"After her!" Furious cries from men echoed through a futuristic hall. A stampede, people clad in black, with machine guns in their arms and rifles, ran through a pure white hall that reflected the ceiling lights.

Grappling hooks shot up to the beams where a glass dome in the ceiling exposed the night sky and its bright moon. Men with sniper rifles were reeled to the top to survey the area, as others with machine guns and pistols either leaped over silver rails to a lower platform or ran down escalators.

No thanks to their movements, the sounds of high heels were hard to hear when a curly redhead sprinted into a different room and made it automatically shut from behind. The heavy breaths and tiny whimpers of fear were hard to control when the redhead hid in the shadows of the room, their back pressed against the wall close to the door.

The entire building was in lock-down, most lights flickered on and off as they searched the floors. Every citizen had run out, thanks to their generosity in guiding them and clearing the place. A large office desk at the entrance of the large, glass, double doors, proved how far into the future they were since it floated an inch above the ground and pulsed faint blue light.

"Where did she go?!" One soldier questioned among the crowd of pursuers. From side to side, they aimed their guns and directed their laser pointers whenever they would see a quick flash of white.

"There!" Quickly, rapid bullets smashed through windows into another room and made shards of glass spray around the pane and on the glossy floor. None of them hesitated to jump over the broken pane and give chase, for they thought the flash was their target.

"Boys-- don't let her escape! Find her!" A much deeper voice reached the said woman whose arms held onto a document against her chest. Panting, she began to take deep breaths to calm her frenzied heart and giggled.

"Good. They fell for my illusion!~" Her whispers were a little loud as her blue eyes peeked around the edge of a window to her other side and adjusted her circular glasses. The darkness in the room made it difficult to see, save for the faint light through the door and the window she looked through. In one hand was a tiny mirror, which she lifted and reflected the lights out to the main lobby to cast another white flash.

"There!" She heard the men yell and sprint into another room.

She couldn't help but laugh and reach into her pocket. There was a tiny recording device that she took from her office and brought to her lips. "Dr. Amelia Ray, here.~ Updating my progress! They thought they could keep me here and treat me like a guinea pig after all the years I've spent with them and helping them with Project B. Project A had failed and resorted to the next best option, but when they realized they needed more than just blood samples or live subjects, they found out about my little secret. They've run tests on me, experiments, but I'm not going to just sit by and let them continue! So far-- I've made some progress in my escape plan," She paused for a moment to stay quiet and watched through the window as others ran past.

Again, the mirror she had, was lifted to flash another white streak, and giggled when they screamed out her fake location. Their stomps and gunshots shattered more glass, so when she deemed them far away enough, she continued.

"Hopefully, this will keep them off of me long enough! My new invention! If I can't get away in this world, I'll go to another one! Date: January 14, 2050! This is the end of my update!" With a click of her button, the recording stopped, and quickly ducked when someone's head looked through the window.

Back into her lab coat's pocket, the device was put back and another one was pulled out. It was the size of a USB drive. When she closed her eyes to ponder the best location, a grin grew on her lips and evil laughter escaped in the form of giggles.

"No one will ever suspect a television show. Let's see... Not a lot of adults would think about a Power Ranger series. I used to watch a lot of them. Let's see..." She quietly spoke, pulled out her phone, and swiftly searched the internet for a list of their series. "Ah-- an old one, yes! Yes! This one will do nicely. I used to be hooked and binged a lot of these! Dino Thunder could be useful! If I can get prehistoric DNA and inject it into myself, my skin would be thicker and I'd be able to handle their gunshots!" She whisper-yelled as she crawled away from the door in her dark heels and tight blue skirt.

She ignored it when her pantyhose got caught by something sharp near the floor and made a small tear. "I just need to get to the top of this building unseen," Quietly she spoke to herself, giggled, and carefully made another door hiss open while she was still on her knees.

Her fingers kept her glasses in place after she leaned over to peek at the horde of soldiers and thanked the stars above, that she had some muscle to hold herself upright. One hand kept the document secure as the other supported her weight when she crawled behind a man's back, her eyes were set on an elevator across from her.

From her pocket, the tiny mirror was pulled out once more and she grinned when another flash on the second floor was shined across metal. "Up there!" Everyone swarmed like bees in a hive, for she watched them shoot their bullets and sprint to the upper floor.

There wasn't another moment to spare, she pushed herself to a stand and her fingers tapped to summon the elevator. Tapping her foot, impatiently waiting, she pretended to check a watch that wasn't there on her wrist, and on occasion peeked at the flurry of bullets. When the elevator dinged, it was a bit too quiet compared to the ruckus next to her, so she quickly dashed inside and made the doors shut.

"Where is she?! This is taking forever!" The same deep voice filled the air, albeit angry, for the woman could hear him clearly through the metal of the elevator. "Men-- search the top, just in case she managed to get around us! Snipers-- secure the perimeter to make sure she didn't get outside!" As the elevator began to move up, she ignored the man's orders and began to whistle a playful tune.

Beautiful blue eyes looked back at her, behind her round glasses and when she started to adjust her curly red locks, a giggle escaped that could easily match someone who was insane. "Almost there.~ I'm almost there!" Her heart screamed with excitement at the thought of trying out her new invention of traveling to an alternate world and grabbing some fun bits of DNA to try out.

Finally, after the elevator dinged, the doors hissed open, and her feet ran into a sprint. Her heels clicked against stone when she ran to the edge of the rooftop and the next thing she knew, the sound of guns clicked behind her and a helicopter lifted above the side she stood on.

Gasping, panicking, both ways she looked and backed up into a corner where she almost fell if she hadn't stopped. "This is the end of the line, Dr. Ray! You have stolen classified documents and went against the rules! Return the documents and we may reconsider your life not forfeit!" Out of the crowd of soldiers who aimed to kill, came the same man who donned the deep voice. Clad in a white business suit and dress pants, he stood about six feet with the most disgusting grin for a thirty-year-old man. "I'd hate to lose someone as smart as you," He added and chuckled.

"Too bad! 'Cause you boys are about to lose the only person... Who's ever invented... This!" As quick as she could, off of the edge of the roof, she jumped backward and laughed. No one got to see her point her tiny USB-sized device behind her, for a bright platinum-colored hole appeared amid the air and she fell right through.

Unbeknownst to her, after the horde, and the man in white rushed to the edge, all they got to see was a flash of platinum before it disappeared into the darkness. "Hurry! She couldn't have gotten far!" His finger pointed. Oh, but she did, and he had no idea just how far she went.

~~~~
The man in white followed the group of soldiers back into the building. His black loafers clacked against the floor and scaled stairs into a room, the disappointed look on his face was ignored by the others. "I need any information you can get on her! Journals, recordings, internet history, notes, something that will tell us exactly where she went or what she's planning! Dr. Ray is too smart for her own good and we need her back!" His words were absolute, and authoritative, for he pointed with aggressive gestures with his fingers and watched the horde spread out to search for clues.
The hand he used to direct his men, was also used to comb through his black hair and smooth back any unkempt strands. "The last thing we need is to have her biggest talent wasted on some sort of inaccurate hypothesis!" Groaned the man in white who rubbed the palm of his hand over his cleanly shaved and porcelain face.
Dark brown eyes examined each desk he walked by to look for anything she may have forgotten or left behind. He paid his soldiers no mind as they scavenged the building and flipped over office desks, in hopes of something to pop out and say here I am.
Through a shattered glass door from their previous shootings, shards crunched and were kicked aside when the man in white entered Dr. Ray's office.
Tattered to pieces, one tiny window sat above a similarly floating desk that the Main Lobby had, albeit smaller, and had various decorations relating to other sciences and mostly DNA. The faint wind from his side indicated one of his soldiers walked past him to help examine the office, to which he ignored and made his way toward the tipped-over chair.
"If I know her right... If she's as smart as I think she is..." His words trailed off when he kneeled close to the chair and moved his gaze to see beneath the desk. "She'd hide important information where no one can see it. Where no one would think to look for it and usually... The best places to keep things out of sight are..." Again he took a moment and inched his fingers toward a tiny panel that was barely noticeable under the foot of her desk.
He smirked, pushed the desk gently to make it sway out of the way, and cranked on the panel. It was a very small space, too small for anyone's eyes to notice right away. Others would have to really look to find it and his smirk broadened when he opened it with a tiny laser from his suit's pocket.
There inside was rolled-up paper, along with many other kinds of random stuff he didn't understand very well. Some disks were aligned beneath the paper regarding television shows, that were meant for children or teenagers, and his fingers greedily took the paper. He paid the disks no mind, for he thought it was just a collection she didn't want anyone else to see, lest they judge her for being so childish. "Alright, Dr. Ray... What have you been keeping from us?" As he unrolled the paper, his brown eyes lit up with astonishment at the sight of a blueprint.
The blueprint consisted of information regarding her new invention and saw on the top-right corner, that it was a copy of its original. He couldn't help but laugh at it, the amusement behind it all made him hold his head and lay the paper on the desk. "Amazing!" Between laughs, he turned and leaned his back against a wall. "And here I thought she was just crazy!" He added during his fit of laughter and turned to one of his soldiers who looked at him strangely.
"Tell everyone! I found out what she's been hiding from us. A tiny device she managed to create, that can let her hop from world to world and it's the size of a small USB drive... She's far more clever than what I took her for. But... What I find funny... Is that this blue-print was smeared over on purpose with some kind of liquid!" This time, frustration made him kick the desk and force it to slam against the opposite wall. "I'm only able to see half of the details on this!" He screamed out, as fury burned in his eyes. "I'm going to create another one and hunt her down! No one gets away with screwing me over! No one! She thinks she can make fun of me or mock me, by ruining the very thing that could be of use to me in the end?!" On his way out of the room, he grabbed the paper and stormed off. "I don't care what stands in my way... Be it a monster or a human! I'll make sure that redhead's DNA gets stripped down to a very microscopic size and extracted! She's the key to everything!" Throughout the halls, his voice boomed and made many of the soldiers' heads perk up.
~~~~

"You fools!" Raspy words echoed as a woman in black and a man clad in dark armor limped their way into a laboratory.

Lab tables which consisted of chemistry sets, tubes, vials, and other various tools, were in their respective locations. The walls were a mix of yellow, green, and black while the floor was of white concrete. Shoes thudded as a monstrous creature approached the duo who entered, their three, sharp, long, and red claws pressed against its back. Golden, sunken eyes on a prehistoric face bore angrily into another pair that looked down in shame. "You let Tommy Oliver escape!" Its voice held so much venom, and distaste over their failure as a beastly growl rumbled.

"Forgive me, my lord. There was--" Before the woman in black could continue, distorting screams resonated through the room and caught their attention.

It grew louder and louder as if someone's ghost rampaged through the halls outside the doors. All three individuals backed up to look around the room, confused, and concerned for the blood-curdling scream that sounded as though it came from a horror film.

"Quickly! Go find where this scream is coming from!" The beastly creature roared with anger as its prolonged last word made the two others almost sprint into the halls. That was until, it became so loud, as if it were right inside the room with them and was about to attack.

"I regret nothiiiiing!" All three heads looked up when a platinum light lit up and shaped out a hole in the air. None of them were expecting to see a woman fall from the hole, crash on top of the prehistoric creature with a heavy thud, and pieces of paper fly out of a tan folder. Flat on the floor, heavy breaths left both of them only for the woman to groan hysterically into the beast's clothes, near its collarbone.

"Ow.... my aching EVERYTHING!" Again the woman groaned and hardly moved. "I think I landed on a rock... It's warm though," Carefully, but gently, tan fingers began to poke close to her side and felt hard lumps that she could've sworn were moving. "Why does this rock have abs of steel?" Again, she asked, her words once more muffled by the cloth her mouth was buried in.

Slowly, the redhead sat up and straddled the best she could with how constricting her skirt was and adjusted her round glasses. Finally, after what felt like seconds of staring into golden, dumbfounded eyes, she blinked and jumped. "EEE! Why does this rock have a face?!" Comically she bolted up off of his midsection and hopped back on one foot, despite her heels. "Whoa... So it worked?" This time, she adjusted her glasses and her blue eyes squinted to look at the person better.

As he sat up, with his mouth agape, she examined his features as if he were a fine specimen on a lab table. "Prehistoric features... Red claws, sharp teeth, predatory eyes, I'm assuming with the athletic muscle build and the broad shoulders-- it's a maaaaale... And with the dangerous glare he's giving me, he's about to shout and get angry at me for suddenly... Dropping in!" With a loud clap and a joyous smile, her foot popped up behind her.

"Who are you and why have you invaded my--" The beast hardly had time to speak, when the redhead overran him with a speech so fast, that he couldn't keep up.

"Territory? House? Home? Dark manor!~ Labratoraaaay! Wait... A LABRATORY! Yes! Hahahahahaha! Finally!" With arms raised high above her head and insane laughter escaping her lips, she ran to one of the tables and examined the many vials on display. "Wow! Amazing! Remarkable! Beautiful little bits and pieces to compact together into a concoction of the BEST prehistoric test theory I could try and pull off!" Laughter, pitches that could easily be compared to a maniac's, reached their ears as she ran along the many tables and swiftly examined each tube off one of the racks.

"This place is like a haven! So many things I could use to put together the best inventions in a lifetime! Hahahahaha!" Purely excited, the redhead giggled and waved her fists close to her chest. "I-- Dr. Amelia Ray! Have officially escaped with the best invention throughout all history!" More giggles, which turned into insane laughter, bits of drool left her lips and made the duo she was next to lean away awkwardly.

"My lord... Is she--" Not even the woman in black could get a word in, for the redhead screamed happily, clapped, and jumped up and down as if a child was permitted to go to Six Flags with their friends, for the first time.

"Yes! Hahahaha! I'd like to see that douche try and steal my precious invention now! Woooo!" Her fist pumped into the air and rushed over to the scattered papers and the folder near the beast's feet. As fast as her hands could, they reached for each piece of paper until her blue eyes spotted the one under the dino man's foot. Carefully, the papers were tucked into the folder and playfully, she began to poke at his foot with the exception of a few mad giggles. "Excuuuuusaay muah! Can you so kindly remove your firmly planted foot from my piece of paper, that's totally not suspicious?" With a tiny hop, on both feet, she held the folder in one armpit and brightly smiled at the prehistoric male.

"No! Now get out of my lair!" Close to her face, the male yelled and hissed with displeasure at her sudden energetic and joyous attitude. Her behavior was rather rude in his eyes and didn't much like the idea of some stranger frolicking through his lab as if it were a field of flowers.

"Noooo! I caaaan't!~" Amelia copied him, hissing and making her voice raspy. To add to her sense of humor, she pretended to be a cat and swiped playfully at his shirt. "Hiss, hiss!" Her display, from what she and the others could tell, made the beast's golden eyes awkwardly dart around the room.

Never in his life had he met someone so childish, that they'd have little to no fear receptors and mock a predator who could kill them easily. "You are strange," Growling once more, the prehistoric male stated with disgust and took a step back.

"So are you.~" Again, she made her voice raspy and prolonged the last word to copy him. Her large smile never faltered, despite the danger that he could put her in, nonetheless, she giggled and continued. "Anyway! I-- am Dr. Amelia Ray! Head biologist in all its categories, Genetics, Neurobiology, Physiology, and Engineering in the Ace Solar Facility, in my world! It's a pleasure to meet such an esteemed biologist, paleontologist, and Chemist like you!" Bright and full of admiration, her eyes sparkled with life when she offered her hand for him to shake and flashed her insane smile.

Even though Amelia grew up a fan of Power Rangers and secretly binged them on occasion, she thought it best not to expose such a thing and pretended to be ignorant of who he was.

Slowly, awkwardly, a pair of red claws inched toward her outstretched hand and just barely he took it. "Mesogog," Simple and to the point, if he knew any better, he was able to tell something was off about her mental state by how she behaved and the lack of fear she showed in front of him.

"Mesogog! Yes! Awesome name!~" Her expression became awestruck and impulsively began to get into his personal space, when she lifted his arm to examine it. "Truly a work of art!" She began, twirled underneath his limb to go around his backside and raise the other arm. "Amazing!" Like a child checking out a new toy, she found fascination in his anatomy and giggled madly. From his bicep to his claws, her fingers traced along each one to a point, before moving to his face and gripping his chin. "What a masterpiece, you are! Beautiful!" Squealing, gushing over the build, her hand moved his head left and right to take in how well the biology of his being worked. Amelia was so busy going crazy and studying his anatomy up close that she didn't notice his dumbfounded eyes.

"Stop that!" Exclaiming, Mesogog's last word was prolonged with a hiss, and took a few steps back to show his annoyance. However, a tiny piece of him secretly enjoyed the attention and it bubbled up his ego. After he straightened up and looked at her astonished face, both of his hands moved behind his back. "Either you leave... Or I'm using you as my next lab rat," Dangerous words fell from his prehistoric mouth, complementing the sinister aura about him that still, strangely enough, didn't phase her.

"Aw!~ So mean! Can't I stay here for a while?~ Pretty please-- with a prehistoric bone on top?!~" Her cute whining and repetitive blinking were hard to ignore, especially when she reached close to his face, and gave him the puppy-dog eyes.

They stared like that for the longest time, completely ignoring the woman in black nearby who was trying not to laugh at her poor attempt to convince him. "Lord Mesogog would never let an outsider stay here, not someone as crazy as you, at le-" With a smirk and a scoff, the gothic woman was about to discourage her of the idea, but her mouth quickly fell into a frown upon her Master's next words.

"As long as you are useful," Then and there Mesogog answered, albeit hesitantly, and aimlessly moved his golden gaze to view everything else except her; Amelia could tell, that it was a nervous reaction.

"Wohooo! Thanks!" Quickly, over to a lab table, she kicked off her shoes that comically flung across the room; she moved her fingers along each vial on the racks to read their labels. "Yes! This one-- and this! Oh, and this one too! Hahahaha!" Over and over, each tube was pulled out with a noticeable clink, which she wasn't aware that Mesogog walked closer and looked over her shoulder to see.

He had to inch backward to avoid her strangely crazy dance as she put two tubes together on both open ends and shook them like they were soda cans. "Hahahahaha!" Next, she poured each one into another, making the colors change and morph into something different.

Her insane laughter filled the room, for she grabbed a couple of other tubes that were closed, and skillfully juggled them a second in the air. Now with four tubes pressed against each other with both of her hands, she ran over to another lab table to pour them into an empty glass container. She had no idea, nor did she care, that the three cautiously stepped closer to watch her odd behavior and what she was making.

"What are you doing?!" Roared the dino man who angrily leaned in her ear and dangerously bore his eyes into hers, which weren't phased by his outburst in the least.

"I'm going to make my first Franken Baby! Hahahahahahahehehehehe!" Amelia cheered, giggled like mad, and picked the glass container up. Swiftly to the other table, the object was placed and whipped around to face the slowly approaching beast.

"What is a Franken Baby?" The gothic woman, who curled her lips and knitted her brows in confusion, questioned with a fold of her arms. "Are you clinically insane?" The redhead's mentality was what concerned her the most, for she wasn't sure if she was all right in the head or not.

"I don't know! Am I insane? I don't think I'm insane.~ Are you insane? Is he insane?!~ What's sane these days? Hahahahahaha!" Giggles came out in a fit when she held onto her stomach and leaned on the table.

Mesogog's curiosity over the woman certainly was noticeable but his agitation over her energetic and impulsive behavior was evident.

"Anyway! A Franken Baby is just a term I'd like to use, for a Frankenstein version of multiple creature's body parts put together to create a single beast! Thanks to the DNA samples I have at these tables, I can whip together my own little beasty that could rip apart my future pursuers! Which may or may not appear within two days or a day in a half! But if my Boss looks for any information in my office, then there's an 85% chance he will recreate my invention with my intentionally ruined, second blue-print! Then if that's the case, the invention will be created in a day!" Her words flew swiftly from her lips as she began to ponder the most accurate arrival time for the Facility's soldiers to find her.

With arms high above her head, a broad smile donned on her ecstatic face, and all three individuals remained quiet at her outburst. "So if it's created in a day, then half another day or maybe less, he will find my location and send his soldiers to find me and take me back! Which-- I really don't want to!" As cheerful as she sounded, her words held a bit of a morbid and mysterious background that made golden eyes continue to stare.

"Then why should I allow you to stay here?! If you are here, they will come, and ruin my laboratory!" Close to her face, he hissed and grabbed her by the neck with his clawed hand.

"Because I need you-- and if they find out that I'm here, it would be too late for both of us! They would want to take you back with me and do stuff that I refuse to mention!~ If I'm not prepared for their arrival-- they will stun us and capture us," From cheerful and bright, to serious and dark, her smile fell. Despite the claw around her neck, there was still no fear in her eyes, and it intrigued the beast a little.

"You could always leave... Using the device you-" Once more, for the thousandth time since she crashed there, he was interrupted by her speedy words.

"Nope! Nada! Zilch! Because if they learn that there's prehistoric DNA, they'll want to capture you too to extract blood and use you as a guinea pig like they did to--... Nevermind! Aside from that! Why would you... Want to pass up this chance-- to learn new and fun things?! All kinds of scientific theories are at your disposal! Think about all of the possibilities there are if you could combine a dinosaur with a cat! Maybe a Compy and Manx wildcat! Muahahahaha!" With both arms out to her sides and her hands up like some villainess, fake, evil laughter left her lips over the idea of it all.

"Lord Mesogog... She really is insane, but her ideas don't sound too bad," The man clad in dark armor, whose voice was gravelly and incredibly deep, spoke up.

"Yes... She makes a valid point. Her creativity could be of use to me. Zeltrax, prepare some Drones to guard the halls in case they arrive early," Mesogog, who lowered his hand and put both claws behind his back, began to walk toward the door to the room. He didn't have to look to see the cyborg bow and make his way out of the room too.
