Shiro: In this episode, many mistakes were made that they did not notice, and as a result of this, the result of the battle is not correct.
Everyone: Aaah!
Monty: Now we will watch the battle that the other two hosts recreated.
Hiro: They are two of the most badass iconic super-soldiers in gaming history, both sporting an incredibly violent legacy of tearing through wave after wave of monsters with absolute ease.
MBStarscream: And after years and years of debating, the question of which gaming juggernaut would win in a fight to the death shall finally be answered.
The part about the "super soldiers" got their attention.
Hiro: Master Chief, the Spartan super-soldier from Halo.
MBStarscream: And Doomguy, the Hell walker from Doom.
Hiro: I'm Hiro Hamada.
MBStarscream: I'm MBStarscream.
Ruby: Well, at least we know the names of the hosts.
Weiss: I hope one of them doesn't look like as Boomstick.
Hiro: And it's our job to examine both warriors' strength, abilities, weapons, and weaknesses to see who would win in a fight.
MASTER CHIEF
Hiro: In the distant past, an intellectual race called the Forerunners fought an alien parasite known as the Flood. The Flood, which spread through infestation of sentient life, overran much of the galaxy. Exhausted by their war and after having explored all other options, the Forerunners conceived a weapon of last resort to combat the Flood. Using an installation known as the Ark, they built large ring-shaped megastructures known as Halo.
MBStarscream: The Halo Array, when activated, would destroy all sentient life in the galaxy—depriving the Flood of their food, after which samples of the lost lifeforms would be reseeded. Delaying as long as they could, the Forerunners activated the rings and disappeared.
Barbara (in scared): Oh my Archons.
Ganyu: That's just terrible.
Heizou: It is terrible to imagine what would have happened if they could not.
Hiro: Tens of thousands of years later, in the 26th century, humanity under the auspices of the UNSC colonized many worlds thanks to the development of faster-than-light travel. The UNSC created an elite group of enhanced supersoldiers, known as Spartans, to suppress the rebellion covertly. In the year 2525, the human colony of Harvest fell under attack by a theocratic alliance of alien races known as the Covenant.
MBStarscream: The Covenant leadership declared humanity heretics and an affront to their gods—the Forerunners—and began a holy war.
Nahida: It's not very good.
Shiro: Some faithful may go to extremes when it comes to their god or faith.
Barbara (nervous): It can't be that bad, can it?
Shiro: They severely punished those who did not believe in their god, most often they killed them and brought them as an offering.
This made Barbara turn pale and tremble with fear.
Venti/Zhongli/Ei (in mind): Good thing we didn't have that.
MBStarscream: The Covenant's superior technology and numbers proved decisive advantages; which initially turned the war in the favor of the alien alliance. The spartans previously used to put down the insurrection, though effective, were too few in number to turn the tide of battle in humanity's favor. But, everything changed when MCPO John-117: the Master Chief appeared.
Tartaglia: I wonder how strong this guy is, if he is able to change the course of the battle? I so want to fight him.
Zhongli: You always want to fight.

Hiro: Before he was one of the most important UNSC heroes during the Human-Covenant War, John was born in 2511 on the colony world of Eridanus II in the city of Elysium. From an early age, he was recognized as the physical ideal for a soldier. Before he was even seven years old, he was one of 74 other children to be kidnapped by the UNSC and turned into the ultimate killing machines via the SPARTAN-II .
A lot of people didn't like the kidnapping part.
Yunjin: Why were they kidnapped?
Zhongli: Perhaps they were desperate and there were not so many volunteers, although I do not agree with kidnapping them.
MBStarscream: The children were taught history, military strategy, weapons and received advanced physical training. It was here that John got a new name - John-117. He, alongside a small group of other children, were sent on training missions placed in the wilderness, such as Reach's forest. He quickly showcased strategic thinking and was promoted to squad leader after impressing both his peers and the UNSC officials.
Hiro: At the age of 14, the child soldiers underwent dangerous SPARTAN-II augmentation procedures, which managed to kill 30 and physically disable 12 of the trainees. John was one of the 33 Spartans to survive the augmentation, becoming superhuman in every meaning of the word - their strength was increased, their reflexes became faster and their bones became almost unbreakable.

Pietro: It is possible for us to create something approximate, but we need to solve the problem associated with high risk.

MBStarscream: Shortly after the procedures, the Spartans were sent to the Atlas battleship to recover from it in a microgravity environment. However, the peace would not last, as five ODSTs engaged John in the boxing ring, taunting the young soldier. The resulting fight ended in the deaths of two of the troopers, greatly injuries the remaining three. This would be the event that would make the SPARTAN-II program famous across the army.
This impressed many in the theatre.
Tartaglia: I don't mind fighting him.
Yang: I like him. — After she said that, the eyes of Monty, Paradox, and Shiro were fixed on her.
Yang (in confused): What?
Monty: You do realize that sounded like pedophilia.
Yang: What?! I'm not pedophile!
Monty: He was 14 when he fought them.
Yang: You misunderstood! Ruby say something!
Ruby: Sorry, do I know you?
Yang: Ruby!!!
Hiro: Being a great leader and a powerful soldier, John was sent on multiple missions, proving to be the best of the best - not in speed or strength, but in bravery... And luck. Soon enough, John-117 received the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, gaining at the same time his nickname - Master Chief. He was equipped with the Mark IV Mjolnir armor and, a short time later, paired up with a UNSC Cortana. Together, they completed multiple training courses and missions, growing closer with each one.
MBStarscream: Thanks to his Spartan enhancements, Chief's bones are enhanced via grafting materials onto skeletal structure, and his muscles can work harder without tearing apart his skeleton. His increased oxygen intake and retention helps process toxins from the air and allows Spartans to breathe certain non-oxygen atmospheres for up to an hour.
Hiro: Increased perception and night vision allows Chief to spot targets using Active Camouflage. Cardiac implants strengthen his cardio-vascular tissue and increase his maximum heart rate to safely allow massive adrenaline flow without the risk of stroke or heart attack. Chief's body can extract the maximum amount of nutrients and carbohydrates from food with minimal waste with an artificial pancreas implant, and his ability to slow bleeding and clot wounds is enhanced by artificial platelet injections.
Sucrose (in impressed): It's amazing! You agree Mister Albedo!?
Albedo: It's really impressive. Hmm interesting, using alchemy to recreate something like that?
Alhaytham: I hope the academy doesn't think of this.
MBStarscream: Chief also comes with plenty of neat Spartan abilities, like a quick dash in a given direction. While mid-air, Chief can launch himself downward, striking the ground with a punch and dealing area-of-effect damage; while aiming the ability, Chief floats mid-air.
Hiro: Like other Spartans, Chief can also pull himself onto ledges that are too high for them to jump onto, and Sprint increases the Spartan's running speed; During Sprint, the Spartan does not regenerate Health or Shields. With Charge, Chief lunges forward, tackling enemies and obliterating walls in his way.
MBStarscream: Slide is an ability that can be used at full speed of Sprint; the Spartan slides across the ground with their weapon at the ready, making them harder to hit. Smart Scope links the weapon's sights or scope to Chief's interface, allowing for increased marksmanship even with weapons without a scope; shows a virtual aiming assist, which displays the ammo count in its bottom-right corner.
Hiro: Chief isn't a person who panics; he keeps his cool in every situation, even when troops around him end up scared. He also stays calm when even Cortana is panicking, and he kept trying to accomplish his mission despite dozens of people dying during it. As Dr. Catherine Halsey's favorite Spartan, Chief showed exceptional promise as a leader and soldier even at an early age. A natural leader, he rallied his fellow cadets to heavily injure and incapacitate a group of armed and trained UNSC Marines and steal their Pelican dropship at the age of eight. Since then, Chief has been trained in all forms of military warfare, being an expert in hand-to-hand combat, firearms usage, stealth tactics, and the operation of any number of military vehicles, being able to kill two elite ODSTs and maim three more when he was just fourteen years old.
MBStarscream: By the time of the Covenant-Human War, Chief was a decorated soldier who could turn the tides of battle almost single-handedly, leading UNSC forces to rout entire battalions of Covenant forces, being a key figure who was feared as "The Demon" by his opponents. Also, he gained extensive experience in the usage of Covenant and Promethean weaponry and machinery, oftentimes outdoing the original owners' in their ability to use said weaponry, managing to defeat the Didact's forces even though the Prometheans had spent thousands of years subjugating other civilizations.
Ironwood: Incredible soldier.
Pietro: You are right general.
Winter: These people are rare to find. Soldiers in our time, when they find themselves in a similar situation, often panic.
Hiro: Chief is already an absolute tank of a man when unarmored, but with the Mark VI Mjolnir Armor, he's just a behemoth.
MARK VI MJOLNIR ARMOUR:

Hiro: When armored up, Chief reaches a height of 7'2 and a weight of 990lbs. His armor also provides him with even more strength, resolve and combat prowess, thanks to the useful heads up display inside the helmet. A neural implant was inserted into Chief's skull during his augmentation, which allows the Mjolnir armor to work synonymously with his body, turning it from a simple suit of armor to what is essentially just an extension of Chief's already immensely powerful body.
Xingqiu: Man and armor become one, just as a weapon becomes an extension of a fighter's hand.
Ozpin: Excellent description, young man.
Pietro: I have no idea how to connect the microcheat to the human nervous system.
Penny: What worries me is that if the armor takes damage, it may reflect on the carrier.
MBStarscream: The armor itself is crafted from a thick titanium alloy, capable of stopping most small arms fire and putting up a pretty strong defense against larger rounds and even armor-piercing ones, although they are able to eventually pierce the armor.
Hiro: To counter plasma weaponry, the titanium is also given a refractive coating so that the heat of the plasma is dispersed, which minimizes the damage, although this again doesn't entirely stop it. One of Chief's closest squad members, Linda-058, was almost killed by plasma fire while wearing Mark V, so even though it's resilient to plasma, it's most definitely not invincible to it.
MBStarscream: The Mjolnir also comes with a fail-safe self-destruct option which not only prevents the tech from falling into enemy hands, but allows the user to go out in a blaze of martyrdom. If Chief did happen to go down in battle, he could activate this fail-safe, overloading the suit's microfusion reactor and burning everything in a 10-metre radius before exploding, sending himself out with a bang.
Hiro: The suit also grants him energy shields, increased movement speed and jump height, and the ability to utilize an A.I. companion for maximum battlefield efficiency. Of course, later on during his career, Chief served with Cortana, a smart A.I. created directly from the brain of Dr. Catherine Halsey, the creator of the Spartan program. Beneath the armor is a titanium nano composite black undersuit that provides another strong level of ballistic protection, while also remaining incredibly flexible.
MBStarscream: Inside the suit is a layer of liquid metal that acts as sort of an artificial muscle extension to increase Chief's overall strength and maneuverability, along with biofoam injectors to quickly seal a wound, which means that if Chief is wounded in battle, he can continue fighting with ease. Force multiplying circuits are also located inside the suit, which greatly enhance any force applied by it, making Chief's hand-to-hand combat extremely lethal.
Hiro: Master Chief is incredibly strong unarmored, no doubt, but his Mjolnir armor, no matter the variant or generation, massively increases his lethality to a level that is pretty much unmatched by anything in the Halo universe, making him practically unstoppable in combat. This hyper-lethality has been battle-tested countless times, and after each skirmish, Chief comes out a tougher Spartan.
Ruby: This armor is just incredible!
Weiss: Surviving bullets is one thing, but plasma projectiles are another.
Yang: That's one badass armor!
Blake: Don't forget that the armor is resistant to plasma and bullets, but it's not invulnerable.
Jaune: That's right, it only minimizes the damage, but dispels it completely.
MBStarscream: And we haven't even talked his weapons yet.

Hiro: The Overshield enhances the personal energy shield around Master Chief's armor, leaving him nigh-invulnerable to damage. Active Camouflage bends light around Chief's armor, turning him invisible. Radar Jammer dcrambles nearby players' motion sensors by creating a multitude of false dots on the radar of everyone within range. Regenerator emits a small, green field of energy which restores Master Chief's shield as well as those of anybody near him, including enemies, for fifteen seconds. Power Drain creates a short-range electromagnetic pulse effect, which interferes with all electronic equipment within the radius of the pulse. It is designed primarily to interfere with common varieties of electrical field-based shielding, as well as the electrical components of vehicles. Bubble Shield is a deployable equipment system that creates a spherical force field when activated.
Summer and Ruby began to literally drool over Chief's weapons.
Weiss: These weapons are just insane!
MBStarscream: To go through each and every conflict that Master Chief served in would take too much time. He can drag bombs weighing 95 tons, run half a kilometer in 17 seconds, survive falling from 2 kilometers, was responsible for the defeat of the Covenant, and even managed to save the galaxy from total genocide more than once.

Ironwood: That very impressive feats.
Hiro: But this super soldier has flaws of his own. His energy shields must recharge after taking an extended beating, leaving him open to damage for a few seconds. And as mentioned, the Mjolnir armor shields and armor are very susceptible to electricity and plasma weaponry. Also, Bubble Shields only protect from outside projectiles and explosions; all infantry troops and vehicles can easily run right through them.
Pietro: That's serious problem.
MBStarscream: His motivation to win no matter what makes him come off as the reckless type, and he more or less has the same weaknesses as any other mortal man. But no human, alien or zombie that ever crossed him lived to regret it, so when the Master Chief is on the battlefield, stay the hell out of his way.
Lord Hood: Master Chief, you mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?
Master Chief: Sir, finishing this fight.
DOOMGUY
Hiro: Not too much is known about the past of the demon-slaying marine known as Doomguy before his brutal adventures, but what we can get is that he was the son of Commander Keen, who was the grandson of William "B.J." Blazkowicz, which would effectively make Doomguy 'William "B.J." Blazkowicz III'.
Kali: He seems to be full of secrets.
Kaeya: Just like the one we know.
Shiro: ... That's not funny, Kaeya.
Amber: But it's true.
Eula: You are mysteriously.
Lisa: You don't talk about your live.
Shiro: ... I hate you.
Hiro: We also know that he used to own a pet rabbit named Daisy, which will be important later.
Coco: Aaaw! She so sweet like Vel!
Velvet: Coco!
MBStarscream: After being ordered to fire upon unarmed civilians, Doomguy fatally punched his commanding officer and got his ass banned from Earth to Mars.
Nilou: What? Why kill innocent people?
Shiro: Some people just like to see someone die.
MBStarscream: There, he worked among side the Union Aerospace Corporation where they did research on interdimensional travel and secret experimentation.
Hiro: While on Mars, a catastrophic failure occurred when scientists tried to master interdimensional travel so they could open portals between Phobos and Deimos.
Pietro: Interdimensional travel. It sounds tempting, but difficult to implement.
Mona: Phobos and Deimos? What are those?
Paradox: Satellites of Mars. Their names translate as "Fear" and "Panic". They are named after the two horses that pulled the chariot of the god of war, Ares, the counterpart of the Roman god of war, Mars.
Hiro: The failure caused Deimos to disappear, and a portal to Hell opened, causing a hellish invasion. All of Doomguy's comrades ended up either dead, or transformed into Zombiemen. Doomguy went to confront the demons, slaughtering as many as he could before taking down the leader of the invasion, the Spider Mastermind.
The moment with the demons strained the others. Their appearance greatly frightened many innocent onlookers.
Shenhe: Didn't these creatures attack Liyue when Osial woke up?
Shiro: Better don't remind me.
Ganyu: It was very hard to keep them.
Xiao: There were a lot of them.
MBStarscream: After killing it, Doomguy entered a portal and returned to Earth. When he came back however, everything was in chaos. The demons used the same portal and used it to invade Earth, killing billions of humans.
They could see that the cities had collapsed and turned into ruins, and looked more like hell itself.
Salem: Could their invasion cause such a catastrophe?
Shiro: Never underestimate demons.
MBStarscream: And remember that bunny, Daisy? Yeah, she wasn't spared either.
Daisy the rabbit suffered a terrible fate: her head was torn off and strung on a spike.
This scene made Velvet, Amber and Collei faint in horror.
Coco: Velv! Wake up!
Eula: Amber!

Ruby: Why did they do this to a cute rabbit!?
Jean: Oh Archons! *realization* Wait, why are you showing this to the kids!

This made many people calm down.
Hiro: Filled with anger, grief, and a thirst for vengeance, Doomguy conquered the invasion of Earth before finally entering Hell to take on the hordes of demons at their source. Choosing to stay in Hell and closing the portal, he would decimate the demons in magnitudes so great that some demons actually began to worship him.

MBStarscream: His one-man war was only ended after he was lured into a trap, allowing the forces of Hell to collapse one of their temples on top of him. Entombed inside a stone sarcophagus, Doomguy was sealed away in the Kadingir Sanctum, hopefully forever.
Cyno: Doom was their Doomed.
Silence greeted him in response, until Yang soon burst out laughing.
Tighnari: Please stop.
Weiss (in scared): Oh no… Now there are two of them…— She muttered with real horror on her face.
Hiro: Unfortunately for the demons, Doomguy's sarcophagus was eventually retrieved by the UAC and brought back to Mars. Sure enough, after Hell commenced its invasion of Mars, Doomguy awakened as bloody-minded as ever. He then armed himself with a pistol, reclaimed his Praetor Suit and began to fight the hordes of hell once more.
MBStarscream: Having become an icon in gaming and battling the forces of Hell for decades, has earned Doomguy the status of being an absolute BADASS. This makes him an invincible and unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
Hiro: Doomguy has shown to possess immense physical strength, endurance and durability, and superior speed and stamina. He outmaneuvers his opponents with great speed, avoiding their attacks, and yet is capable of enduring the hits that the demons are able to land. His strength is sufficient to grapple and overpower superhumanly strong demons in hand-to-hand combat, and perform gory "Glory Kills" to ensure their complete destruction.
MBStarscream: The most unique thing about Doomguy is his ability to grow stronger and become even more tenacious with every demon he kills. According to the game's lore, this is the result of the Seraphim giving the Doom Marine the ability to absorb the souls of those he killed. Doomguy can also absorb Argent Energy via his Praetor Suit, which reroutes it throughout the suit's subsystems and into his body. This allows him to increase either his health, armour or ammo to maximum levels.
Ruby: This power is insane!
Yang: He is very strong!
Blake: What is Argent Energy?
Shiro: Argent Energy is a new form of renewable energy that was discovered by the Union Aerospace Corporation at the end of the 21st century. It is produced by neutron activation of the Silver Plasma. Silver energy was publicly believed to originate from Mars, but in fact it is secretly mined from Hell, where the element is originally associated with this realm and its demonic inhabitants.
Ironwood: Renewable energy? We seem to need to find a similar type of energy soon.
Penny: I wonder if we can use this Argent energy?
Paradox: I don't advise because its component includes human souls.
At that moment, there was a terrible silence in the hall.
Salem (in horrible): W-w-what did you say?
Shiro: What you all heard. Argent energy is a combination of Sentinel energy and Hell Essence, which is made from tortured souls plucked from the bodies of recently deceased mortals who have fallen into Hell.
Alhaitham: Now it is clear why this energy is renewable. In the world, many people die from an accident, from someone else's hand or from old age, and at the same time, children are born in the world and the cycle repeats.
Hiro: Through some unknown means, Doomguy is able to use mystic runes that he gains upon completing trials. Once a trial is complete, he can then use a rune to gain new abilities. Whereas powerups such as Berserk and Haste in the game are described as killing or driving human users mad, Doomguy can use these without any trouble, sustaining full control and not taking any damage to either his body or mind from using such artifacts multiple times.
Yang: Let's talk about resilience.
MBStarscream: Doomguy is a highly trained and experienced combatant; even when lacking ammo and weapons, he can slay demons just with his bare-hands alone. Without the need of any melee weapon, he can defeat and tear apart demons far bigger and stronger than him just with his own skills in hand-to-hand combat. With the Praetor suit, these skills are far increased, making him a monster in both armed and unarmed combat.
They were shown a cut where Doom literally tore the demons to pieces with his bare hands.
This made some sick and they ran out to the restroom, then they went back to their seats.
Jaune: That was beastly.
Hiro: Doomguy is capable of using any weapon or firearm in his possession with master proficiency. He can use all firearms he comes across with great effect, while also upgrading and modifying his arsenal. He is also capable of carrying a vast amount of weapons, carrying up to 12 weapons including special weapons and grenades. He has also shown to possess a high level of intelligence as he is able to use technology from other worlds with no signs of unfamiliarity, despite resorting to violence.
The latter took them by surprise.
Zhongli: That was unexpected.

MBStarscream: Doomguy's also got loads of weapons to aid him in his crusade to kill all demons. His bare fists alone have their own category as a weapon, but this marine has so many more up his sleeve. A chainsaw, a blade sticking out of one of his gauntlets, a hatchet, an axe, and a shoulder-thingy attached to his shoulder that can be used as both a flamethrower and a grenade launcher.
Hiro: There's also pistols, shotguns, combat shotguns, rifles, SMGs, machine guns, heavy assault rifles, burst rifles, super shotguns, Brutal Doom machine guns, chainguns, grenades, rocket launchers, plasma guns, and the BFG9000, short for Big Fucking Gun. This weapon fires large balls of green plasma that can gib some of Doom's strongest enemies in a single shot.
Ruby and Summer practically groaned at the weapons and the BFG9000 made them a little wet. From the realization, they were embarrassed and tried to hide it from prying eyes.
MBStarscream: The Ionized Plasma Levitator has the ability to hold certain objects above the ground for a limited time and can throw them with great force. It can also grab fireballs thrown by enemies, reach otherwise inaccessible pickups, destroy certain enemies and remove obstacles in Doomguy's path. The Unmaker was, according to the Doom Bible, intended to be a "demon-tech weapon that hurts pure demons a lot, demon-humans very little, tech demons some." So, basically destroying demons.
Hiro: The Soul Cube is an artifact created by the Martians specifically to combat demons, and uses not only magic, but technology. The Artifact uses human souls to be fueled and has the ability to stop time, give it's user the properties of a berserk pickup and grant brief invulnerability. And the Crucible is a dagger-like sword likely created in Hell that uses demonic energy.

Qrow: Wow wow wow, calm down, pipsquick , short-stack.
MBStarscream: Before Bethesda's version existed, the standard armor all of the Doomguys used was security armor tough enough to tank gunfire without too much issue. The argument could be made that it could survive attacks from demons, but as we see, most of the UAC Marines get slaughtered by Imps and other demons. But his strongest armor is no doubt the Praetor Suit.

Ruby: It is inferior to Chief's armor, but Doom's armor is still amazing.
Hiro: Forged in Hell itself, the Praetor Suit is much more technologically advanced, with a complex visor and internal systems which allows Doomguy to travel to Hell and return again unharmed. The suit is described as being made from nearly impenetrable material, and may be responsible for what appears to be Doomguy's superhuman abilities. As of Doom Eternal, the Praetor Suit now has an arm blade and a flamethrower on the shoulder.
Yang: How durable is this armor?
Monty shows them the moment where Doomguy shoots himself from a huge cannon at another planet.
Then it is shown that he flies into the building and breaks through it and there is not even a scratch on it.
Jaune: It pretty durable armor.
Shiro: It is ultimate durable, but it is not durable to protect Doomguy.
Ironwood: What do you mean?
Shiro: The armor is durable not to protect Doomguy, but to ensure that the suit itself does not burst from Doomguy's monstrous strength.
Penny: Wait! Didn't he survive this shot thanks to the armor?
Shiro: Doomguy's costume shows bare elbows and biceps. This means that the suit is not airtight. The suit also lacks servos or an exoskeleton.
Candace: If Doom is so durable and strong, why does he need a suit?
Shiro: The praetor suit gave him great versatility in slaying demons.

MBStarscream: With all these abilities and weapons, it's no wonder demons fear this marine. He can rip and tear demons to pieces, run at 57 mph (91,7 km/h), outrun rockets, take explosions to the face, and put a stop to Hell's invasion six times. He was even responsible for taking down "The Titan", which was one of the most powerful demons Hell had to offer.
Nilou: Oh my Archons!
Dehya: These things are just huge!
Cyno: That's what she said!
Tighnari: No time for your jokes, Cyno!
Hiro: Despite these feats, however, even this marine has weaknesses. His armor's energy shields don't regenerate and he is weaker without his power-ups and armor, plus the fact that Doomguy apparently takes great pleasure in destroying things, which can sometimes be detrimental to his own success.
Paradox: His obsession with slaying demons could backfire on him.
MBStarscream: And if he isn't careful, any demon can rip him to shreds. But it's not easy to put down this tough-as-hell son of a bitch. When Doomguy does what he does best, the hardest part will be cleaning up afterwards.
Everyone: That's right!
Dr. Samuel Hayden: Rip and tear... until it is finished.
An abandoned space research and warehouse facility
/BATTLE/
Holding his Assault Rifle and moving as quietly as he could, a man in a heavy suit of armor walked slowly down the corridor. He was on an assigned recovery mission to find someone who was said to be in cryo statis. He had some run-ins with a few Covenant, but it was nothing Master Chief couldn't handle.
At some point, the Spartan found a large storage area that had a warthog, several crates and other supplies (with weapons conveniently placed in certain spots), and other unknown stuff. As Chief was coming to the Warthog, Cortana suddenly started saying something to him.
"Chief, I'm getting a signal. Something's coming from the other corridor."
"Friendly or target?" Chief asked.
"Neither, and it's getting closer--" Cortana picked up something new. Something bad. "CHIEF! LOOK OUT!"
Chief looked up in time to see a figure firing a rocket launcher a total of three times. In record time, Chief deactivated the holo-projector, jumped in a graceful cartwheel of sorts to avoid two missiles, then landed in time to grab the last one and hurl it back at its source. The rocket exploded, and through the smoke stomped the hell-slaying marine known as Doomguy.
"Who are you?" Chief demanded while taking aim with his Assault Rifle. There was no response from Doomguy, just a narrowing of the eyes behind his helmet. Aiming his own weapon at Chief, Doomguy silently challenged the soldier, eager for a fight.
It was a challenge that was accepted.
Blake: That will be bloody.
Yang/Nora/Mercury: Rip and Tear!
FIGHT!
Chief began unloading Assault Rifle rounds on Doomguy, but it was visibly doing little damage. A fire fight ensued and Doomguy was rapidly switching through his weapons, shooting each time. With great reaction speed, Chief started dodging to the side while still firing at Doomguy. Chief dashed behind cover, then noticed an Overshield power up and some explosives nearby. Doomguy pulled out his rocket launcher and rapidly shot rockets, one of them impacting one of the explosives.
With his Overshield, Chief endured the explosions, then jumped up with somersaults and barrel rolls and easily took more rockets. He then grabbed one of the soaring rockets and chucked it back towards Doomguy, stunning him. While his opponent stunned, Chief tore open a crate to find a Covenant Carbine, switched it with the Assault Rifle, then grabbed and chucked the crate at Doomguy.
Doomguy shot the crate out of the air with his Plasma Gun while Chief was charging and firing the carbine plasma at Doomguy, doing effective damage. Doomguy fired back with plasma fire, but Chief’s remaining Overshields took the shots as the Spartan tackled Doomguy. Pinning down the marine, Chief landed heavy blows on Doomguy's head until a hand gripped his throat and their positions were reversed. As Doomguy assaulted his face with punches that had the strength of a gorilla behind them, Chief used his armor's evade thrusters to dash away from under Doomguy.
Bleiss: That was too close.
Getting to his feet, Chief saw Doomguy approaching him and attempted to punch him with his right hand and then his left, but Doomguy leaned to the sides to avoid his fists, grabbed onto Chief's upper arm, and punched him hard in the ribs. He then grabbed Chief by the throat and lifted him up from the floor. Chief took out a Type-1 Plasma Grenade and placed it on Doomguy's chest, then kicked him away and flipped backwards as the grenade exploded, sending Doomguy flying away.
This made many people wince.
Itto: It was hurt.
Through the smoke, Chief saw Doomguy getting up and taking out a chainsaw. In response, Chief pulled out a Type-1 Energy Sword and dashed at Doomguy. The energy sword and chainsaw both countered blow after blow until Chief managed to force the chainsaw out of Doomguy's hand. He tried to plunge the energy sword right through Doomguy's heart and end the fight there, but Doomguy grabbed the sword, spun Chief around and tossed him aside. As Chief got up, Doomguy picked up his chainsaw and charged towards the Spartan and swung the chainsaw in hopes that the Spartan's head would be torn clean off his shoulders.
Holding up the energy sword, Chief countered what would have been a killing blow as sparks flew and their eyes burned into the other's. Chief then saw an opening and kicked Doomguy in the gut, then started slashing the marine multiple times with his energy sword. Doomguy eventually countered one of Chief's slashes and punched him in the face. Throwing the energy sword aside, Doomguy held nothing back as his fists assaulted Chief's body. Chief countered some blows and delivered his own, both super-soldiers evenly matched in close quarters.
Doomguy eventually kicked Chief so that his back was to him, then pulled back his arms with a few painful crunches before kicking him to the ground. Rolling on his back, Chief kicked Doomguy with both feet before getting up and shoving him back. Ducking under a haymaker punch from Doomguy, Chief planted his fist in the marine's gut and lifted his head with an uppercut. He followed this up by grabbing Doomguy and bending him forward, pulling an energy sword to impale him, then used it to haul him forward. He then looked over at the Warthog and an idea came to his head.
Jean: I have bad feeling.
As Doomguy was recovering, his ears caught the sound of an engine roaring to life. Sure enough, the Warthog was driving straight at him as he was rammed through the storage. Doomguy climbed onto the front of the moving Warthog with his Super Shotgun in hand as Chief took out a M90 Shotgun. Right at both space marines took aim, their shotguns were exactly aligned facing each other and ended up making a fire cracker blast that badly damaged each gun. Doomguy had no choice but to discard the Super Shotgun for his Chaingun, which he unloaded on Chief.
Coco: Yeah! Gatling time!
Had they not been focused on killing each other, Chief and Doomguy would have seen the concrete barrier up ahead. Before the two soldiers could realize what they were about to hit, the Warthog hit the barrier at full force, throwing Chief and Doomguy off of it from the sudden halt. Flying through the air, both men crashed into some more crates that knocked more UNSC weapons out and landed on the hard floor.
They lay there until Doomguy slowly pushed himself up while Chief was slower to recover. Getting onto his knees, Chief looked up at Doomguy, who was armed with the plasma gun and rapid fire rocket launcher. Chief tossed the M90 Shotgun aside and deployed a Bubble Shield, protecting himself from the rockets and plasma fire. Chief took this time to switch out to a conveniently found M41 Rocket Launcher and M6 Spartan Laser. As the Bubble Shield wore off, Chief spotted an invincibility power-up and fired with the rocket launcher, but Doomguy grabbed the power-up first, making him invincible.
Chief fired some rockets at Doomguy, but to little effect as the marine casually walked in his direction. The Spartan then switched the Rocket launcher for the Spartan Laser and starts charging all five shots for one laser fire. As the Spartan Laser finished charging, Chief pulled the trigger and a red beam impacted Doomguy, knocking him back against a really large secured crate. Tossing the Spartan Laser away, Chief started charging towards Doomguy and leaped into the air, ready to smash his fist on his adversary's head.
Chunyun: It's not over yet.
Unfortunately for Chief, a blast of green plasma from the BFG-9000 stopped him in his tracks and pushed him back, sending him crashing to the ground. Before he could recover, Doomguy fired more plasma shots without respite, pushing Chief further and further back with each shot. When he was finished, Chief's armor was severely damaged and his visor was even destroyed, revealing his blue eyes. Walking over to the weakened Spartan, Doomguy grabbed Chief's head and lifted him up, his opponent struggling in vain to escape Doomguy's grip.
Everything then went pitch-black in Chief's vision as Doomguy's thumbs pressed against his eyes with a nasty squelch, making him scream in agonizing pain. His screams only got louder as his head was squeezed tighter and tighter, cracks forming in his skull. It was like an anaconda constricting its helpless prey.
They grimaced in pain, afraid to imagine Chef's pain.
Too much pressure became too much, and Chief's cranium exploded in a gruesome spray of blood and brain matter. The headless corpse of Master Chief lay at Doomguy's feet as the demon killer brought his gun to rest on his shoulder, cricked his neck, then smirked a cocky grin with a foot resting on Chief's chest.
Ruby & Summer: Doom won!
RESULTS:
MBStarscream: That's one way to lose your head, Chief.
Yang and Saino laughed at this.
Hiro: Chief may have been a hyper-lethal tank with incredible luck, but pretty much everything he did well, Doomguy just did better. When comparing their strength, Chief is able to deadlift 500kg unarmored, so with the Mjolnir Armor increasing his strength by a factor of five, Chief should be able to lift 2000kg when fully armored. Impressive to be sure, but Doomguy is able to rip and lift the torso of the Cyberdemon with just one arm, which has a mass of 1200kg, perhaps even more.
MBStarscream: This means that with both arms, Doomguy can lift 2500kg, so he takes it in raw strength. Same for speed.
Hiro: Chief is able to run at 35mph on average, but Doomguy outclasses this with his running speed of 57mph. Doomguy's durability also blew Chief's out of the water. The Mjolnir armor may be tough enough to withstand 0.177 tons of TNT, but Doomguy repeatedly absorbed 3,977,629,840 MW of energy from the core meltdown after VEGA's deactivation. This ridiculous figure is further supported when the specs for VEGA's power consumption and core temperature. VEGA consumes 2.4 terawatts of energy every minute, and if not cooled the core temperature would be 173 times the temperature of the sun. Therefore, Doomguy is capable of absorbing 3.98 PW of energy.
MBStarscream: And as strong as the Mjolnir Armor is, it's not bulletproof or plasmaproof like we said. Despite wearing the Mjolnir Armor, countless Spartans were killed by the Covenant's plasma weaponry, so Chief isn't safe from the plasma weapons used by Doomguy. After seeing what Atriox can do to a Mark IV helmet with only one hand, it's not out of the question that Doomguy could straight up crush the Mjolnir with his bare hands.
Hiro: Given that Doomguy can quite literally rip any demon to shreds with no weapon or effort whatsoever, he could likely just snap Chief like a twig. Chief's luck was the only thing he really had against Doomguy in this fight, but considered that he's the literal embodiment of overpowered, Chief's luck would do little to save him. Cortana would also not be much of a help here, as with Chieg's augmentations and training.
Yang: Damn. He practically outdid him in every way.
MBStarscream: Yeah, they make him really strong, but that's only in the Halo universe. Doomguy is responsible for single-handedly taking on the entirety of Hell and coming out without a scratch, whereas Chief has been known to struggle against simple Covenant foot-soldiers. Really doesn't stack up that well, does it?

Hiro: His incredible service record, training, abilities, hyper-lethality and luck allowed Chief to put up quite a fight, but it just wasn't enough to counter Doomguy's superior physicality, tougher armor and better feats.
MBStarscream: Chief was no match for one powerful Doomguy.
Weiss: God, he's as bad at joking as Boomstick is.
