7. Summer fair
Quick note: Remember the small cute boy from tales of the nine tailed. Yeah, he's 7 years old (in the drama too big) so yeah.

Jimin's point of view
"Daddy," I groaned when a small hand cupped my cheek.
"Not now." I mumbled and turned around, covering my face with my duvet.
"Daddy wake up." Once again his small hand cupped my covered cheeks and started to squish and play with them.
"Daddy is tired baby." I murmured.
"But-"
"We are going to be late! Oh my god!" A loud voice screeched making me jolt awake. Still, in a daze, I tried to look at the lock, my eyes widened and I realize the reason why she was screaming. I hurriedly jumped out of my bed, wearing my slippers my eyes fell on my cute little boy who was standing near the edge of the bed.
"Hurry up Minwoo, did you take bath?" I asked while picking him up and walking towards the bathroom.
"No, Minhee was taking bath." He replied, lips forming in a natural pout.
"It's okay, but better be quick." I put him down when I saw Minhee walking out of the bathroom, a barbie towel covering her small body. "Let me help you, princess." I crouched down when I saw her struggling to dry her hair with another towel.
"It's alright." Before I could reach out to help her she raised her hand, rejecting my help harshly. A pang of hurt filled my heart and I took a harsh gulp. "Alright, princess." I stood up and walked to the kitchen, trying to forget what just happened a few minutes ago.
"What will you have for breakfast," I asked while checking the fridge. As expected Minhee didn't reply, she chose to ignore me.
"Egg sandwich!" Minwoo's excited voice came from the bathroom which made me smile.
"Egg sandwich it is," I mumbled while taking out a tray of eggs, bread, cheese, and some spices from the cabinet. Once I was done with them I put them on two different plates and put them on the dining table.
"Breakfast is ready." I walked towards Minhee's room where I see her struggling to comb her hair. She already wore her favorite sun dress so no need for is to select today's clothes.
"Can I help?" I asked, unsure if she will accept my help or not. She huffed and gave me the comb. I smiled and started to comb her almost dry hair- we didn't have much time for them to wait to dry anyways.
"I didn't sleep for the entire night! Minwoo kept hugging me. Can't he sleep in his room again?" My eight-year-old complained.
"I'm sorry princess, now you're going to share your room with Minwoo." I sighed. "Instead, why don't you hug Minwoo back? I can assure you that he will be the best cuddle brother."
"No!" She stomped her foot. "I'm not sharing my room with him! I hate him." Her words made me sigh, again. Good thing Minwoo didn't hear her, otherwise he would cry.
"Alright alright. Minwoo and I will share my room, okay. You can have your room back." I gave her a smile from the mirror which she didn't return.
"There you go, we are done!" She looks at herself in the mirror, looking at her space buns. "Breakfast is ready- I will take Minwoo's belonging to my room." I picked up a couple of cartons and walked to my room. I put down the carton and flopped on my bed. I closed my aching eyes and took a deep breath. To be honest, I just wanna stay at home and sleep for the rest of the weekend.
"Daddy," I slowly raised my head and look at Minwoo. "Minhee said I'm not allowed in her room." My eyes closed and I sighed.
"That's right baby because now we are sharing a room." I tried to sound excited.
"Daddy and I will be roommates! Yes!" He jumped excitedly making me laugh.
"Now come on, hurry up and dressed." I rugged his damp hair and walked out of the room, to the kitchen where I saw Minhee sitting on the finding table, food left untouched.
"Princess, why aren't you eating?" I asked her.
"We are late! The summer fair already started!" She yelled while looking at me with teary eyes.
"Hey, it doesn't matter if the fair started. All it's matters that we will be spending our day together. Don't cry baby, now hurry up and eat."
"No! You don't understand! It's not the same!"
"Minhee-"
"I don't wanna go to stupid fair anymore!" She yelled and got off the chair stomping toward her room.
"Get out of my way." She purposely pushed poor Minwoo who fall on his butt.
"What?" He looked at me with wide mochi eyes filled with confusion.
"Nothing baby." I walked towards him and picked him up- who climbed on me. "Just eat your food, while I go and talk to your sister. Maybe we have to spend our day at home." I sighed.
"We are not going to the summer fair?" His voice quivered and his lips wobbled.
"No-"
"No?"
"Eat your food, while I go and get ready okay." I wiped his tear and made him sit in the chair. I walked to her room and entered in. My eyes fell on the little girl who was sitting in her on the bed, sniffing her runny nose.
"You sure you don't wanna go to the fair?" I asked her.
"No." She scoffed and turned her head away from me.
"Alright, so it's just me and Minwoo going. Don't touch anything in the kitchen, don't open the door-"
"You and Minwoo are going to fair without me!?" She gasped, shock written on her face. I smirked, knowing my plan worked.
"Yeah, didn't you just say you-"
"I'm coming!" She jumped off her bed. "Only because I don't wanna stay at home alone." I smiled at her childish behavior and nodded my hair.
"As you say, princess." We walked out of her room and saw Minwoo.
"We are going to the fair!" I exclaimed.
"Yes!"
"Now hurry up Minhee, eat up. I will go and get ready." She nodded, and with the last look, I walked to my room. I took out a plain t-shirt and pants. I got to the bathroom and took a quick shower. After wearing my clothes I walked into the living room where I saw the kids ready.
"Ready?" I asked them while wearing my shoes. They both nodded their head.
"Applied sunscreen?" I asked them knowing the answer other very well. They both shook their head in denial.
"That means we are not ready yet." Upon hearing, Minwoo flopped off the sofa and ran to bring the sunscreen.
"Hear." He passed to Minhee the bottle after taking a good amount for himself. He applied the cream all over his face in such a way- it only spread on his cheeks. I chuckled and crouched down.
"Here." I gently applied the cream all over his face and exposed parts of his body as his hand and legs. "Done. Now will apply it in daddy's face?" I asked while smiling.
"Yes!" He took some and applying on my face- mostly my cheeks. I chuckled and spread it evenly on my face.
"Minhee, want me to help you?" I asked her who was looking at us.
"I already applied it."
"Okay! Let's go!" I opened the door and held it for them. Once they were out I locked the door and walked and extended both of my hands. As expected, Minhee preferred not to hold my hand while Minwoo grabbed my finger with his little hand. After a little trip from the elevator to parking, we were finally settled in our car.
"Seatbelts." I reminded them while looking from the rear mirror. They hurriedly buckle up, after giving them a small smile I turned on the ignition and drove toward the summer. I took a deep breath when fresh air hit me, making me relax in an instant. Sure the air was hot but it didn't matter.
"We are... here." My voice dropped, and the first thing I saw when we reached there was— a huge amount of people.
"And that's why I said we had to go there early." Minhee scoffed. Yes, my daughter was smarter than me. "Now suffer the heat of the sun."
"It's okay, it won't be that bad right?" I reassured them, more like myself.
No, I was wrong. I was very wrong. This is the worst. I wanna go home. This is enough human interaction for today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, for this month, next month, this year, the next year and I think for the rest of my life. There was an enormous crowd of people near the ticket window— nudging each other and rubbing their sweaty bodies on others not giving a single fuck about other people's personal space.
"Whose idea was to go to the summer fair?" Minhee asked while holding my hand tightly.
"It was my idea." I sighed and picked her up, knowing damn well she would get crushed under these nasty things. And as expected she didn't protest. "But hey, we only agree to this because you were excited."
"I was excited because I thought rides at the summer fair are good. If we weren't that late, we would be now enjoying them instead of waiting in line for tickets." She was right— I couldn't deny it.
"I'm sorry." I apologized— it was my mistake. We were late because of me.
I couldn't even give a good time to my kids, no wonder my daughter doesn't like me.
I'm a bad dad.
Only if I would have slept earlier instead of talking with that girl— what was her name again? Oh yeah, ramen. But then again, she wasn't the only reason I had to stay up late. I was renovating Minwoo's room—
Wait— why Minwoo is so quiet?
I looked around to find Minwoo but I couldn't see him around me, nor in the huge crowd. My eyes widened and panic struck me hard and my heartbeat started to escalate in fear. I looked around me again, hoping to find him in distance but I didn't.
"Minhee—" I panted.
"What?"
"We lost Minwoo."
