Maddie had gotten older and was now 12 years old and her family was going to ruins more and more. She could hear her Mom yelling at her Dad when they thought she was asleep. Her brother Chad, had grown distant from her, taking joy in drugs. The little girl has taken quite the interest in computers, and she was learning how to edit. Her father gave her very own laptop so she could edit his videos! Her father was always caring for her and very generous, unlike the other people in her household. Today Dad was supposedly working late and she was at her laptop, editing away. Tonight she could her mother's moans.

Marriage is supposed to be permanent, you're supposed to be faithful. Apparently Mom didn't like that fact and got tired of Dad. The question is, would this noise be better than hearing her mom yell at her dad?

Maddie have gotten better at controlling her emotions and just about never cried anymore, instead she wore a mask all of the time, emotionless. Almost doll like. Her mom forced her to and she did it for her dad, she would never want to ruin his reputation.

Maddie still didn't have any friends though, she was like one of those toys that are bought for Christmas but never get played with, just left in an untouched dollhouse with a layer of dust.

Today Maddie had to cook dinner, which was pretty good if it wasn't for all of the arguing between the family. 'Please never let them see what goes down in the kitchen' Maddie thought to herself. She wanted to make friends, and didn't want to ruin the little of a chance that she had. 'Please don't let them look through the curtains.'
