Chapter 35: Carnage of the Beast!
A/N: Third POV chapter :3!

"Go!" Mesogog's voice rang through the stairwell when he made his drones run inside and leap over the rails to fall to the main floor. He followed after them, jumped over the rails, and fell.
One after another, thuds accompanied the alarms that blared and lit up the walls with flashes of red. As soon as Mesogog landed heavily in the middle of them all, he saw countless scientists scream and run from them through a wide-open door.
Women cried in terror and hid under desks, as Tyrannodrones charged through and ripped apart anyone who didn't hide. Mesogog strode through with long strides, ignoring the chaos and looking around for any means to reach the lowest floor. Glossy floors were painted crimson and documents were strewed everywhere when the drones barreled through.
Golden eyes looked up to see moving escalators, so he didn't spend another second and sprinted up the steps. His Tyrannodrones followed him after they finished off the workers, but more employees saw him sprint across the floor at the top once he saw a familiar hallway. If I can remember the layout she sketched, the elevator to the bottom floor is at the end of this hall. Pondered the beast, as his full run left the drones in the dust.
He could smell it. Solar's scent was among the smells of fear from all the others who cried in pain from his drones. As soon as he stood before the elevator, he didn't press any buttons, he pried the doors open with his claws and listened to it creak under the force. It wouldn't have been easy to open if he hadn't taken the liquid, but now it was possible, and he peered down the long glass shaft. In the center of it dangled the cable attached to the elevator that he couldn't see.
Growling like an animal, fury burning in his eyes, he was quick to leap down and grasp the cable. His claws scraped along it as he descended and watched the top of the elevator come closer by the second.
From a harsh landing came a heavy thud from his weight, yet it wasn't enough to make him stagger despite landing in a crouch. Slowly he rose, stomped a foot on a hatch in front of him, and fell through.
Like an eager beast, he forced the doors open and saw something that took his breath away. It was a large room full of stasis chambers aligned on the side and many chemical stations opposite them. Slowly he walked and examined the chambers.
What lay inside disgusted him and made him hiss. Children of ages younger than ten, to embryos that floated in liquid, he felt his fury burn far hotter than it ever had before. I am not as low as to use children as lab rats! However, despite his internal hellfire, he saw a glass double door that led into a different room.
He's in there... I can smell his putrid scent. Slow steps brought him past the chambers and several feet in front of the door. From where he stood, he could see machinery and Chromium bodies hung by claw hands and various workstations beyond that. His head tilted dangerously low, a hunger within him demanding blood to be shed like no other.
But what snapped him out of his predatory instincts was Amelia's voice. "Mesogog! Beasty!" From his name to his nickname, his golden eyes moved to the distant elevator and saw the redhead climb down like it was a rope. Clad in just her long lab coat that was thankfully buttoned up in the front, he couldn't help but snarl.
"Why are you here? I am the one to put an end to his miserable, pathetic life!" He wanted to do it. He wanted to let his primal instincts take control to protect what was his.
"I... I want to be of some help and..." As she walked closer and saw the many chambers full of liquid and innocent children, she stopped. Her blue hues scanned over each chamber from ten-year-olds to embryos that hadn't taken form yet. "This..." She began and didn't stop tears from falling when she recalled what Ace had said. Creating her to be his database, she could only imagine why he made these children. "This is how I was..." She couldn't bring herself to so much as mention it and Mesogog could tell, by the devastated look in her eyes.
Slow steps brought the beast closer to her and leaned over to see her face full of disbelief, it didn't help his anger when her breaths became shaky. "B- Beasty..." From disbelief to seriousness, Amelia looked up at his six-foot and two-inch height with fire behind those bright sapphires. "Let's destroy this entire part of the lab. Destroy everything! I don't want a single chemical chamber and Cyborg part left unscathed! I'm sick of him!" Tears flicked from her face when she turned, pulled out a Plasma pistol, and blew holes through the embryos that hadn't taken form yet; the chamber's liquid leaked onto the floor from the gaping hole.
"Yes!" It was his turn. Mesogog hissed, ran to a chamber with another embryo, and pushed it over. It was satisfying to see it crash and shatter on the ground. He and Amelia destroyed each chamber, save for the ones with the children in it, and obliterated the chemistry stations opposite them.
The room was soon a chemical mess when they finished, and ran to the door Solar hid behind. Mesogog wasted no time, for he lifted a foot and kicked the glass on the door until it shattered from its frame. His shoes crunched when he stomped through and went into a full sprint into the center of the room, to which Amelia and his Tyrannodrones followed.
"Spread out! Destroy the Cyborgs! Amelia, assist them and make sure not a single Cyborg activates!" Demanded the beast, as he continued to race past many tables littered with Chromium pieces and containers with brains inside.
"You don't have to tell me twice," The redhead quickly followed the drones and blasted holes into each of the Cyborgs' heads to ensure no activation. As she did so, the drones used their power and strength to rip apart the construction machines that created the Chromium pieces.

Mesogog busted down another door and saw a large room with a glass ceiling that had a holographic sky. The stars and moon would've been convincing if they didn't have a repetitive pattern. Nonetheless, he saw steel railings around many seats that someone would see at a stadium, and the tall white walls kept them distant from the large arena.
"Welcome! To my testing grounds!" Solar's voice bounced off the walls in the incredibly large room and looked to the side to see the man. He wore his usual soldier attire and the trench coat, but he could tell something was different about him. "Hahaha! Now we will see who the real beast is. Thanks to my Database's DNA, I was able to implement some of it into me and use it as my trump card!" With a disgusting grin on his porcelain face, he saw him take a needle out and wave it in the air.
"I'm tired of you ruining everything! First, you steal my Database-- then you destroy my Cyborgs, and now this ambush!" Fumed the mad scientist, for he rolled his sleeve up and stuck the needle into the crease of his arm.
"Get down here so I can tear you apart!" Through fits of growls and hisses, he took a stance to prepare whatever Solar had planned for him. "You are a disgrace as a Scientist!" He added, but soon became a bit nervous when he watched Ace fall behind the railings and jerk about as Amelia would after taking in DNA.

(It's the final battle song! :D)
He could barely catch a glimpse, but he saw a long, white raptor tail and black claws past the rails. When he saw Ace stand up, changes began to occur.
He resembled an albino male version of Amelia's raptor hybrid form. His scales were a pale white, and he had the face, tail, and feet of a raptor, with black claws scraping along the steel rails. Suddenly, a harsh screech erupted from the hybrid as Mesogog prepared himself, watching as the creature leaped after him.
The beast hissed loudly enough to be heard across the room before Ace tackled him. The force behind it sent them both tumbling across the floor, but Mesogog managed to stop them and use his feet to lift the transformed scientist. He had to grasp those deadly hands to avoid being flayed before he used his monstrous strength to kick him incredibly far.
As soon as he sat up, he sprinted after Solar who he saw roll back onto his feet and do the same. Heavy muscle against muscle, smacked hard when he and Ace collided and tried to overpower the other. "No more holding back! I will show you what a beast is meant to do!" Through monstrous growls, the dino man spoke and grappled Solar.
The mad scientist quickly grabbed the beast by his foot with his tail and dragged him across the room. Bloodlust was in the air, they both wanted to rip each other apart.
Mesogog was violently thrown into the pale walls of the arena, causing chunks to crumble upon impact. Solar's fierce screech echoed, which made Meso rise to the challenge, burst through the broken wall, and leap into action.
It was his turn to tackle. He rolled about and wrestled with Ace, and when he managed to get on top, he was relentless with the punches. Over and over, each fist to Ace's maw left a sick crunch and made cracks form in the ground from the force. Solar had other plans, his albino tail wrapped around the beast's neck and strangled him to make an opening.
However, he shrieked in pain when Mesogog bit down, drew blood, and ripped a chunk from his tail. "All I need is five minutes! After that, I'm going to enjoy tearing your limbs off one by one!" The dino man was quick to lift his forearms to reduce the impact from Solar when he tried to kick at his chest.
When Mesogog came to a slow halt and skidded on his back, he rolled to the side after he saw Solar leap and attempt to stomp him. The beast swept his leg out and kicked his feet from under him, making the mad scientist fall with a hard thud. To his tattered super soldier suit, his claws grabbed Ace's front and brought his face close to his. Not another word was spared, for a telepathic wave came from him and sent pain into Solar's mind.
The hisses and shakes as the mad scientist tried to escape it, revealed his agony more clearly. There was a glint of delight in Mesogog's eyes when he watched him writhe in pain, but that wasn't enough to sate his bloodlust; he wanted to see his corpse on the ground covered in crimson.
What surprised him was when Solar briefly ignored the pain and delivered a round-house kick to his head. It was strong enough to make the beast fly across the room and into a wall, close to the door he pried open.
Mesogog shook his head to push past the slight dizzy spell and when he did, he had to catch a pair of black claws to keep from getting crushed into the wall. He used that chance to clamp his sharp teeth onto Solar's wrist and tore it from its joint.
The nasty screech from Ace as he backed away and held his torn wrist was a little more satisfying to Mesogog. Red covered his white scales, but fury reflected in Solar's prehistoric slits that were difficult to see, in the shadow under his brows.
With that, he lunged at the dino man, used his feet, and tried to kick at him. "You failed to realize one important detail about me!" He spun around to avoid tripping and grabbed his arm with his sharp talons. "I know hand-to-hand combat, where you do not! Your feeble attempts to attack me have proven useless so far! You are weak!" With that, he ripped the arm with the torn wrist, off and made crimson splatter the floor.
(The song ends here :D!)
Ace roared in pain and crawled with one hand across the floor. However, time was up, and Solar was gradually reverting. It didn't take long for him to return to his human form, accompanied by a colorful array of curses. This included F-bombs and many unique words for excrement.
As Ace struggled to stand, Mesogog slowly walked around him like a predator to prey and enjoyed every bit of the man's cries of pain. That was, until, the mad scientist began to let out insane laughter and clench where his arm was missing.
"Hahahaha!" Turning around, blood painted his pearly whites as he smiled and used his capable hand to flip him off. "Do you really think that's all I got? Just because you rip off my arm doesn't mean I'm--" Before he could say much else, a plasma shot blasted his hand from his wrist and caught him by surprise. "Aaaaah!" Again, unique words flew from his lips when he leaned and held his wound close to his chest.
"My Beasty's Tyrannodrones and I have already destroyed all your Cyborgs and machinery. You're dead, Solar." When Mesogog and Ace looked at the redhead, for once, they saw a cold stare in her eyes. No care, no playfulness, no love, or excitement. Nothing but an ice-cold glare was given to the mad scientist.
"W- What? Pft-- Hahahaha!" Ace's laughter went from high to deep, which indicated the amount of sanity he had left. "I'm dead? I'm dead?! Hahaha!" What he thought was funny, was quickly replaced with more pain and screams when Amelia blasted his knee and left him with one leg. He couldn't stand while he writhed in agony, for he fell over and arched his back.
"Tear him apart, Mesogog. And please, make sure you take his head so you can show it off to everyone outside," Amelia lowered her pistol, causing Mesogog to shift his attention from her to Ace, who began to crawl away in fear.
"With pleasure," There was a desire in his growl when he strode closer to the scientist and rolled his eyes at the smell of fear when it filled his nose.
When Mesogog stood before Ace, he was enjoying himself, for he was quick to snap his ankle, rip it off, and slowly work his way up the man's leg. Blood painted the floor as severed bones and chunks of flesh were torn from his body.
So far, it was a blood bath, for crimson pooled around Ace as pain and terror filled his dark eyes. "This is what happens to those... Who takes and hurts what belongs to me.~" Close to his face, with the grip of his jawline, he growled hungrily and ripped his jaw clean from its joints. It was a slow process but the beast wanted to give Solar a sluggish, painful death, giving him what he deserved.
Now he couldn't scream. The cold air on his burning wounds and the leaking blood only added to the fear he felt when he was being shredded by a true beast. A predator, a dinosaur, a real monster who took pleasure in tearing apart his prey.
Dr. Ray had already left before Mesogog started, so she didn't see the carnage in the room.

Amelia stepped out of the front doors and fell to her knees, ignoring Elsa who gave her a questionable stare. Silence was the only thing around them, save for the murmurs of the dinosaur army, the crickets, and the soft rustle of the leaves.
"He's finally gone. That monster is finally gone," Pure relief and a sense of freedom washed over the redhead's heart. "No more torture. No more chases... No more death, blood, no more... I'm free," Warm tears streamed down her cheeks as her body began to shake and her head lowered. Faint hicks gradually became louder, so she lifted a hand to cover her mouth and closed her eyes.
Elsa remained still, indifferent to the need for sympathy. She understood that Amelia required this moment. She allowed the redhead to cry, tears of relief streaming down her face. Amelia's sobs were relentless; the more she cried, the more she leaned over, letting her hair fall past her face. "I'm f-f-free," she managed to say, muffled by her hand. Tears drenched her cheeks, and her throat tightened as she spoke.
"Yes. And what of lord Mesogog? How come he hasn't returned yet? Where is--" Elsa stopped when she saw the beast covered in blood walk out of the main entrance and crouch next to his woman's side. Solar's head was tightly gripped in one of his claws by black strands, as his other hand was used to brush Amelia's red locks away from her face.
The sight of her tears and her smile as she looked at him made his breath hitch for a moment. There was love in those pools of blue, along with relief and joy. "He is gone and I have proof. Now no one will be able to take you from me!" The back of his red claw gently caressed her tan cheek as he growled with delight when she planted a soft kiss on it.
"Thank you... Beasty. Thank you. I love you.~" The last three words took his breath away, that much was obvious, especially when she reached up and gave him another kiss to the front of his maw.
His eyes wandered aimlessly as his heart fluttered, a nervous habit that only Amelia recognized, as he stood up. A moment of silence was needed to compose himself before he lifted his head and listened to the victory cries of his prehistoric army.

In Gruumm's ship, the bony Emperor stood and laughed. Several claps of his hands resonated throughout the room, along with Morgana.
"Oh, goody! That was fun! Not bad for a beginner, right Emperor?" The childish woman smirked at the evil Emperor, who in turn faced her and nodded.
"Yes. Not bad, at all. Now that Solar is no longer a threat and he got exactly... What he deserved. I want to meet with them before we part," With that, Gruumm grabbed his staff from the side of his seat and began his way out of the room.
"I wish to accompany you, Emperor. If that is alright," Broodwing watched the bony alien step past and didn't say a word, so he took that as a go-ahead and followed behind him.
Moments later, as they appeared on the battlefield, they saw numerous dinosaurs, and Mesogog carelessly tossed Solar's head aside. The thud it made went ignored when Gruumm approached. "Fascinating! Look at what you've done with just a small army and a walking weapon of destruction!" With his free hand outstretched to the side and his chin lifted, everyone else looked at them curiously. "The creator-- defeated by his own creation! It's almost poetic. But then again, the Beast there... Mesogog, correct?" With that, his hand lowered and the beast tilted his head aggressively.
Mesogog was still riding the adrenaline, so any threat from Gruumm was likely to trigger him again. "Yes," he answered with a short exhale, stepping protectively in front of Amelia and placing his arms behind his back.
"Judging by the blood on your outfit-- you were the one who ended him. Had it been Dr. Ray, it would've been more poetic.~" The Emperor chuckled, looked at her, and made slow strides toward the two.
"Yes. But she wanted me to tear him apart... Which is not something she can do, unless she transforms," Calm and collected, despite the adrenaline, he maintained his composure and closely monitored every move he made.
"Ah-- yes. About that. I would offer her a spot in my Empire, but that would've been risky. She is powerful and her mind could be of use to us! Ha, and... She is... Cute," The sudden cock of his head was directed toward a visibly confused redhead, who inched closer to Mesogog's backside.
"She is... And she's mine! I will not let you have her!" Hissing, his protectiveness shone when he unfolded his arms and spread them out to prevent potential advancements from the Emperor.
However, the bony alien laughed so hard that he had to clutch his stomach. Morgana joined him, and their fit of laughter continued for quite a while. "You can have her. I had no intimate interest in her... she's just cute, that's all," he said, still chuckling after such a hearty laugh. Eventually, the laughter subsided. "I have to admit... that was the best entertainment I've had in a long time. Now... let's be off! I have a planet to conquer." As Gruumm turned on his heel and walked away, Broodwing stepped forward, fixing a keen stare on the redhead.
"Dr. Amelia Ray. I would like to trade with you. Information on your robot in exchange for anything you desire. Crybots, particular devices, material, robotic parts, specific chemicals..." The Batman waited for a moment, hoping Amelia would agree, but what followed was unexpected.
"I can't give you information on A.O.D, but-- I can offer you three of my Rejuvenation liquids to trade! I would love it if I could have some of your DNA in exchange! I want to study it, to see how your biology works, and--" She spoke a bit too fast as she tried to step past Mesogog, but his arm got in her way and kept her from doing so. "Beasty, pleeeeaaase? Pretty please with a dino bone on top?~ I just want to study Broodwing's DNA! The genetic makeup, the alien coding in his DNA stream!" Her hands gripped under his bicep and snuggled his arm close. There it was, her boundless energy returned to her face and loosened up the tense air around them.
"I... I wouldn't mind that... I guess. As long as you don't do anything strange to me. With that liquid, I could have another scientist recreate it in bulk and I could sell them." The Batman approved and withdrew his arm from the cloak that surrounded him.
"As long as she refrains from touching you--" Mesogog looked to Amelia with a warning glare and brought his gaze back to the bat. "Then she may. After this, we need to return to my Fortress so I can continue with my plans." Finally, his mind was back on track, now that Solar and Amelia's safety no longer plagued his mind.
"Yay! Hahahaha! I can already imagine the complexities of his genetic coding!" Her joyous and insane laughter filled the air when she jogged up to Broodwing and pulled out a needle.
"Master. Are you sure it's wise to let her? She did make Stevie after she took your blood and extracted dinosaur DNA from you," Elsa who stepped close to Mesogog's other side, folded her arms with a knit of her brows.
"If she makes something incredible out of that creature's DNA... So be it. I want to see," There was almost childlike curiosity when he answered the goth, for he and Elsa watched the redhead extract blood from the bat and stow it into her coat.
"Thank you, thank yooouu!~ Aaannnd here you are!" Out of her buttoned-up lab coat, came three vials of healing liquid that the bat eagerly took.
"I appreciate your cooperation. In the future, I wish to make more trades. However... I need to head back, otherwise, Emperor Gruumm will leave me stranded in your world," With that, he turned and accompanied Gruumm who was about to leave.
"Good luck with whatever it is you're doing! I'd suggest improving your Crybot's defenses so they won't receive as much damage!" From a thumbs-up and a toothy grin, she encouraged.
When Broodwing turned slightly and noticed her bright, enthusiastic aura, he was momentarily taken aback. However, he hesitantly returned a thumbs-up before he and Gruumm vanished. It wasn't long before the dark ship that loomed over the island took flight, leaving the planet's atmosphere.
