Rex

As I watched Yuri, I knew that she was up to something big. I walked home before she spots me, and I saw Max Taylor.

Max has a dino Archeologist for a father, and he was exactly like Yuri was, obsesses with Dinosaurs.

"Hey, Rex! I thought you were with Nuri . " Max asks, with a curious expression. I wonder if he believes me if I told him that I saw an actual dinosaur fight.

"Max, you wouldn't believe what I been through. I just-" I began to say as he spots Yuri coming out of the Dino lab.

"Hey, is that one of the girls you hang out with? "

"That's Yuri. She has this obsession with Dinosaurs as long I can remember." I explained to him.

"Hey, Yuri!" Max yells as I tried to stop the boy from trying to cause any trouble.

 She looks directly at us as she stops . 

"Hey, Rex. Who's this guy with you?" She greets me with a curious, yet concern look.

Yuri

After Dr. Grace finished upgrading my D-morpher, she suggested that I should remain low of my identity as a Dino Tamer.

"It would cause a lot of trouble if word gets out about you being a Dino Tamer. For now, let's keep it as a secret from Nuri and Rex." Dr. Grace said.

"So, I have to lie to the closest friends I had. Man, talk about keeping things harder than it looks." I sighed.

Branch said, "Dr. Grace is right, Yuri. I know that saving the universe is a biggest challenge you ever faced, but we have to figure out which Dino cards are located and maybe we might have a new Dino Tamer in our mist without realizing it." 

I sighed, "I guess you're right, Branch. I have to get going. " 

Branch walks with me towards my house where a boy yells, "Hey, Yuri!" 

Branch and I exchanged looks as Rex catches up with him.

"Hey, Rex. Who's this guy with you?" I ask him.

The boy with a triceratops hat said, "My name is Max Taylor, Rex lives with me." 

I was shocked. Rex never told me about that.

 Rex blushes as Max said, "Come on, Rex. It's not that bad as you want to be." 

I said, "Let me guess. You really love dinosaurs don't ya?"

Max said, "Of course I do! Triceratops are my favorite dino. What's yours?"

"Easy, the Brachiosaurs are my favorite, they're the best." 

As I was about to leave, my D-morpher beeps.

"Hey, what's that sound?" Max asks, with concern.

"Sorry, guys, I have to-" But it pulled Max, Branch and me into a different timeline.

"Where are we?" I ask.

That's when we saw an Triceratops! 

"Branch!" I yelled, as I grab the dino out of the way from being squished.

But Max wasn't afraid. "What ya know? Chomps, is that you pal?"

The Triceratops lick him as they know one other.

Branch said, "That means he's a Tamer too! " 

"I guess that I should let you know my dinosaur. This is Chomps. I um, opened his egg in the forest and befriended him." 

Branch and I exchanged glances, if he really is a Dino Tamer, like I am, it would mean that his life would change dramatically.

"Why you looking at me like that? What's going on?" 

Suddenly Chomps said which cause Max to jump, "I have a hunch that you be here , Brachiosaur." 

"Call me Branch. I'm Yuri's partner, and it seems like we're going to be teammates." Branch declare.

Max was stunned to hear the dinos talking. 

Suddenly I see another dinosaur. "Is that a Stegosaurus?" 

"Yeah, I think it is!" Max said. 

"Then we got it back into a card before the Alpha Gang does. Ready for battle , Branch?"

He nods as he transforms back into a card which Max was dumbfound by the revelation of a Dino Card.

"Chomps is also a card. Just follow my lead."

The bracelet transforms into my D-morpher, "D-Charge! Brach, rise up!" 

Max raises his D-morpher, "D-Charge! Rise up, Triceratops!"

Both Dinosaurs appears as the Stegosaurus roars. 

Max

Yuri seems confident about this battling Dinosaurs. It's like she been one. Then I remembered something. 

Rex told me that he has seen an Dinosaur fight with a Tyrannosaurs Rex and an Brachiosaur.

Wait, could this be the dinosaur that he saw, and why is Yuri involved with this?

Suddenly, the T-rex appears which causes Yuri to groan with sweat, "So much of my big mouth. It's Terry. 

Branch, let's use a new move that Dr. Grace gave us! Branch Lighting Stampede!" 

The move was so powerful that cause Terry to collapse! 

"Max, you handle the Stegosaurus while I deal with the Alpha Gang." 

"Uh, right. Chomps, use Terra Horn Attack!" I said, swiping his attack card in my D-morpher.

The attack hit the dino so powerful as it transforms into a card in defeat! 

"Get away from the Stegosaurus Card!" The lady demanded, but with my quick thinking, I tripped her and grabbed it.

"Yuri, I got the card!" I yelled, as she exclaims happily, "Great job!" 

We were transported back to our own timeline which Yuri was relieved. 

"It looks after that fight, you're defiantly a Dino Tamer." She said.

We walked together to her house and invited me inside to talk.

She told me of the legend of the Dino Tamers and the task of being one, I looked at Branch and Chomps.

"Whoa, who would've believe that the Dinosaurs from 65 million years asking kids to become Dino Tamers?

Do you think we will have another teammate soon?" I ask.

Yuri shrugs, "I have no idea, Max. But you are one of Dino Tamers  we found and we just collect a Dino card.

Listen, we can't tell Rex or Nuri about any of this. They don't know how dangerous it could be and they wouldn't believe that us Dino Tamers have to travel through time and save the universe from existence."  

I hate to lie to Rex, but Yuri does have a point there. Yuri and I are the only ones who know what is really going on with the recently Dinosaur incidents, and we have to remain all of it as a secret.

"I guess you had a point. So, what we do?" I ask.

Yuri said, "There's nothing we can do until the D-morpher sends either one of us to the next Dinosaur card." 

We quickly became the best of friends as we waited for the next time we go get the next card.

Man, being a Dino Tamer is awesome!

Nuri

I feel jealous of Max hanging out with Yuri. Constantly, it's like they have this massive secret that only they know about.

Rex seems my anger and frustration, "Nuri, are you ok?"

I snap, "Do you think I'm ok?!? Yuri's always hanging around with this Max character and basically forgetting all about us!" 

"Come on, Nuri. Don't be so sensitive about this. Max doesn't have any friends who loves Dinosaurs as much he does.

Besides I live with the guy." Rex said.

Yuri was walking to her house with two she call "Dogs" with Max. They been also went to the Dino Lab after school too.

"Yuri, do you have anything else planned today?" Max asks. She said, "Not other than our 'adventure' thing, no." 

"Well , do you want to sleep over at our place? You can even bring Branch too." 

She said, "You sure that's a good idea?"

Max said, "Sure! Besides, Rex needs all the company he needs. You been his friend like forever before I met you." 

I was boiling with anger as Rex asks, "Nuri, you all right?" 

"I'm fine!" I snapped which causes both teens to look at me and Rex with pure confusion.

Max

We entered into my house which both of my parents greeted me.

"Max! Welcome back! Oh, I see that you brought not only Rex, but a girl! Tell me, Maximus, is she the one?" Mom asks.

I sweat with total embarrassment, "Mom! I thought I told you to never call me Maximus! It's really embarrassing!"

Yuri asks, with laughter, "Your real name is Maximus Taylor? Gee, that's something!"

"Oh, be quiet!" I yelled back at her, which Rex seems to smile a bit, which is a quite a good thing since I last saw him like that.

Branch and Chomps run around playing as Yuri said, "I never thought of seeing Branch so excited of playing with another dinosaur before.

I am still trying to adjust that things wouldn't be the same again, since we are both Dino Tamers."

I said, "Yeah, you're right."

She notices the picture of Rex and me as little kids.

"Did you ever find Rex's parents? I know that he doesn't want to talk about it, but I know deep inside, he feels depressed that we have parents while he doesn't.

I mean that is the reason you guys let him stay with you, isn't?" Yuri said, which causes me to be in total amazement.

It's like she knew what Rex was feeling, even though he never shows it.

"It's amazing. You actually knew what Rex is feeling, in fact that you knew him better than anyone."

Yuri twirl her hair, "You think so? Rex is a great guy and Nuri... she can be stubborn sometimes but she has a good heart."

I said, "It must be harder on you though, to keep a secret from them. Being a Dino Tamer."

"Gee, that's reassuring." She said, then we hear a scream.

We saw a dinosaur that was a Raptor! 

"A Raptor!" Yuri said, with surprise expression.

"Why would a Dinosaur like a Raptor doing in this timeline? I mean, it would cause a lot of damage to the city."  

Rex saw the events happening.

" Yuri!" He said, as the dino attacks him as Chomp said, "Max, you have to transform me! Use your D-morpher!" 

"Chomps , you know it's dangerous! I thought that being a Dino Tamer remains a secret!" 

"Look, we have to do something, and I can't wait any longer!" 

Yuri said, "Rex, wake up!" 

The Dino was about to head straight for them, as I said, "Triceratops, Rise up! Terra Horn attack!" 

Yuri was stunned of she was saved by Chomps. "Max!" 

"Leave this battle to me, Yuri. You and Branch have to get Rex to safety. Head to the Dino Lab, we'll regroup there." 

She nods, as Branch said, "Be careful you two." 

Jasmine

I heard a desperate knocking on the door, and with my utter surprise .

"Yuri! Rex! Wait, what's going on here?" I ask, as Yuri was exhausted from carrying an unconious Rex.

"Listen, Max is fighting a Dino right now. He's a Dino Tamer like I am."

I said, "You got to be kidding me! Why you leave him like that?"

"I never intend to! He insisted to battle himself. I'm actually worried if he ever to pull it off with Chomps."

Branch said, "I'm sure that they'll be fine. Besides, Chomps is with him."

Yuri turn to her partner, "I guess you have a point, Branch. Why you stay on guard while I mend Rex's wounds? 

Jasmine would help me with the stitches." 

I nod as I handed her with the needles she needs to sew the wounds. 

"Rex was so stupid, going to protect me like that . I should've transform Branch at the time, but I have Max and Chomps to thank for saving us." Yuri sighs.

I knew that I have to make Yuri tell Rex the truth about being Dino Tamers. 

"Rex has to know about this, Yuri." I stated. Yuri was surprised of my sudden statement.

"Jasmine, I thought that your mother asks us not to reveal our duty as Dino Tamers." Yuri said, but I said, "Well, what that have to with everything has been going on here latterly?!?

Rex got hurt because we thought keeping all of this a secret would be a good thing, but it isn't! 

You, Branch, and Max need all of our help to save the Dinosaurs and the universe." 

Yuri sighs, as Max pants with a grin, "I managed to get the Raptor Dino card, Chomps is exhausted from the fight though."

Yuri grins, "Well, that's a first victory for the Dino Tamers. Although, it seems strange to me." 

Chomps ask, "What you mean?"

"Well, we get two  Dino cards... I just hope that Alpha Gang isn't involved of all of this."
