Chapter 2: Chemic Bomb.
"Just one... Little... Drop... Aaaaaand--" Amelia slowly and carefully let a little drop of the purple chemical into a tube of red liquid. Her grin broadened when the color started to change, until, the entire tube exploded and covered her face in black. Blinking, the impact was enough to make her glasses tilt crooked, but she still didn't react other than a frown on her lips.
"Hahaha! Now that one... Was a classic," The gothic woman behind her went into a fit of laughter upon the results of her experiment, regardless, her outburst didn't phase the crazy scientist.
Amelia couldn't see the large grin on her lips or her folded arms, or Mesogog who stepped closer to look around her to examine her expression.
"Wohooo! That's actually what I was wanting!" Her arms lifted high above her head, almost spilled the purple liquid in the other tube, and nearly missed the dino man's face if he hadn't leaned back. "I need to create a chemical reacting bomb just in case things get a little dicey if they arrive! This is perfect!" Her exclamation left the gothic woman behind her speechless but scoffed at her words nonetheless. With skill behind her wrist, she somehow managed to flick the purple tube she had back into its holder and sprinted to the other side of the room, to the glass container she worked on yesterday.
"How long have you been working in here? It's morning," The woman in black cleared her throat and questioned the insane redhead, who crouched to bring her face close to the container.
"Aaalllll night! It's okay, though! I've pulled all-nighters before and even had sleep deprivation for a week! If I spend even one second to chill-- no progress will be made and Solar will be on my case before I've gotten anything prepared!" A bit too fast, she spoke without so much as a glance at the other woman and giggled. "Yay! Woot-woot! Look at this! My Franken Baby's growin'! Look at that adorable little embryo floating in the middle! It's so cuuuute!~" Her bare feet wiggled excitedly at the sight of something super tiny in the center of the container and squealed.
Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Hold on! If I can have a tiny bit of Mesgog's blood-- just a drop, I could put it into my lil Franken Baby to make it more prehistoric! Internally she gushed at the idea and jumped up from her spot, with a squeal that caught everyone off guard. "Mesogog!" Quickly she whipped around, donning the craziest expression they'd seen on her yet, and filled the room with stifled giggles.
Her blue eyes watched the dino man's head barely lift to show he had her attention, and from there, her finger pointed. "I-- need a teeny-weeny, little drop of your blood to promote the growth of my Franken Baby! So it'll be the most deadlaaaay of all! Yes! Hahahahaha! Prehistoric DNA combined with a Manx with an ability that allows it to literally bite heads off of people and rip out their innards-- will make the feline much harder to kill! Since you have a nice hide, I mean-- thick skin about you, it'll help my Franken Baby surviiiiive!" Her fist pumped into the air after her lengthy explanation and froze, for she waited for Mesogog to answer her despite the minutes that passed.
"Did you just say..." The dark woman looked her up and down questionably, next to her master. Of course, the tilt of Mesogog's and Zeltrax's heads went unnoticed when she ran along the other tables in search of something to extract his blood with.
"You heard nothing! I said, nothin'!~" Back and forth she searched, however, she stopped when there wasn't a needle to be found. Her face burned red at her little mistake and tried to keep her crimson cheeks from being seen, as she roamed about.
"M- My lord... Do you realize what she just said?" The dark woman tried not to laugh, for she held it in the best she could and peeked at her Master, who strangely seemed intrigued by her behavior.
"Hah... Hide. As in his--" Zeltrax shook his head as he stepped closer to Mesogog's other side and folded his arms, not an ounce of care to finish his sentence. Amelia wasn't paying them any mind so she didn't get to hear their conversation or what they did.
"I'm aware what she was referring to... Elsa," Through raspy words, came an annoyed growl, until he slowly made his way toward her frantic search. Unbeknownst to the redhead, of course, he stood behind her and leaned over her shoulder.
"I found one!" Close to her face, blue eyes examined a dangerously long needle that would be anyone's nightmare who was afraid of them. Then and there, Amelia spun around just to come face to chest and jump back. Her loud squeak of surprise made Zeltrax laugh in the back and Elsa looked away to cover her mouth.
"I did not give you permission," She saw it, the claws he kept behind his back were a little noticeable when they twitched and flexed.
"Aaaaand-- I'm still waiting for it!~" The amount of intimidation Mesogog tried to instill, flew past her head as if she were completely naïve or stupid. Because of the information she had on him, she didn't care and didn't see a reason to be afraid of him unless he chose to try and kill her.
From his mouth came a hiss and a growl, after he used his power to attack her mind. "I wasn't going to give it to you!" Furiously roared the beast, who pushed and pushed toward her with his power, as his claw reached close to her head. However, there was no grunting or pain on her face, Amelia's giggles left him completely confused after a minute of trying to hurt her.
"Hehehehehe!~ Quit! That tickles!" Tan hands gripped her head and lowered it, the tingly sensations on her brain gave her fuzzy feelings, and couldn't help her giggle fit. Dumbfounded he was once he stopped, for she watched his golden eyes look her up and down. "That brings a whole new meaning to tickled my brain!" Finally, after what felt like another minute, the giggles calmed down enough for her to notice his expression and frown.
She gasped when he suddenly grabbed her face and did the same thing to her, she did to him when she examined his features before. "What are you? No human or mind is capable of withstanding my telepathic power!" Close to her face, he roared, to which she blinked and tried not to smile at her squished cheeks in his dinosaur palms. "My power should have sent waves of intense pain! Pressure, that no one can handle!" Again, he yelled and growled at the confusion on her face.
"But, but-- I always had to deal with peer pressure and employees yelling at me. They make my brain hurt just being around them.~" Again, laughter came out and felt relief on her cheeks when he let go to walk away.
"Elsa," Blue eyes watched his shady figure make his way toward the gothic woman, who she saw standing near a wall of chemistry tubes and holding some tweezers. She must have wandered over there to do something while Mesogog and her had a moment there, not even Zeltrax was around. "I have a project in mind," His raspy, ominous words, made the redhead perk up and blink.
"I'm sure it's utterly gruesome," The back of Elsa's head was seen looking at the dino man, which Ray noticed. They weren't aware of the redhead sneaking up behind them with the biggest grin on her face.
"Only if you think... Sucking the life out of a miserable human being is gruesome," Mesogog answered, for he and Dr. Ray heard the dark woman respond with a short laugh.
"Oh! You mean like a Vampire.~ I like my idea more. Heads bitten off and guts pulled out-- blood everywhere! That's more gruesome. Of course-- all for the sake of collecting samples better!" Grinning from cheek to cheek, she watched Elsa chuckle at her words and her odd silly behavior.
"If you'd rather make a mess of things, then so be it. But you will clean everything up," This time it was Mesogog's turn to speak, for he turned to face her and leaned close to her face. There was a bit of hesitance when he saw her stare expectantly and adjust her round glasses.
"Does that mean you'll let me have that tiny drop of blood?~" Her gaze followed him when he walked away, with his hands against his back, and saw his steps pause. Nonetheless, he continued toward the table she left the needle at and picked it up. Her bare feet, which were covered in pantyhose, jogged to catch up to him and peeked around his shoulder. She watched him pull up his sleeve, revealing a nicely defined forearm attached to his claws and sank the needle into the crease of it. "Yay!~" Her excitement over it made her clap, overjoyed at the thought of her Franken Baby surviving in battle with his prehistoric DNA.
When he was done, she nearly fumbled backward after he turned around and handed her the tiny tube of it. "Whoa, this is more than I could've asked for! Thanks!" Squealing, jumping up and down like a kid who just received candy, she hugged him and quickly ran back to her Embryo.
Amelia wasn't aware of his stiffened posture and his sunken eyes following her. Regardless, he returned to the display of tubes on the wall and picked up a currently filled glass container of green liquid.

She is strange... But has secrets. She slipped when she mentioned what they would do to me. Experiments on me. Humans against me? They would be asking for a death wish. The container Mesogog carried was placed into a machine and with a few buttons, he looked over to watch it.
He could hear Amelia's poor attempt at sneaking up on him, however, her cry of surprise reached his ears, and a loud thud that indicated she slipped and fell. Clumsy. It was so hard not to smirk at her pain when she groaned and whined. Nonetheless, over his shoulder, he peeked and saw the redhead stand up with her hand rubbing her hip.
"Someone put that there on purpose! Wait... No, no, that was me. Hahahaha! The purple liquid from earlier! Whoops!" Her positive response made his smirk fall and growl under his breath.
Golden eyes returned to the machine, for he ignored her and watched a monster step out of it that donned a strange face with large nostrils. "Whoa! Incredible!" It was difficult to focus on his task when she was all over the place, he had to step aside to not get run over by a stampeding woman. "It's so cute! It has bunny ears!~ It looks like a giant rabbit!" Watching her run around the creature, she was examining it like she did to him before and took in every feature that she could.
It was strange to hear such joy over something that was made to be evil, many questions began to pile on top of his mind the longer she stayed around and it irked him; many questions, but no answers.
"Master, how can I serve you?" It asked, to which Mesogog opened his mouth to speak and stepped closer.
"Go. Collect life energy from as many humans are you can then return to me. Don't let anyone get in your way," With a lift of his claw to make a point, he had to quickly move it out of the way when Amelia giggled and jumped in front of the creature.
"Can he serve me too?! I'd really like to have a Bacon Cheese Burger and hot fries! Oh-- and some iced sweet tea! I haven't eaten in two days!" It was easy to tell in his eyes that Dr. Ray was just being silly, for she pretended to act like she was starving to death and reached for his clawed hand that was moved out of the way. "I- I'm starving.~ Bleck-" Very dramatic indeed, she was. He saw her fall to her knees and play dead on the floor next to his feet. There was no care on his face when Elsa laughed and walked away from her stupid act, all he did was move his arms behind his back.
Watching her lay there, taking a step to the side to get away from her, he saw a blue eye peek open and a grin form. "No takers? Not even you?~ You gonna let your pooooor wittle crazy lady starve to deeeath?~" Again she tried, rolled onto her back, and put a hand on her forehead to act as if she was perishing. When he saw her blink her eyes open and pout, his head tilted curiously like an animal that watched something strange move. "What? You like seeing people in pain and misery. I'm just trying to be convincing.~" Straight away to her feet, she hopped up and gave him a salute for no particular reason.
"I can make it more convincing and strangle you on the floor," Closer to her face, he watched her lean back, much to his satisfaction and growled irritably when he didn't see any kind of fearful reaction to his words.
"Oh... My.~ Hehehehe, I didn't know you were into that kind of stuff!" Her giggles and her reply made the situation rather awkward. His golden gaze darted away from her to look at anything else he could and hissed before he walked away.
Annoying, always running about doing something. She hadn't stopped since she arrived and it unnerved him to no end. The creature had long since left to do as it was ordered and his prehistoric self made his way over to a device in a far corner. Why she always had a witty comeback without an ounce of fear, made him question if she had any receptors at all. He didn't quite understand why he'd get nervous every time she'd talk like that, so finding something to distract himself with was the best solution he could come up with.

"Hurry up!" In Amelia's world, Solar's voice raged when he paced back and forth behind some scientists. "She could be designing more and better inventions! Inventions that could benefit my Facility!" He added as veins popped out of his neck from the anger.
"Sir, we figured something out, "Near the entrance of the room, stood another scientist who lifted a disk and waved it about.
"I'll be right there," The man in white didn't waste a second to leave the ever-slowly working employees who were putting the device together on a work table. His black loafers crunched against broken glass along the way and shielded his eyes from the bright sun, that shone through windows to his side. Into a hall, he followed the other and entered Amelia's office which was being investigated. "What is it?" Stern brown eyes bore into hesitant ones when he asked, with a fold of his arms.
"We didn't install this small hatch in the floor. So, if you found the copy of the original blueprint then most likely the discs in here were meant as backup information. We found ripped-up notes stashed away beneath all of the disks and pieced them together. It turns out, that she was planning to go to the worlds that these disks show. Which one out of the many, in here, is still in question," The scientist explained and looked at each silvery disk that had titles, labeled with Power Rangers and their specific generation.
"What are the notes? What did they say?" Curious now, frustrated, stifled laughter left Solar's lips when he facepalmed and groaned.
"It stated how Power Rangers was one of her many childhood series. Something she grew up on and loved," he explained and looked at a few other disks that were spread across the floating desk.
"Maybe one of these Power Rangers series is where she went... Alright. If I were her, where would I go?" Solar mumbled quietly and placed a finger to his chin, only to smirk and snap his fingers upon a conclusion that would take others much longer to come up with. "Ah! To a place where she can get DNA samples the easiest. If I know her right, she most likely selected a location in the world she picked, that's close, if not-- directly next to her goal. And if she's running away, she's most likely going to try and prepare ahead. She's thought ahead countless times and was always the one to make multiple backup plans, if the first one were to fail," Again he pondered, looked to the scientist who rummaged through the disks, and hummed.
"You! Take out every Power Ranger series that's inside that stash and separate the ones that have notable features such as animal traits, to aliens! Most likely she's trying to prepare some defenses. She must already know that I'm working on recreating the device. So if she's making some defenses... What would she resort to, that would be a lot easier to grab?" Again, he hummed and pondered the many possibilities. "She's worked with us for years and from how much I know about her, she's not one to stand idly by and wait for us to appear. She plans ahead, usually doesn't sleep or eat until her tasks are done, she's very calculative despite her crazy behavior, and she's quite the daredevil," The more he pondered, the more he felt like he was getting closer to his answer. When he looked over and read every title that was written on tape, across the silvery disks, he began to scratch off others in his head.
The scientist finished separating them after he found their cases and read the backs of them. Dino Thunder, Jungle Fury, Mystic Force, SPD, Dino Charge, and Operation Overdrive. There were others, but those particular few stuck out to him the most.
"Let's see. Mystic Force, from what I can see, is about Magic. She'd probably go into that world if she wanted to get some DNA samples from a few mythical creatures but I doubt any of them would benefit her goals. SPD has high technology but none of which would have DNA she'd be interested in, other than all of the alien species. All of the aliens would be too much for her to look through to determine which DNA she'd want to try first, so not that one... Not Dino Charge. Operation Overdrive is a maybe, but I doubt she'd want to get her hands dirty in elements and none of their DNA would aid her. Jungle Fury, perhaps, if she were to take DNA samples from the villains there but again, she's careful with her decisions What's left is Dino Thunder... Wait," He mumbled, stared at the back of the case, and saw a Dinosaur man that he swore had prehistoric traits. "This guy here. Yes. I knew it! Defensive preparations-- she'd take samples from him to most likely change her own skin so she can't take damage from our bullets! It all makes sense now!" His palm smacked his forehead at the conclusion and rolled his eyes, the idea of it all was bizarre but what wasn't bizarre with Dr. Ray?
"Clever! She's a genius for a reason!" Quickly, out of the room he ran and returned to the employees who were halfway done with the device. Now he had a world to try out, which he pretty much assumed was the correct place. Considering how simple and quick it'd be to just pop in next to the villain and take a sample. "I'm one step closer... And she's probably already expecting us," Low chuckles escaped after he shook his head and grinned.

She watched it all. The fight she only saw on television in her world, was right on the monitor in Mesogog's lab. She was in awe at seeing the fight in person and the special effects from the battle were mostly from their attacks, which piqued her curiosity. When she watched the creature get destroyed a pout grew on her lips. "Aw, man... And it was adorable too," Once again, her blue eyes blinked, and she didn't notice the dino man's head turn to her over his shoulder. It was only a glance, for he returned his attention to the monitor.
"Raah!" She heard him yell and watched him whip around to the gothic woman. From what she could tell, his low growl was a sign of annoyance. "Activate the Hydro Re-generator!" Slowly, as he turned his head back to the screen, Amelia leaned over to look at his face and hardly cared if her glasses were crooked.
"At once! My lord," Elsa smirked, put her hand on the lever, and they both heard the redhead giggle.
"Puulll the leveeeer!~" Amelia wanted to time it just right, for when Elsa pulled it down, she yelled and raised her arms above her head. They both looked at her strangely, but surprisingly earned a stifled single laugh from the gothic woman who caught on to her joke. It was her turn to cover her mouth and restrain herself from giggling too much, which earned her a growl from the beast and a rough hand to push her away.
"Aren't you supposed to be working on your projects?" His hiss and dangerous glare proved how irritable he was when he fully faced her.
"Yes! Well, no, and yes! Actually-- I just finished one of them! Look!" From her many pockets, came a small sphere covered in blunt spikes. "I call it-- The Chemic Bomb! Ta-daa!" As if she was presenting a grand prize to Mesogog, her eyes glinted with life and energy. Regardless of her attempt to impress, she continued to explain. "Thanks to the chemicals I was working on before-- I prepared a small sphere to pour it in and used some screws to give it a little more power! When the sphere explodes, the screws will be covered in the same liquid and it'll make more explosions, most likely killing people if anyone got caught by them!" Squealing like a fangirl over an idol, she almost drooled at her invention and began to wiggle her feet from excitement.
"How do you know it'll work?" Elsa chimed in, rather curious about the new invention, and took a closer look at the sphere in the redhead's palm.
"I know it will! It's obvious it will! It's like a grenade only better! Wanna see?!" Hopping up and down, turning around, she was about to chuck it across the room when a clawed hand kept her from doing it. Over her shoulder, she peeked at the dino man and felt the sphere get ripped from her grasp. "Careful! If you break off one of the spikes then it has less than three seconds until it detonates!" For once she panicked and put both of her hands on her head. The idea of someone accidentally making it go off point-blank, made her almost want to take it from his claws.
"This is too dangerous to have in my lab. But this should prove useful... Should the time come when I'll need it," Without so much looking at her, he carefully moved his claws back to her and she didn't waste a second to take it.
"Fwew! Okay! Also-- I put your blood into the container with my Franken Baby in it, and it's grown so much already!" Squealing, her bare feet patted across the floor, and ignored the battle on the monitor that was won by the Rangers. I cannot intervene with the Ranger's battles while I'm here! If I can just get some things prepared to help protect me from the soldiers, when they arrive, I can calculate and plan from there! Pondering, racing over to the container, she crouched down and stared longingly as if it were a TV dinner in a microwave.
"By the way! There is a 56% chance that you'd ever need my Chemic Bomb. Since you have those drones, you'd most likely use them instead and send your two helpers to do the dirty work for you.~ Unless!" She paused for a moment with a lift of her finger and kept her eyes glued to the container, there wasn't a moment where she would glance at him. "The Ace Solar Facility's soldiers use their energy weapons or stun grenades to knock everyone unconscious!" Beaming with joy, she stood up and came face to chest with Mesogog, who kept his hands behind his back.
"And you believe they are capable? Humans... Being able to render my drones unconscious?" His curiosity was piqued, if she was listing off weaknesses then he would want to fix them.
"Yes! Yes, indeed! They're drones, but still living and breathing things! The Stun Grenades will have enough firepower behind them and most likely shock their brains until they pass out!~ Their Energy weapons, made by-- muah-- will be able to spray lasers the shape of bullets straight through solid steel and if they set their guns to safety-mode, they'll only send out paralysis shots!" Left and right, she pretended to shoot with finger guns and pointed them both at Mesogog's chest with playful fire.
"Then tell me... If they can shoot through steel, what is the reason for having my DNA in that creature you are making? The hide it will have will be less dense than Steel," Closer to her face, which she blinked at, he questioned and tilted his head.
Her bright smile never faded and seeing that pretty red spot above his eyes made her want to pet him. It was tempting, so she did and used a hand to cutely pet the middle where his forehead would be. It was just for a moment, but there was a subtly in his movement when his head instinctively leaned into her hand. It happened too quickly for her to notice, though, and continued after her hand lowered.
"Meso, Meso-- Meso.~ Do you really think I hadn't thought that through?!~ I increased its density! If I can get its density to be tougher than Steel then I can inject you with the same chemical to enhance your hide! Hahahaha!" Quickly back to her Franken Baby, she grabbed the small tube of his blood and poured two more drops into it. Not like he'd need it, of course! Since he survived the explosion of his lab before! Hehehehe... He has a niiiceee hide.~ Giggling to herself, she closed the tube and watched the Embryo begin to pulse and expand by inches. "See?! See?! It's already starting to take up a form!" Almost like a bunny, with her knees together and crouched, she hopped with excitement.
"Lord... Mesogog. Are you certain she is worth keeping?" Amelia heard her ask but cared not to look and was fixated on the slow growth of the creature.
He didn't answer, unbeknownst to the redhead, he was deep in thought when he stared at the creature from behind her and peeked at her crouched form. When he didn't say anything after about a minute, the gothic woman gradually stepped away and left the room. Where she went, no one would ever know.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" Dr. Ray immediately stood up and whirled around to see the prehistoric man patiently staring. "Do you have any spare parts for robotics and weaponry?!" With a single clap, her hands stayed together and her vibrant energy shone through her eyes.
"Yes," Simply he stated and waited for her to continue.
"May I use them?! I need quite a few parts for this idea I have! I want to make Plasma Dual Pistols! Since I'm a horrible shot, I'll have to make the mouth of the pistol wide around, so my shots can be large enough to hit my targets!" Into the air, a tan fist went and kept her grin present.
"How would you provide the fuel or the means to make the rounds?" His golden gaze bore into her ecstatic blue ones when he asked and shifted his feet.
"Simple! My blood! Blood is consistent and endless, since the heart pumps and creates new blood all the time!~ Plasma is the liquid portion of blood, making up about 55% of blood volume. The remaining 45% is made up of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, which are suspended in plasma. It's about 92% water, with the remaining 10% made up of dissolved substances, primarily proteins!" As if it were grade school knowledge to her, she explained without a single bat of her eyes and spoke a bit too fast.
"Very well. I will have my Drones bring them to you," To say he was curious would be an understatement. He was fascinated by her idea. Using blood as fuel to provide shots, instead of materials of other kinds that could be wasted or consumed upon use. It could reduce resources quicker if it wasn't blood.
"Yay!" Amelia happily clapped, watched him walk away and giggled. She didn't get to see the slight movement of his prehistoric mouth, a small indication of smirk.
