Thunder claps over the music playing from Spencer's radio, and laughter fills the barn. I sit on an old sofa chair, a blanket draping over my lap. My twin sister, Aria, sits on the ground by my chair, resting an arm out to lean on. Sitting on the couch across from us, Emily passes a red cup full of alcohol to Spencer.

"Where's Ali?" I ask Spencer, sitting beside me.

"I don't know. She's supposed to be here," Spencer answers. She looks at the barn doors before focusing back on me, shrugging. The five of us continue to joke and laugh while occasionally sipping the drinks Hanna brought. Another loud clap of thunder fills the barn as the music abruptly stops and the lights go out.

"Who, what happened?" Emily asks.

"It must be the storm," Spencer responds. The sound of rustling leaves and bushes makes us look up in fear at the barn doors.

"That's definitely not the storm," I whisper, throwing the blanket off my lap—sitting up.

"Something's out there," Aria says, standing up and grabbing a flashlight. I take my sister's arm, following her. As we inch closer, the doors loudly creak open. Hanna, Spencer, and Emily join behind us, walking toward the doors. Aria shines the flashlight on the wooden doors. Alison's blonde hair blows in the wind as she jumps out—scaring us.

"Gotcha!" Alison yells, laughing.

"That's so not funny Alison!" Spencer shouts.

"I thought it was hilarious, girls," Alison says, laughter still hanging in her voice. I laugh at Alison, hugging her as we walk to the couches and chairs.

"Ali, did you download the new Beyonce?" Hanna, the other blonde, asks. Alison sits down in the seat beside mine while Spencer and Hanna sit on the couch. I grab a cup from the table, almost chugging it, and ignore the burning sensation in my throat.

"Not yet," Alison answers. I reposition the blanket over my lap, facing my body towards Ali.

"Aria and I can't stop listening to it," I admit, and she smiles.

"I'm loving her new video," Emily says, pulling her knees up to her chest and smiling.

"Maybe a little too much, Em," Alison replies, smiling. Emily's smile fades, but we laugh it off as one of Ali's jokes. Ali gives a cup to my sister, and I watch her take it hesitantly.

"Your turn, go on." Aria takes a sip, smiling as Alison encourages her to do so. I twirl a piece of my brown hair with teal highlights around my finger, laughing with the girls. Well, they were teal, now they're more of a faded sea green. Aria and I decided to be spontaneous this year for our birthday and get matching highlights; only mine are teal, and hers are hot pink.

"Careful, Aria, take too much, and you'll tell us all your secrets," Spencer laughs.

"Friends share secrets. That's what keeps us close," Alison says. I play with the name bracelet on my right wrist that Ali gave us before she left to visit her grandma in Georgia. "Drink up."

I open my eyes, rubbing them before sitting up. The blanket covering me bunches up as I kick it off of me. I look around the barn, making sure the girls are asleep. Quietly, I stand up and sneak my way toward the barn doors. I slowly open the doors, hoping not to make too much noise.

They creak a bit as I slide through the small crack I made. I close the door behind me softly and walk toward the DiLaurentis house. Alison would so kill me if she knew I was sneaking out to see her brother—especially since it's not the first time she's caught us.

I walk up the steps of their back porch. The door is almost always unlocked, as Ali and Jason use it to sneak out of the house easily. I silently walk through the door, shutting it behind me. The house is quiet, which means Mrs. And Mr. DiLaurentis are probably asleep upstairs. I walk through the living room, past the grand piano, and upstairs. I stop in place when I notice the light coming from the crack in Alison's door. I tip-toe down the hallway to Jason's room on the left, slowly opening his door.

The walls are littered with different rock band posters, and the black curtains covering the window make his room darker despite the light being on. Some drawers on his dresser are slightly open, and his hamper is almost full of undone laundry. A basketball and skateboard, which he hasn't ridden in years, sit at the foot of his bed.

When I walk into his room, I see him lying on his bed with his eyes closed and his arms crossed over his bare-toned chest—his biceps flexing as he does so. The sweatpants he's wearing hang low, showing off his prominent V-line. I hear the punk rock music from the headphones attached to the iPod resting in his lap. His eyes slowly open as I close the door. He removes the headphones, leaving them to wrap around his neck.

"Does Alison know you're here?" He asks, not moving from his position. I kick off my Converse and leave them by his door.

"Nope," I respond, popping the p.

"Come here."

He pushes himself up to sit on the side of his bed, resting his arms on his thighs. I walk towards him while he puts his headphones and iPod on the nightstand beside his bed. He immediately wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me in between his legs. I run my fingers through his grown-out hair as he rests his head on my chest.

I love rare moments like this when I spend time with Jason. I always got to see a side to him that no one else did. It was comforting. Special. Like he saved it just for me. Everyone saw him as the troublemaker bad boy who liked to drink and party. While some of that might be true, that isn't who Jason was truly. Only a persona he puts on with his frat buddies and Ian Thomas.

But when he's alone, especially with me. Like this. He's quiet, loving, caring, and, most of all, gentle. He lifts his head, looking up at me with his green eyes.

"I got you something," he says, softly.

"Really?" I ask. He removes his arms from my waist, opening the drawer to his nightstand. He pulls out a cream-colored box and hands it to me. I take it and stare down at it—blinking.

"Open it," he says. I remove the ribbon and top, seeing an emerald gem charm with a silver A initial hanging on a chain. My mouth opens and closes at a loss for words. It's the prettiest thing I've ever gotten from someone.

"Jason...it's beautiful. Thank you," I say, glancing up at him. I notice the smile on his face as he takes the box from my hands. He puts the box beside his iPod, taking the necklace into his hands. He stands up, towering over me. "I love it."

"Turn around." I turn around, pulling my hair over my shoulder to help him avoid snagging the chain on my hair. He clasps the necklace and kisses my neck. His hands trail up my arms softly, causing a shiver to go up my spine. Jason turns me around, grabs me by the back of my neck, and kisses me. I immediately kiss him back. He backs up, sitting on the side of his bed.

Without breaking the kiss, he lifts me by my waist and makes me straddle his lap. His hands stay on my waist as I wrap my arms around his neck. He breaks the kiss, resting his forehead on mine.

"I missed you," he whispers. His breath fans over my face, smelling of mint and a bit of weed.

"I missed you too, Jace."

Jace, a nickname only I call him, one of which he loves. I run my fingers through his hair, kissing him again. He kisses back eagerly, and his tongue licks my bottom lip.

I push myself out of Jason's bed, taking one last glance at his sleeping face. I brush a strand of his dirty blonde hair out of his face and kiss his forehead. Sliding on my Converse, I quietly walk out of his room and downstairs. I sneak back out through the back door, walking toward Spencer's backyard.

"Ali?" I hear a voice call out. I freeze in place as footsteps come closer. "Abby?"

Shit. I see Spencer walking toward me with her arms crossed. I quickly think of a lie to tell, but nothing comes to mind.

"Where were you? Have you seen Ali? She wasn't in the barn when I woke up. I can't find her," Spencer explains, looking around. Bingo.

"No...I was looking for her too, but she's not home," I lie straight through my teeth, crossing my arms. "I don't know where she is."

"I think I heard her scream."

"You heard a scream?" Worry flows through my body, and suddenly, I don't want to be outside anymore. I look around and then grab Spencer's arm. "Come on, let's go back to the barn. Maybe she came back."

We walk back to the barn and see Aria in front of the open barn doors.

"Ali?" Aria calls out, shining a flashlight on us.

"She's gone," Spencer says.

"What do you mean she's gone?" Aria asks, shifting her gaze between Spencer and me.

"I looked everywhere for her," Spencer answers, walking into the barn with me. "I think I heard her scream."

Heyyy!! Finally!! It's time!!! The 14th anniversary was 6 days ago, and I decided now is the time to publish this book! I'm starting with Jason DiLaurentis, of course since it's the one I've been working on the longest. (I have three of PLL fan fics, which include Mike, Caleb, and Toby)

I hope you enjoyed it!<3

Edited A/N: I changed a bit of stuff in this chapter. First, my oc's name is now Abigail because I stopped liking the name, Alexis. So, for any future edited parts if you see the name Alexis please point it out to me so I can change it. I'll try not to miss any.

I also changed the look of the necklace that Jason gives Abby because the last one was cringe af and I like the newer simple classy version with her favorite stone. This story is also in first person now because I'm enjoying that pov for my fan fiction now!

I'm also adding a bit more descriptions like Jason's room. I just did what I felt like would fit him. I definitely feel like he was a skater at some point or he's a poser. I don't know why I just think it fits him! Anyway, stay tuned for more edited versions coming soon!
