Alyssa's POV

Jay and I have been sticking really close together each other, ever since the incident a week ago I've been terrfied. Things can happen out of nowhere, no one really knows when or what, but will.

The people now know Sensei and Jay are back, they've come to their senses and are following rules now. But I've changed, not physically, mentally. Sure, I've grown more muscles, because now I have the motivation to fight. I'm stronger now, I don't back down.

If someone knew me but not by sight then they wouldn't know me now. My voice has grown hoarse from stress, my hair is longer and I'm not super sensitive like I was. The old Alyssa would cry if she lost her family, she would plead for help. But now I won't ask for help, I can't trust anyone. I won't sob, it won't help my family, all I can do is fight.

I adjusted my ninja gi, everything is black except for the outlines of the suit. My combat boots, gi, fingerless gloves and mask are all black, but I never will forget my true color, the purple. I wear my blonde hair in a braid laying on my left shoulder, one of Sensei Wu's old staffs is strapped on my back. This is one fight I can't lose, everyone I love is on the line.

"We should start looking." Jay said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked up, searching around. We were on a beach, trees surrounding the center of the massive island. I looked over the ocean, seeing the endless waters. I knew now that the dimensions are separate, juse like the map said.

"Who do you think is here?" I wondered, walking alomg the coast with Jay. We both had packs on our backs, filled with medical kits, clothes, water and food. Jay shrugged, "Hopefully not Kai, him and water don't get along." he responded.

"I miss them all, it was so difficult being the only one left."

"I imagine it would be, but hey! You got stronger, you trained yourself, Ally."

"I guess." I mumbled, looking at the ground as we walked. "Ooh, ae ei!" someone shouted behind us. Jay and I whipped around, seeing natives running with sticks in their hands. I glanced at Jay and his eyes widened, "Run!" he yelled, grabbing my arm and tugging me along.

"Our powers won't do anything! We need to keep moving!" I directed, knowing air and lightning are rendered useless on a beach.

We continued running until the villagers weren't behind us any more. To be safe, we kept on for five minutes, stopping at a makeshift fire that died out.

"These aren't villagers." Jay said, poking at one of the logs. "These are fresh." he added.

"What if it's them?" I questioned, hoping to find someone. "Who's there?" a voice boomed from behind. I stood up straight, both Jay and I not turning around in case they were villagers. "If you're not villagers we won't hurt you." another voice said.

"We're from Ninjago, not villagers." Jay finally spoke up. "Jay?" the voice asked.

We both turned around, seeing Lloyd and Cole in their ninja gi's. I smiled and Cole's eyes widened, a grin on his face. "Sister!" he shouted, running over to me and wrapping his arms over my shoulders.

I hugged him back before briefly hugging Lloyd, "Just you two? No Em?" Lloyd asked me. I shook my head, "I found Sensei and Jay. No Nya, Misako, Emma, Garmadon, Zane or Kai."

"We should get back, so we can find the rest." Cole advised. I nodded and took the gem from my pocket, holding it in front of me, "Hinta Cupla." I recited, watching the gem glow and open a black portal, leading to Ninjago.
