Dipper lay in his bed, reading a book. His sister, Mabel, walked in. "Watchya doing, little brother?" Dipper frowned and looked up from his book. "Don't start, Mabel." He groaned. Dipper was not impressed. Mabel smiled brightly. "I guess you have a tiny bit of a temper, don't you, Dipper?"  Dipper glared at her. "I'm not in the mood, Mabel!" He growled angrily. "And we agreed that you wouldn't tease me about that anymore, remember?" He reminded her. "Well, guess who is two milometers taller than you?" Mabel hinted triumphantly. Dipper dropped his book on the floor and stood up. "But.. But how?" He gasped with shock.

   "Soos measured me again," Mabel explained. "And I am a whole milometer taller!" She finished, looking very proud. Dipper looked mad. "Yeah, well, I bet I grew taller too!" He insisted. "Alpha twin! Alpha twin! Alpha twin!" Mabel chanted cheerfully. "Stop that!" Her brother demanded. Mabel didn't listen to him. "Alpha twin! Alpha twin! Alpha twin!" She chanted louder just to see how Dipper would react. Dipper started to lose his temper. "MABEL...." He warned. His twin cheered louder, not thinking Dipper would actually do something. "ALPHA TWIN! ALPHA TWIN! ALPHA TWIN!"  Dipper's anger took over. He pushed Mabel to the floor. "STOP. THAT." He yelled.

  Mabel was surprised, but she pushed him and he tripped and fell. Mabel was about to apologize when their great uncle, Grunkle Stan, walked in. "I heard fighting!" He announced. He saw the twins and both of them knew that if they didn't fight Grunkle Stan would be annoyed and disappointed. Mabel slapped Dipper and he hit her back. Mabel tripped over a stuffed animal and fell to the floor. She stood up and hit her brother with her Fun Stick. "Fun stick! Fun stick!"Mabel tried to lighten the mood again. She felt really bad for teasing her brother now. She had forgotten her promise, and now she really remembered. Before she though t Dipper was just making excuses, but she realized her mistake. Dipper noticed what she was doing and 'gave up'. Grunkle Stan did not notice that Mabel was just being friendly.  "Maybe next time you won't get short with your sister!" Grunkle Stan teased, laughing. Dipper blinked tears out of his eyes as Stan laughed at him and his failure."What's wrong, Dipper? Think we should tune it down a tiny bit?" Stan continued. Dipper couldn't stand to listen to Stan teasing him anymore.   He grabbed the third journal and stomped out. He slammed the door behind him and raced outside and into the forest. Mabel didn't have a chance to follow him.
