Mabel's POV
I was just finishing up work at the Mystery Shack when I got a call from Mason.
"H-hey Mabel?" Mason asked.
"Yeah?" I asked back.
"Do you have time after your shift to come over to my place?" Mason asked.
"Sure what for?" I replied.
"It's a surprise." Mason said.
"Mabel!!!!" Dipper was calling for me.
"Hey Mason I gotta go I'll see you when I get there! Bye." I said taking the phone off my ear hearing a bit of a faint bye.
Time skip!
I opened the door to Mason's house to see it romantically set up and Mason who was in a suit.
"Is this what I think what's happening?" I asked.
"Probably." Mason said coming closer to me then reaching into his back pocket.
I gasped. "Mason?!"
He kneeled down and nervously said, "M-M-Mabel P-Pines will you m-marry me?"
I sighed. Heartbroken to say this but I said, "Mason I just...no...I'm sorry." I felt like we should date for a bit longer before we do this I mean I know we already have a baby on the way but I'd pretty to take it slow.
Mason look sad and heartbroken as well. He stood up and said, "Heh...I should have expected that." He nervously laughed. "I'll be right back." Mason walked upstairs.
   "M-Mason! I'm sorry!" I sighed. I ran upstairs after him. I felt really bad and really wanted to tell him why I said no.
