Michael Pov

So I was relaxing in my room. And by relaxing I mean blaring punk rock and playing video games on my computer. I saw a huge black dog. That wasn't the weird thing though. The weird thing was that the dog had a rider.The rider was a teenager with longish shaggy black hair. His attire was all black topped with a black aviator jacket. Okay. This day just went from okay to weird in about three seconds.

The rider climbed off his dog and came up to my window and knocked. I got up from my comfy position in front of my computer. I unlocked my window.He came in my room and just stood by the window.

"I'm Nico and you might want to sit for this." I sat back down in my former position.

"So This might come as a shock to you, but one of your parents is a Greek god and you need to come with me. and I'll explain on the way and when we get there." Why should I trust this mysterious stranger named Nico?

"Where are we going?" I asked. He chuckled. "New York." He said. Now I was extremely confused. How were we supposed to get from Australia to New York in a few minutes . I was sure that I had a look of pure confusion on my face. Nico picked up on my look.

"It's called shadow traveling. Children of Hades and creatures of the underworld can do it. By the way I'm also a demigod. My dad is Hades, God of the underworld and riches under the earth. But come on we need to leave before they show up."

"Whose they and what is that huge dog like thing?" I asked. The dog had been burning in the back of my mind since Nico had shown up.

"They are monsters who hunt demigods and the dog is my cousin's pet hell hound Mrs. O'leary." Who has a pet hell hound anyway?

"Come on. We need to leave."  Nico told me....... again. I decided that I would trust this Nico guy and go with him to New York. I followed him out of my window and to Mrs. O'leary who was sleeping on the sidewalk.

"Hey, girl I'm sorry to wake you up, but we need you to take us back to camp." Nico said to the sleeping dog. Who talks to dogs anyway?

Mrs. O'leary stood up and yawned. Nico climbed on her back and held his hand out to me. I grabbed his hand and Nico pulled me up behind him."Hold On." To what exactly? I wrapped my arms around Nico.

"Michael, are you ready?" He asked. "Um, I guess so." He tapped Mrs. O'leary's  ear and she perked up."Take us to Camp." With that she shot off towards the shadow of a tree. I'll admit it. I screamed a little.

Luke Pov

Grover was Showing me the forest and the capture the flag boundaries when a huge black dog with two riders appeared out of nowhere. Yep it scared me.  The black dog was a hell hound almost twice as big as the one that was chasing me. Damn I hate hell hounds even more now. Grover laughed. The two riders dismounted and the hell hound ran into the shadows and disappeared.

Grover and the guy who was in front started talking leaving me and the new guy standing there awkwardly."  Nico, you had to drive Mrs. O'leary here?" Grover playfully yelled at Nico."Grover, I didn't know you were going to be here. I came here because this is where there are a lot of shadows."Nico argued.

"Well, Next time look where you are going. This is Luke." Grover pointed at me."And Nico, who is that?" Grover asked. Nico smirked. That's Michael. Michael;Luke. Luke;Michael." Michael and I shook hands.

"Michael, that's Grover." Nico pointed at Grover. "And Luke, I'm Nico if you haven't figured that out yet." Nico said.

"Nico wanna join me and Luke and give Michael a tour?" Grover asked Nico."Um. Yeah sure, but can we do it quick because my dad needs my help with something." Who was Nico's dad? Were Nico and Michael demigods as well?" Random thoughts kept running through my head as I walked around Camp Half Blood with Grover, Nico and Michael. We were about to see the cabins. We passed a black cabin with skulls. In other words it was awesome.

"Hey Grover, can we stop really quickly because I left something in my cabin?" Nico asked.

"Yeah sure Nico." Grover replied. Nico ran into the awesome cabin.

"Luke, Michael, That's the Hades cabin. Whoever your godly parent is, you sleep in their designated cabin. You also train with them and eat to." Grover explained to us. The Gods have been busy if all of those 20-30 cabins were filled with demigods. Nico came back out of the cabin with a number 13 over the door holding a piece of paper and he also had a sword strapped to his waist. Nico folded the piece of paper and put it in his back pocket. It looked like a ticket to something.

I saw Michael looking at cabin 13 with fascination. We walked by two large marble white cabins with a number one and two over the doors."Zeus and Hera. I guessed. Nico nodded. I had a felling that I was supposed to be in Cabin one. I don't know why I felt that way, I just did.

"Grover, Luke, Michael, gotta go." Nico said before walking into a shadow and disappearing like the hell hound did earlier. I heard a conch shell blowing in the distance. Michael and I looked at Grover with confused looks on our faces."Dinner time." Grover said. And he led us to the dining pavilion.
