The only reason Sydney claims to 'forgive' Chandler for being late, is because he arrives with peanut M&M's and Reese's peanut butter cups. Sydney has sweet and salty popcorn in two different bowls. The two spend hours upon hours re-watching the Harry Potter movies, but they only make it to the third.

The two spend more time talking to each other in hushed voices rather than watching the movies, though Sydney does love the Harry Potter universe. If they're not talking about anything, then they're eating way too much candy- at around 1:30 in the morning, Sydney silently walks to the kitchen to get a bag of gummy bears almost as big as her head. And when they're not doing that, they are shifting around.

Apparently, the two can't stay put. When they started the first movie, they both had their backs to the headboard of the bed, Sydney's head on Chandler's shoulder. By the end on it, her legs were on top of his. During the beginning of the second one, she was on his lap. Midway through it, he was sitting up in his original spot and she was laying stomach down with her feet in the air, her head propped up by her hands as she watched the movie unfold.

The second movie is near its end when she sits back down on his lap. Even when they talk, their eyes are on the screen in front of them. Only when the movie finishes, do they look at each other. "We're watching the next one?" Chandler asks her.

She chuckles, turning to look at him. "Obviously-" She cuts herself off, her voice trailing off when she notices how close the two truly are. Her eyes betray her as they fall to his lips, and she snaps them back to meet his gaze quickly. She can't really decipher his facial expression. He's not trying to pull away, his hands are still around her, and he's looking at her as intently as she's looking at him.

As she sees his eyes snap to her own lips, she moves. "Screw it." Her words are almost inaudible, the only reason he's able to understand them being their proximity. She does it all in one very fluid movement; her hand leaves his, cups his jaw, and she presses their lips together.

It's not the first time they've kissed, obviously. Or the second, or the third, or the fourth. But it's the first time they've kissed without cameras around, without playing a character, just being them. They're not two actors on one of the biggest TV shows in the whole of history, they're just themselves.

She's craning her neck to kiss him, so she pulls away for just a second to shift her position again, her legs now on either side of his instead on top of them, his hands still on her hips as he kisses her again. Her fingers pull him closer by his shirt as he deepens the kiss, her mind a rumble of static sound in that moment. Nothing's playing, but there's just so much white noise. He tastes like a mix of chocolate and salted popcorn and peanut butter, and she tastes like gummy bears and Coca-Cola, and as they hold onto each other like they never have before, they feel happy.

When they pull away, they do it slowly. Lips slowly pulling apart, eyes slowly opening. Because neither of them want to pull away, but they know they have to. And as sky blue eyes meet baby blue ones, they feel afraid.
