Now you think with a place called Academy Island, all you'd think about was Duel Academy, the three dorms, the abandoned dorm (if you were unlucky), and the many student and teacher duelists that inhabit it.

Well, think again! Somewhere in a remote corner of the island, a hidden facility was stationed. It's been there for who knows how long or if someone has discovered it; it might be like the abandoned dorm for all intended purposes...

*CRASH!* A sound of glass breaking.

Or not...

*WARNING! WARNING!*

"Code red, I repeat code red!"

If we go inside the facility, there were a lot of suits and scientists running around, in search of something or getting some tranquilizer guns,

"We must hurry; the specimen can't be allowed to escape." One of the security guys said, readying his gun.

Somewhere else in the facility, a monkey with some tech helmet and a duel disk ran out of a room, heading to the elevator.

The doors opened revealing a guard with a gun.

The guard fired but the specimen was too fast for it.

It leapt into the elevator, hopped on the guard's head, then onto the outside roof of the elevator. It rode the elevator to the top where it broke a window and escaped into the night.

The next morning, Chazz walked out of the school with a small bag. He took one last look at the school and sneered saying, "Stinkin' Duel Academy; you demote me, you laugh at me? Well I've had it!" He then continues to walk through to the docks saying, "You won't have Chazz Princeton to kick around anymore!"

Unknown to him, one of Aira's Duel Spirits was watching him.

"..." The HERO thought before vanishing from sight...

Everyone was in class getting ready for their lessons when the door suddenly opening revealing Syrus, "Ai, Ai, it's awful! He's gone!" The bluenette ran into the room towards Aira who was playing with Aoi who is perched on her finger.

"Huh, who's gone?" Aira asked.

~Tori~ Aoi titled it's head.

"It's Chazz! He's gone!" Syrus replied.

Immediately the class started murmuring.

"...and that's awful how?" Aira asked.

"Well...uh... gee, I don't know. Maybe it's because he's your big duel rival?"

"You're right!" Aira gasped in realization. "I do need my competition!"

"Hey you know what?" Torimaki said. "I saw Chazz packing his stuff last night."

"Know why? Because he lost to that Ra." Raizou said.

"Bastion right?"

"And that female Slifer Slacker too."

"Yeah. He couldn't beat the ketchup and mustard team, so I say good riddance." Another Obelisk said.

"Talk about some friends." Aira muttered.

Bastion came up to them, "If you ask me, I'd say good riddance too." He said.

"A bit harsh there don't you think?" Syrus asked.

"Normally I'm not, but Chazz brought this upon himself. After all, he did try to cheat out of his way to win. His world is turning upside down because he can't accept the fact that his opponent was better than him." Bastion stated, "If he had half the resolve to be a great duelist, he probably wouldn't be in this mess or at least work to get back to where he was. But he's not all that. So what does he do? Run away from it. And if he can't man up for the actions he did, then he's just an excuse of a duelist who doesn't belong here and shouldn't even pick up a Deck to begin with."

"Well, when you put it that way..." Syrus nodded. He had tried to run away now and then, but when he faced up against his challenges he started to get into his groove as a duelist.

"None of us entered this school to coast through on laurels. We came here to become better duelists and prove ourselves. You have to be prepared to work hard or else you're going to flounder." Bastion left it unsaid that Chazz was exactly the type to rest on his laurels having graduated from Duel Prep School with grades like his on top of his reputation in the tournament circuit.

"Aira," Syrus said to his friend. "I know Chazz has been a pain to us in the past, but what if he's in some serious danger? He might need our help!"

"I guess so." Aira said. "The right thing to do would be to look for him."

"Yeah, so when should we go?"

"Right now. And besides, this is a great way to sneak out of class."

Unknown to them, they were being watched by Alexis.

Aira and Syrus had snuck out of the school by crawling through a hole in the wall. But as they got up and dusted themselves off. "You know, the school does have regular doors." The Slifers let out a scream. They were caught by Alexis, Jasmine and Mindy.

"Oh, hey, Alexis," Aira greeted, "We were just... uh... getting an early start on our homework."

"Yeah, right," Alexis said sarcastically. "You were going to look for Chazz and we're going to help you."

"Really? Since when do you ditch class?" Aira asked a bit baffled at this.

"Chazz is an Obelisk Blue and we look after our own." Alexis added.

And so the pair of Slifers and quad of Obelisks went to search for Chazz around the island and so far there was no sign of him. It was continuing on for a half hour, until...

"That's it..." Alexis said, and then at the top of her voice. "CHAZZ, YOU LITTLE TOAD, YOU BETTER SHOW YOURSELF RIGHT NOW BECAUSE IF THIS IS A TRICK, YOU BETTER HOPE WE DON'T FIND YOU!" Her voice echoed through the trees, causing birds to leave out.

"Yeah, threatening him, that'll bring him out." Aira said sarcastically.

"I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason for Chazz disappearing." Jasmine said calmly.

"Yeah, like maybe he snuck out to get me some flowers," Mindy said, gushing. "My Chazz-y is so romantic."

Aira sweat dropping with her females duel spirits, saying the same thing. "Chazz-y?"

"You like Chazz?" Jasmine asked. "Last week, it was Bastion. Who's next, Little Syrus?"

"Well he is kind of cute!" Mindy replied.

Suddenly, they heard something move... Alexis was the first to notice. "Shh..."

"What is it?" Aira asked Alexis. Everyone noticed that she was staring intently at a bush.

"Something's moving," She said. Everyone followed her glance to see something rustling in the bushes.

"Chazz-y?"

"All right Chazz, game over, we found you." Jasmine said as they all walked towards the bush. Then all of a sudden, something leapt from the bush, scaring the group and plowed right into them, creating a scuffle for about a few seconds before running back into the woods. The group got up, after the 'brawl.'

"Not Chazz." Syrus said.

"Not human either." Alexis added.

"What was that thing?" Mindy asked.

"He went this way!" The group of teens turned when three new faces came barreling out of the brush. One was a tall man in a black suit with glasses and black hair. Another was a non-descript man with a rifle in his arms and the last was a shorter old man with a gray beard and glasses of his own.

"Blast." The man in black frowned. "He's not here."

"Who are they?" Tsukimon asked.

"Don't know but I don't like there attitude and looks." Yubel stated.

"Who are those guys?" Mindy asked in confusion.

"Forget that! Where's Jasmine?!" Alexis said all of a sudden. The group looked around and they noticed it was true. Jasmine has gone missing. They heard a scream at that point realized just what or rather who was taken from them.

"Up in the trees!" Aira shouted pointing up as they saw... a monkey taking Jasmine, while leaping through the trees with Jasmine in its paws.

"It's what she always wanted," Mindy muttered. "Some guy sweeping her off her feet."

"Yeah, some guy, not some monkey." Alexis pointed out.

"What's going on?" Syrus wondered.

"Who cares, it's got Jasmine, we have to save her," Aira said. The four kids took off after the monkey.

Jasmine was frantically trying to tell the monkey to set her free to no avail, and it continued all the way to a cliff with a tree. After landing at the tree, Jasmine was hanging on to the primate for dear life! "Don't let me go!"

The men in the black suits caught up to them first. "Take aim and fire!" The short one commanded.

"Sir, I can't shoot him without harming the girl." The man with the rifle said. "As much we need that monkey back, harming a girl would put us in a lot of hot water." It was then that Aira and the others arrived. With Aira noticed that besides the weird helmet and harness.

"Hey, that monkey's wearing a Duel Disk!" Aira pointed to the disk on the monkey arms.

"Thats no ordinary monkey." The short old man said. "His name is Wheeler and he's a trained Duelist."

"A dueling monkey, no way!" Agunimon exclaimed.

"He has Uncle Joey surname as a name." Aira sweat dropped.

"Now I know why Kaiba calls Wheeler a monkey." Yubel commented.

"This is ridiculous." Kazemon said.

"Sir..." The man with the glasses whispered.

"Oh right... top secret." The short old man said.

"Somebody help me!" Jasmine cried.

"Wait, if he duels..." Aira spoke up. "Let me duel him!"

"Aira!" Her friends exclaimed.

"Duel him?" The short old man asked incredulously. "Can't you see we have a situation?"

"Yeah I have eyes and can see but it's the only way." Aira said, stepping towards Wheeler. "You hear that Wheeler!? Let's throw down!" Wheeler cautiously started Jaden down, still carrying the Obelisk girl.

"Uh... Ai, are you feeling okay?" Syrus asked.

"She's not sick, she's just gone crazy." Alexis said.

"Hey I'm not sick." Aira turned to Wheeler, "If I win, you let Jasmine go." She said to the monkey. "If you win, we let you go."

"But where's does that leave me!?" Jasmine cried.

"Calm down! Don't worry, he's not gonna win." Aira assured her. "So what do you say, Wheeler?" The monkey looked at Aira for a while before nodding.

"Wow. Gotta hand it to him, they are communicating." Syrus said as Wheeler set Jasmine towards the top of the tree than leapt onto a rock. It screeched as the Duel Disk flicked on.

"Hn." Aira said.

"I have a clear shot." The man with the gun said as he took aim.

"No, wait." The old man said. "This could be the field test we've been waiting for."

"All right, time to duel." Aira announced.

[Duel!] Came a digitized voice from Wheeler's helmet.

"Whoa! The monkey talked!" Mindy said flabbergasted. As was Syrus and Alexis.

"Please, that would be completely unrealistic." The old man said. "The helmet reads his mind and talks for him." Wheeler laughed, as far as the helmet went and both players drew their initial hands.

"I never thought I see someone Dueling a monkey." Lobomon pointed.

"Same there." Lowemon said.

"Hey!" Aira whine. "That's not nice!"

Aira: 4000

Wheeler: 4000

"Here goes!" Aira said, drawing her card. "I summon Moonlight Electric Lightning Bird in attack mode!" Her bird appeared with lightning shooting out of his body.

Moonlight Electric Lightning Bird:
ATK/ 1700 - DEF/ 1500
Level 4

"Next I play his ability when he is summon you take damage equal to his attack points." She announced.

Aira: 4000

Wheeler: 4000 - 1700 = 2300

"I'm not done yet, when he succeeds in dealing damage I get to summon another monster that is level 4 or below from my deck." A card slipped out of her deck, she grabbed the card and place it onto the disk, "And I pick my Moonlight Crystal Tiger Pup!"

A bright light appeared on the field, hearing a soft roar the light began to vanish she a small baby black and white tiger with cute big sky blue eyes, wearing a gold collar and armour gear crystal on his legs. He is laying down in defence mode.

Moonlight Crystal Tiger Pup:
ATK/ 1500 - DEF/ 2000
Level 3

"Awe! It's so cute!" Mindy and Jasmine squealed. "I want one!"

"I'll end my turn here with a facedown." Aira said as a card facedown appeared, "Your turn now."

[My turn, my turn.] Wheeler said. [Draw.] Through his helmet, he scanned the monster in front of him: /Berserk Gorilla, 2000, 1000, Level: 4, Recommend: Attack with this monster\ [Berserk Gorilla! Attack mode!] Wheeler placed his card on the Field, and a large brown furred gorilla, with red eyes appear before him.

Berserk Gorilla:
ATK/ 2000 - DEF/ 1000
Level 4

[Berserk Gorilla attacks Lightning Bird!] Wheeler let out some more screeches as Berserk Gorilla slugged the electric bird, destroying him in the process.

Aira: 4000 - 300 = 3700

Wheeler: 2300

[Now, one card face-down! Face down!] Wheeler said as a reverse card appeared on the Field. [Monkey see, monkey duel! Better! I make monkey out of you! You! You!] Wheeler taunted as Aira groaned.

"Aw man... Aira's losing the duel." Syrus groaned.

"How could you now? I mean, after all she is getting beat by a monkey." Alexis said.

Aira twitch, "I heard that, some faith you have." She said before turning back to Wheeler. "I draw! First I switch Tiger pup into attack mode!" Her tiger gave a cute growl making Mindy and Jasmine squeal. "Next I summon Moonlight Crystal Mirror in defence mode!" A normal size mirror with decorated crystals appeared.

Moonlight Crystal Mirror:
ATK/ 500 - DEF/ 500
Level 1

"I activated its ability allowing me to draw two new cards and if they are monsters I can summon them." She drew two cards from her deck, "Sweet I got two monsters, I summon Moonlight Crystal Kyuubi and Night Cat!"

A flame vortex appeared on the field, first the flame started to died down showing a beautiful golden blonde fix with clear blue eye, nine-tails that each has white tip on it, four blue white flame at each paws and a red crystal collar around its neck.

Moonlight Crystal Kyuubi:
ATK/ 1900 - DEF/ 2200
Level 4

Next was a black vortex appeared on the field, the black dark mist started to vanish showing a beautiful black night fur cat, gold eyes and wearing a gold tail ring with crystals on it.

Moonlight Crystal Night Cat:
ATK/ 1600 - DEF/ 1300
Level 3

Everyone was amazed in awe of the two new beautiful beast monsters on the field. "Now I activated Night Cat ability it can destroy a card facedown on the field and I pick your facedown Wheeler!" Aira announced, her black cat pound on the facedown card lifting up her paw and she slice it destroy the card. "I'm not done I play Moonlight Force! I pick a monster on my field and give it a boost of 1000 and I pick my Tiger Pup!"

Moonlight Crystal Tiger Pup:
ATK/ 1500 + 1000 = 2500

"This match is over." Alexis stated making everyone look at her, "Ai has three monsters in attack mode, while Wheeler has one. And thanks to Night Cat ability she destroyed his only defence. Not so much for our furry little friend."

"Does that mean he's going to giving up?" Mindy asked.

"Oh please," The old man said. "He just made one mistake, that's all. Back at the lab, if he made one mistake, we would punish him for it." The kids gasped. "No, he won't make mistakes again, he'll just get better."

"Top secret sir." One of the suits whispered to him.

"Oh right, never mind..."

Aira glared at the three mans in suit, "Now I get it, they kidnapped him." She whistle for her robotic bird.

~Tori~ Everyone looked at the source of the sound, her blue bird landed on her shoulder.

She whispered to it, "Aoi I need you to send a message to Uncle Mobuka about the problem here. Take a picture of the three men and send them. Go."

Aoi nodded and took off to the sky. ~Tori~ ~Tori~

Everyone wondered what's that all about.

Aira ignore them and was about to attack when she was interrupted by some more monkey noises. She thought it was Wheeler, until she looked over to side, with some rocks nearby.

Aira gasped, "Whoa! Guys, look over there!"

Hiding behind the rocks was a group of about a dozen monkeys.

"That's a lot of monkey." Agunimon pointed out.

"Uh-oh, more monkeys!" Syrus said.

"There must be a whole tribe of them!" Mindy added.

"The correct term, is troop Mindy." Alexis corrected.

"Looks like you are correct Ai. They kidnapped him from his family." Tsukimon said.

"How mean are they." Dark Magician Girl said.

Aira faced Wheeler, "That's your family huh? You want to be free to see them."

Wheeler nodded, [Must win! Miss friends, miss family!] He said.

"Sorry Wheeler but the match ends! Battle phrase! Tiger Pup attack his Berserk Gorilla!" Her tiger gave a growl tackling the gorilla down he lifted his showing his sharp claws and gave him a cut, destroy the Berserk Gorilla.

Wheeler: 2300 - 500 = 1800

"Night Cat your turn now! Night Claw!" Her cat meow in response and scratch Wheeler directly making him screech in pain.

Wheeler: 1800 - 1600 = 200

"Let's end this Kyuubi your up! Fox fire!" Her golden fox growled and lit up her flames hitting the monkey directly making his life points to zero.

Aira: 3700

Wheeler: 200 - 1900 = 0

Wheeler's helmet showed a picture of a sad monkey with the word \LOSE/ over it. "That's game." Aira cheered. "So time to release Jasmine."

Wheeler picked Jasmine off the tree and put her on the ground. Jasmine got up and ran to the others where she was met in an embrace by Alexis and Mindy. She then turned to Jaden. "Thanks for saving me."

"No problem!" Aira replied.

"What about Wheeler?" Mindy asked. They turned and stared at the monkey, who was looking like he lost his best friend.

"I know it kidnapped me, but even I think it deserves more than being somebody's needle poking experiment." Jasmine added.

"You're right." Syrus said.

"All right, you flee-ridden failure," The man with the gun said. "Let's go."

"Hold on." Aira called. "Wheeler doesn't belong with you; he belongs out here with his family."

"You know what?" The old man said. "The boy has a point: Wheeler does belong with his family. So we'll just take all of them!"

Immediately he and the other man took out guns and aimed them at the monkeys.

But then a pitter patter of little feet preceded a pudgy cat which leapt up on the men and made them all fall into each other.

"Pharaoh!?" The kids gasped at the animal who single handedly stop the guns.

"Tsk, tsk Pharaoh. Naughty kitty!" Everyone turned to see a familiar teacher with long hair and bifocals. "You'll have to forgive Pharaoh; he's gets testy when animals... and humans... are threatened."

"Professor Banner!"

"Who are you?!" The old man asked as if he didn't hear what the kids were saying.

"Oh just your average teacher, Duelist... animal lover, if you catch my drift." Still holding Pharaoh, and then kicked the dropped gun over the fedge before turning back to the men.

The men growled at this... they have no hope of winning this one.

After the men left, the kids removed the armor from Wheeler until all he was wearing was the Duel Disk. The humans watched as Wheeler was reunited with the other monkeys.

"It's like a family reunion," Syrus commented.

"Bye Wheeler!" Aira waved and he waved back.

"That was a close one," Mindy said. "If the Professor hadn't showed up, Wheeler would be dead meat."

"How'd you find us, Professor?" Alexis asked.

"Like I said, I love animals." Banner explained. "Plus it wasn't so hard with a cat who can track as well as Pharaoh."

"But why were you looking for us?" Aira asked.

"Well, children, I wanted to tell you that Chazz is okay."

The kids smiled, "That's great news." Syrus said.

"Yes, but... there is some bad news as well, follow me please." Banner led them down to the dock. "You see, Pharaoh tracked him down here, but the time I came here, Chazz was already on his family's personal yacht."

"Well that's a shame." Aira said.

"He did make things interesting." Syrus said.

"My Chazz-y," Mindy sighed. The others sighed too but for a different reason.

"Hey cheer up everybody," Aira said. "I'm sure he'll be back again someday, after all good rivals are hard to find."

"And you know what isn't hard to find? Class." Banner interrupted. "And since you five cut class early today, we have some making up to do."

The kids groaned at that while Aira's Duel Monsters laughed.

"Oh Ra!" Aira shouted.

"I agree." Syrus nodded.

So everyone returned back to their dorms or classes in their case and catches up all the work they missed out on.

One thing for sure lets get say it involved on of her Uncles not being happy, finding out a laboratory built on his island including how they threaten his adopted niece, oh boy this isn't going to be good for the captured scientists.
