ATHENA COVERED HER face with her hands and groaned loudly when she sees the faces standing at the top of the stairs in front of an apartment door. "Athena?" The girl known as Henley questioned. Athena let her hands fall down to her side and look up at them with a somber expression on her face.

"You two should not be in the same room, considering I know you. Heck, you two should not even be on the same continent." The girl said as she continues to climb up the remaining stairs and stood in front of them. Henley cracked a smile and hug the younger girl. Athena hug her back with a smile on her face. They pulled away from each other. Henley was one of Athena's childhood best friend. Athena already assumed her as her big sister.

They pulled away from each other and Athena turns to the one and only asshole, J. Daniel Atlas. "Atlas" She acknowledges him and gives him a curt nod which Daniel reply with an awkward wave. She knew him through Henley and immediately hated him. She turns to the old man in front of the door. "Hmm, Mentalist, and likes to bring out the asshole out of everybody" Athena stand in front of him.

"And that is how we're gonna get along well if all of this doesn't blow to shit, Athena Knight" She held out her hand for the old man to shake and introduce herself. The old man shakes her, with a weird face on. "Merritt McKinney, how-" He was cut off by Athena "You're not the only person who can figure people out." She stated.

"So-uh you got a card?" Danny asks the young girl. "Well, you're not special" Athena replied him. Henley has a wide grin on her face. A scowl appeared on Danny's face "Well you guys enjoy each other's company" Danny said and move to get out of the building. "No way, J. Daniel Atlas?" A voice can be heard from the stairs. "Dude, I've seen everything that you have done, You're like... I idolize you, seriously" The voice said with an awestruck face. Athena recognizes that voice and a smirk appeared on her face.

"From a true fan.," Danny said and shake the guy's hand. "I'm Jack by the way." He said looking at the others behind Danny. Athena steps to the front, "This is Henley, Merritt and I know you know me." Athena said and held her hand out, Jack was speechless. He looks down at her hands and got confused for a second. "Sometime today." The young magician exclaimed. Jack looked up to her face, "What?" He asks, confused by the girl's words.

"I know you have my wallet, and I want it back now before I grow old and die," Athena said with a little sarcasm in her tone. The others watch them with a goofy grin on their face. Jack take out her wallet with a defeated face on. Athena takes the wallet and turns to the others. "Now what?" She asks the others. Merritt takes out something from his jacket pocket and shows it to them.

"Question. Did you get one of these?" He asks the obviously younger people in the room. "Yeah, Death," Jack exclaimed from behind Athena, she glanced at him by turning her head a little and smirked. "The High Priestess," Henley said, "I'm The Lover," Danny said with a proud face. " *coughs* three minutes," Henley said and the other girl in the room snickered. "Hermit" Merritt exclaimed. Henley then turn to Athena "What about you A?" She asks her.

"Well, I'm The Empress," She said showing her tarot card that she took out from her bag. "And the Ace of Swords." She flips the card and showed it to them. The other was speechless because they've never seen a two sided tarot card before.

"Why and how did you get two of them?" Danny asks with jealousy lacing in his words. "Show's I'm better" Athena replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "So, what are we... Are we waiting for someone? Why are we just..." Jack asks. "Door's locked," Henley and Danny said at the same time. "Oh, no, nothing's ever locked," Jack said before pushing Athena out of the way to get to the door. "Oh, you're so paying for that" Athena grumble under her breath which can only be heard by Danny. The famous street magician ignored her when he heard the sound of a creaking door.

All of them slowly walk into the place. Athena immediately pinches her nose with her thumb and her pointing finger when a horrible smell hit her nose. "What is this place?" Henley asks no one in particular. Merritt opened a door to reveal an awful looking toilet. "Oh! Wow, thought my apartment was nasty" He exclaimed before shutting the door. "It smells awful, I mean it's not helping with Atlas here," Athena said and throw an insult to Danny who returns her a glare.

Athena look around the apartment, there was nothing... why did the person who gave her... well them, the tarot cards want them here?
