This night was not pleasant. I couldn't sleep even if I wanted to, no matter how hard I tried. Polari and Waluigi was already fast asleep and I could hear little snores coming from Polari. I carefully rose from my bed and made my way out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. I picked up the book that I was reading before and continued where I left off. I thought of everything that had happened since my observatory crashed on earth. I have Waluigi to thank for that, without him I would probably be sitting in a dark dungeon by now. Or even worse: be married to Bowser.

I then heard a small thud coming from the little walk-in closet. I opened the door and saw the piranha plant chewing on a tennis ball. It smiled when it felt that I was close to it and wanted me to pet its head. I carried out the plant and put it on the kitchen table and sat on a chair next to it. It seemed to like to chew on that tennis ball really much, it never let go of it. I pet it for a long time, I never knew that piranha plants could be so friendly, Waluigi must've treated it very well. He would be perfect to take care of Daisy's garden. It's sad that she hates him though.

''Can't sleep?''

Waluigi was standing by the bedroom door and stared at me with a small smile on his lips.

''I don't necessarily need to sleep. I just do it sometimes to calm down or make the nights go faster.'' I answered. ''This plant is really clingy.''

''She's always been like that.''

''She?'' I asked. ''I didn't know that plants have genders.''

''Piranha plants have.'' He said and sat down next to me.

''Does she have a name then?''

''I usually just call her Spade.'' He snickered.

''And why is that?'' I asked quriously.

''When Wario helped me plant theese thing, she had already begun to grow and grabbed Wario's shovel and started beating him with it.''

I chuckled at what he said. ''Did she really do that?''

''Yeah, she was really angry in her younger days.'' Waluigi's smile turned into a frown as he looked at Spade. ''Too bad that she won't be around soon.''

''What? What do you mean by that?''

''She's already very old and piranha plants usually live just three to four years. When winter arrives this year she will shrivel up and die.''

I looked at Spade, she was smiling while nodding her head like she was dancing to a calm song. ''Are you going to miss her?'' I asked.

''She's a very special plant. The first one that I've actually taken care of more than any other one. Of course I'm going to miss her but I'll get through it. It isn't the first time one of my plants have died, it's just a part of life.''

I was moved by his words, I felt exactly the same for my Lumas. I take care of them but sooner or later they turn into planets or stars and I have to let them go, even if I'll miss them very much. ''Waluigi, I'm sure that Spade's soul will be reborn again into another plant. And in some way, life will make sure that you meet her again.''

He smiled. ''How do you know that?''

''I just have a feeling.'' I answered shortly.

''Mama?''

I flinched. Was that...?

''Mama? Are you here?''

''What's that?'' Waluigi asked. I hushed him and listened carefully. That small voice, it could be no other than a Luma. I shot up from my chair and looked out the kitchen window. I could see a small yellow figure floating aimlessly through the air. I opened the window and started calling it. ''Luma! Over here!''

He turned around. ''Mama?!'' He said and immediately floated towards me and into the apartment. ''Mama, I found you!'' I hugged him tightly and all the commotion caused Polari to wake up and see what was going on. When he saw the Luma he became very suprised and hugged him too.

''Luma, how did you find me?'' I asked him.

''I knew that you were headed for this city so I went here to search, then I could feel your presence around here and started searching.''

''Oh, I'm so happy that you're alright!'' I cried. ''Where are the others?''

''They're in Bowser's castle! He trapped them all in a big jar with a powerful spell!''

''How did you get here, then?'' Polari asked.

''I got away when they tried to capture us. Oh, and one more thing!''

The Luma waved his little arms around and then, out of nowhere, all the parts of my broken wand appeared on the floor in front of him. ''I got ahold of your wand. We just need to fix it in some way.''

I grabbed the pieces and inspected them. I smiled at the Luma and laughed. ''Luma, you're a lifesaver! I can't thank you enough!'' I stood up. ''Now we just need to fix it with some magic!''

''Uh, Rosalina.'' Polari said. ''We... don't know anyone with that strong magic...''

I realized it myself and hit my forehead in stupidity. ''Of course, I was caught up in the moment! You're right, we don't know anyone with that much magic. And Bowser has caught everyone he can get ahold of that has magic abilities already.''

''Maybe...'' Waluigi started. ''Maybe I know someone that can help!''

''Who?'' Polari asked eagerly.

''Wario!'' He said.

Polari and I stared at him in confusion. ''How's Wario going to help?'' Polari sighed.

''He knows a witch. She never really cares about anyone and Bowser's too afraid to make her mad, so he leaves her alone... also there's the fact that he can't find her anyway.''

''Then it's settled, we'll pay a visit to Wario.'' I said happily and collected my wand pieces and put them in my pocket on my pants. ''When is he available?''

''We can go right now, he sleeps enough during the day so he won't mind.'' Waluigi explained. ''And none of us are tired anyway.''

We got ready to head out. Because it was nighttime, there wasn't many people out on the small streets. So there was less of a chance of someone noticing us. We walked far away from home until we came to a street with very much traffic. On the other side of the road there was a large shining building with a big sign saying ''Gold coin casino!!! The biggest casino in Diamond City!''. We went over the street and inside the casino where we were greeted by a woman with long brown hair dressed in a tight short red dress.

''Welcome to Gold coin casino, how may I be of service tonight?'' She said. Waluigi stepped forward. ''Pauline, you know it's me, you don't have to greet me like that everytime I come here.''

''No can do, Waluigi, I have to say that to every customer if I want to get paid.'' She chuckled.

''Whatever, just take us to Wario. We want to talk to him.''

She took us with her and lead us through some fancy corridors with red carpets on the floor, then she opened a big golden door and revealed a big room with a big desk at the end of it. There Wario was leaning on his chair with his feet on the table. He was snoring, and very loud.

''Excuse me Mr W, you have visitors!'' Pauline said and touched Warios shoulder to wake him up.

''Uh, wha? Huh?'' He asked while trying to understand what was going on. He then looked over at us and grinned. ''Ah, yes. Romeo and Juliet, welcome to my golden palace!''

''Romeo and Juliet?'' I asked in confusion. That wasn't our names, did he think we were someone else?

Waluigi blushed as he tried to ignore Wario who was now laughing hysterically. ''Cut it out, we need your help.''

''Huh?'' Wario stopped laughing. ''So you need help from the big guy now? What kind of help, may I ask?''

''Do you still have contact with that witch?'' Waluigi carefully asked.

Wario's expression changed to a very concerned face. ''Man, you just keep getting crazier and crazier.''

Stop, stop reading right now! That's enough of wattpad for today young man/woman! Go to bed right now, it's late and you (probably) have school/work tomorrow! I'll let you read more later.

No, but seriously, if you're up late reading this then I would advise you to get some sleep. It's important, you can always continue to read later. Your life is long and you have plenty of time. I don't know why I'm in mom mode right now, I don't even have any kids! D:<
