"What's going on?" Sydney asks as she lies on her bed, her hair framing her face as she stares at the ceiling. She has her new script next to her, she should probably be reading it. But instead she is holding her phone inches from her face as she Skypes Thea, who has an excited smile on her face as she looks at her blonde friend from the darkness of her bedroom. It's not dark out, Thea just has all of the lights and windows shut because that's just who she is.
"I have a surprise for you, babe." Thea says as she smirks lightly. Her hair is in a messy ponytail, stray brown locks framing her heart shaped face, and she's wearing an oversized t-shirt Sydney knows used to belong to Jax.
"Okay, you know how I feel about surprises." Sydney whines, rolling her eyes at her friend.
"First of all, stop with the attitude," Thea orders, only half joking. Sydney cracks a smile. "And secondly, trust me. You're gonna love this one. Also, when have I ever surprised you and it went wrong?" Thea asks, frowning.
"Uh, remember that time you got me a dog for National Best Friend's day?" Sydney questions, raising an eyebrow.
"You loved Scruffles!" Her friend exclaims, throwing her hands up in the air, irritated.
"I couldn't take care of him! Not when I'm going from Cali to Atlanta all the time!" Sydney explains for the nth time, feeling annoyed at the memory of her friend and her arguing over a small fluffy dog. "I loved him and that's why I'm still emotionally damaged from not being able to keep him!" As Sydney finishes her rant, Thea's face falls. A smirk replaces her frown and Sydney's eyes widen. "What? ...You didn't get me another dog, did you?"
Thea shakes her head. "No, you just put us back on track." Sydney frowns, confused, before she sees her friend pull out two shiny pieces of paper. When the camera focuses properly, Sydney's eyes widen.
"No..." She whispers.
"Yup." A smile breaks out on the brunette's face. "Jax and I are visiting."
