurt.

"S-Sasuke...it's not your fault, y-you needed power to kill your...um..brother...I-If I were you, I-I'd...probably do the same!!!" Sakura tried to cheer him up.

"..." Sasuke said nothing as he walked past Sakura, heading to the hospital counter.

Ino was leaning against the wall, her eyes almost dead as a fish. Temari sat near Shikamaru who was being comforted by Asuma.

"You did what you had to do as the squad leader, Shikamaru. Don't worry, Choji and the others...will be fine," Asuma patted Shikamaru's head gently.

The door opened with Shizune panting, sweat dripping down her forehead. "Choji Akimichi's condition....he's...stable now."

Shikamaru and Ino's face lightened up. Tears flooded Shikamaru's eyes and flowed down his cheeks as he tried to wipe them away.

"Heh, happy now, you crybaby?" Temari smirked at the Nara.

A medic nin rushed to their side. "Neji Hyuga is stable now!!! The surgery was a success!!!"

"I told you they'd be fine," Asuma ruffled Shikamaru's hair.

"Shut up...You're so troublesome," Shikamaru grinned slightly as he shoved Asuma's hand off.

Sasuke breathed out what seemed to be a sigh of relief before heading to the toilet.

A few months later

"That's all for today, Sakura, Ino. You can go home now," Tsunade said as she arranged some books on the shelf.

"Hai, Tsunade-sama," Sakura and Ino bowed before leaving the Hokage library together.

"So, where will you be going, Ino?" Sakura asked.

"Oh...Shikamaru and Choji planned on going to Yakiniku Q to have dinner today. You wanna come?" Ino said.

"Nah," Sakura shook her head.

"Where are you going, then?" Ino asked.

"Hm....I don't know...maybe visit Sasuke? He's training by himself every day, I'm sure he could use some company," Sakura shrugged.

"...Oh," Ino said with a bit of distaste in her voice. "I don't get why you are still friends with that jerk."

Sakura frowned. "We're in the same team...after all."

"...." Ino stared at her best friend. "Well..I'll be going then. See you at the library tomorrow!"

"See you!!!" Sakura waved as she watched Ino leave. Heaving a sigh, she headed towards the Uchiha compound.

"Sasuke," Sakura called as she entered the Uchiha compound training grounds. "Sasuke!!!"

"Yes?" Sasuke responded as he stepped off the surface of the lake.

"Oh, um, I brought some dinner for you," Sakura raised up a bento.

"...Sorry....but no thanks," Sasuke said before turning away again.

"But Sasuke....you've been training the whole day again, haven't you? Come on, it's not healthy to starve yourself for training," Sakura frowned.

"..." Sasuke stayed silent. "...Fin- Okay then."

Sakura's face lit up. "Come on, let's eat. I'm hungry too. Tomato Onigiri right?"

Sasuke blushed. "Y-Yeah."

"He escaped..." A hooded figure muttered. "Stupid snake....I'll get you next time."

He spun his kunai and kept in in his pouch before disappearing in flames.

Time Skip to Shippuden

"We need another Team member to go to that base that the ANBUs discovered, along with someone else in Kakashi's place," Tsunade said. "But don't worry, I've already chosen two people from the ANBU to be the temporary replacements for your team."

The door opened as an extremely pale boy and a man with weird eyes came in.

"I am Sai. Nice to meet you," Sai said with an extremely realistic smile on his face which Sasuke and Sakura sweatdropped at.

"My name is Yamato. You can call me Yamato-taichou," Yamato said with a small smile.

"Yamato is only a temporary replacement for your team, but Sai will be a permanent replacement until we find...Naruto," Tsunade informed.

"...Right," Sasuke nodded.

"When are we setting off, Tsunade-sama?" Sakura asked.

"I'll give you 1 hour to prepare yourselves and familiarize with each other. You are to head out after breakfast. Is that clear?" Tsunade crossed her arms.

"Hai, Hokage-sama!" The four chorused.

(In the anime, Team Kakashi met Orochimaru at the bridge bcuz Sasori told them that he was supposed to meet up with them there. But in this fanfic, ANBUs discovered the same base but were killed so Team Kakashi was sent there to investigate. Weird, but....lets just stick with that explanation XDDD)

"There's three chakra signatures up ahead," Sakura informed.

"Yeah, I can feel it too," Yamato said. 'Orochimaru's chakra...but the other one is also strangely familiar...'

As they stepped into the underground base of Orochimaru quietly, an explosion was heard in the distance.

"W-What was that?" Sakura stammered.

"An explosion," Sai smiled. Sakura rolled her eyes.

"We'll check it out...but carefully," Yamato said, sweat dripping down his forehead. "Conceal your chakra and be as quiet as possible."

"You always give me an enjoyable fight, Orochimaru....heh...but...," A hooded figure smooched as he swung his double edged scythe at the snake sannin who tried to dodge. His single red eye shone in the shade.

"Are you going to run again? Like the coward you are!?!?! That won't be any fun, snake!!!" The figure grinned as he formed a tiny black ball with in his heavily scarred hand and threw it at Orochimaru, causing it to explode.

"Orochimaru-sama...we have to retreat. I sense three jonin level ninjas and a chunin level ninja heading our way," Kabuto warned.

"Let's go, Kabuto," Orochimaru hissed at the figure before disappearing.

"...No fun, they disappeared again," The figure sighed. "Hope I get a better fight next time...If not...I guess I'll kill him seriously..."

He watched as Team Kakashi appeared at the site.

"Konoha shinobi..." The figure spat with venom laced in his voice.

"Who are you?" Yamato asked.

"..." the figure stayed silent.

"If you don't answer us, we'll have to attack," Yamato narrowed his eyes.

"Come at me then, you shitty Konoha nins," the figure smirked.

Sweat dripped down Yamato's forehead.

"...cowards."

"Do you work for Orochimaru?" Yamato asked.

"I don't work for trash," the figure gently brushed his scythe. "If you want to know who I am so bad, I'll tell you then."

Team Kakashi narrowed their eyes as the figure pulled his hoodie down.

Their eyes then widened.

"Surprise."

Ch.3

"Surprise."

Sasuke and Sakura were frozen in shock while Sai narrowed his eyes, his hand reaching towards his bag.

"Helloooooo!!! Hiiii??? Can you hear me???? Wakey, wakey!!!" The figure with his right eye blue and left eye red waved at Sasuke and Sakura.

"N-Naruto?" Sasuke stammered.

"No, I'm Shikamaru," Naruto struck a lazy pose.

Team Kakashi almost sweatdropped.

"Anyways, what are you guys doing here?" Naruto squatted down (tat how u spell it??? idek. I suk.), leaning against his scythe.

"We should be asking you that, missing-nin Naruto Uzumaki," Yamato narrowed his eyes. "Based on your scythe...you're the Mad Reaper in the bingo book, aren't you?"

"They call me that?" Naruto raised his eyebrows. "Nevermind. It's nice to meet you again though...Kinoe nii-san."

Yamato's eyes widened to an impossible extent.

"....He's frozen too. Now you, what's your name?" Naruto looked at Sai.

Sai just narrowed his eyes without saying a word.

"Oi, you, Haruno. My replacement, is he mute?" Naruto asked.

"N-Naruto," was all Sakura managed to say.

"...Agh, all ofyou are so useless. You can't even talk," Naruto groaned as he stood up. "You bore me. I'm leaving."

"Wait!!!" Sasuke shouted.

Naruto turned around to face the Uchiha. "Hm?"

"Why...why did you leave?" Sasuke frowned.

"Why did I leave?" Naruto narrowed his eyes. "If you're so curious, you can go ask Kinoe over there. Or Kakashi if you want. Huh, who knows, maybe you can even ask Weasel-san sometime."

Sasuke's eyes widened.

"....Can you guys stop looking at me like that," Naruto deadpanned. "Well, I'm leaving. You guys go back before I kill you. If it weren't for you I probably coulda killed that snake."

"Wait!!!!" Again, Sasuke shouted just as Naruto spun away.

Naruto let out an irritated sigh and turned around again. "What, Uchiha? You're really getting on my nerves."

Sasuke didn't know what to say. He just wanted Naruto to stay a little longer, or maybe even come back to the village.

"C-Can you come back?" Sasuke stammered.

"Now that, is what I call," Naruto sat down again. "stupid."

"So, tell me, Uchiha. What happened to you when you got back to the village?" Naruto asked.

"They...they locked me up for a month," Sasuke answered quietly.

"Yes. Now, imagine, if I was the one captured and sent back, for how long would they lock me up for?" Naruto tilted his head with a smirk.

"...two...weeks...?" Sasuke took a guess. "You...did send me back to the village after all."

"Ppft, Oh my god," Naruto shook his head. "No, no. I'll tell you. I'll tell you."

In a flash, Naruto appeared in front of Sasuke, making his eyes widen.

"They'll lock me up...my whole fucking life. They'll lock me up and treat me like a fucking rat. You think getting locked up in a cell for a month hurts? That's like, what, special treatment for their Uchiha prince," Naruto scoffed.

"And they'll take this chance to lock me up so that they won't see my face again," Naruto growled. "So no way in hell am I going back to that hell."

Naruto grabbed the handle of his scythe. "I once thought you of someone worthy enough to be my opponent...let's see if you have improved, Sasuke. If you haven't..."

Naruto gave him a sweet smile. "I guess I'll just have to choose a new opponent for myself."

Naruto swung his scythe at Sasuke, the Uchiha barely being able to dodge just in time as his arm got scrapped.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. So weak. The weak are trash. And trash..." Naruto's red eye shone as he grinned madly. "...must be eliminated."

Sasuke flashed out a kunai just in time as Naruto swung his scythe done.

"Pshhh, my scythe ain't double edged for nothing, ttebayo!!!" Naruto grinned as his scythe swung towards Sasuke's from below.

Sasuke's eyes widened as he jumped away.

"Oof!!!! Almost got his nuts!!!" Naruto laughed.

"What...turned you into this, Naruto?" Sasuke clutched his bleeding arm with gritted teeth.

"Me?" Naruto raised his eyebrows. "...I don't quite get what you mean."

Naruto raced forward for another attack which Sasuke dodged. "Well, I injured your arm, so, ONE POINT FOR NARUTO UZUMAKI!!!"

"Tsk...I'll go help," Sakura said but was pulled back by Yamato.

"No. Naruto....Naruto could dight Orochimaru on his own. He's too strong for you," Yamato warned.

"How do you know that, Yamato taichou?" Sakura asked.

"I sensed Orochimaru's chakra and his just now...he must've had a fight with Orochimaru. Why else would there be a huge crater here?" Yamato said.

"By the way...whos' Kinoe, Yamato-taichou?" Sakura asked.

"That was my ANBU name. Now...we have to be cautious. I'll try to trap hi- SAI!!! Stop right there!!!" Yamato yelled as Sai charged forward with a scroll in hand.

'He's seemingly coating the scythe with Kyuubi chakra...' Sai thought as he rolled the scroll open midair, making some handsigns.

'First step...break the seal on his stomach...' Sai charged at Naruto as Sasuke attacked.

"Sasuke, make an opening for me," Sai said.

"What?"

"I need to land a punch on his stomach," Sai explained.

"What are you planning?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"...I have a seal that can weaken him," Sai lied.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "...Fine. I'll try."

"Hmm? Mr.Paper joining us?" Naruto raised his eyebrows.

"That seal..." Yamato's eyes widened as he recognized the seal on Sai's scroll.

As Sasuke distracted Naruto by fighting at full speed, which tired him a lot, Sai poured his chakra into the seal.

"Quickly...Sai!!!" Sasuke growled as Naruto landed a punch to his face.

Too fast for untrained eyes to see, Sai striked Naruto's stomach with the kanji for 'break' on his palm.

"NOT GOOD!!!!" Yamato yelled. "Sakura, Sasuke, get back!!!!"

"What!?" Sasuke screamed.

"Sai broke Naruto's seal that contained the Kyuubi!!!" Yamato explained, sweat dripping down his forehead.

Sai stared at Naruto's stomach with wide eyes. 'His seal is supposed to glow when it breaks...but it's not even there!'

"Hah..." Naruto laughed, his eyes shaded. "You wanted to extract the Kyuubi from me, didn't you?"

Sai looked up at Naruto, his eyes wide in fear at the Uzumaki's killer intent.

"Too bad...the Kyuubi is already gone," Naruto smirked.

Sai's face returned to emotionless as he jumped away in caution.

"You're very fast....that's true," Naruto chuckled. "But if you're not someone at Orochimaru's level..." Naruto's single red eye shone. "You to me....you are a mere pathetic ant."

"Is the Kyuubi already extracted from him...?" Yamato thought out loud, sweat dripping down his face at the killer intent. "But...that was the Kyuubi chakra just now..."

"No, no, no, I'll correct you, Kinoe nii-san. The Kyuubi is now a part of me," Naruto shrugged. "Or you can say...I overpowered the Kyuubi," Naruto grinned madly as purple chakra formed around him, his eyes turning purple as marks formed around them.

'Purple chakra...? Is it something like the chakra from the star guard mission?' Sasuke thought. 'No...this chakra is much different...'

"I'll let you go this time, Sasuke..." Naruto smiled, his hair floating upwards as if underwater. "...next time...I expect a real fight from you."

"Purple Flames," Naruto murmured as he area caught on purple fire.

"See you again...Konoha shinobi. Don't bore me next time," Naruto smirked before stepping into the fire and disappearing into thin air.

Ch.4

"How are you feeling, Sasuke, Sakura?" Tsunade asked.

"Hn," Sasuke answered.

"Much better now. We've recovered from all the burns," Sakura smiled sweetly while discreetly stepping on Sasuke's foot, making him wince and glare at her.

"Very good. I hope you have enough excercise, because I'm sending you on your next mission," Tsunade said. "In this mission, you will be going to the Fire Temple along with Sai and Yamato."

"Them again?" Sasuke said in an irritated voice.

"Yes, Sasuke. Any problems?" Tsunade smiled sweetly, an irk mark on her forehead.

"N-No," Sasuke stammered. Along the years, he has finally grown to fear women and understand how vicious they can be.

"Good. So, a group of people supposedly ninjas are suspected to be planning on stealing the coffins of four members of the Twelve Guardian Shinobi," Tsunade explained. "You know what that is, right?"

The two nodded.

"Aside from that, there is another problem. A hooded figure has been spotted near the Fire Temple. We have yet to know the figure's aims, but they were guessing that the two aren't related," Tsunade said. "They're not sure yet, so still, be alert. Sai's wounds have not fully recovered yet, and Team Kakashi without Kakashi will set off when he has fully recovered."

"Hai, Hokage-sama," the two responded as Tonton oinked.

"You are dismissed."

A hooded figure stood on the walls off the Fire Temple as the moonlight was blocked by the clouds. "I...I will take back what's mine..."

Time skip

"What!?" Sora shouted. "I don't want to go there with them!!! Especially that jerk!!!" he pointed at Sasuke.

"You're the jerk," Sasuke growled, his sharingan spinning wildly.

"Now, now, let's not start a fight here," Yamato said. Sasuke glared at the wall, only for his ear to be pulled by Sakura.

"Tsk, let go!" Sasuke glared at his female teammate.

"No fights in here. Yamato-taichou said that," Sakura glared at Sasuke, annoyed.

"Ugh, whatever," Sasuke glared at the wall again.

"What did the wall ever do to you," Shimiko muttered as she spied on them from the ceiling.

"Huh? Who's sound was that?" Sora asked.

"Shimiko," Team Kakashi except Sai answered in unison.

"...whatever." Sora rolled his eyes, glaring at the Uchiha who ignored him.

"What?" Sasuke grew an irk mark. "I'm not going to accompany him."

"All the others have their own stuff to do, and Sai is hurt," Tsunade said.

"I have to train too," Sasuke glared at the wall, again. 'And eat my tomatoes at home.' "He's only going to cause trouble here and I'll be the one who has to fix them."

"So, watch him closely," Tsunade shrugged. "Simple, now get outta my office."

"Tsk," Sasuke glared at Sora who shot back a glare in return. "Stick close because I won't give a hell about it if you get lost."

"You should be friendlier to him, Sasuke. Then maybe he won't hate you like Ino and the others."

-Sakura Haruno

Sasuke sighed with a small blush of embarrassment as he glanced at Sora. "So...uh..."

"What?" Sora glared at him.

"Tsk, I was just trying to be...uh...y-your...f-friend!!!" Sasuke shouted out in embarassment.

"Friend?" Sora froze for a moment. Then he glared. "Why would you?"

"Tsk, just trying to be nice..." Sasuke muttered under his breath.

"Tell me your name, your likes, dislikes, hobbies and your dreams!!!"

"Uh..." Sasuke looked down. "D-Do you, um, have a...hobby? Something like that?"

"Tsk, no," Sora glared at him. "Why are you being so nosy all of a sudden?"

"Then um, a, dream?" Sasuke clenched his fists in embarassment.

"I'll..I'll get revenge...that's my dream," Sora growled, his fists shaking.

"Re...venge...?" Sasuke's eyes widened. "...for who?"

"My...dad..." Sora's voice was shaky. "Why...are you so damn annoying? Why are you asking me these questions? WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SHUT UP WHEN YOU KNOW NOTHING!?!?!?"

"Know nothing?" Sasuke scoffed.

Sora glared at him.

"You think you suffered more..." Sasuke tilted his head, killer intent leaking out of him as his sharingan spun wildly. "...so pathetic. You disgust me."

Sora's eyes widened.

"Fuck all this. Go wander off on your own. I don't give a single shit if you die or anything," Sasuke said before disappearing.

"Tsk...stupid Konoha nin..." Sora growled as he stepped on a stone, shattering it. "What the hell does he know?"

"Oii!!!!" A voice shouted from his right. He turned to see a few males his age with a huge dog walking over, all with Konoha headbands on them. "Who are you? Never seen you here!!!"

"...Sora," Sora answered.

"You're the one from the fire temple?" Shino asked.

"...What do you want?" Sora narrowed his eyes.

"Have you seen someone by the name Sasuke Uchiha? His teammate is looking for him," Choji said.

"Oh, yeah, that jerk was supposed to be accompanying me but then he left after calling me pathetic," Sora spat out. "Well then, why don't you guys give me a tour? You seem nicer than them, fatso."

Kiiller intent flooded the air.

"I...AM NOT FAT!!!!"

It was late at night in Konoha when ninjas were gathered in front of the Hokage mansion.

"Protect the civilians, at fight off the enemies. Now, scatter!!!" Tsunade ordered.

"Tsunade-sama, reports say that Sora has a part of the Kyuubi's chakra in him and he's taking part in the invasion. Although he's only a half jinchuriki, we can't fight a jinchuriki without one!!!" Shizune frowned.

"I know..." Tsunade growled as she bit her thumb in thought.

"That you don't need to worry," a hooded figure said as he sat on an electricity pole.

"Who are you!?" Tsunade demanded, getting into a fighting stance.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to attack," The hooded figure said. "After I colect what belongs to me, I'll leave immediately."

"Tsunade-sama!!! Asuma-san sucessfully eliminated one of the reanimations from the four coffins!!! We only have the Sora to take care of!!!" Sakura shouted, running towards the Senju.

She paused when she saw the figure on the electrictiy pole.

"Oh....hi," the figure waved and stood up, dusting his pants. "Well, I'll be going then. You owe me one for saving Konoha, Hokage."

With that, the figure disappeared in a flash.

"Go after him!" Tsunade ordered.

"Hai, Hokage-sama!" Sakura said and ran towards where Sora supposingly was.

"Hello there," the hooded figure smiled as he faced Sora who was now covered in the red Kyuubi chakra.

"Who are you!? Don't go near him!!! He'll kill you!!!!" Ino yelled, sweat dripping down her face.

"Kill? I don't think so," the figure shrugged. "Anyways, come at me, doggy."

Sora growled before launching himself at the figure who dodged at high speed.

Growling, a fourth tail grew out of Sora as his skin started to rip off.

"My, oh my. How amusing," the figure smiled as a black ball started to form at Sora's mouth.

"Not good....retreat!!!!" Asuma ordered, running away.

"What!? But- We have to help that guy!!!" Ino shouted.

"We don't have time, Ino!!!" Sasuke growled as he ran. Ino's eyes widened.

"F-Fine," Ino glared at Sasuke before running.

Sora launched the black ball at the figure.

Everything happened as if in slow motion.

The figure raised up his arm.

The ball almost it his palm....

...until it was absorbed.

"Guys...." Choji pointed at the fight.

"He...absorbed it?" Asuma's eyes widened.

"Good, but not good enough," tthe figure said. "Now, be a good boy and come here."

Sora roared before launching himself at the figure.

"HE'S GOING TO DIE!!!!" Ino screamed at Asuma.

"We can't just jump in!!!" Asuma shouted at her. "We'll get killed too!!"

Just then, wood shot out from the ground, restraining Sora.

"I-I can't hold him for long," sweat dripped down Yamato's forehead.

The figure turned to them. "You guys are really annoying aren't you...you get it the way of everything I do..."

"I should just...." The figure put his hand on Sora's head, absorbing all the Kyuubi chakra until Sora went limp, barely conscious. The Konoha ninjas and Kazuma gasped in shock. "...kill you after all."

The figure made a handsign with one hand.

"Single-handed signs?" Asuma's eyes widened.

Fire was blewn out of the figure's mouth.

Quickly, Asuma casted a wind jutsu, blowing the fire away. 'That's it? Being able to stop Sora and that's the fireball as big as he can blow?'

The fire burnt away the figure's cloak, making him click his tongue in annoyance. "Man, that was a new cloak..."

He pulled his cloak off.

"Welp. I guess it can't be helped. Hey again, Kinoe nii-san!!!!"

Their breath was again caught in their throats.

"N-Naruto," Ino stammered. "You're really alive?"

"I...told you..." Sweat dripped down Sasuke's forehead.

Ch.5

"So, Sasuke, do you want our fight right here?" Naruto asked.

"Naruto...stop this madness. Come back," Sasuke pleaded.

"No. I'll kill all of those who tried to kill me back then...and I'll come back," Naruto said. "And when I come back..." he licked his lips. "...I'll destroy all of Konoha."

Their eyes widened in shock. "W-What?"

"Yeah, you heard me right," Naruto shrugged. "First, I'll destroy the Akatsuki and Orochimaru, then you guys," Naruto grinned.

"Naruto...you're out of your mind," Ino said in horror.

"Well, I'm not the one who drove myself insane," Naruto shrugged. "Well, I got what I wanted. I'll be leaving~!"

"WAI-"

Before Sasuke could finish, Naruto disappeared in a flash.

"That's the hiraishin," Asuma noted. "He...knows of his heritage I guess."

"His heritage?" Ino frowned in confusion.

"I guess it won't do any harm to tell you guys about it now..." Asuma sighed.

"Asuma-san...are you sure?" Yamato asked.

"He can defend himself, can't he? He can even fight against Orochimaru," Asuma said. "Naruto's father...is the Yondaime Hokage."

"WHAT!?!?!?"

"I didn't see your friend, so if you saw him, thank him for me, okay, you stupid Uchiha?" Sora grinned.

At the mention of Naruto, Sasuke's expression darkened a little. "Yeah...okay."

"Well, bye!!!" Sora grinned before running off.

"Bye, Sora!!!" Sakura waved.

"Hn. Let's go. I still have a new jutsu to complete with Kakashi."

Time Skip

"Oii!!! When are we getting there!?!? I'm so fucking tired!!" A voice yelled.

"Stop being so annoying...or I'll kill you." Another voice said.

"Ugh, I said don't give me that," the first voice grumbled. His voice suddenly sweetened. "Ne, Kakuzu. How about I carry that body for you?"

"No. You'll only throw it away," the masked man now known as Kakuzu said.

"Ugh, this sucks," Hidan groaned.

A figure watched them from the shadows and smiled creepily. "Akatsuki."

"Sarutobi-sama....all of the others are rescued," a monk informed. "The others....are all dead, but we can't find Chiriku-sama."

"Got it...thanks," Asuma nodded to the monk. He turned to the rest of the team.

"There's about four bounty stations nearby," Izumo said. "I think we should send teams to each of them."

"That we will do....send a letter to inform the other teams to check the bounty stations," Asuma ordered.

"Hai, Asuma-taichou," Izumo responded.

Shikamaru glanced at Asuma before turning away to stare at the dead bodies of the monks again.

After seemingly a few minutes, Izumo returned. "Asuma-taichou, I've sent all the letters. We're ready to set off now."

"Alright, let's go," Asuma said as the ninjas disappeared into the trees.

"They're not here," Aoba informed.

Ino sighed. "What do we do we the bounty guy?"

"Tie him up. We'll take him to Ibiki later," Aoba ordered.

"Hai," Ino nodded. "Choji, help me find some ropes.

"Got it," Choji answered.

"Aoba," Raido entered the bounty station.

"Yes?" Aoba turned to Raido.

"We are to provide backup to Asuma's team. They encountered the two Akatsuki members."

"ASUMA!!!!" Shikamaru cried out a Asuma fell to his knees, blood trickling down his chin. Kotetsu and Izumo's eyes were wide in horror.

Just then, a flock of crows appeared, distracting Kakuzu and Hidan as Aoba carried Asuma's body to the rooftop.

"Tsk..." Kakuzu narrowed his eyes. "And here I thought I could collect his bounty...let's go, Hidan."

"What!? Ugh, that stupid leader...!!!!" Hidan growled before the two Akatsuki members disappeared.

"We...we were too late..." Aoba frowned.

"A-Asuma-sensei!!!" Ino screamed as she ran over to Asuma.

"Hehehe..." A figure chuckled as he watched them from a tree. "I guess it was best to leave them alive first after all...but still the Akatsuki will die by my hands...and no one else's."

"Sasuke...you must stop focusing on your hand," Kakashi sighed.

"I...know!!!!" Sasuke growled as he made some handsigns. Before he could cast the jutsu, Sakura and Sai appeared from the trees with a shaky sigh.

"K-Kakashi-sensei..." Sakura frowned.

"Yes, Sakura?" Kakashi tilted his head. "You shouldn't be here, you might accidentally get hit by the jutsu too."

"No...Asuma-sensei....is dead."

"Man, I think I lost them," Naruto sighed as he plopped down on a seat, casting a genjutsu on himself so that his face looked perfectly normal.

"Oba-san, can I have three sticks of dango?" Naruto called out.

"Sure, coming right up!!!" A voice answered from inside the small stand.

"Heh...I guess it's worth it if I get some dango," he grinned cheekily as a plate of dango was placed next to him. "Thanks, oba-san!!!"

"No problem, young man. That'll be 2700 ryo," the woman smiled. Naruto took out his Gama-chan and took out the exact amount of that. "There you go, oba-san!!!"

"Hehe...you're such a nice young man, aren't you?" The woman smiled at him, ruffling his hair. She counted the money and gave him 900 ryo. "One of the sticks are on the house," she grinned. "Enjoy!"

Naruto blinked and stared at the stick of dango in his hand. 'Nice...?'

"I'm not...nice..." he muttered, burying his face in his arms.

"I'm a killer now...and I'll forever be..." he looked up at the skies. "Mom and dad would be ashamed of me, wouldn't they?"

"Dearie, you must have your reason, right?" the woman turned to him. His eyes widened. "You...heard...?"

Before the woman could answer, he held a kunai at her throat.

The woman stiffened slightly but then gave him another warm smile. "What's your name, young man?"

"..." Naruto stared at her cautiously. Seeing no signs of ddanger, he reluctantly answered. "...N-Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki."

"Well, Naruto dear," she sat down next to him, making him flinch. "Why...do you kill?"

"For money," Naruto answered. There was silence. "....It was...out of anger. Out of hatred I held towards my past village."

"And why do you hate your village, dearie?" The woman asked.

"....they abused me for something that was out of my control....they called me a demon before I could even remember....they wanted a demon...and I gave them one," Naruto's genjutsu dropped as his eye glowed red.

"...Instead of seeking revenge, I think you should find a new life, dearie," the woman suggested. "I don't mean you run from everything, but more like you find something that makes you happy."

"I can't, I can't!!! If I could, of course I would!!! But now I'm an A-rank criminal in the bingo book, what else could I do!?!?!" Naruto screamed with tears flowing down his cheeks. "F-From the start...I-I just w-wanted to be accepted..."

The woman patted Naruto's back soothingly as he cried into his arms. After a while of crying, Naruto's head dropped as he fell asleep.

The woman stared in sympathy at the bags under his eyes. "How much have you suffered...Naruto?"

Ch.6

Naruto groggily opened his eyes and shot up from his bed immediately. He...slept? How? When? Where? He reached his hand to his kunai pouch and pulled out a kunai.

Cautiously, he pulled open the curtains and bumped into a figure. Alerted, he immediately put a kunai at the figure's neck, only to realise that she was the woman from yesterday.

"Oh...it's you...oba-san..." Naruto put the kunai away. "Sorry."

"It's okay, dearie. Have you slept well?" The woman smiled.

"Yeah...I have..." Naruto smiled slightly. It had been a long time since he slept, and a long time since he slept without having a nightmare or a dream.

"Sit down, dearie. I've prepared some ramen for you," the woman gestured to the dining table.

'But...the Akatsuki...' Naruto frowned. 'I guess that can wait.'

He sat on a chair and watched as the woman carefully placed a bowl of ramen in front of him. "There you go, dearie. Eat up."

Naruto stared at the ramen for a while before wolfing it down quickly. Tears stained his eyes as he thought about Ichiraku. 'No...what am I thinking...I still have to...destroy Konoha.'

"I'm done, oba-san," Naruto said.

"How was it? I haven't made ramen for a long time," the woman chuckled.

"It...was nice. Really good," Naruto grinned.

"Ah, good," the woman smiled. "I'll go wash the dishes."

Naruto stared at her back as he quietly entered the room he slept in. He made the bed and picked up his scroll, slinging it over his shoulder as he quietly opened the window.

"You're leaving, dearie?" the woman asked.

Naruto's eyes widened and he looked down in guilt. "I..."

"It's okay, dearie. Come over here a second," the woman smiled.

Naruto walked slowly towards the woman. His eyes widened in shock as she hugged him tightly, patting his shoulder. "Eat well, Naruto. Remember to get enough sleep, okay? The bags under your eyes make you look terrible."

"Th...Thank you for...uhm...your hospitality, oba-san," Naruto hugged her back.

"The name's Satomi, child," Satomi smiled.

"Hai..Satomi oba-san," Naruto bit his lip, trying to stop his tears from falling.

"Sometimes it's alright to cry, okay? Come to me again if you ever need help," Satomi patted his back soothingly.

"Heh..." Naruto smiled slightly. "Maybe I'd consider settling down somewhere....like you said."

"I certainly hope you do, then," Satomi grinned. "Now, go. I believe you have some unfinished business that you have to complete, right?"

"Yeah," Naruto smiled. "I'll be going then."

"Bye, dearie," Satomi sighed happily. "I'll open the door for you, come on."

The door let out a creak as it opened. Naruto stepped out onto the grass and smiled at Satomi, waving. "Bye, Satomi oba-san!!!"

"Live happily, Naruto!!!" Satomi waved back.

Naruto glanced back at her again before jumping through the trees. 'I need to find those two.'

Naruto sniffed the air and ran forward a few steps. He smirked as he spotted two figures in black cloaks. "Found them."

A double-edged scythe appeared in his hand. Just as he was about to charge forward, he was blocked by three- no four, figures.

"Don't move," A kunai was pressed against his neck from behind. "Are you...the Mad Reaper?"

"Hmm...let me guess....Kakashi Hatake?" Naruto tilted his head slightly, blood flowing down his neck as the Kunai cut his skin.

"Don't. Move." Kakashi repeated. "Is it you...Naruto?"

"Bingo~ One point for Kakashi Hatake!" Naruto grinned. "Now, would you kindly fuck off?"

"You're coming with us," Kakashi said.

Naruto pouted. "Such meanies. The demon just wanted to see something else than his own blood, ttebayo."

Kakashi eyes widened slightly. He looked away in guilt.

Using this chance, Naruto jumped away, not minding if the kunai cut his skin. "Ooh, that'll make a cool scar. Thanks, Hatake."

"Naru-chan...please," Kakashi frowned.

'Naru...chan?' Team 10 thought.

"Naru-chan?" Naruto tilted his head. "Naru-chan is dead, Kakashi. Sasuke Uchiha killed him. He pushed him into the darkness, and I only gladly accepted him."

"What do you mean?" Ino asked.

"I...am anger. I am Naruto's darkness." Naruto swung his scythe. "With the Kyuubi mixed in me...I am the true incarnation of hatred."

"You've gone mad...Naruto," Ino frowned.

"As I said, I'm not the one who drove myself insane," Naruto squatted down on one legas he got into a fighting stance and sprung forward with his scythe. "Now die!!!"

"We'll have to retreat..." A sweat ran down Shikamaru's head. "The Akatsuki are aiming for Naruto. The other two ahead might attack when we or Naruto can't fight. Especially you, Kakashi sensei. Your bounty is much higher than Asuma's."

"Let's leave them to Naruto," Ino suggested.

"What? He'll get..." Kakashi paused and sighed. 'Naru-chan...' "I guess I have no right to help a rogue who's plotting to destroy Konoha..."

Naruto's eyes widened as Kakashi's words rang in his head.

Kakashi's eyes widened as he narrowly dodged. 'His speed...'

Purple chakra surrounded Naruto. "You said...you said....you said....."Naruto looked up, his eyes meeting Kakashi's. "...You'd care forever.."

Kakashi's eyes widened.

At that moment, Naruto's eyes weren't filled with anger...nor hatred.

"Kakashi onii-chan..." little Naruto looked up to meet his eyes.

As Kakashi was brought back to reality, he could feel pain on his chest.

It felt like fire.

It felt like flames burning within you, hurting you so badly.

That was what Naruto felt as the purple chakra surrounded him.

As he swung his scythe towards Kakashi, his vision blurred.

He was crying.

"Ka...shi...nii." Naruto looked up. "...Do you love me?"

"Naru...chan?" Kakashi spoke weakly with slightly wide eyes.

Naruto's rage.

Kakashi's words.

Everything.

They were suddenly...all gone.

Naruto smiled. A sad smile. "I'm sorry...."

Naruto channeled chakra to Kakashi's wound and lept away. Kakashi fell down unconscious.

His eyes widened.

I'm...sorry?

Why the heck did he say that?

Why should he be sorry?

He sneered at the Konoha nins. "Huh, I'll spare you this time. Get he fuck outta here. Those two are mine."

"Shikamaru...what do we do?"Choji whispered.

"Let's retreat," Shikamaru said.

Ino was about to protest but frowned. Even if the three of them worked together, there was no possible way they could beat him. Naruto defeated Team Kakashi and absorbed the Kyuubi chakra from Sora. All by himself.

With Choji carrying Kakashi's body, the three disappeared.

"I'm...not really in a good mood today," Naruto slowly turned around. "So come on out, you two."

The two Akatsuki members appeared with their eyes narrowed at Naruto.

"Heh, so this is the Kyuubi Jinchuriki?" Hidan asked.

"And the Mad Reaper...." Kakuzu muttered. "...with a bounty of 45 million ryou...that's almost half of the copy ninja's bounty...But it seems he will be harder to fight than the copy ninja."

"Glad to know you acknowledge me as someone stronger than the Hatake," Naruto smirked slightly.

"You're the one who almost tied with the snake sannin, aren't you?" Kakuzu narrowed his eyes.

"Indeed," Naruto swung his scythe. "A fellow scythe user here...isn't that nice. I haven't seen someone other than me who uses a scythe for quite some time."

"Heh, whoever you are though, I'll sacrifice you to Jashin-sama!!! Kakuzu, don't intefere!!!" Hidan grinned maniacally.

"Let's see about that, then," Naruto got into a defensive stance as Hidan charged at him.

The two scythes clashed.

"Jashin, huh. I once thought about being a Jashinist but decided not to," Naruto spoke. "Your name, Hidan, was it?"

"Heh, what's yours, brat?" Hidan smirked.

Naruto backflipped, landing right behind Hidan. "Naruto Uzumaki."

Before Naruto could slice his head off, his hands were tied up by strings. Naruto narrowed his eyes at Kakuzu. 'Kakuzu and Hidan...the Zombie duo who are both said to be immortal.'

'These strings...don't break easily...' Naruto thought as he tried to move his hands.

"Get him, Hidan. But don't kill him yet," Kakuzu said.

"No killing!? Fine!!!" Hidan rolled his eyes. He smirked before launching himself at the blonde who only gave him an emotionless stare. "You're done, Naruto Uzumaki!!!"

Kakuzu's strings were slowly, and almost unoticably, burnt off by the purple chakra. 'So I can burn these with the mixed chakra...I guess that's enough information for now.'

Hidan's scythe was pierced through Naruto's chest. Blood splattered on Hidan's face as he grinned maniacally.

Kakuzu sighed. "Did the brat kill him...?"

"HAHAHA!!!!! WHAT A LOSER!!!! HE'S FINISHED SO-" Before Hidan could finish, he found the blade of Naruto's scythe pierced through his own chest.

Naruto gave a dark smile, his eyes slightly shaded as he kicked Hidan in the head. "I'm just returning the favor so...no hard feelings, okay?"

Hidan coughed out blood as his eyes widened. 'Didn't I just...'

"The one you killed just now was a blood clone," Naruto punched Hidan into the ground and stepped on him, pulling his hair back. The Jashinist screamed out threats and curses directed at the blonde, not very happy about having his hair pulled back by a brat.

"You only depend on your immortality which is what makes you so easy to defeat," Naruto yanked the Jashinist's hair harder. He swung his scythe.

"Oi!!!! Kakuzu!!!!" Hidan yelled. 'Why aren't you helping!!?!?"

Kakuzu didn't say anything.

"Your immortality will be lost if you stop sacrificing for a week, right?" Naruto tilted his head. "Well then....have a good sleep, cause you're never waking up again."

'That brat...never learns,' Kakuzu sighed and glared coldly at Naruto, 'shooting' out a fist at the blonde.

Naruto ducked down only for him to be punched in the face by Kakuzu's other hand, resulting in himself toppling down and away from the Jashinist.

"It seems your partner is joining the fight..." Naruto wiped some blood off his chin and grinned. "Well...entertain me."

Ch.8

Kakashi sat on a bench as he stared at the setting sun.

"Kakashi nii-san!!!" Naruto ran over in excitement.

"Hm, Naru-chan?" Kakashi turned to his left to see his 'brother' running towards him in his new chunin vest.

"Stop calling me that," Naruto pouted. "I'm a chunin already!!! Anyways, didn't you say you were going to tell me who's my mom and dad?" Naruto grinned. Kakashi's eyes widened slightly. "...yeah..."

"So? So? So?" Naruto sat beside him, legs swinging.

Kakashi glanced at him and sighed. "Your parents....were....The fourth Hokage...and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki."

Naruto froze.

"So...my dad was your sensei..." Naruto muttered. Kakashi's stared at his 'brother'.

"Then...you could've came sooner."

Kakashi's eyes widened.

"Liar...." Naruto's other eye turned red. "YOU'RE A LIAR!!!!"

Kakashi shot up from his bed, sweat dripping down his face. Seeing the curtains and bedside table, he immediately recognised this place as the hospital.

"Naruto..."

"Chidori stream!!!" Sasuke screamed as lightning shot at ten targets, missing four. He clicked his tongue in annoyance before straightening his body, hands running through handsigns.

Just as he was about to cast his jutsu, Sakura walked over.

"Hey, you forgot that we're visiting Kakashi-sensei," Sakura said.

Sasuke deactivated his sharingan and nodded at her. "We'll head there after I clean up."

"So Naruto did..." Sakura sighed. Kakashi nodded. "You shouldn't get distracted during a fight, Kakashi-sensei. If it we'ren't for that weird healing, you wouldn't have woken up this fast."

"Hai, hai," Kakashi eye smiled. "Anyways, how's the training going, Sasuke?"

"...Hn (I don't want to talk about it.) ."

Sakura and Kakashi sweatdropped. 'What does that mean...'

The door opened as Shikamaru walked in with Choji and Ino.

"Oh hey, Sakura, Sasuke. Afternoon, Kakashi-sensei," Choji greeted.

"What a drag...the Uchiha's here too...." Shikamaru muttered under his breath, eyeing Ino.

"Hey, Sakura! Kakashi-sensei! I brought some flowers for you, arranged them myself!!!" Ino greeted, placing some flowers by his bedside.

"Hn (Who cares)...." Sasuke glanced at Ino before looking away again.

"We're coming i-" Kiba walked inside and glanced at Sasuke. "Oh, the jerk's here."

"Hn (You're the jerk.)," Sasuke stood up and moved away from them, earning a frown from Sakura.

"Oh, you guys are here too," Hinata smiled as she came in with Shino.

"I didn't know I'm so famous," Kakashi eye-smiled.

"Meh, we had nothing to do today's our day off so we came here together," Kiba shrugged. "We're going to Yakiniku Q later, so we decided to come here before we went there."

"I don't want to-"

"I don't care!!!" Tenten shouted as she pushed Neji in with Lee coming in from behind.

"I want herring soba...." he muttered under his breath, standing in a corner.

"Afternoon, Kakashi-sensei!!!" Lee saluted youthfully.

"A-Ah, Afternoon," Kakashi eye-smiled.

"So, who injured the mighty copy ninja?" Kiba grinned.

"Kiba! Be polite!" Hinata said quietly.

Kakashi sweatdropped. "It's uh....The...Mad Reaper."

"The mad what?" Kiba tilted his head.

He then froze.

Everyone in the room froze except for Sakura who frowned and Sasuke who was just staring out of the window without any emotions in his eyes.

"S-So...It's...Naruto." Kiba broke out of the silence. "I guess he....really changed."

"Hm," Kakashi hummed.

"Why um...did you call Naruto Naru-chan, Kakashi-sensei? We've never heard you call him that before," Ino asked.

"Oh...that..." Kakashi exhaled quietly. "I guess you can call us as close as brothers, back then."

"Back then?" Kiba tilted his head.

"When he was, 3 years old." Kakashi eye-smiled.

"Oh."

There was another knock on the door as Gai entered. "I have news, my youthful rival!!!!"

"Hm? Gai?" Kakashi head turned to the Green Beast.

"The Zombie Duo of the Akatsuki are eliminated by the Mad Reaper!!!"

Their eyes widened.

"Goddamn immortals....fuck you....die...kill....I'll kill you...." Naruto growled, dragging two bodies behind him. An amused smirked appeared on his face. "Oh wait one's already dead. Two....just two more weeks....Ha...."

His eyes widened as he dropped on his knees, coughing out blood. He wiped the blood away with his hand covered in his and the other two's blood. "Fuck you..."

An eye snapped open. "Fucking....BRAT!!!!!! UZUMIKI OR WHATEVER, LET ME GO YOU BRAT!!!!!" Hidan screamed.

"Oh stupid me....I could use seals..." Naruto blinked as he sealed Kakuzu and Hidan's body up, dragging the Jashinist's head.

"AHHH FUCK YOU!!!!!!! THAT FUCKING HURTS YOU- BRAT!!!!!!!! LET ME GO!!!!!! I'LL FUCKING SACRIFICE YOU TO JAS-"

Before he could say anything else, Naruto flashed out a kunai, a sadictic smirk on his face.

The Uzumaki squatted down and pointed a kunai at the Jashinist's eye. "Eyes wide for me, Hidan~"

"No...NO AGH FUCK YOU YOU BRAAAATTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Hidan screamed as The Uzumaki slowly cut his left eyeball's surface.

Hidan panted, growling at Naruto as blood flowed down his face from his left eye.

"Immortals....so fun to play with," Naruto grinned. "Your partner gave me this wound," Naruto pointed at a slowly healing large gash on his back. "This wound," he pointed at his wounded cheeks. "And this," he pointed at three of his toes that were cut off.

"He had a painless death, so it's only fair that you pay for his doings, isn't it?" Naruto stood up, pulling Hidan's head by his hair as he limped down the paths.

"The last time I've been so hurt was during the second last fight with Orochimaru..." he grinned. "Akatsuki...you guys are such nice toys to play with. I wonder how exciting my next fight will be?"

Ch.9

2 weeks later

"Your mission is to eliminate the Mad Reaper."

"That one who killed Hidan and Kakuzu, un?"

"Correct."

"Hah, knew they'd die someday," Deidara scoffed.

"Set off immediately."

"Hai, hai," Deidara rolled his eyes. "And who am I going with?"

"You're going with Kisame this time. Tobi, you are to hunt down the Three Tailed beast with Itachi."

"Hai, leader-sama!"

"Hai."

Screams could be heard in the hot springs.

Drip.

Blood splattered all over the wooden walls.

"W-Why are you doing this!?" The receptionist's lips quivered in fear

"The...." Naruto smiled as he pulled off his hood, his face covered in blood.

The receptionist's lips quivered.

"The clouds...." Naruto squatted down. "...were white today."

The receptionist's eyes widened.

Blood poured onto the ground.

He smiled in satisfaction as he took of his clothes and stepped into the warm water.

He carefully wiped the blood off the blades of his scythe, staring at the white clouds with a smile.

"A small town near Yugakure has been attacked, your mission is to investigate the incident and send help to the remaining survivors. The daimyo of the land of Steam will tell you the details when you arrive," Tsunade read from a file.

"Troublesome....who would do this..." Shikamaru muttered.

"But don't they have their own shinobi?" Ino asked.

"Yes, but they only have a few chunin and genin level shinobi, and a lot were killed," Tsunade sighed. "They are known for their hot springs and most of the tourists left after the incident. The villagers are working together to repay us with their potatoes."

"Oh..." Ino frowned.

"This mission is only to investigate, so your senseis won't be with you. You are to set off after 30 minutes. Dismissed!"

The Land of Steam was a place filled with life and joy, carnivals and hotels here and there. That was what the Konoha 12 thought the last time they headed there on their week off.

Team 7 and Team 10 were half surprised to see no one on the streets when they arrived.

"It's so quiet here..." Choji whispered.

"All the people are in their houses," Ino informed.

They walked further into the village and stopped as they saw a man exiting a shop with full paper bags.

"Sir!!!" Sakura called out with a wave. The man looked over and widened his eyes before running away.

"Huh?" Sakura frowned.

"Let's go inside," Ino suggested.

The six entered the shop, making the shop owner flinch. "W-Welcome."

"Um, hi sir, do you know where we can meet the daimyo?" Ino asked. "We're shinobi from Konoha who came here to help."

The shop owner's eyes widened. "T-The Land of Fire?" They nodded. The man knelt down, crying tears of joy. "Oh, thank you! We really thought you wouldn't come, please, come here and take anything you want if you need it, anytime!!!"

"S-Sir..." Ino gasped lightly.

"M-My name is Tadao Harada, it is an honour to meet you!" the man grinned. "Please wait here, I'll have my wife guide you to Daimyo-sama's mansion!"

"Arigato, Harada-san," Ino smiled at the woman.

"No, we should be the ones thanking you," The woman smiled back.

"See you late, Harada-san! Stay safe!" Choji waved.

"You too," the woman bowed.

"Good evening, shinobi-san," A servant bowed to them as they entered the mansion. "Please wait here a while as daimyo-sama is currently helping out in the farm, we'll send someone to inform him about your arrival."

'A daimyo helping out in the farm? If only Madam Shijimi were that kind to catch her cat herself...' Sakura thought with a sweatdrop.

Naruto let out a sigh as he stepped out of the house in a clean set of kimono. He placed a henge on himself to look like a normal person before heading into town for some food.

"Have you seen a brat that looks like this?" A bald man asked as he raised up a picture of a boy with spiky blonde hair to a farmer.

"Yeah, he came asking for food just now, he looked poor so I let him in. He headed to the Land of Steam after that...." The farmer sighed. "Poor boy, I hope he didn't get killed."

"Un, I see," the man next to the bald man nodded.

"We'll get going then," the bald man said. "Sorry to bother you."

"I'm glad to help," the farmer nodded.

After walking quite some distance away, the two released their henges, revealing themselves to be Deidara and Kisame.

"So he's the one who attacked that village," Kisame stuffed the pciture in his Akatsuki robe.

"Whatever, un. It's not like it's hard," Deidara rolled his eyes.

"He looks like you, Deidara."

"The heck, un? He's so ugly, he's nothing like me."

Some time later

"My god..." Ino let out a light gasp as she covered her mouth. "T-This is terrible..."

They were shinobi, they had killed, they had seen dead bodies. But this, this is just horrible.

Words painted on the wall in red with blood splattered everywhere, flesh in slices placed on cracked plates, organs and fingers littered everywhere on the ground.

It was disgusting, even for Sasuke.

He breathed in and out before squatting down and starting to inspect the wounds and blood. 'If only Kakashi were here.'

"What are you standing there for? Start looking around, you boneheads," Sasuke sent a glance to the others.

"S-Shut up, you jerk..." Ino muttered before heading to the girls shower room which was also filled with blood and dead bodies.

"Hello, shinobi-san. We're from the Yugakure hospital and here to help," a few woman and men in robes came in from the door, bowing to the Konoha shinobi.

"Oh, hi," Sakura turned to them.

"We'll be taking some samples of the blood for investigation, if you don't mind," A woman smiled.

"O-Oh! Of course," Sakura stepped aside with a smile.

"All the ones here are dead," Ino informed.

"Hey, Ugly, Gorgeous," Sai called out. Sakura grew a tick mark while Ino blushed. "I found a few wounded ones nearby. They're still alive, most are unconscious."

Their eyes widened. "Let's go!"
