Ch.25 Fun
Grian stirred in his sleep, not that he minded much. Quick kisses were being peppered across his face, a light weight lying on top of him. Without opening his eyes, he moved to chase after the lips, capturing them in a sweet kiss. A giggle made him open his eyes.
"Morning," Sam smiled at him.
"Morning," Grian rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Oh, fuck off, Sam," Grian turned to face a very grumpy Dom snuggled up next to him.
"I guess someone should have locked the door then," He teased before leaning in to kiss Dom, who instantly deepened the kiss.
Grian wasn't going to lie, he found it very hot when the other's kissed. He could also tell that Dom was really enjoying the kiss. He tried to wiggle out of bed, but Dom's arms tightened around him.
"Where do you think you are going?" Dom whispered huskily in his ear.
"To change?"
"Come on, Dom. Taurtis made breakfast," Sam coaxed.
Grian laughed as Dom just about rolled out of bed, slipping on a pair of pajama pants and bolted out the door.
"Now that he's gone.." Just as Sam was about to close the distance between then, a pillow as flown at the back of his head.
His head snapped around to glare at the door, "What!"
J looked entirely unimpressed, "Let's go."
Sam grumbled as he got off Grian, and down the hall after J. Grian shook his head as he got up, quickly changing and meeting the others around the counter.
Taurtis pressed a kiss to his forehead, "Did you sleep well?"
"Yes," Grian picked a piece of bacon off his plate.
"Even with Dom's snoring?"
Dom glared at Sam, "I do Not snore."
Sam imitated him, earning him a shove.
"No fighting at the table," J scolded.
"It's not a table, it's a counter," Sam quipped.
"No fighting at the counter."
Sam pouted, "You're no fun."
"Well, sorry I'm the only responsible one around here."
Grian gave a distressed noise.
"Other than Grian."
Grian smiled as he ate his pancakes.
"Are we doing anything today?" Dom asked.
Taurtis shook his head, "Not that I know of."
Sam perked up, "I want to go to the park!"
"You can go after you finish studying for finals."
Sam grumbled as he stuffed more pancakes into his mouth. J rolled his eyes, "If you can finish the rest of the worksheets for French, I'll take you."
"Yay!" Sam picked up his plate and scampered off to his room.
"You couldn't have waited until he was done?"
"What? He's happier now, isn't he?"
"Yeah, but you're not the one that has to sleep on crums tonight," Taurtis grimaced.
Sam came skipping back down the hall, "I'm done."
J frowned, "Let me see."
He handed the papers over to J, who proceeded to thoroughly check each one. He glanced skeptically at Sam, "How many questions did you have left?"
Sam smiled sweetly, "Two."
J eyes narrowed, "You played me."
"Park now?" Sam rocked on his heels.
"Fine," J huffed.
"YAY!" Sam ran off down the hall to change.
J glance at the others, "Do you guys want to come along?"
Grian shrugged, "Sure, I could use some fresh air."
Taurtis swung an arm around Dom, smirking at him, "Do you want to stay in?"
Dom narrowed his eyes at him, "Hell no."
"Then that settles it," J finished up his breakfast, "We're leaving in five."
Grian gave another distressed sound, shoveling more of his breakfast into his mouth.
---
The park was relatively quiet. Nearly everyone was still inside studying for finals. Grian took a deep breath as he laid back on the picnic blanket, soaking up as much sun as he could. Sam sat off to the side of him with Taurtis laying across the blanket with his head in his lap. J and Dom were playing catch with a frisbee.
"We should do this more," Sam mused.
"We'd have to plan it very carefully to avoid crowded times," J pointed out, "It won't be as peaceful with more people."
There were only a few other people in the park, and they were all sitting at tables with books and laptops laid out in front of them.
Sam nodded as he ran his hands through Taurtis's hair, "Yeah, but it's still nice. Simple things are good every now and then."
Dom scoffed, "I did not just hear that from mister-I-buy-designer-things-only."
Sam stuck his tongue out at him, "Shut up!"
"The sun is nice though," Taurtis mumbled. Grian nodded, his eyes sliding shut. Sam shook them, "Don't fall asleep!"
Grian sat up, while Taurtis just batted at Sam's hands. Grian chuckled and shook his head. He turned his attention to J and Dom. Each time they passed the frisbee to each other, they took a step back. They were getting to an impressive distance.
Sam rolled his eyes at them, "They're showing off."
Grian frowned at him, "What?"
"Dom's a very competitive person, but he's only competitive over something with one person," Taurtis explained, "Like how he and Sam constantly pick at each and how he likes to challenge my dominance a lot. With J, he gets competitive over sports."
Grian nodded, "Oh."
"He's weird," Sam smirked.
"Heard that!"
"Fuck you!"
Taurtis smiled from Sam's lap, "You see what I mean?"
Sam sighed, "J! I'm bored!"
"Bug Taurtis!"
Sam pouted, crossing his arms. Taurtis got up from his lap, "Do you want something Sammy?"
Sam nodded, still pouting.
"Do you want J?"
Sam nodded again.
"Dom!" Taurtis beckoned him over.
Dom huffed, but ran over, "What?"
Taurtis patted the space next to him, "Sit."
Dom plopped down next to him. J walked back to them with the frisbee, sitting down next to Sam, who instantly stopped pouting and hugged him tightly.
Dom sighed, "Did you have to stop our game for him?"
Taurtis laid down to lay his head in Dom's lap, "Yes."
Dom glared down at him, "I'm not brushing your hair."
"That's fine."
Dom huffed again, but soon his hands were running through his hair.
Grain snickered at the four. J raised his eyebrow at him, "What?"
Grian smiled, "Nothing. You're just all adorable."
Sam held his arms out to him, "You look lonely over there. Com'ere."
Grian crawled over to rest his head on Sam's shoulder. It was nice. He had never been to the park with anyone other than his mom. She used to take him a lot when he was younger. He remembered playing on the monkey bars. She held him up and helped him cross a few times before she let him do it on his own. Though she kept close just in case he fell. Now, here he was. With four boyfriends, laying in the middle of a park. Oh, how times have changed.
"I don't mean to destroy the mood," J began, "But I have a Bio-Chem final to study for."
Taurtis nodded, glancing at his phone, "Yeah, we should go. It's almost lunchtime. And this place is gonna be crowded."
They gathered up their things and went back to their dorm. A package was waiting for them.
"Is that what I think it is?" Sam asked as they entered the dorm.
"I think it is," Taurtis smirked.
"EEK!" Sam took the box from him.
"What is that?" Dom frowned.
"Mandatory," Sam said, "Except for you Grian."
Taurtis shrugged, "You were warned."
Dom groaned, "No. No! Absolutely not!"
"Well, that's too bad," Sam skipped off with the box.
"Come on, Dom. It's not that bad," Taurtis reseasoned.
"Easy for you to say. You don't have to wear a skirt."
"Skirt?" Grian questioned.
"Again Grian, you don't have to if you don't want to," Taurtis said, "Sam just loves role-plays."
Grian glanced at J, who shrugged, "It's not as bad as Dom makes it out to be."
"And it's not happening until after we get back from break," Sam entered the room, "So, there's plenty of time to think it over."
"What exactly would we be doing?"
"Mostly cleaning. The dorm could use another clean soon."
Grian was still slightly confused, but it didn't seem like he was going to get any more answers out of anyone. Sam dragged Taurtis off to their room, J went off to his room to start studying, and Dom flopped onto the couch to watch TV. Grian supposed it could be something to look forward to for after the break. It wasn't like he was opposed to the idea, especially if it was something they could all do together. After all, it could end up being a lot of fun.
