Last Chapter

Well if this fanfic has taught me anything it is that I need to set dates for when I will post the next chapter -CJ

That night, they did leave. Dean was staying at some trashy motel a mile away named something stupid that looked like it belonged in some 1970 retro movie. It smelled like air freshener and moldy bread but he had needed somewhere to bunk. Besides, while he was trying to find his feet down in Texas he had stayed in plenty of them, even ones that charged by the hour (if you knew what he meant) just to get a bit of sleep. Of course that didnt happen because the couple next door was, well, lets not get into that. Lets just say there were whips and ropes and it was two very masculine voices.

The mechanic snuck into the camp at night, some of his old friends had helped him out, and he made his way to Cas's expensive cabin. The teen had told his brother, Gabe and sister, Anna what he was up to and given them the address but he told no one else.

Dean got to the house, the too loud sound of his boots crunching in the gravel putting him on edge. The cabin, well, house that Cas was staying at was one of the most expensive. Painted a pure white with a mahogany trim around the windows and doors and a dark brown roof. It stood two stories tall and had an off-the-ground patio that had stairs leading down. Luckily Cas was staying on the first floor and had put a book leaning up in his bedroom window to signal to Dean which one it was.

He quietly snuck around the house and found said window. It was on the opposite side of the house and it had the book Robin Hood leaned up against the glass. Cas totally would. He tapped three times, paused for two seconds, then tapped three times again. About the second tap after the pause a ghostly white cat sprang up on the windowsill out of the dark and Dean nearly screamed but finished the tap.

Cas came and opened the window, luckily it was well oiled and barely made any noise. "Got everything?" Dean whispered. Cas clipped a leash to the cat's collar and stepped out, giving his boyfriend a quick kiss on the lips. Dean frowned.

"Oh no, that hell spawn ain't comin with us," he said, a steely look on his face. Cas pouted. Actually stuck out his bottom lip and pouted. "Dean please he's harmless."

"No, nope nope nope," he said, shaking his head. Great, now the cat was pouting at him too. "He'll scratch the leather in my baby."

Cas rolled his eyes, "no she won't Dean please!" He begged.

"No Cas."

Oh great, now the teen was trying a different tactic. He dropped the duffle bag in the gravel and pressed against the older man, kissing his neck and letting the soft fingers of his free hand toy with Dean's belt and fuckfuckfuck Dean's is half-hard and he hasnt even done anything and he knows he's been beat because all he wants to do is slam Cas against that wall and fuck him.

"Fine fine! Jeez princess," he grumbled, taking a few steps away. Cas smiled and made sure the cat was through before he led the way. Getting out was harder than getting in because they had two people and that little demon thing he'd learned was called Grace with him but they made it and soon they were down the road. Dean had walked because he knew a car had drawn attention to them.

They made it though, and soon they were loaded into his car. Cas and demon spawn got comfortable while Dean checked out and when he got back Cas was curled up under a quilt and nearly asleep.

Dean had always loved it most when he was like this, hair ruffled, eyes half closed, nose under the edge of the blanket. He smiled and sat down in the driver's seat. "C'mere," he murmured, arm up on the back of the leather. Cas gladly did, curling up at Dean's warm side with the quilt all around him. The demon spawn even joined them too, curling up behind Cas's knees. The boy slept with his face pressed to Dean's neck and Dean kept him close with a heavy arm around him. It was nice like this, so nice that Dean took a picture with his camera before they started driving.

Cas slept most of the way there, about seven hours. Dean never stopped driving, not when his arm fell asleep, or when he had to pee two hours in. Even with the cat scratched the upholstery (he's pretty proud of himself for his restraint).

When they got to Dean's flat, he carried his stupid, quirky, adorable boyfriend and his demon cat inside and set them on the bed, their bed, then he grabbed the pictures from his car and set them on the nightstand. He eventually joined the two, after he could stop smiling and found frames for the pictures.

Their life together wouldn't be perfect. They'd get in stupid arguments and probably fight a lot because neither of them were the type to back down, but hey, they had each other (and that dumb cat) so theyd make it through.
