Winter Vacation was over and the students were back in school.

Today was the day that the freshman class has gym with Ms. Fontain the nurse and gym teacher, also the dorm adviser for the Obelisk girls.

"Alright everyone, get your game on! Tennis game that is." Ms. Fontain laughed as the students played.

Right now Aira, Syrus, Alexis, Jasmine and Mindy play tennis.

Aira and Syrus were against Jasmine and Mindy while Alexis was up against another student.

"This day is the worst." Aira whine. "I had enough of tennis."

"I agree with ya there." Syrus said as he tried to hit the tennis ball back.

Back to the tennis match game, Aira and Syrus were having trouble against the Obelisk girls.

Well mostly Syrus, Aira was not having a good time.

"Come on, would someone tell me what does tennis have to do with dueling?" Aira asked as Syrus returned the ball.

"Everything!" Mindy replied. "Taking turns, thinking on your feet and the more you play..." She paused for a moment to hit the ball in the air, heading right for Aira. "...the better you'll do!"

"In that case..." Aira leaped into the air to deal a powerful strike, but at a bad angle as the tennis ball curved away from the court she was at to the neighboring one, and it was about to hit someone...

"I think you over did this one Ai." Tsukimon said.

"That she did." Lowemon nodded.

"It's heading towards someone." Agunimon pointed.

Aira eyes widen seeing the direction of the tennis ball, "Alexis! Heads up!" She yelled out.

That was when a blur came from one of the other courts and appeared in front of Alexis, swinging a blue racket which smashed the incoming tennis ball away with impressive force, sending it to where Dr. Crowler was sitting in the judges chair and was hit in the face yet again.

Lobomon sweat dropped, "That guy just had the worst luck."

Sakuyamon sweat dropped as well, "You said it, that guy is a magnet for flying objects."

"Now that you mention it..."

Agunimon and Kazemon thought for a second than laughed.

"Hahaha! I remember the baseball incident." Agunimon laughed.

The one who blocked the shot was now visible, a young man with brown hair wearing a tennis uniform made for Duel Academy, landing a few inches in front of Alexis.

"Thank you..." Alexis said in half–surprise to the guy in front of her.

"Alexis!" Jasmine and Mindy came over to check on her. "You almost got creamed, are you okay?"

"Yeah, would you like me to carry you to the nurse?" The brown–haired guy said, turning to face the girls, flashing Jasmine and Mindy a grin... which ensnared them right off the bat.

"No thanks, I'm fine." Alexis politely answered.

Aira and Syrus ran up to the Obselisk Queen.

"Alexis I'm so sorry." Aira bowed, "Are you okay?"

Alexis smiled at the Slifer Queen, "I'm fine, don't worried about it."

The male turned around seeing the Slifer Queen, he took a good look at the younger girl to see her bright sky blue eyes and long golden blonde hair with red natural highlights, she was almost like the sun.

The lavender gym uniform she wore was different than the other girls, since she wore red and white instead of the lavender and white.

The male stared at her with a dreamy look and a small blush appeared on his cheeks as he looked at her still wondering who she was.

Agunimon and Lobomon left eyebrow twitched noticing that the boy was eyeing Aira.

Joey Wheeler who was relaxing with his friends when suddenly he felt something or someone in this case, he got up and slam his arms the table unconsciously.

Everyone who was with him jumped in shock.

"Joey what the hell man?" Taylor asked.

Joey blinked. "..." He muttered something but not loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Something the matter Joey?" Téa asked.

"..." Joey face turned to a pissed off angry face.

Yugi looks at him and sighs, "Must be Ai." He answered with a frown. "That means Kaiba must be having the same problem."

"What?" Everyone blinked.

"Remember this happen before, Joey acted on instinct like when Serenity is in danger, but in this case... It's Aira, someone must be crushing on her."

Taylor and Duke looked at each other and recalled an incident when Joey acted like this, then gasped... A boy was crushing on Aira before and Joey acted on instinct like Seto Kaiba.

"I remember now and Kaiba came down to check on Ai and that's when the boy asked her out, but she was more like a prize in duelling, that what mostly ticked us off." Téa remembered and explained.

Seto Kaiba was having the same problem but not bad as Joey, he was trying his best not to contact her in the middle of classes.

Mokuba sweat drops at this reaction, 'Ai... What did you get yourself into this time?' He thought.

- Duel Academy - Tennis Court

The two Queens looked at each other in question, "Um, dude? You okay there buddy?" Aira asked frowning as she snapped her fingers in front of his face.

"No, I'm good." He laughed nervously as he scratched the back of his neck.

"It's just that... I haven't seen you around Obelisk Blue before."

Aira blinked, "I'm actually a Slifer Red, I was offered to be put in Ra Yellow but I declined. I like red better and plus I wanted to stay with my friends." She said.

"Wow, that's really sweet of you." The male Obelisk said viewing her as an angel taking her hand.

"This guy got a death wish." Kazemon stated.

"Let me go Beetlemon! Let me kill that guy!"

"Lowemon let me go now! That guy is dead!"

Agunimon and Lobomon were both glaring daggers at the male's back, struggling against the HERO of Thunder and Darkness grip.

Beetlemon and Lowemon held back the Light and Flame HERO from attacking the Obelisk student.

"Dude you need to calm down." Beetlemon struggled.

"Older Brother you need to calm down as well." Tsukimon said next to Lowemon.

"He's lucky that they are not camera's here." Dark Magician Girl said, "Kaiba, Yugi and Joey will be destroying this guy."

"That's true." Dark Magician said.

"Uh, do you mind?" Aira asked making him laugh nervously again as he lets go of her hand and started to walking back swinging his tennis racket around.

"I should get back to my game now. Hey, what was the score?!" He asked running back over to his court and friends.

"That was weird." Alexis said as she stood next to Aira, who has a confused look on her face then she felt flames behind her.

"Don't worry, it's Agunimon." Yubel assured her.

"Okay, but why is he mad?" Aira asked confused by his burning mad flames.

Yubel shook her head in amused, "Nothing."

"AIRA!" Crowler yelled making the HERO duelist jump in shock.

The Obelisk girls and Silfter duo turned to see that Dr. Crowler had a very nasty black eye that Ms. Fontain was helping him out with.

"My officer NOW!" The black eyes man yelled.

"What? Aw man." Aira growned as she walked off, "I'll see ya around."

Syrus waved, "Be safe Ai."

Later on... Crowler heard of what happened to Alexis and when he heard it was Aira who initially made the shot before Rosewood intercepted, he wasn't happy.

Aira was immediately taken to Dr. Crowler's office.

"Nope... still not good enough."

"Oh c'mon, this is ridiculous!"

"I'll tell you what's ridiculous! Firing a shot which harmed an already injured Obelisk student!"

"That wasn't me! It was... What's he's name Rosewood right? He was the one that intercepted that shot and hit you!"

"But you're the one that started it!" Crowler argued.

"Urgh... look if you're gonna punish me, I won't play tennis anymore; I don't even like it."

Crowler smirked at the Slifer, "Well, I got a better fitting punishment for you." He declared. "I'll make you play and under the tutelage of the tennis captain, Harrington Rosewood, to whip you in shape!"

"That Rosewood guy is doom himself. Isn't he?" Chibi Blossom asked.

"Yes." Dark Magician replied.

"Aira is pretty athlete but she doesn't show it." Yubel said.

"That's true, Kaiba practically drilled all the sport game for her." Lowemon said.

"She mostly has fun with her Uncles."

"I'll burn that guy. Rosewood was it." Agunimon grumbled.

"I'll shoot that guy head off." Lobomon muttered.

"I don't believe this..." Aira groaned. "I said I was sorry!" She added.

Crowler just got in his face and said, "And you will be..."

With Alexis she looked to see Mindy and Jasmine approaching her.

Mindy looked like she was so excited she could explode which likely meant that she had a juicy piece of info to share.

Jasmine looked a little bit more apprehensive. That in itself was odd since she was just as much of a chatterbox as her friend.

"What is it you two?" Alexis asked.

"We were doing some digging into that total hottie that was checking you and Aira out!" Mindy giggled. "Well mostly Aira."

"She did the digging, not me." Jasmine cut in.

Ignoring her friend, Mindy continued, "And what we found out was pure gold! Harrington Rosewood is the heir to the Rosewood chain of sporting goods stores! He's handsome, rich, suave, and has an oh so yummy body! Best of all, he's totally into you! Can anyone say 'perfect boyfriend'?"

"Huh?" Alexis said.

"I dunno," Jasmine shook her head. "I don't think Alexis's tastes go for a guy like him. Same with Aira."

"Have I ever been wrong about this?" Mindy asked with a huff.

"Well there was that one time in prep school..."

'Are you two nuts, Aira's uncles will kill this guy if they ever find out.' Alexis thought with a sweat dropped.

Since the day Aira told the gang meaning how she gets around the campus without much trouble; Syrus, Chumley, Bastion, Zane and Alexis about her relationship with Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba group they paled at that the thought of the guy who was hitting on her in front of her adopted uncles and aunties.

Seto Kaiba was the deadly of them all, Mokuba Kaiba explain what happen when Kaiba saw the video that Aoi her robotic bird recorded from the island. The scientist that threatened Aira with guns before, let's just say that he almost destroyed them along with Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Duke Devlin and Marik Ishtar.

From that day on the gang was praying whoever had the guts to do anything to Aira again alive.

Suddenly, Syrus ran past them, looking very flustered. "Oh man oh man oh man!" He said, dashing back and forth across the hallway. "Where's the lousy tennis team?" He then noticed the Obelisks and started to jog in place. "Alexis, do you know where the tennis team meets?"

"It's out on the courts, Syrus." Alexis replied, "Why?"

"The most unfair thing is happening! Dr. Crowler's making the tennis team captain, Harrington Rosewood boss Aira around as punishment for hitting Dr. Crowler!" Syrus said before running off again.

"But it was Rosewood that hit him." Alexis said. "That person is doom, Ai is really athletic girl."

At the tennis courts, Harrington was giving Aira a major workout plan as he kept serving tennis balls at her with amazing speed.

Sure Aira was able to keep up with him during the first few minutes, she was no where near her limits.

Aira also noted that Harrington kept serving faster serves than before.

"Hey, I thought we're just gonna play tennis, not speed drills there buddy." Aira said.

As soon as more tennis balls came in, Aira continued to hit the tennis balls, 'I feel like hitting the tennis be back at this guy head.' She thought.

"Come on Aira, no pain, no gain!" Harrington said, trying his best not to blush but it was failing, "You gotta hustle to build those muscles! You need to sweat to become a threat! If you don't pick up the pace, you'll never win the race!"

"Man and I thought the Paradox Brothers were annoying." Aira muttered out loud, "Alright, enough with the rhyming clichés, I get it!"

"There's no letter 'I' in the word 'Team', Aira!" Harrington said, making some kind of strange pose. "It's the very first rule in tennis!"

Some of Aira's duel monsters sweat dropped at this.

"Even when you're playing singles?" Aira asked confused with the logic.

"Moving along... I think it's time to work on your forehand and backhand. I think 1000 strokes each should help make tennis more your racquet!" Harrington joked. "Get it? Racquet? Racket?"

"Annoying." Aira said.

"I know." Dark Magician Girl said.

Alexis, Syrus, Jasmine and Mindy were currently watching over at the sidelines.

"I get it; this guy's a total nut." Syrus stated. "The clichés, the crazy practicing..."

"You know, now that I think on it, he is a bit obsessive." Jasmine added.

"Let him obsess... over me!" Mindy said, oblivious to the previous two statements.

"You can say that again..." Alexis muttered.

Meanwhile, Aira continued her practice, she was getting really annoyed.

"Ai is about to snap." Alexis pointed out.

Syrus walked up to her, "Hey Aira." He said.

Harrington turned around at that, to see, what he thought was Aira walking up to him now.

"Sorry Aira, I'm all sweaty," Harrington said, as he walked up to Aira. "After all the drill we did-" Harrington said but then noticed he was talking to thin air! "What?! Huh?!"

Aira ignored him and walked over to Syrus, "What's up Sy?" She asked.

"You won't believe what I heard Aira, I ran into Professor Banner and guess what. Someone's seen Chazz!" Syrus exclaimed in surprise.

"No way! Where is he?"

During the conversation, Harrington was both not pleased and to emphasize it, he looked like he had a flaming aura around him.

Harrington walked over to where Syrus and Aira were talking, "HEY TIME OUT!"

Aira and Syrus looked over to see Harrington storming over, Syrus flinched a bit.

"You can't be talking to a first-round pick like Aira!" Harrington argued. "I bet you couldn't return a bucky-whip with some topspin, so just stay away from my Slifer pixie!"

"What?! My Slifer pixie! Dude!" Agunimon exclaimed in disgust, "She doesn't belong to anyone!"

"What?" Aira said, "Slifer pixie?"

Slifer the Sky Dragon growled not liking that name.

"Slifer pixie? Wonder what that would look like anyway?" Tsukimon asked as she imagined the red dragon with colourful butterfly wings falling around with some colourful flowers, she groaned in disgust, "Actually don't imagine; I don't." She said.

"Listen Syrus was it, I'm warning you. Just step away from the beautiful girl. You're way out of your league. Do not make me go athletic on you now." Harrington said with a demonic aura.

"S-Sorry but I need to talk to Ai about this." Syrus said nervously glancing on the ground.

"Ai?!" Harrington got right in the middle of them, forcing Aira to jump back a bit, Syrus who scream in shock. "What is that, some kind of pet name!? Where'd that name come from!? What's it short for!?"

"Dude it's my nickname it's short Aira." Aira replied bluntly.

Harrigton ignored what Aira said, "Sure, you'd like me to believe that, wouldn't you? Well, I don't believe anything you say. Which is why..." He tightened his grip on his racket which the Slifer Queen and Obelisk notice, "This little huddle is over." He said.

Aira was twitching to hit this guy, "Great so beat buddy." The HERO duelist said.

"Sorry princess but I wasn't talking about you." Harrington said and pointed his racket to Syrus, "Know your sports. When a huddle is over, you make your play, you don't run away."

Syrus was scared out of this mind, 'I was only talking to Ai and now I'm in trouble.' He cried anime tears fell down his face.

"He did not call me a princess, I can handle the Paradox Brothers and my uncles but not him!"

"I have a bad feeling where this is going to end up." Moonlight Magician Girl stated.

"Me too." Dark Magician chirped in her answer.

"Agunimon and Lobomon aren't going to like it at all with the rest of the males duel monster spirit." Sakuyamon added.

"WHAT?! WHY?!" HERO of Flame and Light exclaimed.

Aira stepped in front of Syrus, "I get it you want a tennis match, well I'm game." She said.

"Sorry but not that princess." Aira twitched again, "I want a duel with him." Harrington pointed to Syrus with his racket, "The winner becomes Aira's fiancé." He said.

Syrus jaw dropped, "WHAT?!" He exclaimed. 'How did it become like this'

"WHAT?!!!" Everyone exclaimed.

"Excuse me?" Yubel said.

*SNAP!*

"That's it!" Agunimon launch at the male Obelisk but Beetlemon and Dark Magician pulled him back. "LET ME GO YOU TWO!"

"HE'S DEAD!" Lobomon snarled, "LET ME GO!"

"That Harrington guy got a death wish doesn't he." A male voice said from behind, walking into the tennis court behind the Obelisk girls.

"Your telling me Bastion." Alexis said, "Imagine Aira's uncles when they heard about this."

Bastion shivered, "I'm not telling them, I don't think Aira wants them to know either."

Alexis shivered as well, "I know what you mean." She said.

Alexis walked up to them, "Slow down."

"Oh, I just love weddings!" Mindy squealed.

"Yeah, but I'm not sure about arranged ones." Jasmine said.

"Not a good idea." Bastion said.

"What? I can't duel you for Aira's fiancé spot! I see her as my older sister! Are you crazy?!" Syrus exclaimed in fright. "Her uncles will kill you if they ever find out!"

Harrington ignored what Syrus said, "I don't see the problem of you duelling me fo-" Aira cut him off.

"Exactly your not Sy, I am!" Aira declared. "Listen here, Rosewood." She said making the male turn to her with a smile. "If you wanna play this game, then play it with me not Syrus. You'll duel me instead."

Everyone gasped.

"I don't know about that... But it would be a great story to tell our kids one day." Harrington said with a dreamy smile.

"LET ME AT HIM! LET ME KILL HIM! LET ME GO!" Agunimon and Lobomon yelled struggling to get lose from Beetlemon, Dark Magician, Lowemon and Moonlight Magician grip, who is still holding them back, well HERO Darkness and Moonlight Magician join to hold back HERO of Light.

All her dragons growled in anger, only the males one; Moonlight Arcfiend, Moonlight Wing Dragon, Moonlight Star Dragon, Slifer the Sky Dragon, Three Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Blue-Eyes Shinning Dragon.

Beetlemon groans, "Not them too! Help us out here would you!" He shouted to the other duel spirits, they are calm but angry on the inside.

The duel monster girls watched on the side lines with sweat drops appearing on that back of their heads.

"So whose gonna tell her uncles?" Tsukimon brought up the subject.

"I'm not." Dark Magician Girl shook her head.

"Sorry but no way, we are all spirits but I don't have a death wish yet." Moonlight Magician Girl said.

"Isn't one of Yugi's duel monster spirit going to tell him though?" Sakuyamon asked confused.

"Ah..."

"Poor Aira, she attracts the weirdest people's." Yubel said amused.

Aira gagged, "You better be ready Rosewood, because I'm no push over and there will be no wedding." She said and grabbed her disk that Syrus handed over.

Harrington grabbed his own duel disk and deck as the two stood way from each other on the other court.

"Alright. You ready?" Harrington asked determined to win ask impress his Slifer pixie.

"Get your game on!" Aira said.

"DUEL!" Both duelist said.

"He's stupid." Alexis said, making everyone look at her.

"Alexis is right." Bastion nodded.

"Aira sees Syrus as a little brother and same with Syrus, he sees her as another older sibling other than Zane." Alexis explained. "Aira is really protective of Syrus, so it's natural instinct that's she protect him."

"What?" Mindy and Jasmine said in shock.

"Is that true Syrus?" Jasmine asked the little bluenette.

Syrus nodded, "Yes, I see Ai as my olde sister. Why do you think I call her big sister from time to time?" He glanced nervously at the duel, 'Her uncles and aunties sees no problem with it.'

"This wedding is cancel." Bastion said.

The girls awed in the beautiful water Phoenix on the field.

"I'm not done, next I activate her special ability allowing me to summon another monster with the same attack points or level from my hand and I pick Moonlight Crystal Wing Bird!" A dark portal appeared on the field and a red gazed flew out showing her red bird with black crystal on his and has feathery wings and tail.

A young man in his early 30's in a white tennis uniform with a white sweat band on his forehand appeared.

All-Court Server Roger Federer:

"Ugh... and here we go..." Jasmine sighed.

Roger Federer threw a tennis ball in the air and sent it flying towards Aira making the latter protect herself with the duel disk.

Aira: 4000 - 600 = 3400

Harrington: 4000

"Aw yeah, 15–Love! And here's the sweet part. Every time he attacks successfully, he gains 500 ATK."

All–Court Server Roger Federer:
ATK/ 600 + 500 = 1100

"You better watch out. Because all the cards in the 'Server' archetype can attack directly! I'll place this face-down and end my turn." Harrington finished as he placed a reverse card on the Field.

Aira shook the attack of, "I wasn't expecting a famous tennis player as a monster card but that's what cool about Duel monster. My turn, draw!" She drew her fifth card, "I play Moonlight Crystal Night Cat!" Her black cat appeared with a snarled as it flex its paw.

Moonlight Crystal Night Cat:
ATK/ 1600 - DEF/ 1300

"Next I activate its ability, it can automatically destroy a face down card on the field and I choose your face down Rosewood! Night Cat slash it!" Aira ordered as her cat pounded the face down slashing it, destroying it."

Harrington groaned, "No."

"It's still my turn. Water Phoenix attack his All-Court Server with water slicer!" Aira ordered and her water phoenix flapped its wings releasing wave of sharp water destroying All-Court Sever.

Harrington: 4000 - 600 = 3400

"Next Wing Bird, attack his life points directly!" Moonlight Crystal Wing Bird cried out as it flapped its wings and flew attack the male Obelisk directly.

Harrington: 3400 - 1000 = 2400

"Bring it up, Night Cat!" Aira's Night Cat growled and ran attacking him on the face with its sharp claws directly.

"OWWWW!! MY FACEEEE!!" Harrington screamed out in pain, causing the others to wince at the attack.

Aira: 3500

Harrington: 2400 - 1600 = 800

"I'll end my turn there." Aira said as her cat returned back her field licking its paw in happiness about its attack.

"Harrington already lost more than 3000 of his life point in just Ai's second turned." Alexis stated, "I'm not surprise."

"Yes indeed."

"But this is disappointing." Alexis sighs.

"What do you mean Alexis?" Syrus asked.

"Well... It's that I heard that Harrington was almost as good as a duelist that's almost equal to Zane." The dirty blonde stated.

"And Aira is tearing him apart like nothing." Bastion pointed out.

"Yes."

Moonlight Magician Girl gasped, "I forgot that Ai re-arranged her deck last night."

"Yeah and she added the Red King in their as well." Tsukimon said. "She had a feeling about he could help in her next duel which is now."

"I feel sorry for Rosewood..." Yubel said which made everyone look at her, "Not really." She finished with a smirk.

Harrington drew his next card and smirked, "Ha! That's 30–Love right there! And now I'll play the Quick–Play Spell, Quick Summon and I'll summon Power Server Jenifer Capriati!"

A Caucasian woman in her mid 30's, with brunette hair tied up in a ponytail in tennis uniform with a racket in hand appeared.

"Let Moonlight Crystal Wing Bird have it!" He ordered. Power Server served the ball towards the red-black bird as her power went up.

Aira: 2000 - 1400 = 600

Harrington: 700

"And I'll end there." Harrington said. "You better get ready my dear Aira, next turn I'll win this!"

Aira gagged, "No thank you."

She wears an outfit very reminiscent of Japanese Gothic Lolita fashion, consisting of a long black and red dress. Her dress contains many layered ruffles on the skirt and sleeves, over her shoulders, she wears a matching, also multiple layered, ruffled shawl, with a similar piece being worn on her waist over the bottom portion of her dress and she wears long white stockings underneath and red Mary Jane's. {Kushina Anna from K Anime}

A huge burst of large red flames taking over the smaller flame and a figure stepped out of the Flames, each step everyone could hear foot steps.
