42 Beachy Kiss

Listen to Boys by Charlie XCX
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this music video is?  There's no objectification of men, but just simple appreciation of all the little things.

Diane Jewel

It was a heated yes or no moment.

Simon rubbed his tired eyes in frustration and hid his face from me for an entire minute.  I still kneeled in front of the couch, his indecisiveness making me nervous every second that ticked away.

I didn't know what he was going to say to me.

What if he said that this was too much for him?  That he can't live with the gnawing thought that I was hiding something big from him?

When his hands fell down, he threw me a blunt look before standing up.  I could tell that he had regained his poise and had made a decision.

Simon wordlessly stood up and moved a few yards.  My eyes swelled at his retrieving figure and I sank deeper into the floor.

But then he turned and released a deep, passionate sigh before...stretching his hand out for me.

My breath hitched, followed by my heart's flutter.  I openly stared at his, my thoughts oscillating between disbelief and reality.

I've been given another chance?

When he saw my confused face, he grunted, "Let's go for a walk."  His voice was hoarse and thick with emotion.

In the blink of an eyelid, I had scrambled to my feet and had taken his hand with a newly formed smile floating on my face.

"Okay," I blurted, taking his hand.

His smile was light and small, but it was a fucking ray of hope for me.  This was enough.  I'll accept this.

For the first time since I came here, I took the time to take in Simon's image.

Even in his Power Rangers pyjama pants, he looked breathtaking.  The mild yellow light of the room smoothed his pale skin caressingly.  His biceps stretched the fabric on his shirt, while I watched the mild breeze from the window fluttered his beautiful hair.  But his eyes...his eyes stared back at my face, drinking in every detail of my face as I did.  For a long moment, we locked eyes with each other, his strongly magnetic diamond eyes making my legs become noodles.

My lips parted.

I wanted to tell him how much he charmed me, but no sound came out.

When I felt him tugging at my hand to lead me out, I cleared my throat, coming back to Earth.  "S-simon?  Can you bring me a jacket?  I'm kinda cold."

His eyes quickly roamed down to my dress before meeting my eyes again.  "Umm...I don't think I have a jacket."

"Oh!  A hoodie, then?  Or a sweater?"

Ugh, God?  Why was I so breathless right now?  Did I run a marathon and completely forget about it?  Because that's what he made me feel like.

The little quirking up of his lips was almost invisible.  "I don't have anything, Dy."

But the naughty glint in his eyes gave it away.

"Simon!" I complained, blowing his lie.

A throaty laugh erupted from him as he pulled me closer, wrapping his large warm hands around me to whisper a promise.

"I'll keep you warm."

His hand never left mine as we aimlessly wandered on the roads at three in the morning.  It was still dark outside, but I felt the warmth from Simon trickling to my heart, slowly and carefully melting the dense animosity that had built between us.  And I felt closer and closer to him each second.

When two roads parted in front of us, we stopped and turned towards each other.

His soothing voice asked, "Want to go to the beach?"

I nodded and we wordlessly continued on one path till we inhaled the salt in the beach air.   The ocean softly crashed with the rocky shore as a lone silver line under the moon.

I hugged myself tighter against the sea breeze as we collapsed onto the sand, facing each other.

Simon's hand reached my covering hands to pull them away so that he could take a better look of my body.

My heart stopped beating as I let him view me, shy eyes straying away to look at the sea.

My heart didn't feel like it was in the right place.

When I heard an almost inaudible gasp from him, my eyes flew to his face again.  His lips parted as he examined every inch of me before he closed his eyes with a strain of embarrassment in his brows.  I squirmed.

"I'm so sorry if this is inappropriate," he started, opening his eyes to watch my face again, "but you look so damn sexy in this dress."

I turned red in the darkness, my breath quite wheezy even now.

"I just can't stop looking at you," he whispered.

I hung my head down, flustered and ashamed.  "Umm...Thanks? It...It's Dixie's.  I went to a...a party...today.  So I took it from...her clo-closet..."  I stopped talking when my words faltered.

Simon's big hands reached up and landed protectively on each side of my neck, cupping them.  They slowly stroked up the entire length of my neck, making the hair on my back immediately shoot up straight.

I couldn't spot what the queasy feeling in my stomach was.  Simon was doing something to me I've never felt before.

His hand stroked down my the tingling skin of my neck again, soothing all the way around my shoulders, moving under the sleeve of my dress.

His hazel eyes darkened carnally when I involuntarily sucked my lower lip into my mouth.

My entire body responded to his touch when he tugged at my bra strap.

Simon smirked.  "You know?  Our first kiss didn't go so well."

I gulped, totally losing my body to paralysis.

"You want me to make you forget that even happened?"

My intake of breath was audibly sharp when his lips plunged into the sensitive skin of my neck.  My hands flew to his shoulders for balance and my touch only made him move on my skin with a wilder pace.

I whimpered when he twirled my bra strap around a finger.  Feeling like I might faint, clutched tighter at his wide shoulder.

I fell back on my elbow when his lips met mine.  He leaned above me, one hand on the floor while the other roamed on the side of my waist, slowly moving up.  His tongue jutted out to lick my lower lip and I wantonly opened my mouth for him.  An electric shock coursed through my spine when his tongue met mine.

Simon's hand smoothed through the side of my breast to my shoulder, then to my neck where he finally stopped to hold my head in place.  When his teeth hungrily bit into mine, I flattened my palm to push him away.

I gasped for breath.  "Stop!  You're making me horny."

He only smirked with his wet, plump lips.  He panted, watching me from the corner of his eyes.

"I want to talk to you," I inhaled.

He nodded for me to continue.

"Is it...Is it okay for you that I'm keeping a secret?  Even if it might affect whatever we have...between us now?"

He closed his eyes, breathing deeply.  "Yes.  If it is okay for you that I have a similar secret."

"So, then," I grumbled, dusting the sand off my elbow, "do you want to be my boyfriend?"

Please vote and make me smile.

Ah!  Things are finally working out for these too, isn't it?  Are you as glad as I am?  I'm so happy for them.  Hehe!

Question:  Would you rather wrestle a bear or an alligator?
