It was a Gorgeous Morning as the Sun rose up in Toon Town. The sunlight Went through Mickey Curtains in between, hitting his face. He groan as the sun hit his eyes, then his alarm ringed, he turned it off with his hanging arm. He stood up from his bed and stretched. He got off from bed and opened his curtains, "What a Beautiful Morning!" He said as he started to do his bed. He changed into his regular clothes (shorts) and put in his Bright yellow shoes. He then stopped in the middle of his room, 'There isn't much to do today so I'm free to do things' he said in his mind. He decided to stay home and read one of his Favorite books, Alice in the Looking Glass. He got the book and sat on his bed and made himself comfy by placing his pillow in front of him, and then put his book in front of him. He started reading for about 35 minutes, and read 7 chapters during that time. Then he heard voices And Light shimmering threw his Mirror above his fireplace. He looked up from his book and saw a figure from the Mirror, it was Oswald, "Hey Mick!" Oswald said while placing his hands on the mirror from the other side of his world. Mickey's ears twitched in surprise, His older Brother is finally talking to him for the last 2 years after he was sent back to the real world. He placed a book mark on the page he was on and closed it and pushed it aside. And got off of bed and climbed on the fireplace (of course it's off) to the mirror. "Oh hey Oswald, How are you?" Asked Mickey in Excitement. "Well Good as always, hey, Me And Ortensia were thinking if you would like to come to Wasteland for a while like a month, it's been 2 years since we've  last seen each other," asked Oswald with a chuckle. He chuckled back, "Yeah I suppose so, I guess I can arrange that to come see you guys,  I also have to pack things if I'm going," said Mickey while looking around his room. "No need, we have all of your stuff here similar to yours on your side Mick," said Oswald while crossing his arms. "Oh okay, I guess I should tell my other friends about this but say I'm going on a Trip for a month," said Mickey while scratching his front hair. "Sounds good to me, in the mean time, Gus will help us fix the mirror so you can walk to us, tomorrow we'll be ready tomorrow for you to come, " said Oswald as he made a thumbs up. "Oh gosh, okay then, I guess I'll talk with you tomorrow, I need to tell my friends about the news then," said Mickey as he placed his hands on the mirror, "Okay then talk to you tomorrow then Little bro," did Oswald as his voice became faint and the mirror turned back to normal. Mickey jumped down from the Fireplace shelf and ran to his front door, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald, were to busy at the moment so the only person he could tell and tell the others where he was, is Minnie. Pluto was taking a nap so He would be back probably in 10-15 minutes, he walked to Minnie's house which was only 1 block away where he was. Toons waved at him and greeted as he stroll by, he finally got to Minnie's home and knocked on her door. The door opened, "Hello- Oh! Mickey so nice to see you," said Minnie as she hugged him and gladly hugged her back, "Hey Minnie, am I interrupting you at the moment?" He asked, "Oh no, not at all is there something you came here for or tell me something?" She asked. "Well yeah, I was thinking, I'm going on a trip alone to take a break for a while, I've been busy ever since we've been making new Cartoons and I'm pretty tired so is it okay if you can tell the others when they come back, that I'm going on a trip for a month?" He asked Worriedly. She thought about it, "Of course Mickey, you've  been lately tired after all, I'll tell the others but what about Pluto?" She asked. He thought of what he could do with Pluto, "Um, is it okay if you can take care of him while I'm gone?" He asked nervously, "Of course Mickey, he's a good boy after all," she replied with a giggle. "Okay then, I'll go get Pluto then, be right back Minnie," Said Mickey as he ran to his house, "Okay Mickey!" She replied. Mickey ran to his House as fast as he could, he was happy that Minnie could take care of Pluto while being in Wasteland and tell the others he'll be on a trip for a month. When he opened his door and Pluto ran to him, "Heya Pluto, we are going to pack your things okay boy," Mickey said while ruffling his Head, Pluto Wines as in 'Why?', "Reason is, I'm going on a trip alone to take a break, I'm getting a bit tired of working around the studio so I'm going to do that okay, I hope you can understand pal," he said in a upset expression. Pluto thought about and nodded, he had seen Mickey tired and he sure needs a break. "Thank you Pluto, come on let's pack your stuff and take you to Minnie's, she's going take care of you," said Mickey as they both started to pack. They finally got Pluto's stuff packed and got ready to leave the house, when they finally reached to Minnie's house, she was waiting on her front porch for them. After Minnie got Pluto's stuff in, She and Pluto went outside to say goodbye to Mickey. "You be a good boy Pluto while I'm away okay," said Mickey while Patting his head and hugged him. He then turned to Minnie and Hugged her, "Thank you Minnie, for This," he said as she returned the hug, "Its no problem, I'm always glad to help," she said as he kissed his cheek, he gasped in Surprise and chuckled it off. "Oh gosh, how may I ever thank you like this Minnie?" Asked Mickey with a smile. "Well then, I should better leave now to get packing," he said as walked down the porch. "Alright Mickey take care and hope to see in a month," said Minnie as kneeled down to hug Pluto. "Sure will Minnie, bye love you!" He said as he ran to his home. "Come on Pluto, let's go make dinner," said Minnie as she led him to her house. Mickey finally made it home and sighed in relief, he finally was alone to go to Wasteland, nobody else knew about his mirror going to another world so he should be safe for now, now what Mickey had to do is pack some stuff and wait for Oswald to call him the next day. So he just packed some books, this phone ,(this story, toons and other characters have phones), extra cloths and the magic paint brush that Yen Sid let him keep for emergencies and put them in his small suit case. When night came, he changed into his night clothing and brushed his teeth before going to bed. When he yawned and went to bed he looked at the mirror on last time, before falling asleep, "See you guys tomorrow....", he said as he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
