12 - The Crew
[APHMAU]
It's been an hour since breakfast and now I'm showing Sky around Pheonix Drop. He's been real energetic, which he usually is but it's still surprising considering his injuries.
I walked him over to the guard tower, noticing everyone was either in the plaza or in their houses except my guards, Garroth checking around and Dante and Laurence in the tower.
"Come on. Dante and Laurence are up there. They're my guards, Dante being a blue haired goof and Laurence a major casanova."
Sky just smiled at me and said, "If he ever flirts with you to much," I could see his eyes glow a little brighter but then dull again, "you know what's gonna happen."
I smiled and shook my head before climbing the ladder up to the top. Dante was just lazing around while Laurence was doing something. I should really pay attention to the little stuff more.
"Hey guys!" I exclaimed.
"Hey Aph!" Dante said, finally heeding my advice that he should just call me Aph or Aphmau like pretty much everyone else.
"Who's he?" Dante continued questionably.
"I'm Sky, Aph's friend, blah blah, I already explained this to Zoey!" He smiled at the end, hinting off his playfulness. I noticed that Laurence now had his full attention on Sky, his eyes now fading into a dark red.
I guessed he could tell that Sky was the son of Herobrine, the most feared God in all of the universes, even feared by the Shadow Lord himself. Most likely from his Shadow Knight powers and being able to tell if they have dark magicks and if so what kind.
Laurence gave Sky a shady look before his eyes went back to normal. "Why don't you go introduce him to the village Aphmau?"
"Sure! See you guys later!" I acted like I didn't catch the way he looked at Sky even though I did. Huh. I guess I do pay attention.
Sky and I went back outside where I led him to Lucinda's house, one of the places where Sky would actually be understood for being born into an evil family and judged for it, as Lucinda is a witch, and most witches are considered evil even though they aren't.
I did the usual parkour, and once on the other side called out for Sky to do it.
"But what if I fall? What if they disappear? What if--"
"Oh my Irene Sky just do the parkour!" I yelled while laughing.
I saw a white glow outline him and then a white silhoutte appear next to me before he teleported.
"Seriously bruh?" I asked.
"Yup."
I just sighed and knocked on Lucinda's door. She opened it and I walked in even though she didn't say I was allowed.
She just shook her head and motioned for Sky to come in.
"Oh!" I said. "This is Sky, my friend. You already know my past, and this is one of the people in the group."
Lucinda nodded and smiled at Sky. "Nice to meet you. Aphmau has told me much about you."
"Well, I am quite the famous person," Sky responded.
"No you're not," I said, stifling a laugh.
"Rude," he said.
I sighed. "You two can talk about magicks and stuff if you want but I'm gonna see if I could find Garroth."
"Okay. Come on Sky, my familiar, Bigglesworth, is upstairs."
Sky chased after her as she basically teleported and I just shook my head and walked out her door before doing the parkour again and walking around the village trying to find Garroth.
~~~
"So, this 'Sky' person is a friend of yours from a few days before you came to Phoenix Drop, as well as the group he was in?" Garroth asked me, pretty much summing up what I told him.
"Yeah. Sorry I never told you or anyone else before, it's just that after all that happened I was worried he and everyone else had got injured or...or worse."
"Hey, don't think of that. You're a good lord and only want what's best for your friends, family, or even some people you don't even know! Remember what you did to village when you just arrived."
I chuckled a little and shifted on my feet. "Yeah. Thanks for understanding Garroth."
"No problem! When can I meet him? He sounds like a nice guy."
"He's actually talking to Lucinda right now. Depends on when they're finished."
"Okay. I'll just finish checking the walls for any holes or anything that needs to be fixed and I'll get back to you."
"Thanks Garroth. For listening, I mean, without saying all of that 'Why didn't you tell me' crap."
Garroth chuckled and replied, "No problem. What type of guard would I be if I didn't listen to my lord."
"A terrible guard." I looked back up at him. "Well, I've gotta go. By now, Sky and Lucinda can be planning world destruction."
Garroth chuckled. "Bye then," he said and walked off.
It's now the next day and I just woke up to Sky jumping on my bed, right next to my legs to be more specific. I already introduced him to everybody and they all had pretty much the same reaction, other than Kawaii~Chan who baked him one of her cakes, which is why Dragon~Sama disincluded it from the chapter. He also started planning pranks on the Crew when we find them with Satiel and I.
"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" He whisper-yelled-whined like a small child.
In response I just threw one of my pillows at him and snuggled deeper into my other pillows.
"Fine. I'll just search for the Crew myself."
This immediately got me to sit straight up. "Okay, what's your plan?"
"First, brush your hair, it's really messy. Second, it's three in the morning so we have plenty of time before everyone wakes up. Your guards are the earliest to wake and they wake up at seven, right?"
I nodded my head and slid off the bed, a little to tired to talk a lot but waking up quick from the adrenaline.
"Satiel's coming with us. He's already awake and getting some food and water prepared for if we're out to long and some medical supplies for if one of us is injured or if one of them is injured."
I stood up and nodded my head, half listening half planning pranks on Jin and thinking of other pranks to do with Latro and Jax.
I walked out of my room and into the bathroom, noticing I still hadn't changed out of the clothes Mom gave to me.
I got ready and walked downstairs, seeing Satiel and Sky talking to each other about random crap. Again, I should really pay attention more. If you're wondering how they know each other is because of the stories I told and of how much they're alike, and because Satiel and Castor are brothers.
Satiel had a messenger bag slung over his shoulder that I noticed wasn't full enough to weigh him down but full enough to at least weigh a pound.
"Guys, can we go ahead and go? The sooner we find them the sooner I can get back and get some sleep." I shot a glare towards Sky, who just shrugged innocently.
~~~
We were walking through the short foilage of the forest, searching for the campsite Sky claimed was near, and I really hoped was because we've been out for a WHOLE FRICKING HOUR.
"Here it is, just up ahead. See the fire?" Sky whispered.
I looked where he was pointing and saw an orange and red flame flickering blurrily in the distance, to be fair probably created by magicks seen as pretty much the whole group is to lazy to learn how to make one or to actually make one.
"Well then come on!" Satiel exclaimed happily and started making his way, most likely wanting to see his little sisters. I followed him, while Sky rolled his eyes and trailed after us.
When we reached the camp I saw it was well covered, in a cave more specifically. It was a large cave, fitting for our large group.
The entire group consisted of my siblings, Raven, Malli, Jupiter, Mercury, the original gang, Shelby who was Ross's younger sister (I know, in real life they're not), and then me.
"The inside looks just like a large home, the outside made to look like a cave so most people wouldn't think anything's in there," Sky explained for us.
I studied the envirenment, noticing the sound of a brook or waterfall nearby. Dew was sparkling on the grass from the light the moon gave off, making me wonder if it rained yet again last night.
"I don't know if everyone's here since I've been gone a day, but is it okay if I go in alone for a few moments to make sure they know I'm here?" Sky asked. "I mean, since I'm the most familiar one with them and all."
Satiel nodded, the spark in his eyes lighting up even more.
"Sure. I don't mind," I told him, watching as he excitedly ran into the cave. A faint white glow was surrounding the entrance just after he entered, and that's when I noticed the cave was pitch black, not even able to make out the glow of Adam's eyes nor of the flame I once saw before.
"Well Aph, are you ready to see the Crew again?" Satiel asked me, a happy smile on his face.

Hello! Yes, I know I'm taking a lot of breaks but with the things going on in my life and...it's just tough.
I'm trying my best to keep up with everything but I've been having writer's block. The only difference is that I have ideas I'm just afraid you guys might not like it.
I'm gonna let all of you post ideas for future chapters in the comments and I'll try to add as many as I can after I do the chapter where they really meet everyone, and then three flashback chapters, then a spree of your ideas.
So if you wanna see anything specific happen, comment below! I'll try to keep up with my schedule, but again with everything going on it's rough.
I'll post another chapter later for today's since I forgot one yesterday.
That's all! Bai!
~Dragon
Fact of the chapter : When you receive a major electric shock, it's not the electricity that throws you across the room, it's the force of your muscles contracting. Basically, you're strong enough to instantly throw yourself across a room.
