Ashley invited us into her mansion. Everywhere you looked there was either skulls, bats or something else connected to the underworld. Polari and Luma looked around carefully and Waluigi was still shaking while walking behind me. We followed Ashley to her living room, in there was red sofas placed in front of a fireplace while bookshelves surrounded the whole room. Ashley offered us to sit down and she stepped in front of the fireplace to look at us.

''So, why did you want to meet me?'' She asked.

''We need your magic to fix something.'' Polari carefully said.

''And what might that be?''

I took out the pieces of my wand out of my pocket and showed them to her. ''This, my wand needs to be repaired.''

She stared at the pieces for a moment before picking one of them up and examine it closely. ''It'll be tough... and I want something in return.''

''Anything you want.'' I said calmly, getting ready for offering whatever she wanted from us.

''I want a new ingredient for my potion and... I want you to be my friend.''

Friend? she wants me to be her friend?

''And if you say no, you're toast.'' She added calmly while still inspecting the wand piece.

Well it doesn't sound too bad, she's a cute little girl and maybe very nice if I got to know her a little more. ''Sure.'' I said. ''But about the ingredient stuff... what kind of ingredient do you want?''

''Oh, it could be anything. Maybe your little yellow friend over there.'' She said and pointed at Luma. ''Eep!'' It said and held onto my shoulder tightly. ''No mama! Don't let her take me!'' I shook my head. ''Anything but him. I don't want any of my Lumas to get hurt.''

''Fine.'' she sighed. ''Give me something that you think that I want then.''

I thought for a moment. Then Polari suddenly took out some star bits. ''How about theese?''

Ashley looked at them for a moment before taking out some kind of yellow wand with a shining red gem on the top. She let it fall to the floor and suddenly it turned into a puff of smoke and out of it came a little red devil creature with a trident in his hand. ''Red, grab those glittery rainbow coloured stones for me please.'' Ashley commanded.

Polari carefully made the starbits float towards the devil creature and he grabbed them gently and handed them to Ashley. ''Here you go, why couldn't you do it yourself?'' He asked.

''They might've been coated in poison so I had to test to see if you were affected.'' She said. The star bits glittered in her hand as she looked at them. ''What are star bits anyway?'' She asked.

''They're little edible stones that taste like honey.'' I explained. Ashley handed one to Red. ''Eat it.''

''Why me?'' He sighed. ''Just do it, don't be a whimp!'' Ashley commanded. Red threw it into his mouth and started chewing. Then he started smiling. ''They're tasty!'' He said. ''Ashley, try one!''

She took one and ate it, she chewed for a moment and then gulped it down. ''It'll do...'' She shortly answered. ''But I want more than just a handful.''

Both Polari and Luma had to give every star bit they got to Ashley in order to convince her to repair my wand. Red started to drag in a cauldron full of some sort of green liquid into the room. Ashley went to one of the bookcases and took out a big, old and dusty brown book, she opened it and turned a few pages until she came to a stop. Red bought a tray with all kinds of things to her, an old garlic, a dead lizard, an apple and... a bubble.

She put them into the cauldron carefully one after another. Then grabbed the pieces of my wand and put them in all at once. And lastly: she put three star bits into the cauldron as well. She then started to stir around in the cauldron with a big wooden spoon. I stared fascinated at what she did, she was very skilled in magic even if she was only maybe eight years old.

''Wait.'' She suddenly said and stopped stirring. ''What is it?'' I asked confused. ''We're missing something.'' She replied.

''Well, what?'' Red asked. Ashley looked around us quickly, then pointed at Waluigi standing next to me. ''Red, get him over here.''

Red immediately went to Waluigi and started to carry him over to Ashley. Waluigi tried to get away but even if Red was quite small, he was still strong. I grabbed Waluigi's hands and started pulling him back. ''What are you doing?!'' I asked them.

''We need him now!'' Ashley said. ''Don't worry, he won't die... probably.''

I still wouldn't let go of Waluigi and after a few seconds of struggle, Ashley sighed and Red released Waluigi and turned into Ashley's wand again. Ashley grabbed it and pointed it at Waluigi, he started to float and I couldn't get him to come down. Ashley then quickly threw him into the cauldron, his screams were silenced and then the cauldron started moving and contorting. Then it exploded into a cloud of gray smoke and everything that was inside of the couldron were now scattered on the floor, furnishing and... everything. When the smoke cleared Ashley were standing on the same place as before, but now she was holding my wand in her hands, completely repaired!

Waluigi was lying on the floor curled up into a ball, I helped him get up, he was covered in green sticky goo and didn't look too happy about it. He then noticed that his hat were gone and looked around only to find it lying on top of Polari. He picked it up and put it on his head angrily wich made it create a wet ''plaf'' sound.

''Are you okay?'' I asked worriedly.

''Yeah, yeah, I'm completely fine except that MY WHOLE LIFE JUST PASSED BEFORE MY EYES!''

''Yeah, why did you have to do that?'' Polari angily asked Ashley while trying to get the sticky green goo off of him.

''It was neccesary for the potion. And hey, I said that he'd probably survive.'' She said with a bored face. ''Anyway, your wand's fixed now. That was what you wanted, right?''

I sighed and went up to her to grab my wand. ''Yes, thank you for everything dear Ashley. I'm forever grateful for your actions.''

''And thank you for the star bits and being my friend. Now you'll have to play with me at least once every other month. And don't worry about the green goo, it'll fall off after a few minutes.''

We said our goodbyes to Ashley and Red. Even if they were a little scary I personally thought that they were really cool to be with. But Waluigi, Polari and Luma had completely different opinions and were very happy to get away from their mansion as soon as possible. Now that my wand was repaired I could teleport ourselves home without problem and we could all go to bed to sleep under the few remaining hours of this crazy night.

I'm sorry if Ashley's character wasn't on point in this chapter but remeber, I haven't played many games with her in it (she's cute though, I just want to hug her ^_^).
