Chapter 19: The truth of it all...

"Stevie... Why does Solar have to be this way?" Tan fingers stroked gently between the red spots on her baby's forehead, she listened to its odd purr and watched its eyes flutter closed in content. His large paws were neatly crossed over each other over her legs as he rested on his belly and coiled his tail around one of her calves, protectively. "Using the brains from test subjects to make the Cyborg frames function... To torture people for sheer scientific curiosities. Children are victims too but luckily he doesn't use them as often as he does adults," Sighing, frowning, she felt depression tug on her heart and cloud her usually bright eyes. Silence befell them both for a moment, it gave her some time to breathe and soak in the new information about what he's done behind her back.

However, when Mesogog came to mind, a stray tear trickled down her cheeks, and a sad smile replaced the frown she had. "Stevie? Do you think Mesogog will figure it out? Loneliness can be a burden, but it can also be freedom... If you're bound by chains against a wall and surrounded by those who hate you, you feel alone and rejected... But you're also alone when you're free from those chains because you soon find out that no one's like you. Free to go about your business and be yourself, but there's always a void in your heart that won't be filled," As she spoke, she gently rubbed his Doberman-like ears between her thumb and index finger, and let a moment's pause ensue.

"If I were in his shoes... I'd feel very sad. Alone, because no one's like me, no one talks, or thinks as I do. No one looks like me, and seeing that I'm the only one looking the way I do and knowing the one I came out of-- wants to help humans instead of me... I can imagine how painful it must have felt for him. Sad, alone, rejected, and finding out you're an experiment gone wrong... I think just about anyone would feel the same as he does now. All of those feelings would eventually create hatred over humanity and give him a reason to want to make the earth go back to the age of dinosaurs. Deep down... I think-- he doesn't want to be alone. He wants to be accepted, wanted, needed, and feel like he belongs. He and I... Are similar to one another. Because that's what I always wanted too," In almost a whisper, Amelia spoke, and felt more warm tears trail down her chin onto the hand she used to pet Stevie. A thick gulp was difficult to swallow when she could feel her throat tighten, the need to cry was too strong and forced more tears out.

"He doesn't know this, but... That's one of the many reasons why I said I could relate to him. I can feel his pain. I grew up binge-watching this world's series on TV when I was small and continued to watch it as I grew up. I still can't believe I have the hots for him even as an adult... You'd think I would've grown out of it by now. But I guess... A piece of me just wanted to find someone to personally connect to and I guess that's when I fell in love with him. He's handsome, his skin is so pretty with the red spot on his head, and those cool red claws. His intense stare makes me flustered, his voice is like an ice-cold drink, and when he's angry, well... I don't think I'll tell you about that part... Hahaha.~" chuckles escaped when her eyes closed, she wasn't aware of the dino man who lingered near the doorway, for she was too fixated on talking to Stevie to notice him eavesdropping.

"I love his dedication. How determined he is to reach his goals. He shows strength and dominance when he walks into a room, but I know that's mostly just a facade to hide how he feels. I bet you anything, when he's alone and sitting on his throne, he's cursing the world and thinking about how to approach his next plans. Even knowing that no one else is like him, he still pushes through and gives himself a reason to move forward," Another giggle escaped when she leaned down to nuzzle her head on top of her baby's.

"He's been acting differently toward me lately, though. There's no way he likes me... There's no way. Because-- I know, no one would ever want to be with a freak like me. Scars all over me, messy hair that's hard to tame every day, glasses, transforms, and I'm crazy on top of it all... I'm just happy he's put up with me so far and hasn't pushed me away, like everyone else has," Her voice cracked when she spoke the last bit and more tears silently strayed from her cheeks onto Stevie's head. She was thankful that her hair made for a good curtain to hide her red eyes, her glasses were soon removed to not drench them with tears and ruin the films.

"I looked up to him a lot because of this. I'm not strong... But I try to be. I try to shove everything negative down and swallow it, so I won't show weakness. Staying positive and wiping away how I really feel, off of my face, is the only option I have. I can't let others drag me down," Momentary silence befell the room when faint sobs accompanied Stevie's gentle, strange, prehistoric purrs.

When her head lifted, she took a deep breath and slapped her cheeks to snap herself out of it. An attempt to wipe away the pain she was feeling and it partially worked, since she let out the breath she held with a forced smile. "Alright. Stevie, today-- I'm going to need something from Gruumm. I have a theory and I wanted to see if I can get my hands on the orb he has in his ax staff! He used his staff to force Mora to grow into an adult, so I wonder, if I can somehow replicate the orb and create a device that will force growth onto the artificial dinosaurs I plan to make in the future-- I'll be able to create my own army! Dinosaurs are said to have hides that even lasers have trouble puncturing. Ah... Right. Speaking of which! I almost forgot! The potion I made to thicken Mesogog's hide! I wonder if I should alter it and make it permanently increase his physical strength too," With a finger to her lips, she returned to her usual self and pondered for the longest time.

"Why have you not given it to me, yet?" Raspy words next to her made her squeak and almost jump from the floor if Stevie's weight didn't hold her down. When she looked up, she saw him roll the bike to a wall and prop it up by its stand.

"Because! It's still being worked on! Then again, if I test it out now, it could help me figure out what about it-- needs work.~ I can't trust it yet, I'm not certain what it will do to you since the chemicals also affect growth in some way. The growth part is what will make your skin grow and thicken!" As she explained with a clap of her hands, she watched him turn to her, stalk towards her with his arms clasped behind him, and glare daggers. She stood up once Stevie removed himself from her lap.

The proximity between them was closed when he leaned and used an arm to fish around in her coat. "Hey-- hey! Personal space! I said I can't trust it yet! I don't want to risk--" When he yanked a tube out from her pocket that was labeled with Thick Skin Sample, his confused but silent stare toward her made her giggle.

"If it still needs to be worked on then you need to run tests to find out what it needs," The barely green liquid inside the tube, jiggled when he lifted it and took the lid off.

Oh no, no, no, no, no! If he drinks that-- the possible side effects could be drastic! She couldn't stop her inner panic or the beads of nervous sweat that trickled down her cheek; it could be just the warmth in the robotics room.

Amelia decided to sit back and watch to see what would happen. So when he tipped the tube and craned his head back to drink it, the container was given back to her. Now staring at each other, quietly, for roughly twenty seconds or so, the silence soon broke when he started to shrink and change. Smaller and smaller, stubbier, cuter, she watched him stop at three feet tall and stare up at her like she was the most annoying pest in the world.

Her eyes were as wide as softballs, the sight before her was shocking as is and her gaping mouth was enough proof. When she heard him growl, lower his much smaller head, and give her his intense glare, she couldn't contain herself. "Don't you da-" Mesogog was quickly overrun by her squeals and giggles.

"You're so cuuuuute!" Screaming, giggling, with both hands on her crimson cheeks, her hopping said it all. "It's a baby Mesogoooog!" Quickly, around his torso, she picked him up like a mother would with their child, and snuggled him close to her chest. "This has to be the best mistake I've ever made!" It was hard not to gush over the grumpy-looking beast, who was currently being suffocated by her tight hold and chest. In place, she spun, as mad giggles continued to fill the room.

After she stopped, the redhead brought him to her eye level and held him up like he was a pet or a baby. "You're the cutest evil baby Mesogog! Yes, you are! Oh-- yes, you are! Whose gonna rule over dinosaurs one day?!~ You!" The baby talk fell from her lips when she wiggled him gently above her and stared into his currently infuriated golden hues.

"You are going to pay for this," His words surprised her, if her movements and speech stopping didn't mean anything. Especially her eyes that lit up from his still raspy and deep voice.

"Oh-- hehehehe, whoops! I thought, since you shrunk, you'd have a baby's mindset too! Hahahaha! Oh well! I might as well enjoy this while I can!" Giggling once more and into her embrace, she snuggled him again with her face rubbing against his hard cheek. "This is too cute to pass up! Besides-- I did warn you, that I didn't trust it yet! You can't come after me for making a decision all on your own.~" She was so elated to snuggle her Beasty and walk around with him in her arms. It was fun to carry him like a child, save for his poor attempts to swipe at her face with his claws.

However, when she heard the doors to the room open, Amelia quickly turned around to face a table she was near and pretended to be busy despite Mesogog tight in her embrace.

"What's all of the screaming about?" Zeltrax was whom she heard. It was enough to make her stiffen for a second, nonetheless, she swayed her head from side to side and pretended to be busy.

"Oooh, nothing!~ I just made a little discovery! That's all!" Giggling at the so-called discovery, a peek at the beast in her hold allowed her a moment to see the nasty glare Mesogog gave her, which she playfully smiled at.

"Well... Keep it down. I can hear you from Lord Mesogog's Throne Room!" With that, his heavy footfalls grew fainter when the doors started to close and when she giggled at the beast, a growl from him was received.

"You will speak to no one, about this!" When she saw his tiny claws lift and threaten the safety of her throat, her self-control fell short.

Laughter came out in a burst for a bit, until, she lifted him close to her face again with her signature grin. "Don't worry! It'll be our little secret.~" Close to his smaller face her nose nuzzled against his, too bad she didn't get to see the content flutter of his eyes since her blue ones closed. However, when she was about to snuggle him close again, movement in her hands caught her attention and caused her to give him a confused stare.

Bit by bit, slowly, his form was returning to normal, and the more she held him in the air the harder it became due to his two hundred or more pounds. She did her best to hold on to him, which almost made her tumble had his feet not touched the floor in time, and finally reached his full height. A gradual raise of her head allowed their eyes to meet. Too close to his chest with her hands under his armpits, the situation as a whole made her freeze and become flustered.

"I repeat... No one should ever find out about this," As soon as he spoke, immediately her hands flew out from under his armpits and up in the air as if she were on some roller coaster ride.

"And I already said-- it'll be our secret.~ A secret between besties!" The lift of her pinky and a wink was self-explanatory. She wanted to make it a pinky swear, to which he used his hands to grab both of hers and yank her close to his face. Tight around her wrists with an iron grip, it was confusing to her as to why he did that. Her knitted brows and quizzical stare said it all, she was at a loss for words; of course with her red face adding to it.

It seemed as if he was enjoying the closeness, but then their noses touched, and felt him rub his forehead against hers. "W- W- What are you doing?" If her stutter didn't mean anything then her deepening blush did, for she tried to pry her wrists from him but failed in the end.

"Warm," As if on cue, the strong grasp she felt on her finally let go and watched as he stepped back. "I prefer the heat, remember?" From there he strode and left her in a silent flustered mess, too taken aback to notice, and remained as still as a statue.

If she had seen his face, she would've noticed the smug look he had when he left.

~~~~
What he overheard left him baffled, after his triumphant smirk returned to normal. To hear how she really felt about him on a much deeper level and how much she looked up to him. The way she listed off the things she liked about him and before that, during the part when she put herself in his shoes a minute to understand how he feels about the world. She... Is right. It really was much deeper than my wrath over humans. I felt alone in this world when I saw nothing but humans, and it turned into rage after I learned that I was a mistake. I emerged from Mercer without much purpose so I gave myself one... To bring Earth to its former glory. She claimed that my goal also stems from loneliness... We are similar in a way, it seems. He watched the creases in the floor when he walked and was nearly lost in thought.
When her one particular sentence got stuck like a spiderweb in the forefront of his mind, it repeated itself over and over as if it were in an echoing cave. Fell in love with him... Almost like a mantra, he kept trying to ponder the word love as if it were a foreign entity or something he'd never heard of.
With his hands against his lower back, he recalled the flirtatious moves he had done toward her and his most recent one, where he placed his forehead on hers. I felt the need to do it. I do not know why I wanted to... Attraction, perhaps? I cannot think of any other reason behind it other than that. If that is the case then I will be heavily distracted with her in my thoughts, until I do something about it. I cannot get rid of her, or distance her from me. A momentary pause gave him some time to recall all of those times they spent together so far and how much he had grown to enjoy her presence. She was like a stress reliever, seemingly easing his anger, entertaining him, challenging him, getting him to laugh where no one else has done so before, and more. Everything that she does seems to drive him crazy and he is beginning to realize, that that kind of crazy, is a good thing. It was something he didn't want to stay away from. It was almost like a force was pulling them together, like magnets, and he didn't seem to mind it in the least.
I want her near me... At all times he began, her welcoming aura and how she accepts him, made his confusing emotions stir. I need her. He concluded that it would be best to keep her in his world. To have her with and around him; he needed and wanted her. She belongs with me... his head raised and saw a group of Tyrnnodrones yank on a human dressed in some sort of fish costume.
He followed the horde that pushed the pathetic human into a room. "This is quite a set! I can almost smell the creativity!" After he saw the fish man get shoved into a Geno-Randomzier chamber, his Tyrannodrones surrounded it. Golden hues glanced from them to Elsa, who appeared about as irritated as he felt. The sight of the fish man and his endless friendly chatter drove both of their nerves up a wall. "So nice to meet you! Who built your costumes? I designed mine, myself, as you can probably tell!" Cowardice wreaked from the fish man like a bad odor Meso couldn't get rid of.
"Silence fool!" The dino man watched the goth yell at him on her way over to the Randomizer control system, which he decided to stand close to; if he was capable he would've shown her how displeased he was.
"I... Am not impressed, Elsa. This had better work," He was in a mildly pleasant mood moments ago when he eavesdropped on Amelia, but it was ruined when the fish man arrived. When he watched the man change, something inside caught his interest, even more so when the creature stepped out and revealed a more dangerous individual. I will give her points for the visuals. The appearance of the creature was interesting, to say the least, carrying a fishing pole and with a fishtail on the end of one hand.
"Now that's a monster," Mesogog hardly cared to hear what Elsa said, for his jaw slacked a bit, rather impressed with the looks and somewhat ferocity he had. "I will send him down to fight, master," Overhearing the goth, his attention stayed glued to the creature who followed her and watched as she disappeared through the invisiportal he placed for her.
Alone again. In the room, he was about to walk to his Throne when he heard a shrill cry echo through the hall and froze. It didn't sound like Amelia's usual cry of joy or excitement, but from pain as if someone hurt her. Without a second to spare, his long strides turned into a jog and saw a few of Solar's soldiers in the hall far ahead. So-- he picked this moment to appear? When Zeltrax and Elsa are away? Anger boiled the more he stared at the lingering soldiers. Out of his attire, he took a flash bomb while sluggish steps kept him as silent as a predator.
He was careful, calculative, and stepped close to one of the soldier's backsides when all of their heads turned away. With a swift movement, his claws covered the soldier's mouth, yanked him around a corner, and snapped his neck to give him little time to make a sound. Back around the hall, the bomb was thrown, and a bright flash caught them off guard; he had to lift his arm to shield his own eyes in the process.
Nonetheless, he relied on scent and sprinted through the hall. One after another the soldiers fell victim to his hand-to-hand combat and lethal skills that could match a super soldier on the field. Hissing, and growling, one of the men was lifted high above his head and tossed into the group to knock them back. No time was wasted, for he drop-kicked one, brought his palm up to smash another one's nose to pierce their brain, and lastly to one who stood closest to the door Amelia was behind.
He moved too quickly for the soldier to shoot in time, the gun he held was smacked away, and up came his elbow to his chest. The strength behind his strike was powerful enough to cave the chest cavity and stop the man's heart, there wasn't an ounce of care to see he had taken many lives with such ease. "He continues to underestimate me!" However, when the doors opened, his feet paused after he saw the redhead held in the air by her neck.
The sounds of her sobs, gasps for air, and low chuckles from Ace, racked up his anger more than it already was. "Hahahaha! Amelia... It's about time I got my hands on you! Do you realize how long I've been waiting to catch you alone?!" That disgusting, sinister grin of his went unnoticed since Mesogog's gaze was glued to Dr. Ray and her poor attempt at clawing at his hand.
Her face was turning red from the pressure, but when Ace saw her use a free hand to pull out a Chemic Bomb and grin at him, despite his grip, it was quickly ripped from her hold. "I don't think so... Not this time. You may be smart, but you're physically pathetic... Weak! The only real use you have is for Project B," The dino man watched Ace fish around in her lab coat for her pistols and other chemical tubes, which he took out and tossed aside.
Next, with a nasty fist, came a punch to her face that sent her flying across and into a chemistry station. The cry she made prickled at Mesogog's anger more and more, but what Ace said afterward caught his breath. "Amelia! Did you really think... You had special human DNA? No human being has the kind of DNA you do. So, how do you have such DNA?" Arrogantly cocking his head, he stepped closer to her wounded form that remained on the floor desperately gasping for air. "For Project B to work, I needed someone to hold as much DNA as possible. You're nothing more than a bio-engineered DNA database for it! I created you..." The look in his dark eyes when he lowered his head and towered over her now bewildered form, caused the dino man's anger to turn to rage.
Even more so when he saw disbelief widen her eyes as if it finally clicked. The grip on her bruised neck was a response to the pain she felt and the blood on her face seemed to only worsen Mesogog's opinion of him. Slowly, he walked in and stayed far behind Ace's backside, behind some stations with its many tubes. He was going to tear that prick apart. "You're not even human! You were created from an embryo! I hired some people to raise you and pretend to be your parents. I implemented childhood memories into your mind during your supposed Doctor appointments, and watched you grow at an incredible rate! At most, it took you five years to fully develop... You stopped growing when you turned twenty and aged normally like every other human. I created you with a high IQ so that you would be mentally strong enough to handle the mindsets of other creatures, you'd transform into," The more he talked, the more the beast wanted to tackle Solar to the floor and wring his neck.
However, he knew, that he needed to hear all of this, the real mystery behind Amelia, and Ace's plan. So he lingered in the dark corners and did his best to keep his rage in control. Seeing the silent tears leak from her disbelieving blue eyes didn't help his composure in the least.
"Why do you think I was so eager to have you work at my Facility? Did you honestly think it was because I wanted your genius? No... Your genius came from me! You just have more creativity than I do..." Ace trailed for a moment and took out his paralysis pistol from his white trench coat.
The outfit he donned was a bit different from when he last saw him. In a full dark blue suit, padded armor, and cybernetic lines, the outfit looked like something a super soldier would wear. "You're not even a woman. You're a thing... An it! Your sole purpose was to collect DNA, and add it to your genetic coding so that Project B can use it! You... Are the main database for it. And I'll cross universes to take you back if that's what it'll take! I worked too hard and gotten too far into my goal, to lose now!" There Mesogog saw him lower the gun, once the scientist realized she was too much in shock to move and knew she couldn't speak because of her throat.
Quick strides over to the tubes, Solar's hands began to pick them up and stow them away into his coat. "Since that's out of the way-- let's head back. I'm tired of dawdling and pretending that you are anything more than an ingredient," After he finished, he walked back to her and stared down at her with the most infuriated expression the dino man had seen on him yet. "I said-- stand up!" With a harsh kick to her abdomen, the force pushed her against the station and made her grunt loudly from the pain. That... Was the final push.
( Ace Solar's character theme :D!)
The moment Mesogog stepped around the stations he hid behind, he saw her blue eyes drenched in tears and soaked her bruised and bloodied cheeks. It sent him into a sprint that Ace barely saw, thankfully, it allowed him an opening to tackle him with a heavy thud. "Do not touch what is mine!" Sharp claws pinned down Ace's wrists with hisses as prehistoric growls expressed his rage.
"Yours?! You mean-- Mine?! I created her, you prehistoric prick!" Through gritted teeth and a spray of spit at Mesogog's face, Solar kicked him off with his inhuman strength and caused the beast to smack against the ceiling. As soon as he came back down, Mesogog corrected his position to stomp onto the scientist but received a harsh blow to his chest by Ace's palm.
A powerful, invisible force, a pulse of some kind pushed him across the room and against the wall. "I know all about your little tricks. Your supposedly telepathic power, your inhuman strength, scientific mind, everything!" The dino man managed to come back as quickly as he was pushed by the force and watched Ace reach into his coat to pull out his whip blades.
They uncoiled close to his feet and began to turn an orange color, heatwaves making the air distort around it. "And I know all about you. Using sentient brains to make the Cyborgs' machinery function and override their willpower. Using adults as test subjects, even children... Not even I would stoop that low. There is no need for such useless methods... But now you will pay," His low growls as he spoke were enough proof of his utter distaste for Solar. His hatred could easily outweigh the one toward Anton Mercer. "Amelia... No longer belongs to you," He couldn't so much as yell at Solar, there was no point in doing so since his actions would speak for him.
They were doing some sort of dance in a way, watching each other like prey in the wild, keeping a distance, and facing each other during their slow clockwise trek. Mesogog saw the metallic, heated blades on the whips follow behind him like a couple of tails. But when they lifted and swiftly swiped at him, he had to duck and roll. It was hot enough to cut a table behind him in half so he needed to move fast.
"She belongs to me! She's the bio-engineered database I created!" Neither of the two saw Zeltrax and Elsa watching in horror as they fought and conversed. The roar of anger from Solar was soon followed up by Mesogog's nasty hiss when they ran at each other.
The whip-blades stiffened when they were jutted out to the sides and swung down in an attempt to get a hit on Mesogog. The beast surprised him when he endured the sizzling pain and metal that was hardly puncturing his thick skin. Red claws grabbed the bare heated blades as he inched closer to Ace's porcelain face. When the beast was about to use his telepathic power on the man, Solar gave him a powerful headbutt that was strong enough to send him backward. The thwack sounding throughout the room made Elsa nearby wince and Zeltrax flinch, unbeknownst to the dino man.
"You could have made for an excellent ally. But now you are just a thorn in my side," Mesogog hissed out, leaped high with several kicks after Solar, and sent him across the room straight into a wall. However, he rolled out of the way when the scientist's whips covered the distance between them and lashed out. They were fast as he spun in place like a tornado. Slicing through tables full of robotic parts and almost hitting Amelia in the process, had she not been curling into herself from the immense pain.
The beast lifted his forearm to let one of the whips coil around it and endured the pain from its heat long enough to yank Solar toward him. "Haaah!" He spun in place and gave Solar a roundhouse kick powerful enough to kill an average man, but all it did was make him crash into the wall nearby. "Get her out of here!" As soon as he saw his minions, he didn't waste a second to give them an order and point to the redhead. Watching them nod and Zeltrax lifting his shield, Mesogog crossed his forearms to block an incoming strike from one of the whip-blades.
"I don't think so! One wrong move and she gets it!" The growl from Ace as he sprinted and stood next to a broken redhead, stiffened his whip-blade next to one of her legs, threatening to lop off one of her feet. "None of you will ever understand how underpopulated Earth is! A mass mutation is the key to fixing that! You want to bring dinosaurs back and I want to mutate the remaining human beings in my world. You and I-- are not that much different," There it was, his overconfident, disgusting grin that Mesogog hated so much, and it was enough to get a growl out of the beast. "Hahahahaha! Look at you... Not so tough, now that this thing... Is in danger!" Insane laughter bellowed from the mad scientist. Dropping one of his whip blades, the paralysis pistol was pulled out and aimed at the beast, which he didn't take too kindly.
"Thing?" This time there was a more monstrous growl from Meso. To think that he'd dare call her a thing, an object, an it, made his rage that much worse and he was certain his minions felt it from where they stood.
A glance at Zeltrax and Elsa was his signal to have one of them distract him and thankfully, the Cyborg caught on. Zeltrax sheathed his blade, whipped a hand out, and with a strong roar he shot energy out to knock the pistol from his hand. "Gah!" Ace spilled colorful words and shook his limb in response, which gave the beast enough time to lunge.
Tackling him, tumbling, and knocking the whip-blade out of his other hand, Mesogog was about to grab his head to snap it when he was kicked off. The harsh roll backward and flipping to regain his footing kept him from seeing Ace standing and backing up, closer to the platinum hole. "You will get yours... And when you do... You will regret ever pissing me off!" Out of his coat came a bomb and when he threw it down, Mesogog raced to Amelia.
Using his whole body to cover her and protect her from the destruction that came next. A powerful explosion went off that would've normally killed a human, but with his thick skin he easily endured it, and so had his minions when they took cover.
After everyone looked back where Ace once stood, they saw, that he was gone, and so was the portal. "Coward," Hissing, slowly, his attention went back to the wounded redhead who was dazed beneath him. The distant, almost broken look in her eyes made him want to chase Ace down and run through his facility like a wrecking ball, but he knew how dangerous that could be. Not a care for his minions showed on his prehistoric face, only the safety of Amelia came to mind, and so he lifted her in his arms.
There wasn't a moment when he'd look away from her tear and blood-stained, swollen face. Watching as her head limply rested on his chest, before he broke into a full sprint out of the room and left his lackeys behind.
"Sir-- allow me to check for severe wounds!" Elsa's voice from behind was left unanswered, the beast didn't waste a second to do so or look at them. The only things in his mind were healing Amelia's wounds and ripping Ace's head clean from his body. He's never felt so much rage in his life. It showed in his aggressive movements when he charged into his Throne Room and sat her in a seat with many straps.
Elsa hurriedly removed her lab coat and lifted the redhead's shirt to check, but Mesogog furiously growled at her as a warning for her to step away; which she did without question. "Go! Patrol the Fortress just in case he decides to come back with reinforcements!" Hissing as he gave his order, a red claw was directed to the double doors of his room, and his golden hues were moved back to the redhead.
"Yes, sir!" Zeltrax, with a nod, sprinted out of the room.
"Right away, my lord," After Elsa ran to catch up with the Cyborg, Mesogog's fingers began to press into her stomach, checking for broken ribs.
All he found was a fractured one which he knew would heal with time. He found a horrible bruise around her abdomen and then quickly moved to check her neck. Carefully touching her jaw to turn her head, it was indeed, swollen, the fresh bruise painted the entirety of her throat. "It will be difficult for her to eat with this injury," Through a growl, he spoke, and moved to look her directly in the face to examine the wounds. Blood on her one swollen cheek, a horrible welt on the other side from a red hand print that looked as though it was fading, and tears staining her face.
A single red claw was put between her lips to open her mouth, he needed to make sure she still had her teeth and thankfully, she did. When a moment of examining her passed, his claws ever so carefully cupped her less damaged cheek to stare into her broken and depressed eyes, which used to be full of life. "Rest," With that, he got to work.
Patching her up with bandages and wrapping her stomach with an ice pack attached, he made sure to place a large pack of ice over her neck too. During so, she had fallen asleep. Not without one last tear trickling from an eye, which didn't go unnoticed.
Colorful swears, came from Solar's office as he wandered back and forth in front of his desk. Many things were strewed and broken, or smashed, from his tantrum. His weapons were gone, Amelia was out of his reach now, and the mighty roar of fury made Miss Jamie who stood near the entrance of the room, cower closer to the door.
"I want that dinosaur freak-- dead!" His fist smashed into the wall next to him, which resulted in a large hole and a lengthy crack. "He steals my ingredient! He dares call it-- his?! It doesn't belong there, it belongs with me, as my DNA database!" His scream hadn't eased, his face brightened from rage as the muscles in his neck bulged and tightened.
"They even had the gall to hide the remains of my defeated Cyborgs! My workers couldn't find any traces! They will pay for this!" Through gritted teeth and a clenched jaw, he spat with anger.
"S- Sir... M- May I have some assistance, please?" Jamie's fearful voice caught his attention when he moved his cold and heartless eyes to green ones.
"With what?!" He didn't care if she flinched from his tone, for he whipped around to face his closet and took out a simple laser gun.
"T- There is one more issue with Project A. The AI is having trouble synchronizing with its robotics. I- If it's properly synced we could--" Cut off, the blonde was, when Ace's next words took her by surprise.
"Failure and excuses! That's all that seems to come from you! I don't need someone like you if all you do is ask for my help!" It was too quick for her to respond since he aimed the gun and shot her square in the head, with no delay. There was no remorse on his face, not even when he watched her fall limp to the now bloodied floor and the clack from the devices she held in her arms. "I'll have to take care of it myself!" There wasn't a single glance at her fresh corpse when he stepped over her and almost jogged through the halls.
Past several skittish employees who jumped out of the way of the man-made monster, it took him little time to reach his robotics room and stride by many Cyborg frames with empty craniums. The sheer rage radiating from him would've been like a suffocating heater to most others if they chose to stick around. The room was large, several other workers built Cyborg frames in the background and paid them no mind when he approached one robot in particular.
As if it were a grand prize on display for some winner, he saw Project A on a platform held up by wires that were attached to its legs, hands, arms, and head. Its feet dangled, its robotic eyes were lifeless, and its body was as pale as the moon. It wasn't Chrome like the others, no, it was made of a type of impenetrable metal that glossed an iridescent hue. He saw robotic scientists working on its backside, which he knew a hatch was opened to reveal its mechanics.
It was a majestic piece. A work of art, that made a smirk pull on Solar's lips. "Project A... A.O.D. Let's finish you up and send you after my ingredient. I want to see the look on their faces when Amelia's first creation hunts her down," With that, he scaled the stairs that led to the platform and shoved a worker out of his way. The sounds of tools and clangs of metal went ignored as he pressed a button to the side of its head, and got to work on the AI.
