And so Vienna waited. Waited for the day when Robert Wolf showed up at her doorstep. Waited for the moment when he cornered her with that little black pistol to her head. Waited for moment he pulled the trigger.

Okay, so maybe she was overdoing it.

Still, is she really ready to give all the money up? To just never talk to Wolf again? To pretend like the last few years of her life never happened? She isn't sure.

But when she catches sight of Dexter watching her as she spends the night home with him, proud of her for giving it up, she wonders if it's for the better.

It was like a constant game of Tug of War was being played inside her head.

But you know what? She was proud. She was proud that she was no longer working for the duche bag. She was proud that she finally had the courage to be open and honest about things with Dexter for once. And most importantly, she was proud of herself.

She was also proud of the fact that she had found herself a proper job. Well, Dexter's friend Jess found it for her, to be exact. Vienna was currently working as a waitress with Jess just a few blocks down the street from Dexter's apartment. It sure as hell didn't make as much money as a con-artist did, but you know what? She was okay with that.

She was really turning things around.

Dexter of all people was being extremely supportive. Too supportive. You'd think he'd be a little upset about the fact that the only reason she was there to begin with was to steal all of his money. But he never really said anything about it. Maybe, she thought, maybe that was his way of trying to get over it.

And so the average persons life started to flood hers. She was living with her friend, working a normal job, and for once, even started to feel good about herself. She was finally happy.

That is, until Robert Wolf catches up to her.
