Students that made it through to Duel Academy were all on KaibaCorps plane that was taking them there. Most students were asleep on the plane and mostly Aira who just next to the window and instantly snoozed off, trying to get some shut eyes still tired with Kuriboh sleeping in her arms quietly.

Moonlight Kuriboh, it has light blue fur, sky blue eyes with dark blue claws and feet.

Aira had the ability to see and hear duel monsters talk when she was born, she also had rare power to create duel monsters alive or making them real life. But she rarely use her powers because it takes a toe on her body making her really tired and weak, so she basically kept her level 1 Kuriboh's with her.

Syrus sat next to Aira and was wondering something. Syrus thought of the question he is about to ask, and then faced her. "Hey Ai, can I ask you something?" He said.

Aira opened her eyes and turned to him, "What?"

"What were those monsters you played against Dr. Crowler? I've never seen them before and never heard of them either." He asked.

Aira yawned, "Those monsters were called the Moonlight Crystals, they are based on snow-type colours and moon, all of my monsters have the name 'Moonlight Crystal' in it and some don't for example some of my spell casters doesn't and there are other but I'm not going to tell, you have to wait and find out. Okay?" He nodded. "But the dragon you realised that it doesn't have the name 'Crystal' in it right?" He nodded again in understanding.

Aira smiled, "In my deck there are six other dragons that are similar having the name Moonlight only as their names." His mouth jaw dropped in shocked on what he just heard, hearing other dragons that are powerful like her Moonlight Wing Dragon. He continued to listen, "And to answer your other question. I'm the one that design these cards and only me knows of their existence of course with Grand- I mean Maximillion Pegasus as well as some others but now many knows of it yet." She answered.

"W-Wait you designed your own cards and Maximillion Pegasus turned your designed into your very own deck." He said in shock.

She hush him, "Correct Sy, I draw and write information about what they are? Special abilities they have, I even made spells, magics and traps card along for them. Oh, and I can't forget field spells as well." Aira smiled more and laughs a little at Syrus face; he couldn't believe what he just heard.

"Attention, new Duel Academy students. If you look outside the windows, you'll see your new home. Thank you for flying with KaibaCorps." The piolet announced.

"Oh yeah Sy," Aira started, he turned to her, "you can't tell anyone what I told you because it would cause some unwanted attention. Okay!" She asked Syrus.

"Sure, if you don't want to. I promises Aira, don't worry." Syrus said with confidence. She smiled back at him nodded thank you.

Aira, Syrus and the other students arrived at the academy. Everyone got settled in wearing their ranking colours, Obelisk was blue the highest rank, Ra yellow was the second rank and Slifer is the lowest rank which was Aira and Syrus. Which was a good thing for Aira who wanted unwanted attention to herself?

Aira outfit changed she is wearing white collar shirt with a red tie loosely. She has her Slifer jacket uniform which was a bit different to the others that has it; it was slightly bigger for her and style was different. She was glad for her Uncle Seto to change it a bit for her; she wore black jeans with red outlines on the side and a black belt with another belt that hanged on in a diagonal line of her waist holding her two decks and a red and black sneakers. Her hair is the same and the accessories she had on.

Everyone listened to the headmaster speech Chancellor Sheppard. She had trouble staying awake for, if it wasn't for Syrus to continue to poke her she would of and her Kuriboh was on her shoulder, watching everything at is happen with excitement in his eyes, she also let out her Winged Kuriboh that her Uncle Yugi give to her but it was a bit different it has white streaks on its fur a bit. Winged Kuriboh was happy to be out to see the place.

Aira yawned, "Man that was tiring speech and I thought that Uncle Joey speech was tiring. *yawn* I'm pooped." She said to Syrus were sat on a shone statue, checking their PDAs.

She was watching her Kuriboh's playing together; yep she let another one out to play it was her Moonlight Crystal Kuribon she light blue fur with sky-blue eyes, a long dark blue tail and has a white ribbon bow at the tip of it.

Aira smiled at the site of it, and then she saw Bastion walking wearing a Ra yellow outfit. "Heya, Bastion congrats on Ra yellow." She said with a smile.

"Yes, thank you Aira." Bastion replied and still looking at her, "I've got to say that I'm shocked seeing you in Slifer instead of Ra or Obelisk. How you beaten Dr. Crowler with your rare monsters." He said.

Aira shrugged her shoulders, "Don't really care what I am in, but I got to say something though." Bastion and Syrus both looked at her, "I'm kind of glad that I'm in Slifer not wanting attention to myself is the best so far." She chuckled.

"Really now," Bastion asked her, she nodded, "well, I heard something a while ago." He got Aira and Syrus curious all the sudden. "There's a rumour that a new freshman student beat Dr. Crowler in two turns and that she was using rare cards that no-body has ever seen or heard of it before." He said; while Aira mouth was wide open in shock and she starting sulking muttering something cursing the rumours.

They both sweat dropped at her.

"Great, just great," Aira started, "So much of not wanting attention but good thing that I have another deck ready to challenge people who comes to me." She sighs, while Bastion and Syrus was wondering what other deck she was talking about.

They talked a bit more and then left to their dormitories, Syrus room was upstairs and Aira was that the end of the place being the only female that is in Slifer gets her own room.

Aira was surprise that her room was big but simple, the walls were painted light blue with dark blue snowflakes along with Slifer the Sky Dragon on all walls. It had a medium size window that you could easily see the ocean next to her bed, having a single size bed on her side, a private bathroom that a shower and a table that was an office table on it was a computer, designed board it had a lot of spaces, she wondered what a computer table in her room is doing here she read the note it was from Uncle Seto, knowing now what it is for she was happy because she can still design her duel monster card here as well, an closet and lone dresser, a t.v with dvd player, she had a book shelve full of books about designing duel monster cards and other materials of course school books they were from her Grandpa Pegasus. She put everything away and settled for a couple of minutes then went wondering of to the Academy building.

Aira said bye to Syrus she'll meet him at the arena, because needed to call someone, she walked to the docked {A/N: The dock that Zane and Alexis are always at.} with her Kuriboh's playing in the water near her, she took out her cell phone and called everyone that she promise them to do.

First she called Uncle Seto thanking him about the room design and things that was inside along with Uncle Mokuba, then she called Grandpa Pegasus thanking him for the books and designed board to continued her work of designing her duel monsters card and last it was Uncle Yugi she was thankful that the rest of her Uncles and Aunties were there with him.

After that long called and explaining everything that she is fine and settle in at Slifers dorm being the only girl, Uncles worried while her Aunties had to calm them down by hitting them in the head, she sweat dropped on what is happening over the phone, but they calm down at last. She shut her phone after saying good-bye to everyone.

Aira went back to meet up with Syrus in the arena, they both walked around and chatted about the school works and ect. The Slifers made it to the Obelisk duelling arena and walked in.

"Ai we shouldn't be here?" Syrus said.

Aira blinked, "Really I just want to see the arena." She looked at it, "And wow is it big."

"Oi! This area is only for Obelisks people only no Slifers allowed!" A voice said.

"That's right so leave Slifer Slacker." Another boy snarled.

Aira heard her some of the Elemental HEROs growling at them, "Let's me go now! Let me kill them!" They said.

"Oh boy." She sweat dropped. "Who are you?"

"That's The Chazz Princeton." The purple hair guys said. "He's one of Top Student."

Aira rolled her eyes at there attitude she was quite use it from her uncle.

"Hey aren't you the girl that beat Dr Crowler on her second turn." The Obelisk brunette said in shock.

"Yes. So?" Aira said.

"What's she doing in Slifer Red?" The purple haired guy asked.

"Maybe she's not good enough of a duelist as she seem either." The brunette said making Yubel glare at him while Aira was unfazed by this.

"That's it!" Yubel snarled. "If I was real now I'll rip them to shreds!"

Slifer growled in agreement.

-Yubel, Slifer calm down. Nothing is going to settle by killing them so chill would ya.-

"Am I supposed to be scared or annoyed right now?" Aira asked calmly. "At least I have the skills unlike you who use money to win your way here."

The three Obelisk snarled at her. "Why you-"

"A-ai." Syrus said.

"How about a challenge?" Chazz growled.

"I'm up for it." She challenged.

"That's enough!" A voice said from behind them.

"Oh hey Alexis." Chazz blushed. "We were-"

"Save it." Alexis said, "Your late to the Obelisk welcoming party and I see you picking on Slifers now." She glared, "Now go."

Chazz scoffed and glared at Aira, "This isn't over Slifer Slacker." He said to her and left the arena.

Aira snorted, "Great to know."

"I'm sorry about Chazz." Alexis apologies to her, "He's always like this but his worst especially to Slifers."

"Ah, no worries about it." Aira grinned, "Beside if I duelled against him I'll beat him less than 3 turns."

Syrus sigh, "You know Ai we really need to work on the overconfident of yours." He said.

"Blame my uncles for it." She replied simply to the bluenette.

Alexis blinked and smiled, "You know the Slifer welcoming dinner is about to begin. So you better hurry." She said.

"Really?" Aira and Syrus asked.

"We better move Sy." Aira said and started to run, "Hey wait!" She called out the dirty blonde haired girl, "I'm Aira Judai Yuki and yours?!"

"Alexis Rhodes."

"Nice meeting ya Alexis." Aira grinned and made a dash.

"Aren't you going to introduce me?" Syrus asked.

"Aira?" Alexis muttered, "She's the girl that holds the rare cards. This is going to be interesting."

"Alright!" Aira said as she and Syrus entered the Slifers Mess Hall. Some of the Slifers looked at her in question.

After all, the only dorm that had girls was The Obelisks, which seemed very unfair. After all, how were you supposed to know if they were any good if they were just placed in Obelisk despite their skills or lack and their grades? Over all, it was just stupid.

"This is our fancy welcome dinner?" One male student asked as they saw the food.

"Never mind that. Check out our head master. It's a cat!" Another said as a cat that was light brown with darker brown stripes yawned.

A few seconds later, a man with long black hair and glasses stepped out of the room behind the cat with a kind smile on his face.

"Hello children. I'm Professor Banner. Now before we eat, I'd like you to each tell me something about you-"He said but then stopped when he heard noise.

"Hey, this is good stuff's!" Aira said making everyone look at her as she was eating.

"Aira, we're supposes to say something about ourselves." Syrus said.

"Sure, how about this? I'm starving." The Slifer female said.

"He's walking over here, Ai." Syrus warned.

"I mean it; he's right-"Syrus cut off when Banner was standing right in front of their table.

Aira tensed up since she sometime gets off the wrong foot with teachers, whether she meant it or not. She was expecting the worst when he stood before her with a smile on his face.

"Well, since someone here doesn't feel like waiting... Let's just eat!" Banner said.

The Slifers all cheered and dug in and Aira was happy about her teacher.

"Yay! We don't have a stuck up teacher. I love this place already!" Aira said while cheering making Banner chuckle at her attitude.

At night Aira was in her room, drawing new monsters to make. That's when she heard her PDA ringing, which means she got a message.

Aira looked at the message with, there's was no name but she recognised the voice of the person it was Chazz Princeton.

"Hey Slifer Slacker how about the challenge from before. Meet you at the duel arena where we meet and bring her duel disc."

"Are you going?" A voice asked. The voice belong to Dark Magician.

"Of course she is." Another voice said. The voice belonged to Dark Magician Girl who was smiling.

Her Uncles asked Maximillion Pegasus to make copies of there cards for her, she got Three Blue Eye-White Dragons, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and others. Aira also got an Egyptian God card; Slifer the Sky Dragon from Yugi as well because she bonded with the Egyptian God Card as a child.

"I agree with Dark Magician Girl that guy needs some butt kicking duel." Elemental HERO of Flame Agunimon said. "He insulted her along with his friends."

Agunimon is a Flame HERO with red and black armour, a blonde hair that looks like a mane, azure blue eyes, red markings on his face and red and white strip horns on his head. {Digimon: Agunimon the Warrior of Flame.}

"We should of destroyed him." Yubel said.

"You always want to destroy something." Elemental HERO of Wind Kazemon pointed out.

Kazemon is a HERO with a purple armour that shows a lot of her skin, her eyes are covered with a white metal, light green marking on her face, purple headband with white butterfly wings on each side, purple closed gloves, purple knee length boots and large white butterfly wings on her back. {Digimon: Kazemon the Warrior of Wind.}

"I'll go." Aira said, grabbing her duel disc, Syrus along the way and summoned her Moonlight Crystal Snow Wolf. Snow Wolf was a beautiful white fur with dark blue highlights, icy blue slit eyes and wearing a golden collar around it neck. "I need a ride Wolf. Hang on Sy and don't ask questions yet." Snow wolf barked and run towards the academy arena.

The Slifers made it to the Obelisk duelling arena, Aira released Aoi her robotic bird to keep an eye out for security, and they walked in, looking for the person who called her.

"I'm not sure if this is a good idea, Ai." Syrus said nervously.

"Good or bad Sy, when someone challenges you to a duel, you gotta step up. There's no choice buddy." Aira said making the bluenette groan.

"You know if Kaiba finds out he won't be happy about how his niece is out after the hours." Elemental HERO of Darkness Lowemon said.

Lowemon the HERO of Darkness has a lion like sphinx black armour, bloody red eyes, five lions head on both side of this shoulder, knees and on his chest, his face is half covered by the armour, a long black lion lance and a lion face shield. {Digimon: Lowemon the Warrior of Darkness.}

"Don't worry about it. Uncle Seto understands my pride and duelling challenge." Aira waved off.

"Well, well, well. She actually showed up." Chazz said with a sadistic grin.

"I don't know whose annoying attitude worst Seto Kaiba or this guy here." Elemental HERO of Light Lobomon commented.

Lobomon the HERO of Light his is in a silver white armour with a bit of black seen, scarlet red eyes, dirty blonde short hair that has and wolf helmet covering his top half head and wearing a stripped scarf. {Digimon: Lobomon the Warrior of Light.}

"Of course, if it's a duel I never back down." Aira said with a smirk of her own and she walked forward.

"Wait up!" Syrus said chasing after her.

"Time to find out of you beating Dr. Crowler was a fluke or a fact." Chazz said. "Let's make more at stake if you lose you'll hand over your all best cards or rare cards."

"WHAT?!" The Elemental HEROs along with Moonlight Crystals shouted.

"He did not just say that!" Yubel growled.

"Oh hell Ra no way! I'm NOT handing my cards overs to a jerk like him."

Three Blue Eyes White Dragons, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Slifer the Sky Dragon and the Moonlight Dragons all growled dangerously at the black hair boy from their cards.

Aira eyes flashed aqua green and orange gold for second, "Fine. I accept." She said. "But I'm not going to lose."

"Whatever. Just make sure that you have your best cards ready to hand over when you do lose." Chazz scoffed.

"Elemental HEROs I'm going to use you. Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and everyone go with them." Aira said and her HEROs and the other nodded, they went back to their cards. She grabbed her second deck and place it in the slot. "This won't take long."

They both activated their duel disk.

"Duel!"

Aira: 4000

Chazz: 4000

"I'm going to make you know your place Slacker!" Chazz said as he draws a cards from his deck. "I summon Chthonican Soilder in ATK mode!" A ferocious-looking male warrior in scary-looking armor and wields a sword appears in front of Chazz.

Chthonian Soldier:
ATK/ 1200 - DEF/1400
Level 4

Chazz ends his turn by placing a facedown card, which appears behind his soldier.

"Fine my turn. Draw!" Aira drew her sixth card, "I summon Elemental HERO of Wind Kazemon."

The field huge gust of wind appeared on the field and her beautiful female Elemental HERO wind appeared, with an angry face.

Elemental HERO of Wind Kazemon:
ATK/ 1900 - DEF/ 2200
Level 4

"I've never seen that type of HEROs card before." The obelisk with purple haired said staring at the beautiful purple warrior.

"Next I play a magic card called Zephyr Sweep." A card appeared in front of her with feathers, "This card destroys all traps, spell or magic you have on the field." The feathers blew and it destroyed Chazz face down card. "Now Kazemon attack his Solider." She ordered. "Tempest Twist."

"Gladly." Kazemon got on a hand stand and spun around destroying the monster.

"Did you know when Chthonican Soldier is destroying we equal amount of damage." Chazz said.

Aira: 4000 - 700 = 3300

Chazz: 4000 - 700 = 3300

"Of course I know." Aira said, "But Kazemon has an ability which is, since you receive damage from her you have to discard three cards from the top of your deck."

"Damn." Chazz gritted as he sends the top three cards from his deck to the graveyard.

"I play a face down and end my turn." A card appeared in the field face down.

Alexis appeared in the arena standing next to Syrus.

"Oh, hey Alexis." Syrus greeted nervously.

"Hey Syrus." Alexis greeted back, "What's happened so far?"

"Well Chazz ask Ai for a duel which of course she accepts but..." Syrus sigh, "He put a prize in and that's Aira rare cards in her deck."

"What?" Alexis was shocked. "I say I wouldn't be surprised."

"Yeah. I couldn't blame Ai for being mad because her deck that she made up is for a prize."

Alexis nodded and wondered what he mean by 'deck that she made up.' She turned to watch the duel continued.

Chazz draws a card as he looks at it and smiles. "I discard one card from my hand, so I can activate the spell card, Cost Down. This spell decreases the levels of the monsters in my hand by two, which makes it easier for me to summon this level 6 monster called Luster Dragon #2 in attack mode." A pale-looking dragon with shiny gems on its body appears in front of him.

Luster Dragon #2:
ATK/ 2400 - DEF/ 1400
Level 6

"Oh boy." Aira said looking at the monster.

"I'm not done yet! I activate the equip spell card, Dragon Treasure! This card can only be equipped onto a dragon and increases that dragon's attack point by 300. I equip this card to my Luster Dragon." His dragon roars as it glows green.

Luster Dragon #2:
ATK/ 2400 + 300 = 2700

Aira gasp as he orders his dragon to attack her HERO. The Luster Dragon fires a bullet made of air at Kazemon and destroys her.

Aira: 3300 - 800 = 2500

Chazz: 3300

Chazz ends his turn without placing a facedown card. "Hope you are ready to handover that deck of yours especially that dragon of!" He chuckled evilly.

Aira glared, "Whose says anything about me losing? It ends here and now!" She smirked at him as she draw a card from her deck. "I use the spell, Ancient Rule! This card allows me to special summon a level 5 or higher normal monster from my hand. Rise, Dark Magician!" Dark Magician pops out of the ground and floats in the sky.

Dark Magician:
ATK/ 2500 - DEF/ 2100
Level 7

"How cool is that The Dark Magician." Syrus said in awe of the magician on the field.

"Wow." Alexis said.

Chazz gasps as Aira magician just coldly stares at him. "Next, I activate Thousand Knives! This spell allows me to destroy one monster on the field and the monster that I choose is your Luster Dragon!" A thousand of knives flies out of nowhere and kills the dragon, leaving Chazz with no defence. "I reveal my face down Bond between Teacher and Student since I have Dark Magician on the field this automatically allows me to summon his student Dark Magician Girl!" Her female magician appears next to the Dark Magician.

Dark Magician Girl:
ATK/ 2000 - DEF/ 1800
Level 6

Everyone gasped at the female magician on the field. Syrus was drooling over Dark Magician Girl, while Alexis was shocked.

The three Obelisk boys were also shocked and surprised of Aira having Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl in her deck.

Aira order her two monsters to attack Chazz directly, which made Chazz gasp in fear. The two magician combines there attacks together and wiping out the rest of Chazz's life points.

Aira: 2500

Chazz: 3300 - 4500 = 0

The duel is over as the holograms disappear. Chazz was on his knees, Chazz looks like his whole world have been crumbling all around him. "I don't believe it!" He said in a devastating tone, "I lost?"

"You did Chazz and let give you a warning. Nobody and I mean nobody puts my cards or deck as a prize in duel if you do I won't hold back." Aira stated, "Consider yourself lucky this time Chazz."

"Also your lucky I didn't turn this to a shadow game."

"Well you should off." Yubel said.

Her dragons roared in agreement.

"Guys."

"Nice work Aira." A voice said as they turned to see Alexis standing next to Syrus.

Aira was about to say something but they heard foot steps coming this way.

~Tori!~ Aoi cried out warning.

"No good the security guards are here." Aira said and her robotic bird landed on her shoulder, "Time to split." She grabbed Alexis and Syrus handed to an secret exit of the building.

"How did you know about the secret exit?" Alexis asked in surprise.

Aira grinned, "I have my ways."

"Hey Ai, how did you get the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl I thought that only Yugi Mutou has them?" Syrus asked.

"I'll tell some other time Sy." Aira said with a yawn, "Now it's time to hit the bed."

"I'll see you later Aira." Alexis said and left to the Obelisk female dorms while Aira and Syrus left for the Slifer dorms.

Like I said I'm staying to follow the anime duel but changing it a bit and a quit due.
