It was a typical Friday night for Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow as they were currently having a gaming session. The game they were playing was Genshin Impact, the popular mobile/console game with just about the most temperamental gacha system ever conceived by humans. Right now, they were in the middle of a literally heated battle with the Pyro Regisvine. Nintega's team consisted of Kaeya, Rosaria, Xiangling, and Bennett. Jordan's team had Beidou, Tighnari, Yanfei, and Barbara. And finally, Shadow's team had a roster of Noelle, Diona, Keqing, and Ganyu. Shadow's Noelle took a hit from the Regisvine as he tried to recover the best he could.

Shadowlight2784: This hot headed ficus doesn't know when to quit! Can it just leave life already so we can move on with ours?!

He shouted as he switched to Diona and took some Cryo laced shots of her bow at its weak spot. When it was down, Jordan's Tighnari went in and threw one of his Dendro grenades at the head, dealing some Dendro damage before switching to his Beidou and slamming it with Electro to get the quicken stipulation.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I'm gonna make diced celery out of your trunk, so just hold still, will ya?!

Jordan got a little over zealous though as he tried doing more damage. This made him stand around for too long and it gave the Regisvine a chance to recover as it hit him hard with a swing of its head, knocking off a third of his health. Nintega's Bennet then came in and healed his friend's character.

TheNintegaGuy: I know you're eager, Jordan, but don't get cocky! Keep your focus!

Jordanwolfboy9743: R-Right, sorry!

He replied. The trio headed to all sides of the fiery plant in an effort to divert its attention. Shadow went in with another set of ice arrows and unleashed them upon their foe, stunning it yet again and allowing them to chip away at its health. Further and further down, the monster's health plummeted until it reached the end as the fiery plant beast writhed for a second before slamming to the ground and fading away. The Ley Line plant grew in its place as the three friends cheered in glorious victory.

TheNintegaGuy: Yeah, we did it!

Jordanwolfboy9743: Down goes another flame boi!

Shadowlight2784: Another Regisvine bites the dust!

When the cheering ceased, Jordan went up to the Ley Line plant and spent the necessary amount of Original Resin to unlock it, giving him the rewards. Although, it seemed that their celebration may have been done just a little too early for Jordan had indeed received some Everflame Seed, but...

Jordanwolfboy9743: *groans* Are you kidding me!?

TheNintegaGuy: What's wrong, Jordan?

Shadowlight2784: *sigh* Let me guess... you're still one below the required total, aren't you?

Jordanwolfboy9743: Yep! What is with the randomness in being nice sometimes, but mean every other time?!

TheNintegaGuy: *sigh* That's the gacha system for you. Highly rewarding sometimes, and... extremely hateful in others.

Shadowlight2784: I feel that.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *sigh* Guess that means we're coming back here again.

TheNintegaGuy: Wait... how much resin do we have left...?

A quick check was spent for a second as the boys looked at how much resin they had left... only to find that they had just a little under twenty left.

TheNintegaGuy & Shadowlight2784 & Jordanwolfboy9743: *loud groan*

Jordanwolfboy9743: Why does this game hate us so much?! We have to spend resin just for the reward!

TheNintegaGuy: The worst part is that all of what you can earn from these rewards is totally random! Things would be much easier if it was just a set amount of what we get! Especially since it gets harder and harder to raise our Adventure Ranks!

Shadowlight2784: You guys seriously expect that from a free2play of all games? I mean, they'll gladly give it to you...for a hefty price. Just... just look at how much I spent on My Singing Monsters.

He looks away in shame at the memory.

Jordanwolfboy9743: He's got a point. Oh well. I guess it's back to Mondstadt then. I think I leveled up my Adventure Rank finally.

TheNintegaGuy: You're so close to being able to ascend your characters to go all the way up to Level 90. I mean just getting to Adventure Rank 45 or 50 is a huge accomplishment in itself.

Shadowlight2784: *nervous chuckle* Y-Yeah, I mean... *mumbles* I haven't even gotten to Rank 25 yet...

TheNintegaGuy: *smirks* Although, the huge accomplishment that I'm waiting for is to FINALLY achieve getting my number one favorite character! Even if it kills me!

Jordan smirks and leans forward on his desk.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hmm, I can see why she's your favorite. I mean, who wouldn't love a booty that legendary~?

Nintega's face turned red which made the other two laugh at his reaction.

TheNintegaGuy: Dude!! Do you have to put my mind in the gutter EVERYTIME I mention her?!?

Shadowlight2784: I mean...he ain't wrong, though. (God, I hope she's not around to hear that.)

Nintega puts both of his hands in his face in complete embarrassment.

TheNintegaGuy: I swear... you guys are going to be the complete end of my dignity one day...

Jordanwolfboy9743: Oh, come on, pal. Deep down, we've all got our type of girl that we simp for.

Shadowlight2784: Man, you're gonna get me killed if you keep saying stuff like that!

TheNintegaGuy: And for the last time... I am NOT a simp!!

Jordanwolfboy9743: The thing is... only a SIMP would say that!

Shadowlight2784: Got you there, pal.

Nintega rolls his eyes from his friends teasing him before he stands up and he conjures up his signature keyblade as he pointed it up in the air to try and look heroic.

TheNintegaGuy: Look, disregarding who is a simp and who is not. Teyvat is undoubtedly a legendary world filled with unlimited possibilities and such great people. I mean it's no wonder either Aether or Lumine got transported to a world like that and became the greatest adventurers that the world has ever seen.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I see what you mean. Aside from all of those gripes from before, this game's got everything: a colorful, expansive world, magic, diverse enemies, and-

Shadowlight2784: A whole plethora of anime girls to swoon?!

Jordan stares back at him.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I... was gonna say grand adventures.

Shadowlight2784: Yeah, that's what I said, "anime girls".

Jordan and Nintega glance at each other for a moment, and then turn back to Shadow with a puzzled expression.

Shadowlight2784: Come on...don't act like you guys weren't thinking it too. Especially that Mona–

TheNintegaGuy: *blushes* STOP TALKING!! And stop trying to prove that I'm a simp for her! She's my favorite character! Nothing more, nothing less!

Shadowlight2784: You know, I wonder how she manages to walk around with that. I mean, it must be a lot to carry...

Jordanwolfboy9743: And can you imagine how tight her outfit must be in order to contain such a thing as that? It must be rough for her.

Shadowlight2784: How much you wanna bet it tears through the outfit's fabric on occasion? I mean, she's probably had to buy dozens upon dozens of new outfits because of it. It's astounding how she manages it...

Jordanwolfboy9743: That probably explains why she's so broke and also has a bit of a small bust. All of it must go to her-

TheNintegaGuy: ENOUGH! You guys are perverts! There is NO way that I would ever think that in a century and besides, she's not the one character that I think about daily when I have to explore Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru! Besides, if you really want to know so badly then we would have to travel into Teyvat ourselves for some answers!

Nintega says that... but something completely unexpected happens as his keyblade started shaking in his hand which confused him. It then began to shake a lot more vigorously on his arm as his eyes widen and he grabs the handle in complete shock as he has experienced with it so many times that he knows what it's about to do.

TheNintegaGuy: No... No! No, no, no! Not now! I didn't mean it literally!

The keyblade then forced Nintega to point towards his screen to which Shadow and Jordan see with widened eyes as well.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Uhh... is it... supposed to do that?

He asked with concern growing in his gut. Nintega tries to pull his keyblade back, but it fires a laser of light towards the screen and suddenly all of the characters that were currently on screen disappeared into thin air and from all perspectives, Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow's screens turned bright white as they all shield their eyes from the brightness.

Shadowlight2784: Aah! It's like Discord Light Mode all over again...

TheNintegaGuy: I think it's much worse than that! Everybody brace yourselves!!

Shadowlight2784: Wait, what?! Is it gonna explode?!

TheNintegaGuy: Not exactly!

Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow then all got covered in complete light from top to bottom before they were each pulled into their own screen.

Nintega was the first to be seen in a completely cyan blue wormhole and he looked to be falling from a huge height. It wasn't even a minute after as Jordan and Shadow quickly appeared with him as well as they were all screaming from how fast they were falling. When they noticed each other, they all looked at each other for a second before hugging each other tightly screaming from the huge fall as they don't know if they were about to plunge to their death or anything worse... Wait, is there anything worse than death?

Shadowlight2784: Did...we enter cyberspace?!

Jordanwolfboy9743: I think we just got Matrixed!

Shadowlight2784: Matrixed?! HELP US MR. ANDERSON!!

TheNintegaGuy: Actually, we've experienced enough situations to know... WE'RE GETTING ISEKAI'D!!

They all continued screaming as they had no idea where they were about to end up, but it turns out that this endless void may not be so endless as the other end appears to have shown a sandy beach down below.

Suddenly, the sky opens a portal and launches out our trio as they go skyrocketing towards the surface like meteors and brace for the heavy impact that was about to await them. However, they were lucky enough to be aiming towards the water as they finally made contact with the other side of the world, their landing made a huge splash to the point where it looked like an explosion of water.

When the water died down, each of the boys quickly ended up being washed up to shore as they were all laying flat on their faces before Nintega slowly raises his head up with an irritated look, Shadow grasps his head while groaning, and Jordan's eyes with swirling with stars circling around his head.

TheNintegaGuy: Note to self... Find a way to destroy my freakin' keyblade that has the mind of a stray dog...

Jordanwolfboy9743: *dizzy* N-No, no, I want ice cream before dinner, mommy!

Shadow slaps the top of the blue boy's head, snapping him from his daze.

Jordanwolfboy9743: W-W-Wha?! What happened?! Are we dead yet?! Is this heaven?

Shadowlight2784: Yep. Guess so. Weird. I was told there's some kind of gate system you have to go through before entering heaven. Also...it's a lot less cloudy than I thought it would be.

Nintega then slowly gets up while groaning before raising a hand.

TheNintegaGuy: *groans* No worries, guys... I'll summon my keyblade again, imagine us back home, and we can forget this event even happened...

Nintega says that as he sticks his hand out hoping to summon out his keyblade... However, all that came out was thin air which made him raise an eyebrow.

TheNintegaGuy: Okay, "key to the heart". I know you like to play games with me, but now is NOT the time to be stingy!

Nintega tries to summon it again... Nothing still happened which made him facepalm in frustration.

TheNintegaGuy: *sarcastically* Great... So now we're trapped in another dimension "again". This time with no way out at all!

Shadowlight2784: Well, this is heaven, and we're dead, so...guess there's not really a way to escape the afterlife, even with a keyblade.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Uhh... Shad? I... don't think this is heaven.

He gestures to their surroundings. Slowly, they realize that they were at a beach next to a tall, rocky cliff that overlooked the whole area.

Jordanwolfboy9743: In fact... I'm pretty sure I recognize this place. Doesn't it seem... familiar to either of you?

He asked his friends who looked around in puzzlement.

Shadowlight2784: Hmmm...Oh, I know! I think this is that island from Castaway!

Nintega and Jordan deadpan at Shadow's random guess before Nintega takes a closer look at where they are and the more that he does, his eyes widen in shock and his mouth fell open too.

TheNintegaGuy: The answer to that question is neither... There's... There's no possible way...

Nintega then looks over at a familiar looking rock formation and he pictures two people talking over there and when his imagination fades out, he quickly runs ahead with the other two following right behind him. He stopped once he made it to the rock formation and sure enough, when he got a good look, it all came right back to him.

TheNintegaGuy: Or... maybe... Shadow was right about being in heaven... or should I say a "type" of heaven...

Jordanwolfboy9743: Uhh... could you maybe clarify what that means exactly? I think I'm still light headed from the impact.

Shadowlight2784: Sooooooo...we are dead?

He asked, raising an eyebrow to which Nintega sighs, shakes his head, and turns to face him.

TheNintegaGuy: No, numbnuts! This... is Teyvat! My Keyblade transported us into the game!

Shadowlight2784: Wait, into the game?! This...this is something straight out of Jumanji!

Jordanwolfboy9743: Or something straight out of Sword Art Online. You think... if we die here, we die in real life too? I mean... do we even have a respawn? C-Can we respawn?!

Nintega sweats from that question with an extremely nervous look on his face.

TheNintegaGuy: I-I don't even want to think about that this early... especially considering what enemies this world even has in the first place.

Shadowlight2784: You think it's possible to drown in this ocean here? I mean, if this whole world is a game, it must be made of binary code, right?

Jordan reaches down and picks up some sand as it pours from his palm and onto the ground.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I don't know. The sand feels pretty real to me. I doubt that this is some kind of simulation.

Shadowlight2784: But we came here through our computer screens, right? Surely, there must be some kind of technical aspect to this world.

Nintega then puts a hand on his chin while looking at the rock formation once more.

TheNintegaGuy: Though something bothers me... At the beginning, you're supposed to see either Aether or Lumine along with Paimon here, but they're nowhere to be found in sight.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Is it possible that they're already ahead of us and we just don't know it?

TheNintegaGuy: Only one way to find out. Let's go.

Nintega walks forward into the forest with Jordan and Shadow following right behind him. Along the way, all three of them couldn't help but sightsee at how beautiful the forest looks close up in their eyes.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Woah. This looks... way bigger than it does in the game. I'm... kind of overwhelmed, to be honest.

Shadowlight2784: You know, that got me thinking. The time in-game is vastly different from the real world, isn't it? You think that means we'll go through a month in just a few hours?

TheNintegaGuy: There are tons of questions that could be asked as I've been dimension traveling before with Soejammy and Kitty, but every dimension out there is just way different from the last one. We may not know what to expect from this one either.

Jordanwolfboy9743: That... also made me realize something else.

TheNintegaGuy: What's that?

Jordanwolfboy9743: Well... you know how Paimon hangs out with us back home? What if... the Paimon here... is a different Paimon? If that's the case, she might not recognize us, or any of the other characters for that matter that we've come to know... and love.

He slumped slightly at the thought. Nintega wonders about that possibility too, but he just smiles.

TheNintegaGuy: Maybe so, but we still know Paimon well and I feel like that even if she doesn't recognize any of us, we'll still get along as best traveling buddies and backup emergency food.

His response managed to cheer up Jordan as he snickered.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Yep, that's a fact that'll never go away. So... what's our plan here exactly? If your Keyblade's out of commission, how are we gonna get home?

TheNintegaGuy: Let's just get to Mondstadt for now. There's no telling what or who we'll run into out here when us three have way better knowledge of what happens in the game than the people who actually exist in the game.

Shadowlight2784: Would it be a bad idea to discuss with them about our knowledge directly?

TheNintegaGuy: Oh, major! Jammy and Kitty told me that they were lucky to even keep the information away when they were traveling with Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Let's just keep things a secret for now and if they find out the truth, then so be it.

Jordan suddenly gets a thought and he momentarily stops which gets the attention of his friends who stop too.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hmm... I wonder... the characters in the game seemed to have spawned their weapons from seemingly nowhere. So... could that...

He reaches out a hand to his side and does a swiping motion similar to summoning a Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts and out of the blue, a simple silver sword appears in his grip, startling both him and his friends.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Woah! Check me out!

Nintega's jaw drops before he looks at his hand in irritation.

TheNintegaGuy: *sarcastically* Great... So I'm limited to simple weapons now and my keyblade is somehow locked out of my grasp... Come on!

He shakes his hand hoping to summon it out one more time... and instead he conjures up a Hunter's Bow instead which made him get a shocked look.

TheNintegaGuy: *groans* It'll have to do for now...

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hey Shadow, you try it!

Shadow looks at his hand skeptically at first, but he tries the trick anyway as sure enough, a claymore appears in his hands, surprising him.

Shadowlight2784: Whoa...was this thing in my blood the whole time?

Nintega finds himself facepalming yet again as his irritation only grows.

TheNintegaGuy: You've CLEARLY got a lot to learn on how summoning even functions...

He said as he walks ahead, but as he does, he looks far out into the distance and his eyes widen while Jordan spoke right behind him.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Look at it this way, Nintega. You might not have your Keyblade, but at least we're not defenseless. Now, we can-

Nintega quickly shushes Jordan as he lowers to his knees while looking ahead.

TheNintegaGuy: Shh!

He pulls both Jordan and Shadow down before he silently points ahead to signal them to look in that direction. They did so and they saw what Nintega spotted. Not only did they see one of the Statues of the Seven, but there were two figures over by it. Both of which were female and one was the guys' size and the other was a tiny floating girl. All three of them didn't need much convincing on who it was they were watching, in fact, they were sure of it.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* So, I was right! They were ahead of us!

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Okay, we don't want to alarm them, so no one make any sudden moves.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* What... exactly classifies as a "sudden" move?

Nintega knew that Shadow had a point there as he just facepalms before deadpanning up ahead.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Just don't do anything weird...

All three of them slowly made their way towards the two females who were speaking to each other as they were being careful to not draw any sort of attention to themselves while they were making their way towards the statue. As they got closer, they can clearly see now a female about their age with blond hair, fiery-gold eyes, and pale skin. The tiny girl meanwhile had shoulder length, white colored hair, deep purple eyes, and the same colored pale skin. The taller girl wore a baby blue and white dress similar to that of a kimono along with a set of long thigh high boots. She also wore two white flowers in her hair as well as two white feathers. The smaller girl wore a long-sleeved white jumper and a night-blue cape flecked with stars, and white stockings with white boots. Rose-gold embroidery and shapes were attached to her jumper, boots, and sleeves. A rose-gold tiara also levitated above her head as though it were a halo.

All three of them listened closely as they could make out a faint noise of the conversation that they were having.

Paimon: Seems all you had to do was touch the statue and you got the power of Anemo! As much as they may want it, people in this world can never get a hold of powers as easily as you...

Lumine: Hmm... this... can't be a good thing.

Paimon: It's a bit rude to say that about the power the gods just gave you!

Lumine: R-Right, sorry. It's just... power can be a fickle thing to have. If people are intimidated by it, sometimes... they'll want it.

Paimon: Hmm... Paimon gets it.

She hovers around to face the direction in which Mondstadt resided.

Paimon: Anyways, if we keep heading west from here, we'll eventually reach Mondstadt, the City of Freedom! Mondstadt is the city of wind because they worship the God of Anemo. So perhaps, because you got power from the God of Anemo, you can find some clues there.

She then brings a tiny hand to her tiny chin.

Paimon: There are also lots of bards there, so perhaps one of them has heard news about your brother.

Lumine: It's the only lead we've got, so we may as well start there.

Paimon smiles and nods.

Paimon: Let's move then! The elements in this world responded to your prayers and Paimon thinks that's a lovely sign.

Lumine nods in agreement before heading to the back of the statue and diving into the water with an audible splash. Back with our trio of protagonists, Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow finally pop out of their hiding place.

TheNintegaGuy: Eh, she says that. But we have power that others can't get a hold of easily too... We're just locked out of those at the moment.

Seeing the coast was clear, they all stepped out and made their way towards the Statue of the Seven through the water and as they step right in front of it, they each look up at the statue with interest.

TheNintegaGuy: Lumine can get any element she wants since she doesn't need a Vision to activate the power of the elements... Though we don't use Visions either.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I guess... there's only one way to find out. Try touching it, Nintega.

Nintega takes a deep breath before reaching his hand out on the Statue of the Seven and when his palm makes contact with it... A strange lime green energy travels through his arm and slowly makes it's way towards Nintega as his eyes glow green for a split second and his hair flows in the wind too before the power died down just as quickly.

Nintega steps back and looks at himself seeing that he was perfectly normal which meant that his hypothesis was correct.

TheNintegaGuy: *smiles* Well, at least I'll have something to work with besides that annoying keyblade.

Jordan stepped up next as he placed his hand on the same place as Nintega before the same result occurred as well. A lime green light travels up Jordan's arm, his eyes glow green, and his hair flutters in the breeze.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Woah... I feel like I'm... at least fifty pounds lighter than I was before. You're up, Shadow.

Shadow steps up as he too had the same thing happen to him. He takes a few steps back while staring at his hand.

Shadowlight2784: Is... Is this what it's like to be high?

When he finishes that sentence, Nintega facepalms with a tick mark appearing on his head.

TheNintegaGuy: Just use the power of the wind wisely.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hmm, could it be possible?

He brings his hand up and starts to focus. His eyes flash green and a ball of wind suddenly manifests in his palm.

TheNintegaGuy: Jordan, what are you-

Jordanwolfboy9743: Shh! I must relive my childhood, if you don't mind.

Jordan focuses more and the ball grows larger until it's about the size of a slightly larger basketball. He throws it down at his feet and jumps onto it, making solid contact with it. He then pushes his body forward and the ball carries him ahead almost like a segway. The blue boy laughs as he rapidly circles his friends while laughing.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Look at me, guys! I'm Aang from Avatar: The Last Ai- OOF!!

Just like a certain bald headed kid did, Jordan didn't pay attention to where he was going and smacked straight into the Statue of the Seven and fell to the floor with a comical thud, causing both Nintega and Shadow to cringe from imagining the pain their friend felt.

Shadowlight2784: I, uh... hope health insurance is a thing around here.

Nintega walks over to Jordan and quickly extends a hand out to help his friend up to his feet.

TheNintegaGuy: We may be experts at the game... but I have a strong feeling that it does not mean that this will be easy. *smiles* But where's the fun in that?

As Nintega says this, all three of them heard a huge roar up in the sky as they quickly looked upwards to see a large cyan dragon fly by them. The size that it was compared to them almost intimidated them as it flew towards the center of the forest.

TheNintegaGuy: Dvalin... Or has he's known across Mondstadt... Stormterror.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Is... Is it too late for us to turn back? I feel like turning back suddenly.

TheNintegaGuy: *sigh* Turn back to where exactly, Jordan? If you haven't been paying attention, my Keyblade's being very temperamental right now.

Shadowlight2784: Don't know if I should feel scared, confused, somewhat concerned, or...?

Nintega quickly covered his mouth as unlike his two friends, he looks to be feeling a lot more energetic while wearing a smirk on his face.

TheNintegaGuy: None of the above! Come on! When will you get the opportunity again to see... and battle something that big?! We're chasing it down!

Nintega then recklessly runs ahead once more with both of his friends surprised at this impulsive decision.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I'm starting to think the thrill of being in a game world is getting to him.

Shadowlight2784: Yeah, I mean, there's absolutely no way I'm going near that thing.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Well, let's just go and make sure that Nintega doesn't end up as dragon chow. Come on!

He sprints after Nintega as well, leaving Shadow behind for a brief moment.

Shadowlight2784: (How do we always end up in these situations...?)

He reluctantly follows his pals as they head into the woods. They arrive at a dirt road that leads directly through the thicket as Nintega eventually slowed down, giving his friends a chance to catch up.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Dude, if we get chopped into minced meat by this thing, I'm blaming you!

TheNintegaGuy: Quiet! Look!

He points ahead to show them that they see Lumine and Paimon hiding behind a tree, but that wasn't all... They see the dragon with another young male with dark blue hair that bordered on black with short double braids that faded to aqua at the ends. He wore a white ruffled top with a leather corset-like midsection, teal shorts with gold embroidery, and a matching teal cape tied with a deep blue and gold bow. He also wore white stockings with three gold diamonds on each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia flower.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* Oh hey, it's Venti, or as he's also known, Anemo God Barbatos.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Yeah, but the people of Mondstadt don't know that... though it's probably for the best as who would even believe him?

Nintega says this until they all witness Venti interacting with Dvalin as the dragon seems calm with him around.

Venti: ...Don't be afraid. It's alright now, I'm back.

The three of them then heard Paimon speak.

Paimon: Is he talking... to a dragon?

Suddenly, light shines on Lumine along with the three boys surprising them as this causes Dvalin to roar loudly at Venti as he even almost took a swipe at him. Venti jumps back in the nick of time before looking around the area with huge alert.

Venti: Who's there?

Dvalin then roars once more quickly raising himself off of the ground and Venti disappears just as quickly too. With them alone now, Lumine stepped into the clearing as they asked what they just witnessed.

Paimon: That was close! Paimon almost got blown away!

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* If only... *snickers*

He receives a hard elbow to the gut from Nintega to keep quiet as Lumine speaks now.

Lumine: It's a good thing you grabbed onto me.

Paimon: Yeah. Thanks for that.

Lumine breathes a sigh of relief, bringing a hand to her heart.

Lumine: It's good that the dragon didn't notice us. I can't imagine what we would have done if we were caught by it.

Paimon: Paimon agrees. Hmm, that weirdo that was talking to the dragon was awfully suspicious.

Lumine: Answer this for me. Is... talking to dragons considered normal for this world?

Paimon: *sigh* Of course not.

TheNintegaGuy: (We know talking ponies, hedgehogs, raccoons, and lots more... I'm sure talking to a dragon isn't a surprise to me or any of us at this point.)

A bright red glow from the top of a nearby rock formation drew the attention of Lumine and Paimon as they turned to it.

Paimon: Oh? What's that? There's some kind of shiny red thingy on the big rock over there! Let's go take a closer look!

She urges, flying ahead before Lumine follows.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* *sigh* Nintega, are you sure that we can't just talk to them? I don't think we're getting anywhere with all this sneaking around.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* I wouldn't call it, "sneaking around". We're all just following them witnessing every event that we all already know except they don't know that we're here.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* So...we are sneaking around, then?

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Why must you guys take out the fun in this?

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* I'm just saying, if we want to get home quicker, we might as well enlist the help of the people here and being stealthy won't get us anywhere. Look, since you're too scared to do it, I'll be the first.

He starts walking towards the girls as Nintega tried to call to him.

TheNintegaGuy: *whispers* It's called, "playing it safe", Jordan! Maybe if we just listen... WE'LL KNOW!

Nintega said that a little too loud as he quickly covered his mouth and Jordan freezes upon the loud yell that Nintega just made too. Seeing how quiet the forest was already, it was enough to grab the attention of Lumine and Paimon as they look over in their direction. Jordan and Shadow annoyingly glance at Nintega who sheepishly smiles at his impatience.

Lumine: I-Is... is someone there?

Paimon: Come on out and show yourselves!

She demanded, putting her fists on her hips while trying to act authoritative which only came off as adorable.

Shadowlight2784: *whispers* Okay, don't move. They cannot see us...if we don't move..

TheNintegaGuy: *whispers* Right! Blend in!

All three of them stood up and took different positions to try and look like statues... but they were failing quite miserably. Lumine approaches them and tilts her head in confusion.

Lumine: U-Um... is... this some kind of game you guys are playing?

The three boys' heads sweated profusely as they tried to keep up their statue facades, but seeing as how Lumine wasn't going anywhere, they eventually gave up and sighed simultaneously.

Jordanwolfboy9743: So much for that...

Shadowlight2784: Well, it worked in Jurassic Park...

TheNintegaGuy: Good grief... That was embarrassing...

Paimon: Just who are you guys and why were you spying on us, hmmm?

She got in their faces with a raised eyebrow. It had seemed that Jordan's suspicions were correct as Paimon hadn't recognized him when she saw him.

TheNintegaGuy: I mean I wouldn't call it "spying." We were all just hanging out looking at the enormous dragon together, only we were the ones watching you guys and the whole thing unraveled and you didn't know we were there.

He says this with a bright smile on his face.

Shadowlight2784: We're shooting a nature documentary.

Paimon: That so, huh? Then, where are the cameras?

Shadowlight2784: If I told you, it wouldn't be a documentary anymore.

Paimon: Hmm... fair point.

Jordan sighed before stepping forward.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Look, if we gave you girls a scare, we're sorry. We couldn't help but overhear you two. You said you were looking for your brother, right?

He asked, pretending to play dumb. Lumine nods.

Lumine: I am. You... wouldn't happen to have seen him, have you? He's a bit taller than me, has the same eye and hair color, and he wears orange and black.

TheNintegaGuy: Sorry, L- I-I mean, Miss, but we haven't seen anyone like that.

He cursed himself for almost saying her name out loud.

Shadowlight2784: Wait, her brother? Isn't that–?

Both Jordan and Nintega gave Shadow looks with flames in their eyes to tell him that he will indeed regret spilling out any more beans than he already has.

Shadowlight2784: U-Uh...I may have been thinking of the wrong guy. Heh heh...

He rubs the back of his neck, sheepishly. Lumine however gets a downtrodden look as she must've gotten her hopes up too soon.

Lumine: I... I see. Thank you for your time.

She thanked them sadly as she was just about to turn and leave.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Wait, hold on a second.

She spins her head and peers back at him in surprise as he turned to his buddies and brought them close in a huddle.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* Guys, I just had a thought! It may be possible that if we help her find Aether, we might be able to go back home!

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* How do you figure?

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* Well, think about it. It's the overlaying goal of the game, right? If we reunite them, the game might end and boom! Back to our world we go!

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Well... I can't conjure up my Keyblade, so that's our next best option. We may not even have a choice either considering this whole story revolves around her.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Wait, so then...she's the one with the overbearing plot armor?

Nintega then realizes what Shadow just said along with himself.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Maaaaybe... Wait! Does this count as breaking the fourth wall?

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Dude, we came from the fourth wall; I doubt there's anything left of it.

All three of them look towards the camera for a second before glancing back at each other.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Let's just... pretend that we never asked that question...

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* Agreed. So... you guys in on this plan?

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Well, unless we find another way out of here, this is our best bet.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* *smiles* I'm not one to say no when it comes to helping people. She could use all of the help she needs from us.

They all nod in agreement before facing back towards Lumine and Paimon.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Miss, after much consideration, we've decided to assist you with finding your brother.

Lumine was surprised greatly by the offer as her eyes widened.

Lumine: You... you guys will help me?

TheNintegaGuy: We're not the ones to back down from helping friends or people in need out. Besides, three extra pairs of hands are a lot better than one.

The otherworldly traveler hadn't quite known what to say at first, but slowly, she finds herself smiling.

Lumine: T-Thank you guys so much! I'll... I'll take all the help I can get!

TheNintegaGuy: Although if you need our help then we first need to introduce ourselves. I'm Nintega, I'm fearless, confident, and an action lover.

He then points over towards Jordan.

TheNintegaGuy: This is Jordan. He's a goofball, but if you need anyone to brighten the mood up in times that get you down then he's your man.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Aw, thanks a bunch, pal! *joking* I am simply overjoyed that you think so highly of me!

TheNintegaGuy: ...Don't be weird, man.

Nintega then finally points over towards Shadow who gives Lumine a small smile.

TheNintegaGuy: And finally, Shadow. He may look edgy and stoic, but not only does he have a heart of gold, he's a lot smarter and tougher than you think.

Shadowlight2784: Yeah, I used a peanut to crack a bowling ball with math.

Jordan and Nintega look at him with indescribable expressions and then turn back to Lumine.

TheNintegaGuy: Okay...maybe not smarter...

Lumine: Hm, those are some... odd names. *smiles* Still, it's good to meet you all. I'm Lumine and this is Paimon.

She gestures to the floating girl who waves.

Paimon: Hiya! If you ever need a great Teyvat guide, Paimon's the one to go to!

Nintega smiles before he, along with the others, notice a shiny red tear-shaped crystal on the small hill up ahead and all of them looked at it with concern.

TheNintegaGuy: What's that? (I know it came from Dvalin, but it's best we all play this act for now.)

Lumine: We were just about to investigate it. You wanna come and see with us?

All three of them looked at each other before nodding in response to this question and they all walked up towards the strange crystal with huge interest on what it was even though Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow already knew what it was. They all gathered around the crystal as it illuminated a red aura on all of them.

Paimon: Paimon's never seen a stone like this before, so Paimon can't tell what it is.

Lumine: You think it may be dangerous?

Jordanwolfboy9743: I mean this was the spot of where we all saw that dragon land on... I'm going with a huge yes.

Shadowlight2784: It does seem important though. Maybe it's a key item?

Paimon: Wait, what do you mean a "key item"?

Jordanwolfboy9743: Dude!

Shadowlight2784: What? Oh yeah...NPCs.

Lumine: NPCs?

Before Shadow could talk further, Nintega elbows him, getting him to shut up.

Shadowlight2784: Oww...

TheNintegaGuy: It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to bring it with us and show it to someone in Mondstadt to have it appraised.

Paimon: You guys are heading over to Mondstadt too? Paimon thought you guys were already residents of Mondstadt.

Now that was both a question and a statement that Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow did not want to hear as now they are cornered into a situation to where they should either tell them the truth about them being from another world or keep on the fibbing act of acting like they were from Teyvat. Luckily, Nintega knew exactly what to say.

TheNintegaGuy: We're not exactly residents of Mondstadt or... any other of the nations here for that matter. W-We're from... uh... an entire different nation except it doesn't have an element nor do we worship a god.

Nintega then gestures with his eyes for the other two to play along with his act as they each nervously come up with the best story that they can muster up as well.

Jordanwolfboy9743: R-Right! If you also remember, we never said we were from Mondstadt!

Shadowlight2784: Exactly! W-We just wanted to get away from all that and settle somewhere else. Mondstadt's the nicest place we've heard of, so we decided on that being the place we head to.

Lumine and Paimon weren't really sure if they bought their story as they threw on some befuddled expressions.

Paimon: If... If you three say so, Paimon guesses.

Paimon replied. Lumine still didn't look too convinced, but she was reminded again of the red glowing tear before her which got back her attention.

Lumine: We still haven't decided on what we'll be doing with this though.

Paimon: Paimon thinks it'd be best to keep it safe with us for now.

Jordanwolfboy9743: But we don't know if this thing is dangerous or not. One of us should touch it.

TheNintegaGuy: Good idea.

Nintega then quickly turns to Jordan.

TheNintegaGuy: Jordan, you touch it!

Jordan looks towards Nintega in pure shock of what he just suggested.

Jordanwolfboy9743: No way! I'm not touching it! You touch it!

Nintega and Shadow then looked at each other with deadpanned looks before back towards Jordan.

TheNintegaGuy: Fine, we'll vote on it.

TheNintegaGuy & Shadowlight2784: Jordan!

Jordanwolfboy9743: W-What?! You traitor!

He points at Shadow who shrugs.

Shadowlight2784: Hey, that thing could be full of malware for all I know. There ain't no way I'm gonna risk my life for that.

Jordanwolfboy9743: B-But I-I... y-you... *groans* Fine! I'll take it. *murmurs* Nice to know how much my life matters to you guys.

TheNintegaGuy: Oh, quit being a baby and grab it already, dude.

Jordanwolfboy9743: (Coming from one of the guys who didn't wanna grab it.)

With no way of backing out, Jordan hesitantly reached for the red, crystalized tear. His hand makes contact after a few seconds and he braces himself for karma to kick him in the shins. However, a good ten seconds passed and nothing happened to him. He breathes a sigh of relief and stores the tear away in his pocket.

Jordanwolfboy9743: You guys... are severely lucky I didn't die on the spot.

TheNintegaGuy: Quit being dramatic... You're still here whining, aren't you?

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hey, I'm not whining, I'm complaining; there's a difference.

TheNintegaGuy: Not that big of a difference...

Shadowlight2784: That's what she said, and your dad said, and my mom said, all in the same—

He was cut off by Nintega slapping a hand over his mouth.

TheNintegaGuy: Now is not the time to be quoting SmashBits, Shadow.

Lumine and Paimon were watching the guys having a small argument as they both turned to each other while sweatdropping as they did not know what they were getting themselves into.

Paimon: A-Anyways, now that we've got it, let's get outta here!

All five of them then proceed to head their way on towards Mondstadt, but little do both Lumine and Paimon know that all three of them winked at each other with smirks on their faces as that was all according to their plan. As they were walking, none of them noticed a small shadowy figure looking at them from a distance. They jump out of sight as Shadow eyes behind himself slightly before looking back forward.

As they walked ahead, the atmosphere felt a little bit too quiet for the five as seeing how they all probably wanted to get to know their new friends a lot better, Nintega decided to strike up some conversation.

TheNintegaGuy: So, you said that you lost your brother, right? Do you know where exactly you last saw him or does he live anywhere near here?

Lumine: Well, that's the thing. He doesn't really live here. In fact, he and I... aren't from this world.

Nintega pretended to act surprised as he made his eyes widen.

TheNintegaGuy: Not from this world?! That's something you don't hear everyday in Teyvat!

Lumine: I know. It's... it's like this. My brother Aether and I, we traveled to many worlds, seen different things, and had many different experiences. We eventually came to this world and we were about to cross to the next before...

She looked down, saddened from the memory that the three boys knew all too well, but once again, they didn't make that known to her as they continued to play dumb.

Lumine: Before... we were ambushed by this unknown god. She went on about "the sustainer of principles and the arrogance of man coming to an end" and she attacked us. We tried fighting back, but we barely stood a chance. Eventually, Aether got trapped by her magic and got taken by her. I tried to save him, but the god did the same to me and... I blacked out. When I came to, I found myself still in this world, but without my powers. She just... took him away.

She sighs in sadness before trying her best to carry on with the story.

Lumine: Ever since then, I've been trying to find him, but no matter where I go, he's nowhere. For the longest time, I was... alone.

She then smiled and looked at Paimon who floated right beside her.

Lumine: That is, until I met Paimon here two months ago.

Paimon: Paimon nearly drowned in the ocean before Lumine here literally fished Paimon out and saved Paimon, so Paimon owes so much to her!

Jordanwolfboy9743: *snickers* Could've been worse. You're nearly small enough to be swept away by a fish.

Paimon: W-Wha?! Am not! Paimon's not that small!

Shadowlight2784: You know, she's right. She's not that small. She's about the right size to work in Santa's workshop perhaps.

The three boys shared a laugh much to Lumine and Paimon's confusion. However, as much as Lumine didn't want to laugh either... she was barely able to hold in a small giggle to which Paimon noticed in shock.

Paimon: You find that funny too?!

Lumine: I-I'm sorry, Paimon, it's just... you really are kinda small.

Paimon puffed out her cheeks and pouted while crossing her arms.

Paimon: Are we just gonna stand here and bully Paimon or are we heading to Mondstadt?!

The laughter started to die down as Nintega was struggling to hold it in some more before responding.

TheNintegaGuy: *laughs* Okay, okay... Sorry, Paimon. But you've got to admit, that lightened up the sad atmosphere that we were all having for a quick minute.

Lumine: Yeah, it did. Thanks, you guys.

Jordanwolfboy9743: No problem at all. It's kinda what we do.

Shadowlight2784: Really? I thought we write stories for-

Once again, Nintega and Jordan gave him a fiery eyed stare, silencing him indefinitely.

Shadowlight2784: S-Shutting up.

The party's walking continued until it led them to the exit of the forest and back into the open. Mondstadt was back in full view and was now closer in distance. They only had a short walk until they finally reached the city.

Paimon: Phew! There it is! Paimon was afraid that we'd never make it.

TheNintegaGuy: Whooooa! So that's the City of Freedom, Mondstadt. Honestly, I thought it'd be way smaller than I was originally imagining it to be.

Jordanwolfboy9743: It is the capital of this land, so it would make sense for it to be big.

Shadowlight2784: Eh, I've seen bigger... and smaller too for that matter.

TheNintegaGuy: Smaller? What does that mean?

Shadowlight2784: It means-

???: Hey, you! Stop right there!

A voice shouted from the forest nearby. They all looked in its direction as Shadow and Nintega somewhat smiled at recognizing who it was. Jordan, on the other hand, stood frozen with shrunken pupils and blushing cheeks. He too recognized the voice. In fact, he more than recognized it. He adored it.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *murmur* Oh no...

They all then saw someone running up near a hill that they were all right next too and the person was definitely a female as she leapt across the air to show herself as she had long, dark brown hair, amber colored eyes, she wore a red, white, and black outfit with intricate designs. On her head was a ribbon that was tied up to look like she had bunny ears on her head, and she also had a pair of goggles around her neck. She also wore brown shorts along with a pair of red and white colored gloves and stockings that ended in white slip on shoes.

As she goes through the air for a brief second, Nintega, Shadow, Lumine, and Paimon were all glancing up at her with amazement. Jordan's reaction however, was beyond amazement as his eyes glittered with stars in them and his vision, he was imagining her winking down at him while wind carries her hair through the breeze.

When she landed onto the ground, she quickly stood upright to regain her balance before turning towards the group with a hand on her hip.

Amber: May the Anemo god protect you, strangers! I am Amber, Outrider for the Knights of Favonius!

She said this with pure pride before looking at all five of them with a somewhat serious look.

Amber: You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourselves!

Paimon: We're not looking for trouble.

Amber crosses her arms as that wasn't exactly going to convince her so quickly.

Amber: That's what all the troublemakers say.

Lumine: N-No! It's true. We were actually just on our way to Mondstadt ourselves. Hello, m-my name is Lumine.

She then gestures towards the other guys.

Lumine: These are my new friends that I just met. This is Nintega.

Nintega nods with a friendly smile.

Lumine: Shadow.

Shadow crosses his arms with a blank look.

Lumine: And finally, this is Jordan.

Jordan was by far the most extreme as far as looks went. His eyes darted about, refusing to make eye contact with angelic outrider, at least, that's how he viewed her, and beads of sweat dripped down his head. Paimon was the first to notice Jordan's strange reaction.

Paimon: Oh, wow. Paimon thinks Jordan may have gotten a little tired out too quickly.

Lumine: We weren't really walking for that long though.

However, Nintega and Shadow looked towards Jordan before smirking at each other as they knew in full on he suddenly took on a nervous persona as soon as Amber showed up. Back in their world when they would talk about which characters are their favorites or ones that they claimed to be their waifu, Amber was apparently on Jordan's list.

Amber: Hmm, those don't sound like local names to me.

Her eyes then wandered over to Paimon.

Amber: And this... mascot, what's the deal with it?

This quickly made Nintega, Jordan, who quickly snapped out of his trance, and Shadow's eyes widen before they each slowly get devious grins on their faces as they know that through Genshin Impact, there was a specific running gag involving Paimon that they just loved to call her every time that they get the chance.

Lumine: We're fri-

TheNintegaGuy, Shadowlight2784, & Jordanwolfboy9743: Emergency food!

That kind of answer didn't sit well with Paimon as she spun around to glare at them as she stomped the air in a tantrum.

Paimon: H-Hey! That's even worse than being a mascot!

The three went into a fit of laughter yet again while Lumine and Amber watched, bewildered by their answer.

Lumine: D-Don't mind them. I just met them a few moments ago, so I've no idea what they're like.

She said to Amber who nodded understandably.

Amber: So to sum it up. You're all traveling partners, right?

TheNintegaGuy: Pretty much. I mean, even before we met each other, we were all already traveling buddies. (Well... More like writing buddies back in our world, but this works too.)

Amber: Well look, there's been a large dragon sighted around Mondstadt recently. Best you get inside the city as soon as possible.

Shadowlight2784: Way ahead of you on that plan actually considering you stopped us while we were actually walking towards that destination...

Amber: Oh, well I can still escort you all there. It's not far.

TheNintegaGuy: *deadpans* *mumbles* No duh...

Paimon: Oh? Aren't you out here for some other reason?

Amber: I am. But not to worry. I can keep you all safe while doing that too. Besides, I'm still not sure if I can trust you all just yet.

Shadowlight2784: Makes sense. I mean, we haven't really given you a reason to trust us yet.

Lumine: Why so suspicious?

Amber: Oh, ahh... I'm sorry. Probably not something that I should say as a knight.

She then tries to sound as polite and proper as she can, but it all sounded really forced.

Amber: I give you my apologies, uh... strange yet... respectable travelers.

Paimon was definitely not buying it.

Paimon: That sounded so fake!

TheNintegaGuy: Are you sure that you're really a knight...? Cause I'm starting to question your identity a lot right now more than your questioning ours.

Amber glared at Nintega making fun of her.

Amber: Do you have something against the type of language usage prescribed by the Knights of Favonius handbook?!

Nintega and Shadow realize that they may have offended her. Thinking quickly, they turned to Jordan who had gone back to his earlier nervous self and they both pushed him towards Amber, snapping him from his daze as he glared back at them.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* W-What are you-

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* She's your waifu, so you've naturally gotta be the one to calm her down.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* She's basically another Pinkie Pie in your eyes! Do something!

Jordan facepalms and groans silently before very slowly and reluctantly turning to look at Amber who takes notice of him.

Jordanwolfboy9743: L-Look, I'm sorry if... if they offended you, Miss Amber. Lumine here's trying to find her brother. They got separated a long time ago and we're kind of in a hurry to find him.

Amber's demeanor changed on a dime and she aimed a sympathetic frown over at Lumine.

Amber: Oh... so... she's looking for her family?

Jordanwolfboy9743: Yeah. She's... really torn up about it, so... if you could, maybe... go easy on her?

She takes one more long look at Lumine until she sighed.

Amber: Well... alright. I think I'm willing to look past their... comments. Just as long as they don't make it a habit. Anyways, all of you follow me. I'll take you to Mondstadt.

She spins around and walks down the road that led to Mondstadt, prompting the group to follow. They walked in silence as Jordan looked down, still recovering from almost losing his cool back there. Shadow sees his and walks up to his side and nudges his shoulder.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Smooth moves there, Casanova~.

Jordan turns to him.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* W-What are you talking about?

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Oh, don't play dumb, pal. Nintega and I almost lost it from seeing you have a near nervous breakdown when speaking with Amber.

Nintega entered the conversation too as he walked alongside Shadow.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* And here I thought I was going to be the center of attention for that kind of problem. Though it seems you're the unlucky one here considering you meet Amber at the start of the game.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* *sigh* Yeah, yeah. Go on and laugh it up.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Nah, I think I've had my fill of laughs for now. Although...

He smirks, staring ahead at Amber.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* This does present an interesting situation for you, bud. You've fawned over her this whole time and now you've got a chance to get in good with her.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Uhh, I don't know if that's how I would have phrased that, Shadow... but sure, why not?

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* Wait... are... are you both suggesting that I... try to...

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Make you and her a thing? Yeah! The hell else could we have been implying?

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* A-Are you kidding?! She's way out of my league! She wouldn't want someone like me! I'm a total nerd!

Nintega and Shadow both cross their arms with raised eyebrows on their faces as Jordan says that like he's the only nerd here that he knows when two others are standing right beside him.

Jordanwolfboy9743: *whisper* N-No offense. I just... don't think I'd have a shot with her. She's the amazing Outrider Amber and I'm... just... *sadly* me.

TheNintegaGuy: *whisper* Oh, come on! We can name tons of reasons for why you guys are perfect for each other! You're both energetic, you're both way more outgoing than Shadow and I combined, and you both love to see your friends in the brightest of moods. Do I need to go on? Because I have all day to explain everything.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Besides, if you really want things between you two to naturally progress, you're not gonna get very far by just standing back here with us.

He motions towards Amber.

Shadowlight2784: *whisper* Go talk to her.

Jordan still wasn't quite sure if they were right, but a gut instinct was telling him to at least try. Swallowing the lump in his throat as well as his nerves, he walked ahead until he reached Amber's side. She notices him and smiles a bit.

Amber: So, what's the deal with you and your friends there?

She asked, motioning her head back to Nintega and Shadow.

Jordanwolfboy9743: W-Well... my friends and I, we're travelers... in a sense. We heard all about Lumine's issue and we decided to help her.

Amber: Aww, that's really sweet of you guys.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Yeah... it is. Family's important, you know?

Amber: Yeah... I know the feeling.

She replied, looking ahead with a small, sad looking frown.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Is... something wrong?

She snapped back to it and tried putting on a grin while waving her hand dismissively.

Amber: I-It's nothing! Just a random thought!

Jordan was a bit curious as to why she suddenly got downhearted, but he then remembered one certain detail about her, and it was one that... had a bad effect on her. Amber had a grandfather whom she loved dearly, but one day, he mysteriously disappeared and it affected her greatly. In fact, he was the one who founded the Outrider division for the Knights of Favonius, but upon his disappearance, it quickly faded and lost most, if not, all of its members, leaving Amber as the last.

Although he couldn't really relate, Jordan could still somewhat imagine how hard it must have been for Amber. Still, he admired how she persevered through it all despite that. That was one of the things he loved about her after all.

Again, he didn't want her to know that he knew, so he decided to not question her as he nodded.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Alright.

He then got an idea.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Hey... you... wanna hear a joke or two? I've got a few that might have you rolling.

Amber: Sure! I'd love to hear them!

He proceeds to tell her the beginning of one while Shadow and Nintega watched with proud smiles.

Shadowlight2784: "Out of his league" he said, and now look. They're already hitting it off.

TheNintegaGuy: He is so getting a handful of "I told you so's" later.

Shadowlight2784: Yes. Yes, he absolutely is.

They both chuckle as Amber can be heard bursting into laughter from Jordan's joke. Paimon and Lumine on the other hand were a little bit confused and curious on what the two were so upbeat about all of a sudden.

Paimon: What's going on over there with those two?

TheNintegaGuy: No need to be so concerned, Paimon. If it's Jordan, then I already know that a lot of fun is being talked about over there.

Lumine: You guys sound pretty close.

TheNintegaGuy: Oh, close doesn't even begin to describe it, Lumine. We've been best friends for a very long time now that you can practically say that we're like family at this point.

He then looks over at Lumine with a smile while pointing a finger up.

TheNintegaGuy: You may think that I sound crazy when I say this, but another close friend of mine who's actually a talking mare always tells me this, "The most important magic of all is the magic of friendship." It's corny, I know... but she's not wrong.

Shadowlight2784: In fact, where we come from, we have our own assortment of friends that we hang out with all of the time too.

Paimon: Is that so? Then Paimon wonders why did you three come all the way out here without them?

Nintega and Shadow's eyes widen as they nervously glance at each other as that question was a lot more direct than the others that they've been asking lately.

TheNintegaGuy: Uh... Well...

Shadowlight2784: You see... We...

Before they could even answer though... the strange sound of a creature caught all of their attention as the group turned towards another path to see an odd looking bipedal creature. It had tufts of hair protruding around its head, it had a grayish black body, two similarly colored horns stuck out from the top of the head, and its face looked to be nothing more than a mask. 

Paimon: Ah! A hilichurl!

Seeing how they were already encountering one of the main enemies in the entire game, Nintega was already pumped to fight as he summoned out his bow which still surprised him that he still doesn't have his keyblade.

TheNintegaGuy: *groans* I must get this taken care of sooner or later...

Amber: Hilichurls aren't supposed to be this close to Mondstadt.

Shadowlight2784: Well, a little swinging, pounding, and stabbing ought to chase them out of here!

He said as he summoned out his new claymore and Jordan does the same thing as he summoned out his sword.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Besides, they are the most common enemies that you'll find everywhere so this should be easy.

Hearing that worried Lumine a little bit as she feared that these guys were getting in over their heads.

Lumine: Wait! A-Are you sure, you guys know how to fight?

Jordanwolfboy9743: What's so difficult to understand about swish, swish, stab? It's a sword, not a fighter jet.

Lumine was about to protest to that claim, but all three of the boys quickly rushed towards the hilichurl to try and take it down. However, they both stopped quickly and got a better look to see that the hilichurl wasn't alone at all as they quickly forgot that they spawn in packs most of the time. They each shrugged their shoulders before charging into battle.

One of the hilichurls was walking about, until the voice of Shadow caught it's attention.

Shadowlight2784: Hey!

The hilichurl quickly turned towards Shadow as he punched it in the face where its mask was, but that barely made it get pushed back. However, this didn't surprise Shadow as he pulled out his claymore.

Shadowlight2784: Still standing, huh? I'll fix that.

He was getting ready to attack the hilichurl, but he wasn't expecting Nintega to quickly bump right into him causing them to both fall down to the ground.

TheNintegaGuy: Ow! Watch it!

Shadowlight2784: Hey! You watch it!

They both looked up to see the hilichurls getting ready to attack them back as Nintega quickly gets back up and leaps over one of them as it goes chasing after him. Shadow then blocks a swipe that the hilichurl made before rolling himself back up onto his feet. Jordan was dealing with another hilichurl as he backs himself up, but also accidentally bumps into Shadow from behind.

Shadowlight2784: Watch it, Jordan!

Jordan blocks a strike from a hilichurl before counterattacking with a sword strike to knock it back. Shadow did the same thing, however the claymore was pretty heavy as he swung it back and it ended up going through Nintega's bow as he glared annoyingly back at Shadow.

TheNintegaGuy: Whoa! Watch where you swing that thing!

Jordanwolfboy9743: You should talk!

Nintega looks behind himself to see that an arrow that he had in his hand was pointed towards Jordan's face as he sheepishly smiles.

TheNintegaGuy: Sorry. My bad.

Nintega then rolls off to the side before aiming an arrow towards another hilichurl and fires at it. Meanwhile, Jordan takes a strike at one, but before he was about to take another one, the end of Shadow's claymore ending up colliding with Jordan's sword and he was lucky to have blocked it just in time as both him and Shadow looked at each other with widened eyes.

They regain their focus as Jordan quickly rushes towards another hilichurl as he gets ready to take a horizontal swipe at it... but Nintega got in his way and he noticed this a bit too late as he takes a swipe... and cuts some of Nintega's hair off which made him look behind himself in shock.

TheNintegaGuy: What the-

Nintega wasn't paying attention as the hilichurl in front of him knocked him away and onto the ground as he grunted in slight pain before glaring at Jordan.

TheNintegaGuy: Okay, you just nicked me with your sword.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Well, I didn't know you were about to land where I was swinging!

Lumine, Paimon, and Amber were all watching these three get their butts kicked by some simple hilichurls and honestly it made them question if these guys even knew how to fight at all, let alone work as a team.

Amber: You... wouldn't happen to have known about their... lack of fighting skills, haven't you?

Lumine: Trust me, I... am just as befuddled as you.

Shaking her head, Amber pulls out a bow and rushes ahead while Lumine follows behind with a sword in her grip. They make it over to the group of boys before they make short work of the Hilichurls flawlessly. With the occasional arrow to the head from Amber and with the fast and furious sword swipes from Lumine, the Hilichurls were all dead in a solid minute. Nintega, Jordan, and Shadow got up, panting from exhaustion.

Jordanwolfboy9743: D-Don't worry, *pant* ladies. We *pant* we softened them up for you! *pant*

Lumine: No offense, boys, but...

Paimon: It mostly looked like they were the ones that softened you all up.

She sassed, crossing her arms.

Shadowlight2784: N-Nah, you're mistaken. We... We were purposefully going easy on them!

TheNintegaGuy: Y-Yeah, that's it! I-It would have been too easy if we took them out quickly, so we played around with them! It only just looked like we were inexperienced!

He says this, but Nintega gave himself a forced smile while looking down at the bow that he was holding with some irritation.

TheNintegaGuy: (Of all of the weapons that I had to wield... It had to be something that I least enjoy using...)

Amber: L-Look, I admire how brave you guys are, but... maybe you should leave the fighting to the professionals for a while.

Nintega's eyes widened from this as he raised a finger, but he soon let it down knowing that any information regarding his keyblade would already give away that they were from another world too. Amber then gives an impressed look at Lumine.

Amber: Though I've got to say, you actually surprised me a little with your moves there... Luckily, we were able to come in just in time as backup. How did it feel?

Lumine: Those things are tougher than they look, but me and my brother have dealt with situations like these before, so I wasn't too surprised.

Paimon: Now that you mention it, how is it the hilichurls ended up here? These creatures don't seem like the type to set up camps so close to cities like this.

TheNintegaGuy: Aren't they supposed to live further out in the wilderness?

Amber: Yes, that's right. But because the dragon - Stormterror - has been around a lot more recently, our orchards have been destroyed and the local market has been affected as well. When the storm hit, we usually end up with at least a few injuries, so the Knights of Favonius have been tied up doing the best that they can to defend the area.

Paimon: So these annoying creatures have been getting closer and closer to the city?

Amber: Exactly. That said, clearing the camp helped make the area a little bit safer.

TheNintegaGuy: Yeah, well next time a pack of those creeps ever try to raid this area... It's going to be an all you can beat buffet.

Amber didn't quite get the joke at first, but it donned on her and she chuckles slightly.

Amber: Okay, I'll give you that. Anyways, all of you come with me! A responsible knight must make sure to see you to the city safely.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Right, of course, but... do you think I can have a word with my friends for a second? Sorry, Lumine and Paimon, but... you'll have to leave for a second too.

Amber: Sure thing. Just don't take too long. Stormterror might come back at any moment.

And with that, Amber, Lumine, and Paimon put some distance between themselves and the three boys. Once they were a good enough distance away, in a flash, Jordan spun around and delivered a hard smack to the top of Nintega and Shadow's heads, eliciting pained yelps from that.

TheNintegaGuy: OW! What the heck, dude?!

Shadowlight2784: Yeah! I'm pretty sure my head's still pounding from that fight!

Jordanwolfboy9743: What. In the hell. Was that all about?! Were you guys trying to make me look like an idiot back there?!

TheNintegaGuy: Helloooo! I'm not carrying my signature weapon for your information and honestly, I could say the same thing to you! You nearly cut my head off! Look at what you did to my amazing hair!

He points to the top of his head where one of his locks of hair had been noticeably cut off from Jordan's swing.

Jordanwolfboy9743: Well, if you hadn't jumped in front of me so suddenly, I wouldn't have done that! And what was with you nearly piercing my face with that arrow of yours?!

TheNintegaGuy: That wouldn't have happened if Shadow hadn't swung that large knife sword into my bow!

Shadowlight2784: Hey, that thing may as well have had the weight of an elephant because it was hard for me to swing that thing, alright?! Plus, Jordan didn't exactly help when he blocked my attack with his!

Jordanwolfboy9743: Well, maybe you should get a smaller sword then!

Nintega sighs and shakes his head while putting a hand to his chin.

TheNintegaGuy: Okay, this won't work. We've each been given a weapon to which we have barely any experience with and it's way too early to be embracing the unfamiliar.

Nintega then gets an idea in his head as things were already going strange with the game already now that they're in it as the dialogue isn't even the same now that they've interacted with Lumine, Paimon, and Amber.

TheNintegaGuy: Wait a second... We've been treating almost everything so far as if we were still playing the game... yet we're in game now.

Shadowlight2784: And your point being?

Nintega looks at the bow in his hand and he imagines it as his keyblade, but he also remembers that Jordan randomly summoned the sword because he was thinking of a weapon. This gave Nintega an idea as he turned towards the other two.

TheNintegaGuy: Guys! Try and see if you can switch your weapon!

Jordan and Shadow raised an eyebrow at this idea, but they shrugged their shoulders before they all tossed their weapons into the air and they each held their hands out to try and imagine themselves having a different weapon that they would want and it turns out that Nintega's claim was correct...

Nintega's bow then turned into a sword of his design, Jordan's sword turned into a bow of his design, and finally Shadow's claymore turned into a polearm that was to his liking. They each caught their respective weapons in their hands as Nintega starts swinging his new sword around like a pro while Shadow was able to spin the polearm around like a staff before poking it forward and retracting it back towards himself easily now that he was holding a lighter weapon. Jordan even felt like he could handle things more easily as he summoned out two arrows and aimed towards a nearby tree and once he fires, he easily hit both shots onto the tree.

Jordanwolfboy9743: This is more like it!

Shadowlight2784: Now there will definitely be something satisfying about not losing!

TheNintegaGuy: Guys... This is big! If we can change our weapons to... whatever we want... Who knows what other kinds of surprises this world has? This may have something to do with either the fact that we're players inside of a game... or my keyblade reacting to the game.

Jordanwolfboy9743: You think it could potentially be both?

TheNintegaGuy: Who knows? But something tells me that while our journey of getting home just got a little bit easier... I still feel like we're going to have our challenges here.

Shadowlight2784: Challenges is an understatement, let's just agree on that.

Jordan and Nintega nod in agreement while Jordan looks down at his bow. As he stared at it, the memory of Amber came back to him... and how she looked upon seeing how he and the others handled the Hilichurls. His mood almost immediately took a nosedive as he sighed, threw his weapon into the air to make it disappear, and sat down on the ground.

Jordanwolfboy9743: I... kinda wish we knew about this whole changing weapons thing sooner. Now, I think I just made myself look like a fool in front of Amber.

He rubs his face with a sigh.

Jordanwolfboy9743: So much for making a good first impression with her.

Nintega and Shadow started to feel bad for him as they took a seat beside him.

Shadowlight2784: Hey, don't beat yourself up for it, bud. To be totally fair, you weren't the only screw up back there.

TheNintegaGuy: And you'll have plenty more opportunities to show her what you're really made of. All of us in fact... and it's not just her.

He then looks up towards the sky and sees a faint silhouette of Dvalin flying past the area as it makes him get a serious look. He stood and faced his friends who remained seated for the moment.

TheNintegaGuy: Let's show all of the people in this world that we meet that we're more than meets the eye. We've proved it many times before and we can do it again.

He reaches an arm out to them, smiling proudly.

TheNintegaGuy: If we're gonna be staying here for a while, we may as well make a name for ourselves. So, what do you guys say? Wanna be the kinds of heroes that this world needs?

Jordan and Shadow stared back, silently taking in everything he said. It was gonna be a hard journey going forward, but as long as they faced it together, then nothing would stop them. Jordan and Shadow share a quick glance before nodding and grinning. Jordan was the first to take Nintega's hand as he pulled him up before helping Shadow to his feet as well.

Jordanwolfboy9743: In that case, I'd say we should make this commitment official with... oh! A power bump!

He brings his fist up to his friends as Nintega's grin widens.

TheNintegaGuy: Now that's an unbreakable promise I would never let down!

Nintega then bumps his fist onto Jordan's as they both looked towards Shadow awaiting his approval and all he could do was smile.

Shadowlight2784: Alright. I guess we're committed to this. Count me in.

He bumps his fist with Nintega and Jordan as well.

TheNintegaGuy & Jordanwolfboy9743 & Shadowlight2784: Power bump!

The camera shows the top as all three friends held the triple fist bump proudly. It then pans up to the sky to show the title "Dimensional Impact: Adventures in Teyvat" before it fades to black and the credits roll.
