I picked myself back up from sitting on the rock in the pond. The sun gave me back some energy, feeling refreshed afterwards. I sighed and opened the door, walking to the couch to rest. I was outside for two hours, it's six now. Nya isn't back, she left the shop, walking towards the city.

I slumped on the couch, laying down and wrapping a blanket around my shoulders. 

Time Skip: Three Hours- 9 am

I sat at the kitchen table, moving around a piece of egg on my plate with a fork. "You have hardy touched your food," Misako noticed, eyeing my plate. I didn't say a word, "You get any skinnier and I think you'll turn into a twig on a tree." Nya grinned. 

I rolled my eyes and pushed my plate away, towards my brother. "Not hungry," I admitted, yawning into my hand. "What did you eat on the island?" Zane asked, "I don't really want to talk about the island," I quietly said.

"You have barely said a word since you've returned, are you feeling alright?" Sensei Wu wondered, I nodded, "Fine, just tired, I guess."

"Not saying anything won't let us help you," Nya retorted, laying her fork on her plate indicating she was finished. "I don't want your help," I mumbled, loud enough for her to hear. 

"You never let anyone help you, it gets you hurt." 

"No, it gets you hurt. The exact reason I don't want you involved," I uttered under my breathe. "But what about--"

"Don't..." I warned, "He is still around, you see that, don't you?" she snapped. "Of course I do, but if you want to discuss this, can we do it when I'm not tired and I'm used to Ninjago again?"

"It's like you don't even want to be back."

"Nya!" Kai snapped, nudging her shoulder, she shrugged lightly. "Then maybe I should have stayed there. I'll ask that villain to send me back, if that's what you want." I suggested, standing up. Nya was left speechless as I grabbed my hoodie from the rack.

"Emma, please do not start," Cole pleaded. I turned around and folded my arms across my chest, "Start what? You thought I was dead! Our parents and all of Ninjago don't know I'm even alive! Because you convinced yourself that I was gone! Mom and dad have lost all hope that I'm here! I was so far gone and I still am, I basically died, Cole!"

"I want to help you because I am here for you!" 

"Cole, you said that when I was fifteen! This isn't just a bad school day, you don't get it! You helped me and then left! Vanished! Just like everyone else, you can't fix this!"

"I can try!"

"I can't- I can't do this! I don't remember who you all are! I want to be rid of that island! But the more you ask, the more I get put there! That place was terrifying, it was silent, and when it wasn't, I felt safer! But it was dark, and it still is! I can't see here! And I want to be in Ninjago again, but the more you ask the questions, the more I get taken back there! It's like I never left! If one more person asks about the island then I am leaving! To the woods, just where you found me two years ago! So leave it be!" I yelled, slamming the door behind me as I left. 

I shoved the sunglasses onto my face and zipped up my hoodie so I wouldn't get burned, and so I could see. I stuffed my glasses into my pocket and kept the sunglasses on, blocking out the light. I told the truth, I'm done.
