The next day we were going to the training grounds again to help Waluigi train for the soccer match between him and Bowser. I had also scheduled a meeting with Toadsworth there concerning my repaired wand. We teleported over to the training grounds and went to the garage to change into our training clothes. Shawn was already there as usual and said hi to us.

Waluigi and I changed, he was now wearing shorts, soccer shoes, leg warmers, thick football gloves, a long sleeved shirt with shoulder pads and to top it all off: his usual hat. And of course: every clothing piece was purple, black and white.

I used my magic to create a clothing set similar to his, but turquoise instead and with some star marks here and there. We went to the soccer field and trained on some goal scoring. And after a while Waluigi wanted to train on some dodging. We each had our turns on who should have the ball and who should try to stop them. Waluigi was pretty agile, he got past me almost every time I tried to stop him, he was like a snake in his movements. After a couple of failed attempts I wanted to actually stop him and tried my best. He was about to get past me but that's when I moved towards him and bumped into him, causing us both to fall down, with me on top of him. We both blushed. ''Are you okay?'' I asked. He just stared at me. ''...Yeah...'' he finally answered.

Then came that feeling again, that warm feeling in my chest that I felt after the tournament when I was with Waluigi in the garage. I moved my head closer to his and closed my eyes before...

''Rosalina!''

I opened my eyes and looked to the right where the voice was coming from. It was Toadsworth. I immediately tried to get up again while Waluigi was lying on the ground completely frozen. ''Will you be okay?'' I asked and stared at him. ''I have to talk to Toadsworth for a minute.''

He nodded quickly while staring right into the air. ''Sure, I'm just going to... lie down here for a while.''

Good enough answer for me. I followed Toadsworth to the garage and we started talking. ''So Rosalina, you told me that your wand's been fixed.''

I took it out and showed it to him. ''Yes, it's fixed and fully functional now!''

He stared at it in joy. ''Oh, how wonderful! Then have you decided if you will take down Bowser?''

I sighed and frowned. ''I'm the ONLY one who CAN actually do it. So I have no choice. It's hard for me to accept it though...''

Toadsworth patted me on my leg. ''I know it's hard for you. I would've never asked a princess to do something like this in a regular case. But now that Mario and Luigi's gone I have no other choice.''

''What do I have to do to stop him?'' I asked.

''You'll first have to disable the space cannon that brought down your observatory, it's powered by all of the koopalings' wands. If you remove them then the cannon will cause no harm. It's located near Mushroom city in Ludwig's fortress.''

''Okay, I can do that.''

''Then, when the cannon's gone, you'll move on to Bowser's castle. Try to find the prisoners and release them and take them to safety. You'll also have to find the lava core. When you've found it, drop this into it.''

Toadsworth handed me a very small blue ball with yellow spikes. ''What's this?'' I asked.

''A spikeball. Very small, but a gigantic explosion will occur if it's dropped in lava. Make sure to use your magic to protect yourself when it goes off.''

''Okay...'' I said unsure.

''And just so Bowser won't notice you trying to sneak into the castle, you'll have to go there when he's on the soccer match with Waluigi on friday.''

''Got it, friday.'' I said.

''Lastly, when Bowser sees the ruins of his castle: confront him and end him with your magic.''

''Toadsworth, isn't that a little extreme?'' I asked worriedly. ''Do we have to destroy his castle too?''

''Kamek and the koopalings may hide inside there. We have to do that to make sure that they're eliminated as well.''

What has happened to Toadsworth for the last three years. Now he sounds so violent. ''I will make peace in the mushroom kingdom once again. Don't worry Toadsworth.'' I said. He smiled. ''The whole kingdom will be in eternal debt to you, princess.''

A while later we ended our discussion and parted our ways. I went back to the soccer field and saw that Waluigi, Shawn and two Koopas were playing against Donkey Kong and three Boos. The match didn't last very long, Waluigi won with 3 - 1 and he and Shawn started crotch-chopping towards Kong. Polari and Luma then popped up next to me and wondered what Toadsworth and I talked about. I didn't tell them anything, they might get worried about me and I just made up an excuse that we were talking about our favourite tea flavours. Luckily, they believed me.

''Hi, Rosalina!''Daisy said behind me. I didn't even notice her coming here today. ''Oh, hi Daisy!'' I said and gave her a hug. ''Are you here again to train?''

''You bet I am! Even if we don't have a competition next week because of Waluigi's ''heroic'' actions.'' She snickered. 

''Well, I just hope that he'll win against Bowser on friday.'' I said and stared at Waluigi that was now coming towards us.

''Hey, Rosalina. You want to play?'' He asked while staring at Daisy with a sly look.

''I'd love t-''

''Hold on!'' Daisy interrupted. ''You're just trying to act nicely towards her so you can earn her trust!''

Waluigi sighed. ''Daisy, I'm not. Can't I just have fun with a friend?''

''Yeah, ''friend''.'' She said and made the quotation mark sign with her fingers. ''Nobody's falling for that. If you want to play with her, you'll have to beat me first!''

Waluigi got a little angry now. ''Fine, I'll prove that I can win over you any day!''

Oh boy, this didn't sound good...

Soooo... that happened...
