The next couple of days after Waluigi's and Daisy's match were like usual. Me and Waluigi trained for the soccer game on friday and gave it our best. But Daisy never showed up anymore, either she was just angry at us or something had happened. I didn't think too much about it though, I was still pretty angry at her.

But something that made me really worked up as well was what I was going to do on friday. It made me loose my focus sometimes and make me stressed. Waluigi noticed it from time to time and asked me what was wrong but I didn't want to tell him. Then he would worry about me under the game and maybe loose against Bowser.

It was now thursday, there were gray clouds covering the whole sky, like it was going to rain at anytime. But the air was still warm and pleasantly breezy. Waluigi and I were completely alone on the whole training grounds, and we were on the football field training on dodging. His dodging skills had improved greatly since the first time I trained with him and I was very proud of helping him reach that goal.

''You've improved alot, Waluigi.'' I said as he slipped past me for the hundredth time.

''It's all thanks to you, my training partner!'' He laughed. ''I feel like I can take down Bowser anytime, any day!''

Even by the slightest mention of the Koopa king's name it made me feel bad. ''That's the right attitude!'' I said and smiled.

''And when I win, I'm going to kick Bowser's butt with theese strong legs to teach him a lesson about ruling the kingdom!''

I felt my eyes burning. Oh god, I was about to cry.

''Hey... are you okay?'' Waluigi asked worriedly.

I turned around to try to hide a tear falling from my eye. ''I'm fine...'' I said.

He walked closer to me. ''Hey, you know you can tell me anything. What's wrong?''

I turned around and leaned my face streaming with tears on his shoulder and cried. His arms wrapped around me in a comforting manner. ''Rosalina, what's been bothering you for theese last couple of days?''

I lifted my head to look at him. ''I didn't want to tell anybody because I didn't want anyone to worry but... I'm not going to watch the game tomorrow.''

''What? Why?'' He asked.

''Because I'm going to Bowser's castle while he's with you!''

Waluigi was quiet for a moment. ''A-Are you serious?''

''Waluigi, I'm the only one left that can save the kingdom with my magic! I have to do it wether I like it or not!'' I cried. ''I have to take someone's life, and I'm not sure if I can do that!''

He hugged me again. ''I'm going to tell you what a certain person told me one time. His soul will be reborn into something else, and maybe he'll be much nicer this time and do good things.''

I stopped crying and tightened my grip around him. ''I'm scared.''

''It's okay to be scared. I'm scared all the time. But we have to face our fears someday.''

We went quiet for a moment, all I could hear were the breese passing by. Soon some thunder could be heard far away coming closer to us. Then it started raining, we calmly went to the garage and by the time we got inside we were completely soaked. I used my wand to dry ourselves and I we went to change to our normal clothes.

Then we just sat there, for several minutes, just listening to the rain and thunder outside. It gave me a calm feeling, I didn't feel sad anymore. Not when Waluigi was sitting right next to me. I could feel that he was very calm as well. I leaned my head against his shoulder. He put his arm around my back and I could feel his heart beating faster. Why? Did I do something?

''Maybe we should get back home.'' I suggested.

He nodded. ''Yeah, your Lumas are probably waiting.''

We stood up and I grabbed his hand so we could both teleport home again. And as soon as we appeared, Polari and Luma greeted us. ''Hi Rosalina! Hi Waluigi! Did you do well on the training today?''

''Yeah, it went great.'' I replied. ''I think Waluigi's ready for tomorrow's big game. What have you been doing?''

''Oh, just playing some card games.'' Luma said and smiled. ''Nothing much. But we saw a Boo swallow a Koopa outside, that was pretty fun!''

''Glad to hear that you were't bored, at least.'' Waluigi said and went to the kitchen sink. ''Now, who wants some pancakes?''

Polari and Luma rushed over to him. ''Meeee!'' They both said at the same time. Waluigi looked over to me and smiled. ''And how about you, princess?''

''I'd love some pancakes.'' I giggled while Luma and Polari danced around Waluigi's head while he took out the ingredients from the kitchen cabinets.
