-Silica, District One-

"Sou... chan?"

Late night after the meeting, human-forme Tamaki gazed up through the hotel window at the sky. He was woken up from a sweet dream of someone feeding him an unlimited amount of Ousama Pudding. While Tamaki could not sense exactly where Sougo was the same way an animal senses another, he could faintly feel a change in Sougo's flow of power. It had gotten stronger, in a way that Sougo seemed to be 'nearer' to the human worlds. He should have been further up in the sky.

It was indeed strange. Sougo was the Keeper of the Dimensions. He would never, ever, come so close to the human worlds. He was to only watch over them in the Sky Realm. The dragon felt it was better to warn his friends.

"Mikki, ne, Mikki, wake up." Since Tamaki was sharing a hotel room with Mitsuki, he walked sloppily to the older guy's bed. He shook him lightly. It did not take long for Mitsuki to wake up with a groan.

"What's up, Lazu?" He slowly got up, rubbed his eyes, and tried his best to pay attention to what Tamaki was saying. "So you are saying the angel could be coming down to Silica or Majabah, possibly wreaking havoc?" Tamaki nodded. Immediately, Mitsuki felt very awake. It was bad. Tamaki had at first estimated they had around a week to safely prepare everything for the Sky Realm invasion, knowing Sougo would not start another calamity. Their time was suddenly cut short. They only had one day, today, to work on what they had agreed on in the meeting. Mind you, no one slacked off. Still, it was physically impossible to craft an effective medicine or build a perfect communication system during that short time.

The only thing new they managed to make was 'enhanced guns'. Nagi was inspired by how Gaku used his magic with his shuriken. He asked Gaku to cast some magic into a strange machine, in which it collected some of Gaku's magic power. It then attempted to convert that power into a form of force. Nagi tried imbuing that force into a bullet to make it travel much further with more penetration power. With that being a success, Nagi called for the mass production of enhanced guns and bullets, so now they had plenty of more-useable ranged weapons. Silica's guns were made to be light so any untrained person could handle them. However, the aim still depended on skills.

Mitsuki decided to call Nagi right then and there to tell him about Tamaki's warning. There was no way of knowing if Sougo would truly appear or how fast, so it was better to be prepared. Nagi came to Mitsuki's room to discuss the matter a little further before deciding the best course of action.

"We thought it was best not to let people know about the situation since we would take the fight up to the Sky Realm anyway, but now..." Nagi struck a deep-thinking pose in his pretty silk pyjamas. "Everyone could be in direct danger. We need to warn them."

The three made their way up to Riku's hotel room. Mitsuki knocked on the door three times, which woke Gaku up in an instant on the other side. On their king-sized bed, Riku was snuggling into Gaku's warm body. The lord seemed to be sleeping soundly. He was lying on his side with an arm across Gaku's stomach. Gaku attempted to sneak out of that contact quietly. He was failing as the moment Riku felt the warmth was disappearing, a frown appeared on his peaceful face. He also tightened the grip, muttering "No... zzz... pillow..."

For a moment, Gaku felt insecure about his supposedly ripped abs. Then again, he had to focus on the task at hand: the door. He wanted to be gentle with his lord, so forcing his way out was not an option. Instead, he bent his head down. "My lord, I need a moment to check the door."

Riku reacted to those words by tightening his grip. "No!" he groaned. "Don't ever leave me... zzz"

"I'm not- I just need a second, Nanase-sama." Gaku was getting desperate now that he heard another set of door knocks. Luckily or not, the knocks soon became louder and more frequent, waking Riku up from his state of half-consciousness.

Gaku had his favourite weapon ready in hand when he pulled the door open. Nagi did not flinch. He had probably gotten used to Gaku showing his sharp weapons everywhere. The faithful butler rolled his eyes when he saw that the person who knocked on the door was only the grumpy Mitsuki. "The hell do you want, Izumi?"

"Took a full minute for a so-called vigilant butler to get the door." The shortest guy put his hands on his waist. He raised his voice as soon as Gaku opened his mouth to argue. "There's an emergency."

Fortunately, everyone who was in the meeting yesterday chose to stay at the hotel during their world-saving mission. It only took a short time to call them all for an emergency meeting. They decided that it would be best to warn the residents of the two worlds about the possibility of another calamity occurring this time. This way, they hoped to save as many lives as possible. What they needed to do before the announcement was to have 'soldiers' ready for combat, white magic users for healing and protection, and some leaders for maintaining orders.

Riku, along with Mitsuki, made their way back to Majabah by riding on Tamaki's full-dragon-forme. He had told Gaku to remain in Silica with Nagi and Yamato. The Silican Regulator had to convince the panel of high-ranked scientists that the worlds were in danger if they wanted to put the plan into action. Gaku was there to ensure that any unexpected attacks did not come from Majabah, but from the Sky Realm, as his lord had no intention of starting a world war.

In Majabah, it was easy. The Sousukes and the Takanashis bowed their heads to their lord and heeded their new orders without question.

Before Riku left for Silica again, he looked at Yaotome Sousuke with a determined gaze. Mitsuki knew Riku was about to say something serious. He was right. Riku took out a sealed letter with the Nanase mark from his blazer pocket and gave it to Sousuke.

"Listen well, Sousuke. If anything were to happen to me, then it would mark the end of the Nanase. Should the worst happen, give this letter to your son directly." The lord turned around to face Takanashi Otoharu and Mitsuki, who were standing right next to Sousuke. "Otoharu and Mitsuki, you two are to be present when Gaku receives the letter."

There was no time to rest when Riku's party made their way back to Silica in the morning. Tamaki flew them to SkySilica for Riku and Nagi to make a major announcement that would be broadcast everywhere.

"We are ready to commence our plan." On the top floor, Nagi spoke to Riku with a serious expression.

"And so are we." Riku nodded. Together, they stepped forward to stand behind the mic. Gaku, Mitsuki, Iori, Tamaki, Tenn, Yuki, Momo, Ryuu, and Yamato sat at the long meeting table silently.

Nagi took a deep breath before he started. "People of Silica. This is your Regulator, Nagi Valhart Von Northmare."

"People of Majabah," Riku joined in. "Pay attention, for I am your lord, Nanase Riku."

Their voices were amplified to make sure every single person in the two worlds could hear them loud and clear, just like last time.

Nagi began his explanation. "As you are aware, both Silica and Majabah were faced with a sudden calamity recently. We could not begin to describe how terrible it was. Our team has been working closely with Majabah's, and we deeply regret to announce that there is a high possibility that such a tragic incident may happen again."

Several people gasped in shock. Many Silicans had a lot of faith in their Regulator because of Nagi's amazing talent profile, but also his genuineness. Nagi had managed to convey how serious he was to the Silicans, who were, by nature, not ready to believe everything they heard until they proved it to be right. Riku soon joined Nagi in explaining their procedures to people. In the end, the two assured their people that they would do their best to minimise the damage, or even better, prevent the calamity from happening.

Right after the announcement, Nagi opened passages to Silica's hidden underground passage, where people staying in Silica could take refuge should there be an attack. People in Majabah could take cover inside large natural stone caves. Majabahn fighters and healers, led by Otoharu and Sousuke, were divided and sent to patrol different places in both worlds. Trained Silican volunteers equipped with enhanced guns were also welcome to join the combat party. They were instructed to focus on protecting the people and themselves. After discussing the situation with Nagi in great detail, the authorities in Silica were in charge of monitoring and distributing supplies such as food, water, and medicine throughout both worlds.

Evacuation started. One at a time, a small group of people were escorted to the nearest sanctuaries in Majabah. In Silica, Majabahn fighters led people to the nearest entrance of the Underground Passage.

"Sou-chan is definitely coming," was what the dragon Tamaki said, which was why they were taking people to 'safer' places.

As idols, Yuki and Momo travelled to Majabah to perform for people making their way to cold places unlike home, hoping it would help ease their minds a little. Momo never let his smile drop. Yuki was also trying his absolute best.

Of course, Tenn was doing the same thing, but in Silica. He may be fairly new to showbiz, but he had fans. Some of them even called out to him, telling him to stay safe while making their way down the passage.

As for our 'combat' group, they gathered in Yamato's lab. The ones going to confront Sougo were Riku, Gaku, Tamaki, Nagi, and the Izumi brothers. While Tenn understood the need to have Riku as a lead, he was not happy. Earlier, he went to Gaku, asking the butler to let him cover for Riku so Riku would be less at risk.

However, Gaku said "No." Short and to the point. "You MUST stay safe." No matter how much Tenn protested, Gaku would say the same sentence back to Tenn. In the end, Tenn could only watch as Gaku turned his back on him and left. By now, he knew there had to be a reason for Gaku's insisting that he must stay behind. He just did not know what it was, and it made him feel uneasy.

Tenn was not the only one in an agitated state back then. By giving Mitsuki's permission to accompany him, Iori directed his built-up hatred towards Riku, bawling at the lord for using Mitsuki as a pawn. When Mitsuki defended his master, the youngest insisted that he would not let his big brother go without him. Mitsuki thought there was no reason for Iori to be exposed to more danger, so he was angry Iori would propose something so unreasonable. Mitsuki might not know magic, but the power of the Beastmaster could really help Tamaki in fighting, so he volunteered.

As for Nagi, he was not supernatural, but he was trained in various forms of martial arts and could fight at close range if needed. The Majabahns did not want to risk Silica's 'leader' life, so they asked Nagi to stay in the back as support. He would be equipped with small communication headphones and speakers to receive any warnings or instructions from the married couple observing the events from afar, Yamato and Ryuu.

Tamaki became tenser and tenser as he could feel Sougo's power growing stronger. By now, all people had been evacuated to designated places. Momo and Yuki remained hidden in Majabah's cave. Only Majabahn and Silican fighters were assigned to patrol the worlds.

"We need to move." Restless Tamaki transformed into his full-dragon-forme before turning to face the combat team. "Sou-chan will be there. I'm sure of it." He lifted his head towards the direction of Rainbow Hill, where the barrier used to be.

The Izumi brothers clearly reacted to that. Mitsuki swallowed hard. Iori clenched his fist for a short moment. They did not mean to show it. They just could not help when that place was the start of the calamity that almost tore them apart forever.

Tenn refused to just sit around, so he joined the communication team and did not let his eyes off the screen for a second. Ryuu, Yamato, and Tenn were stationed in the lab. They could see and hear the combat team thanks to Ryuu's newly built tracking camera.

Tamaki's restlessness refused to die down. Instead, it grew much stronger the closer they got to Rainbow Hill.

"GROOOOWWWLLLL." The dragon roared. He continued to soar with high speed through the sky, but his path became zigzagged when it was not supposed to be. He made a very sharp turn at one point, almost tipping everyone off. True, the dragon's body was large. That did not mean it was easy for everyone to find a place to hold on to.

"Oi, Tamaki! You've got passengers here." Mitsuki carefully crawled up Tamaki's neck and shouted. A good thing his mechanical leg was not holding him back from doing so.

"Nii-san, don't be reckless!" While not being able to let go of his hands, Iori cast object-manipulation magic to surround Mitsuki in case the guy fell off. Gaku was also using that magic to keep Riku and Nagi on the dragon's back.

"M-Mikki I don't feel good." Tamaki growled and spoke at the same time. "I'm going to crash."

"Wait, what? NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT!?!" Mitsuki panicked. They were now flying over Rainbow Hill, the hill made of rocks. The dragon showed no signs of decelerating, even when his body got closer and closer to the ground.

"SLOW DOWN WE ARE GONNA TURN INTO A METEORITE!" Mitsuki slapped Tamaki's neck, not that Tamaki felt anything from it.

Riku tried his best to concentrate on casting time magic on Tamaki to stop the dragon. He failed to do so as Tamaki was going down too fast.

Iori closed his eyes and screamed. "AHHHHHH!!!!" Nagi was not doing any better. "OH MAH GAHDDDDDDD!!!!"

"Shit, Ryuu, what do we do?" Yamato dropped his coffee while watching the events unfold from the lab. Ryuu did not answer, or could not. His face showed nothing but fear. "Izumi!" Tenn ran towards the screen, pushing Yamato out of the way, causing the older man to fall to the ground along with his chair. He grabbed the mic on the table, but before he could say anything...

*CRASH*

Anyway, sorry for leaving you lovely ppl for so long without updates. I can't seem to get back into writing flow yet. BUT hey, Sougo is definitely making his appearance in the next chapter! I wonder how things will turn out ehehehe~
